Sora dose not suck man! he is just a naive 14 year old boy who goal is to save his friend and kick heartless butt! And beside! if he try he would have been killed.

I say wait for the english version since it will have more to offer than the japanese version.

I'm guessing the reason why he looks like Sora is because, 1.young Sora heart fused with Ven giving Vanitus his apperise. 2.He could have had Ven face but chose Sora's. 3.Sorry if I get this wrong but maybe he was trying to frame him for future reference.
