Try living in Cheshire, England. My GOD, does it rain. It practically never stops here- even in the summer, where there's the added bonus of it being insufferably humid, too. Just count yourself lucky that hopefully the bad weather at your end will end!
-
Zexion paused for a moment, slowing pace a little as he shifted the book in his arms uncomfortably. He seemed to be about to reply, but hesisted and said, instead; "Hollow Bastion. It used to be a fully fledged world, and now is more of a shell." He bit his lip for a brief moment, guilt seeming to flicker over his face for a moment- but it was quickly gone. He added, almost as an afterthought; "A lot of Heartless loiter there, but they won't bother us inside the castle, which is where we're going today. The Superior wants details about the interior- you know, just basics, the state of it, etcetera- even you shouldn't find it too taxing, since we haven't been instructed to look for anything in particular." Falling back into step with Roxas during his explanation, Zexion seemed to be losing some of that tension and snotty superiority- he supposed the angrier he was (ahem, not, of course, that he could feel anger) the older he behaved- when he had nothing particularly to irritate him, he defrosted a little. Not much, of course, he hardly skipped down the hallway or started gushing like a fool, but there was at least a slight improvement. He didn't even acknowledge Saix when he passed him, close to the dark corridor- after all, the man was a lower rank than he was, and STILL looked down on him. Zexion could obviously make dark portals by himself, but it was convenient when someone else saved him the trouble.
-
Zexion scowled, slamming the book in his hands shut. But, despite the initial snap of movement and the defensive hint to his posture, his voice was utterly calm again, no ice or anger to it at all. He only sounded bored, as irritated as he looked. "I'm perfectly entitled to speak to you and treat you as I please- Keyblade weilder or not, if you're considered a student, I'm able to discipline you all I want. Just come along, I expect Saix has a corridor set up already. Oh, and XIII, watch where you're going; you don't want to fall in Mar-" He cleared his throat- "-ah, XI's lap, now, do you?"
-
"Excuse me?" Zexion's voice, embarrasingly, nearly cracked in surprise; however, he managed to compose himself and, after a brief moment, strode after the younger Nobody. He didn't particularly want to rant, for worry of sounding like- he shuddered at the thought- Vexen, but the words almost tore out of him all of their own accord- harshly spoken, although there was a frosty edge to them that made sure he was nowhere near shouting; it was a forced calm, hissed through gritted teeth, but it was subdued nonetheless. "I am number VI, far superior to you, XIII and you will show me some respect! All you are is a foolish little- little... neophyte!" Oh god, he'd said it. Let the wrinkles and haughty mannerisms come. He cleared his throat, and in order to busy himself, opened his book and pretended to suddenly become engrossed at the first page he came to. Zexion allowed the facade to pass for a few moments, and even when he did speak didn't look up. "...Er. However... I... the mission is a must, obviously. Perhaps you can actually learn some manners there..."
-
(Ha, we're probably going to have to mess with the timeline anyway- since otherwise Roxas would still just be starting to develop as the Castle Oblivion lot left...) Zexion didn't attempt to grace Roxas with any sort of reply for a moment- he'd been taught as a child (no, wait, that was Ienzo, of course it had been Ienzo) not to interrupt others- and, although he chose to do just that to Vexen, it was to deliberately rile him; he supposed, had he a heart, Vexen's ranting and overreactions to his every lack of manners would have been amusing. But still, some small part of him aprreciated the politeness of the younger Nobody's offer to help him up- but he didnt take up the offer. After all, he was hardly an old man- he was perfectly able to get out of a chair by himself. Which was why he pushed himself to his feet of his own volition, glancing blankly at Roxas' hand for a momemt before actually deigning to answer. "I've been here since the Organisation formed," he said, quite curtly, "I've lost count over the years. And, from what I was told, XIII, it hardly seems to matter just how many recon missions you've been assigned, since your results were... lacking. Then again, that hardly surprises me if it was Vexen of all people who taught you- I imagine all he did was screech about how you were doing it all wrong, hm?"
-
When Roxas finally reached him, Zexion had to look up at him, as he'd chosen to stay sitting down. It irked a little how, from this angle, even Roxas seemed physically superior to him. Fine, he knew from past experience and observation that the blond was at least three or four inches shorter than him; and younger, too, that was also true. But it still annoyed him to be made to feel small; since he was often mocked for his size and age by the other members- ranging from idiotic nicknames related to his lack of height from Xigbar, to near-constant taunting from that damned Larxene- no, XII, he corrected himself even as the thought crossed his mind. Still, he supressed his niggling annoyances and didn't move. "...Of course. Your second time attempting recon, is it not?" he replied slowly, half-heartedly; not that he had a heart to give half of in the first place. He barely permitted time for an answer before he tugged the volume off his lap, turning it and holding it out with one hand, practically pushing it into Roxas' stomach. "Regardless, I expect you've never read this. And you're even less likely to understand it. But, XIII..." He allowed himself to look vaguely, boredly interested. "Would emotions ever really affect someone so much they might continue to strive for something, knowing they might be destroyed? Hatred so intense, I wouldn't... couldn't even imagine. No one else seems able to remember, and although I've heard you apparently have very little memory..." Zexion sighed, hugging the book against his chest. "Forgive me, I'm probably confusing you, XIII. Matters of heart and emotion are things Nobodies can't understand- memories are next to useless, since they can't make you actually feel..." He trailed off, tucking a stray strand of blue-grey hair behind his ear- well, the ear that was actually visible.

