Chapter II: The boy and the Key
With the moon hanging high in the sky, as it always did, the Sleeping City was completely lit and full of life. The teeming city seemed so vast from the apartment balcony, where Alan stood.
He watched the city and all the people in it. Alan lived alone and thats how he liked it. No parents, no friends, nothing. Thats how it is when the world sees you as nothing more than orphan, but Alan didn't mind. He didn't care about anyone, not even himself.
Time passed and the city grew quite, and Alan could feel an unsettling breeze. Countless balls of lights started to rise from the entire city and filled the air. "Look out!" a voice called out to him, but before he could even find where the voice came from, the balcony collapsed beneath him and he had begun to fall.
He landed hard on the rooftop of the nearest building, and pain shot through his entire body. Alan gained his ground and turned around to see his collapsing home being covered by a swarm of black creatures. They're yellow eyes fixated on him, and they leaped towards him in a flurry of darkness.
A bright flash of light scattered the creatures away from Alan. He felt a tug on the back of his shirt and realized that he was being carried through the air. The man holding him was jumping from rooftop to rooftop following the orbs of light that were all soaring toward the same direction.
Alan watched in awe at the mysterious dark creatures following them, while he was wondering what the heck was going on? The man jumped from one of the rooftops down to the enormous freeway, that ran through the city, and started running at an incredible speed. He was joined by a girl who quickly turned to confront the creatures. She fought with a strange looking weapon, and with each swing the dark creatures dispersed into a cloud of black smoke and vanished into nothingness. "Whoa..." Alan spoke in pure awe , "Don't talk you'll bite your tongue." The man warned him but he didn't really seem to concerned. Alan noticed that he also carried a strange looking weapon, "Noticed it huh?" the man asked in a know-it-all manner.
He released him and held the weapon for him to see, "It's called a Keyblade. It allows us to fight the Heartless."
"Heartless?" Alan asked.
"Those creatures you saw back there. Remember? Geez your dense."
"...Keyblade?" Alan was having a hard time processing the information. He kept saying the same things in his head, this isn't real right? this is all just a dream right? this kinda stuff cant happen to someone in real life right? Right?
An elderly man was walking towards them, and he was joined by the girl Alan had seen earlier. He noticed Alan and asked the man something with his expression and he shrugged in reply. His voice carried an essence of vast wisdom, "The Keyblade is a weapon of light. It was created in order to destroy all those who dare to defile the sanctity of Kingdom Hearts."
The man had walked past him and called upon his own Keyblade, and stared at it with a glimpse of sadness in his eyes. A moments reprieve never lasts long and neither did this one. A horde of Heartless had surround them, and waited to make their move, "Isaac! Mina! Lets be quick about this!" the man ordered. They both nodded in reply and charged at the enemy.
"My name is Thomas", the man had introduced himself with a bow, "you need to defend yourself, here take this." He handed him a wooden sword and went to face the horde. Alan was stunned. He didn't know what to do. All of a sudden his home was destroyed by strange creatures called Heartless, balls of light were flying through the air, and now some old man wants him to defend himself with a stick?! This is ridiculous, he thought to himself. A few feet away from him a small Heartless sat glaring at him. Alan was confused, he was frustrated, he was mad. He couldn't understand why, but he felt so angry just looking at the Heartless. Like a fire was burning in his heart, wanting nothing more than to make it disappear!
He gripped the sword tightly and charged ahead, the Heartless charged as well. Alan raised his sword and brought it down full swing, feeling it hit its mark.
Thomas, Mina, and Isaac witnessed a pillar of light erupt from the ground, and expand over the entire horde, blinding everything in sight with its radiance.

Chapter III: Keyblade
The tallest structure in the Sleeping City resembled a mountain made up of skyscrapers. Riverd and the two girls appeared at the highest point of the structure.
Elsie starred at the starry sky, captivated by the breathtaking view. Ceseal whistled at the view of the entire city from the rooftops edge, and as for Riverd, he was staring intently at the moon, almost mesmerized by it. He summoned a broad sword like Keyblade covered in wrappings and thrusted it into the roofs surface. "Obelisk! Feast upon the hearts of this lightless city!"
Obelisk made a somewhat rumbling sound that made the entire building shiver from the force. A violent violet aura enveloped the Keyblade, and filled the air with an unsettling breeze.
Orbs of light rose from the city as it grew quiet. Countless lights. Countless hearts. Riverd, enveloped by the aura, spred his arms wide and basked in the glory of the ritual.
"The Heartless are coming..." Ceseal muttered. Elsie looked into the distance and saw the encroaching darkness, "Any Nobodies?" she asked her sister, "Nope. They're to smart to come here."
The girls
