i was actually thinking of trying this with either roxas in twilight town in KHII or with Sora on DI in KHI (that would probably take a lot longer, so probably KHII would be prefereable). if it takes 300+ hours of gameplay i may as well pick one and get started now.

@wayfinder3 - click on forum, go to the topic and/or game your thread idea fits in best, and click new thread. @rikunobodyxiii - i thought Xemnas had Terra's heart? either way, that could be possible. though, if MX's heart held his emotions, the only thing i couldn't see happening is the guardian taking orders from Ansem SoD. Terranort maybe, because MX is the one definitely in control there, but i don't think so with Ansem SoD. Ansem SoD seems to be doing his own thing, and MX doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would take orders like that.

this may or may not be a complete list for me, but i have other stuff i need to be doing right now, so i'm just posting what's on my mind now.

if the maybe no utada hikaru is referencing to BBS possibly becoming DLC on the PSN on the NGP i think the problem with that is the original contract only covered the music going on to hard copies of the game, and not as DLC. things i would like to see: -more orchestrated music, if the budget allows for it, and if there's time for it. -more games outside of Japan getting critical mode (i think that happened with BBS, so that's a start) -a storyline a bit longer, without leaving plot holes. things i don't like/am starting not to like: -secret endings. at this point they're good if they tell about/lead to a game we know is coming out, but if it leads to something new that's just gonna drag the series out longer than it needs to be, then it becomes a bit unnecessary. -too many plot holes. there are still a bunch of things we're debating/asking questions about. and if there's only 3 games left in the series, we have filled in gaps, but i don't think 3 games will fill in whatever's left, unless they want to make the games unnecessarily long to squeeze in plot fillers.

i was confused on this at one point as well. i always had thought that Terra's LS fought Sora because the LS remembered Terra performing the ceremony with Riku, and Sora was the one standing there with the keyblade. i'd have to look back to the thread where i got the answer to be 100% sure, but i think the reason was because the LS thought Sora was MX, so it attack him in hopes to get its owner's body/mind back.

it did seem pretty easy to me. i've beaten almost all the the boss battles on the first try. the only exception i think was the battle against Repliku in twilight town. if i'm thinking correctly back to my times playing Re:CoM, not the version on the GBA, that was the only fight that gave me trouble. (i could very well be thinking back to the GBA version, as that's where i was stuck for a bit, so don't hold me to that). either way, everything else wasn't much of a hassle. even with Sora's story, i've seen a good number of people complaining about the Marluxia fight, thinking that was too hard. i'm pretty sure i beat him first try on proud mode (playing the NA version, so no critical mode.)

i don't think a whole lot of people pay attention to the ratings anymore. or at least my parents stopped after a while. back in the day they would get something more "age appropriate" for my brother, who's 5 years older than me, and once it got home i would be playing it from time to time in the following days. it doesn't matter now, 'cause i'm turning 19 this coming friday, but there's just my opinion on it. and i know this is off topic, so somebody can feel free to shut me up anytime.

this more or less sums up my train of thought. so obviously, twilight is my choice.

let's take a look here. looks like we know Versus XIII started production after KH2 was released in 2005, and we're thinking it'll release sometime in 2012. that'll mean those wanting Versus XIII will have been waiting for 7 years for it. i'm not saying they will, but if the team also takes that long on KHIII, then we would be looking at an initial 2019 release date. do i expect them to take that long? no. could they pay enough attention to making the game in such a way that they could take 7 years if they really wanted to? yes. but we also see the pattern lately of Nomura getting a game out every year, so could we see KHIII's Japanese release sooner rather than later, say a 2013 - 2014 release, maybe sometime 2015 in a worst case scenario? i think so. my point to all this ranting? don't hold your breath for too long, fans.

i actually like this idea better. but, considering the topic, a younger xehanort would be an interesting fight. perhaps that could be a part of a final battle in whatever game we end up fighting xehanort in. like we could beat him in his older form, then he could pull some magic mind trick thingy and bring you into his memories or something and there you would fight a younger version of him.

Ansem SoD/TSD/whatever: the way i see it, this form most closely resembled MX, in the fact that both used darkness, and both, imo, had the most similar goals in their search of KH. this form wanted KH for its darkness, to flood all worlds in it. MX wanted KH for both its light AND its darkness, to get a repeat of the keyblade war going and fulfill his curiosity as to what would come from the battle. so case in point, they're both searching for the darkness of KH, though their end goals may be different. correct me if i'm wrong, but i think i remember hearing something about this form receiving MX's heart when Terranort separated into Ansem SoD/TSD and Xemnas, so maybe some form of MX's memories came with his heart into Ansem. Xemnas: from what i can tell with Xemnas, it seems like he's more or less resembling Terra. yes he's based off of Terra's body, but if you look at the scene in KHFM+ where he goes to whichever chamber it is (can't think of its name right now), and he calls Aqua's armor "friend," there's something coming from Terra's memories, the remembrance of Aqua, whether or not he remembers her name. Terranort: i haven't played BBS, so the way this looks to me, from seeing cutscenes, is basically Terranort holds on to Xehanorts name, but I don't see much else in the way of memories from either MX or Terra. again, i haven't played BBS, so that may not be the case. MX: MX is MX, until he gives his heart up and joins up with Terra, where Terranort comes into fruition. his memories should be his own up to that point, as far as i can tell. yes i know i did them in reverse order, but i was just rolling them off as the came to memory, and that's how they happened to come out, so there you go.