Standard practise here- this is a 1x1, so only Hige Unari and I can post, although if you're passing through you're welcome to read if you want. I'm pretty much just gonna start right away. [/shot] ________________________________________________ Zexion had carried very little belongings over from his past life, from when he was real- he'd had very little to cherish or value, and had discarded most of the things he'd recieved while in the old fool "Wise" Ansem's care. Well, all but one. Typically, a book- an old favourite. But now it only served to frustrate him; or, at least, the closest he ever got to frustration when he couldn't feel anything at all. It made no logical sense, talking of temptation and rage and emotions, things he could no longer understand from anything other than a scientific, observational perspective. And, oh, Ienzo had adored Paradise Lost, but it continued to elude him no matter how many times he reread it. It became somewhat of an obsession, and, so far, he'd been unable to find an explanation for it from any of the other members of the Organisation, the only remotely intelligent Nobodies he knew (well, he had his doubts about Demyx, sometimes, but his overemotional, cheery persona was merely a well-played act, it turned out) beyond the usual dull "we need hearts to understand". Of course he already understood that. He didn't need to be told such an obvious fact- but he supposed some small part of him had been hoping for more, for a real response. All he seemed to be able to derive from the old book was that emotions made some people fools- and he'd learned that just from observing the residents of the worlds he was required to visit for missions. Still... "XIII," he called across the room- well, less of called and more of merely raised his voice slightly, sounding bored, dull. He'd chosen, for once, not to hide away in the library or his room, but to stay for at least a little while in one of the main rooms- besides the throne room, where planning was usually done, this was the only place in the castle that all of the members spent their time; and they were never all in there at once. Still, he'd managed to reside in there on a day where the newest member of their group had apparently had the same vague idea for company. Zexion glanced around the room for a moment, flicking impatiently at the slate-grey strands that for a moment threatened to cover both his eyes at the movement. He payed no attention to Marluxia, seemingly sharpening his scythe in the corner, and instead fixed his gaze on the blond Nobody, who was closer anyway. And it wasn't like he was going to bother with Marluxia's opinion; he hardly wanted it. "Over here," he waved one gloved hand impatiently, a tiny attempt to beckon the younger Nobody, the other resting the book against his knee. He didn't choose to elaborate; after all, he hadn't bothered to use Roxas' name, although of course he knew it- he preferred using the ranks to refer to the other members of the Organisation- or rather, those below him in the Organisation. It would probably be pointless, utterly so; but still, he hadn't asked number XIII about his great mystery just yet. He hadn't particularly found the chance or the motivation to so far, but Saix had warned him not to be too dismissive of Roxas, considering he planned on Zexion accompanying him for more than just that one training lesson- Vexen had made a mess of the boy's attempts to perform recon, and it was being passed down to him to fix it. So this was just his way of testing the new boy. One little test. (...I swear it didn't look this long when I first started typing... [/shot])

