So news is Versus won't be making an appearance at this years TGS. But will make one sometime next year in some form.. So I'm guessing we really won't be getting our hands on Versus til the end of 2013 or the beginning/middle of 2014. I'm only guessing here seeing how the PS3's lifecycle is drawing to a close and next gen specs and hardware are already in development and are likely to release towards the end of 2013. (oh and thanks staff for being snobs over posting things you missed on forum)

As for Lightning Returns, it actually seems like a real Final Fantasy game. It's open world finally, but interestingly enough it is supposedly going to play like KH opposed to being turn based. Only thing is there's a time restraint much like Majora's Mask where you must save the world in 13 days and using too much of a powerful attack or the monorail system to traverse can speed up the end of the world. The trilogy is all over the place, literally. So I really don't care too much about what happened in XIII-2 I just want to play a good FF game this time around. Seems promising, waiting until some gameplay surfaces to make true judgement.

It's just a thought and observation, not a theory. Luckily it lead to what's already been confirmed. That's the point of this website, to learn about KH through it. Cause I read through the hell that is the gamefaqs page for KH and its a headache as is, must've missed it but who cares, least I know now what I didnt know then (: Good day. -
KH3D After experiencing the DDD demo ..
chrissk08 replied to animemylove's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I got the hang of it after 3 playthroughs, but it needs a bit of cleaning up cause it gets too crazy at times. hopefully if its reintroduced in KH3 it'll be more refined and mellow but not too mellow, and at least optional for usage. But overall, I love the mechanic. -

Well as of KH3D he is free to have a heart of his own. But no, Sora carries his and Ven's heart, so certain traits went into Roxas when they became nobodies. makes sense. -

Some people keep saying Roxas is Sora's nobody and others say Roxas was Ven's. I'd like to put it to rest and hopefully I'm right. Roxas is a shared nobody of both Sora and Ventus in a sense. While he carries the appearance of Ven he has the stance of Sora. If he was truly Ven's nobody, he'd carry his keyblade in the same manner and if he was just Sora's nobody alone he'd look and talk like Sora. Stance is key simply because when Axel was Lea and even when Xigbar was Braig they both kept their stances when they became nobodies. Plus Roxas shares Sora's memories and could feel Ven in Castle Oblivion. Even if it's a connection through Sora it's possible they still share Roxas as a nobody. Just a thought. -
It takes place in "New Shanghai", a nation broke off from Eastern China completely in 2023.The year is 2025 and no, technology has not advanced to its full capacity while there are a number of honorable mentions. The economy since present day Shanghai have soared exponentially, deception and violence are its own economies next to this one, now fully realized as one by the People's Republic of China (PRC). Shanghai being one of the largest and least violent cities of China has turned into an underground war zone consisting of business and blood. Four years prior to this establishment came one of the biggest drug traffic cases to ever hit the city since 2007. 6 months later three crime syndicates migrate closer to the Central Police Force (CPF) as if playing a game of chess, and they just declared checkmate. The Shanghai Massacre of 2021 had taken place. Between 2021 and 2024, two new organizations are formed. First being (NSCTF) New Shanghai City Task Force, a powerful branch of justice working to restore the city, and its established itself as a singular government for domestic violence. Consisting of a strict and strategic crime dictation, with surviving members spanning from CPF to the elite units that came from Japan known as Soldier Shoguns, victims of hypervigilance, and held the perfect disconnection to be numb an continuously aware at all times. The second being an underground order of antiheroes. Some once members of the task force, some warriors come to find redemption. There isn't an exact number as of yet, but the protagonist is #7 of this group, and every number has it's significance. They work to succeed in theRemovalist Agenda, to extract every corrupt head of these united syndicates under their own terms. Those who left the task force left for a reason, whether it be a corrupt system or a secret they've uncovered in the NSCTF that may be the key to why the Shanghai Massacre took place. #7 (we'll call the protagonist for now) is in the middle of all this with a dark past of his own. He's no relentless killer even if he is part of a group on par to the united syndicates when it comes to violence. Let's just say a form of existentialism comes into play with his characteristics. He's inspired by Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop when it comes to correspondence at least. #7 exclusively relies on his sword, pistols and bare hands in an exquisite blend of combinations, trained by his predecessors to master multiple forms including Krav Maga, Wing Chun, and Jeet Kune Do. A possible plot device for the latter parts of the story would have to be his sword, unknown to him is the Honjo Masamune. A legendary lost sword made by Masamune Okazaki lost to the sands of time. #7 carries a CZ 75 and the Kimber Gold Match II as signature pistols. He also rides a Honda CX500 1978 and possibly a spaceship like the Swordfish II from CB.