this is one of the best thought out theories i've seen in a while. like what has been said, we'll have to wait for DDD to be released to know what happens for sure, but i see this as something that's very possible. the only thing i would say differently is if sora and maybe riku did visit the hunchback world while they weren't in their dream states, because we aren't sure if they can tap into people's memories who haven't been introduced in the series (as we wouldn't know who's memories the hunchback world is coming from), but clearly that's probably not the case, seeing as in the trailer we see sora running through the bell tower in his KH1 outfit, so that would easily scratch what i have written above. other than that, everything else looks like a strong possibility.

MF stands for mysterious figure. he's seen if Birth By Sleep, but i don't remember if he's seen the the english version as well or just in one of the japanese versions (regular and/or final mix)

That can't happen because Kairi isn't a Keyblade Wielder. She can use one, but can't own one or summon one. She can only be given one. Besides, it's not KH without Disney. Without Disney, it's just another FF game. i sort of agree with you on KH being another FF game without disney, but if disney doesn't care much for the KH series, other than it bringing them some money, then what do they care what SE does with their characters? if they don't care about the game, i don't see why they would care what their characters do, unless they're that worried about keeping a child friendly image that they're willing to pay attention even to KH for that.

well, how canon are the disney characters to the storyline? i'm sorta thinking now that the only two disney characters that have any sort of importance now are mickey and yen sid. it looks like DDD is going to be the mark of mastery exam, so why not let kairi get her own keyblade, have sora and riku pass the mark of mastery exam, have one of them train kairi and give her an easy mark of mastery exam, so that there's 3 keyblade masters, if there's a need for 3 of them, and after DDD, break ties with disney, make the playable team sora riku and kairi, make some original worlds, make some original characters, and from there make KH games that are unique to SE, with no need for any of disney's rules.

and there's the one thing that i think would start to bring KH down, if it came down to it. by now, i think they've left too many plot holes throughout the series to try to play catch up now and fill in some of the gaps. for example, we've known about namine since chain of memories, but we still don't know exactly what the story is of her birth. we know she's a special case of nobodies, if she even is a nobody at all, being born of kairi's heart/soul/body/whatever, yet being born when kairi's heart was released from sora's body, not from her own. and as a being that came into existence originating from a princess of heart, we don't know if that changes anything about namine or not (or at least, i don't). but, i'm probably over-thinking this by now, so i'll just shut up now.

is it the twilight that riku's representing, or is it the dawn, as he said at the end of chain of memories?

i'm honestly with you on this one. i know SE is releasing games on different systems to appeal to a broader audience, but there are those, like me, who have been a fan from the beginning, and would like to play every game, but can't afford to dish out money for console after console. i've played KHI, CoM, and II on the PS2, and i was able to play CoM when it originally came out on the GBA. other than that, info and other stuff on all the other games i've gotten here at KH13, an the only videos i've watched on youtube were a walkthrough of ven's story on BBS, and the final battles with xion, and her following rejoining with sora from 358/2 days. watching videos isn't the same as playing the games. i'm sure i'm not the only one that would much rather play the game than watch some video on youtube. and i'm not trying to be a bitch about this, though i do agree, i sorta sound like it, but there's my long-winded 2 cents on this.

while that could be entirely possible at this point, for all we know, the only question i have about that is, how did aqua get out of the RoD, and did AtW come with her? my guess for that is that they'll need a way out of the RoD, and AtW needs to come with aqua so that he can explain what the data is that he put within sora. and not that i want to drag out the series any longer than it already is, but my guess for the "shocking" secret ending is that both sora and riku pass the mark of mastery exam, but then a new task arises that distracts them from the one at hand.

yeah, that's what i'm thinking, something like this. remember at the end of riku's story AtW (as DiZ at the time) asked him if he wanted to take the road to light or the road to darkness, and riku said he'd take the middle road, the road to dawn. maybe it's something like that.

the synthesis recipe is found in the mansion in twilight town, in the hallway just outside of the room where sora's sleeping pod is. once you get that, you need to get to the highest synthesis level, and get these items: 7 orichalcum+ 3 regular orichalcums (no + sign) 1 energy crystal 1 twilight crystal 1 dense crystal 1 mythril crystal 7 serenity crystals if you're not at the highest synthesis level, the recipe will call for 13 orichalcum+. don't worry about that, as there are only 7 of them in the game. once you get to a certain synthesis level (i can't remember which) you only need half of the items of the original recipe to make the item, which cuts that 13 down to 7 (odd math, i know, but nothing i can do about it, so i'm just going with it.) welcome to KH13 by the way =)