Ugh. Grammar and spelling, I cannot stress this enough. For starts, you've screwed up basic grammar rules taught at a rudimentary level- starting each line or sentence with a capital letter (although I can't actually tell what this is supposed to be; it's just a few random lines of ranting, seemingly) and "I" NEVER is left lower case. "il" is I'LL, dear lord, I don't know why you would write the damn word so often if you can't spell it. Just... ngh. Please, try and improve before you spam up the section with stuff like this.

The original Dissidia was set in the 13th cycle of the ongoing war. The 012 references the fact Dissidia Duodecim is set as a prequel, during the 12th cycle.

Don't insult the gays of the population with that comparison. Unless, of course, you intend to imply that he is a meat dish or a bundle of sticks, or a cigarette, which would at least make you sound slightly less prejudiced. That is all. <3

Please, please at least make an attempt to type properly. At the moment, I can hardly read your posts and the pure horror that it your spelling, I... wow. Just wow. The fact you're young does not excuse it. I could type and spell correctly when I was ten. I could do that from when I was about SIX, apart from harder words (I didn't get necessary for quite a while, for example). And if you are "a A+", I'm actually stunned at the poor quality writing an A+ seems to be these days, then. Just... try and improve, and don't start screaming and raging whenever anyone questions or challenges you. It's only for the best.

Ugh. Not every non-heterosexual person in the world is out to molest and convert you. You're probably overreacting because you're scared of his bisexuality. I flirt and muck about with my friends all the time- stuff worse than that- and they know I'd never make a real move on them. He's probably just picking up on how freaked you get and carrying on because it's funny. Tell him, if it bothers you THAT much, to seriously stop because you don't feel comfortable with touching and stuff, and he should give it a rest. Seriously, most of the guys I know are touchy feely with each other like that and crack jokes just like that- and they're STRAIGHT. It's just for fun.

The flailing when she's shot... it's just beautiful. And I just love how she glances down whilst dying to make sure she'll land on the safety mat. OMFG THO THAT WUZ SO REALISSSTIC. 8'DDD

Is being Gay/Bi a choice or are you born with it?
Rosie replied to Amon's topic in General Discussion
Okay, first off, trisexual isn't a term in that sense. Animals don't count as another sex, so to speak- being sexually attracted to them is more of beastality. And I honestly don't think it's a conscious choice, not at all. You don't suddenly decide you feel like being gay, or bi, just for the sake of it. I think I read something from Maureen Johnson a few weeks ago that just spoke volumes. She said something along the lines of homosexuality (along with everything aside of heterosexuality) not really being a choice, but not a biological problem like people suggested when she said that- she said that it was a flaw in the way that being straight is a flaw, or tall, or short or blonde or brunette... In the way it was genetic, natural. And then it was something along the lines of being gay not being a choice, but that being homophobic was, and that it was a bad one. I love her, really, because she voiced my entire viewpoint.<3 -
(Juuuust literally jumping right in, if that's okay... Dx ) It was just his luck, really. Not only had he been unceremoniously and rudely snatched and dumped back where he was in Chaos' proverbial clutches, but Noctis hadn't just been left to explain himself- no, he'd woken up alone with a pounding head and an odd tightness in his chest- he'd ended up stumbling through the dark like a drunkard until he reached, well... whatever the hell this place was, in time to just catch the last snatches of conversation. He misjudged his footing and nearly tripped, but was able to regain his composure quite well for a young man so dishevelled- he didnt realise it himself, of course he hadnt noticed, but he already looked messier, rougher- he could only remember waking up and not much beyond that, and he tried to push those trivoloties out of the way so he could think. "And what evidence do you have of him being a traitor, Vayne?" Excellent. That air to his voice was back, the superiority he'd previously abandoned. It was more of a patrionising tone than a noble one, not that he minded that too much. "Your word. And I say he isnt a traitor, that we discussed nothing as such. Perhaps you're simply laying the blame- what proof do you have besides what you claim to have heard, hm?" Chaos didn't even spare him a glance, the bastard, but Noctis tried not to let that affect his argument, pieced together and suddenly improvised as it was.

I have a soft spot for Dengeki Daisy. http://manga.animea.net/dengeki-daisy.html It's very cute, and very funny, and is still ongoing. It's got a few twists, and develops pretty well. And, by extension, there's also Beast Master by the same mangaka- ( http://manga.animea.net/beast-master.html ) it's equally cute and silly and often equally sad, but that one has a little more gore to it and... well, the representation of the love interest might be uncomfortable in some bits, but it's lovely at the end. That one's shorter, and all finished.

can anyone remember "the bouncer"?
Rosie replied to Iamkingdomhearts1000's topic in General Discussion
I only played it because I thought Sion was sexy. [/shot] But it was pretty cute, if very, VERY short. I finished all three playthroughs in a day. Sadly, good quality cutscenes of it are few and far between so I've never been able to edit with it. -
Snow, because he's sexy. And, c'mon, we'd get "SOOOOORAAAAA" instead of "SERAHHHHHHHHH!" every five minutes. And, uhm, Yuna's FFX-2 outfit "isn't that revealing"? Her shorts are tiny and literally barely cover her ass, her shirt is cut open at the front, and the Jecht symbol thing that Tidus had on a pendant and on his pants in the original is the only thing stopping her top from flashing her chest all the time. Then again, next to Rikku's bikini and teeny tiny miniskirt and Paine's fetish fuel leather, she's practically modest. And even LIGHTNING might need some costume adjustment if she was in KH. Her skirt is just as short as Rikku's- and although she's wearing shorts underneath she shows an awful lot of leg.

...What's a frined? [/shot]

Just cause he's bi (unless I have it wrong and he's sexually attracted to smelly biology things or biological washing powder) doesn't necessarily mean he'll randomly hit on you, especially end up kissing you. Just drop hints about girls and assert your straightness, so to speak- he should get the message. I mean, being bi doesn't make that much of a difference- you arent just depraved and desperate and attempt to make out with anything that moves. It works the same way as with heterosexual relationships- if you show no interest, he probably wont try anything.

([/shot] I totally, totally lost my stuff AGAIN. I'll just lie low for a bit, then. I'm really sorry, I would warn you if I knew when my parents were going to flip.)
-
Ha, I love how in October I was all "lolol I'm totally straight guys". Ohhh, how times change. xDD Shortly after that, I... started questioning. Just a little. And now I'm pretty sure I'm bi- as in, I'm just as attracted to both genders. It was just a case of meeting the right people, I think... But it's nice to know that even last year I was still a supporter, I guess. <33

No real porn will come up. Youtube flags stuff like that and takes it down. Anything genuine gets pulled from the site, I'm sure- and, um... yeah, it's your room, but you still share a house with the rest of your family and anyone could just walk in. At least put underwear on.

Why the Kingdom Hearts cosplay players are girls instead of boy?
Rosie replied to lockergnome's topic in General Discussion
Yeahhh, this topic is totally over, but I'm kind of reviving it to point out that yesterday, (at one of the only UK cons) there were a LOT of guys. As in, nearly half the cosplayers were dudes. Including one dressed as Belle. Image. Burned. Into. My. Mind. But, yeah, from what I saw, there were a lot of crossplaying girls, but just as many guys. And a few playing crossgender. And the Cloud thing mentioned earlier is pretty accurate- it applies to a lot of the FF guys, really. Like Snow. Buh. The guy who was Snow yesterday was AMAZING. <33 -
Rugrats Studio Tour, or Rugrats Totally Angelica. AMAZING, INORITE. And then I moved onto Ape Escape 2 when we got a PS2. <333
