The protagonists of this story are Sora and Riku--in order to prepare for the coming battle against the darkness, they must take the Mark of Mastery exam. To pass the test, they must release the seven worlds of sleep from their slumber and gain new powers through their journey! The two of them journey to the sleeping Disney worlds.

They depart to the seven sleeping Disney worlds!!

Traverse Town

[KH] series originally

An old world from the series provides the start of a new adventure!

This is the town where all adventurers begin their journeys. You'll meet the cast of the Nintendo DS game [The World Ends With You] and learn about their game of fates.

(^) Neku, Joshua, Rhyme, Beat, and Shiki appear! There's talk of someone in a black coat, too.

Symphony of Sorcery

From the movie [Fantasia]

In this world, Mickey Mouse is in training as a magician's apprentice.

This world sets the stage before Mickey ever wielded a keyblade, when he was an apprentice under Yen Sid. Mickey is caught up in the darkness overflowing from the sheet music.

(^) An episode unfolds showing Mickey before he became the King of Disney Castle. What kind of story will we hear?

La Cite des Cloches

From the movie [Hunchback of Notre Dame]

A series of meetings opens Quasimodo's closed heart.

It is said that the safest place in the city is the cathedral, and Quasimodo has never set foot into the city before. One day, a festival comes to the plaza, and he courageously tries to go outside, but...

(^) Quasimodo meets Esmerelda, a freedom-loving dancer, and she leaves a lasting impact on him.

The Grid

From the movie [Tron Legacy]

There's trouble in the digital world again!? The formidable Rinzler is waiting for you!

The world of Sora's old friend, “Tron.” He hoped to meet him again, but Tron is being controlled by someone and has now become “Rinzler.” Can Sora save him?

(^) Chase after the truth of this world with Sam, Quorra, and Kevin, who created this cyber-world, [The Grid].

Clearing up the important points of the three productions!

Everyone has high hopes for this production, which is an important title that will tie together the [KH] series so far with the newest game in the series, [KHIII]. Let's check out the latest information related to these three productions.

Create reality shifts!

(^) You can interact with the field and enemies during battles with reality shifts. Send back some powerful attacks!

SYSTEM Use a diverse style of attacks!

In [KHDDD HD], besides just using the drop system to switch playing between Sora and Riku, you can unlock the delight of caring for and battling alongside the Spirits. The action is speedy, and it is made so that you can enjoy a high-level attack system.

Push forward by controlling both Sora and Riku

(>) You can change the character you're playing with the drop system, so you can play both Sora and Riku's stories alongside one another. The drop time can be modified, and it is set to twenty minutes.

Move quickly with freeflow action

(>) You can do speedy actions like gliding on handrails, kicking against walls, and swinging around on poles. We're happy that you can also perform this kind of stuff in combat, too.

Care for your Spirits

(<) You can make new friends with the magical beings called Spirits. They're newly born, and you can play with them via the touchpad!

Destroy enemies in one blow with a link attack!

(^) Once the Spirit you're battling with has maxed out its link gauge, you can do link attacks with it. Riku takes the power of the Spirits into his own body, which can change his battle style.

Riku

A wielder of the keyblade who always worries about Sora and fights alongside him. He aims to become a keyblade master, and he joins Sora on a new adventure.

Prankster's Paradise

From the movie [Pinocchio]

Something unusual happens to Pinocchio as he falls in love with the circus!

“Pinocchio” is a wooden puppet who received life from a fairy. He was lured out by a man in a black coat, then stepped foot into a suspicious circus. There, he grew donkey ears, as well as a tail!

(^) Whenever he tells a lie, his nose grows, and flowers started to grow on it. Is he returning to his old wooden body?

Country of the Musketeers

From the movie [The Three Musketeers]

The three join together as the Musketeers and try to solve the troubles of the town

Mickey, Donald, and Goofy lived in this world before meeting Sora. He becomes friends with the three as they train to be Musketeers, and he helps them with their duties, but...

(^) In order to protect Princess Minnie from the assassin after her life, Sora joins forces with these three and fights back.

Unknown

???

The men in the black coats appear before Sora and Riku! The truth becomes clear!!

While journeying to worlds all over, Sora and Riku are constantly blocked by mysterious men in black coats. They also must occasionally fight against them. While in the middle of their Mark of Mastery exam, they will be swallowed by the storm of fate...

(^) A young Xehanort, and Vanitas, too. What are they doing in the seven sleeping worlds? Upon knowing their plan, a new destiny will begin to form!

Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep - Fragmentary Passage-

Adventure through a world similar to “Enchanted Dominion”

(The text here is too small. I can only assume it's a summary of the game.)

Aqua

A young woman who is a Keyblade Master. In order to save her friends, she fell into the darkness, and she has wandered ever since... Making use of her swift, beautiful form, you'll unfold a battle with attacks using incredibly powerful magic.

PICK UP

What awaits Aqua on the path ahead is...

As she passes through the Realm of Darkness, scenery encompassed in huge thorns spreads before Aqua. It looks to be the same as the world, “Enchanted Dominion” (from Sleeping Beauty). She then sees Terra and Ven from behind and chases after them, but...

(^) Thorns that block the way come up when you try to go through the forest!? If you touch them, they'll hurt you, but...!?

(^) From far away, you can see a figure resembling Darkside! Its expressive power has increased, and it can see far across this world.

(<) As if to stop her from moving forward, gigantic thorns rise up to block Aqua's path.

(^) Though they shouldn't be there, she sees these two in the forest. Is this an illusion Aqua's mind created, or is it...!?

Mickey Mouse (The King)

He is the King of Disney Castle and is one of the Keyblade Masters. In the Realm of Darkness, he met Aqua and mentions it in passing. Upon learning of that time, will an unexpected new truth become clear?

Title 03

Kingdom Hearts Back Cover

Let's check out the major characters who tie the story together!

[KH Back Cover] is a brand-new HD theatrical product showing the mysterious story of the Foretellers from the smartphone application game [KH Unchained X]. With the stage set as the oldest era in the series, an important short story will develop for the [KH] story going forward.

There is a traitor among the five Foretellers!?

The story unfolds around the five Foretellers, who each command groups called “unions.” A rumor that “there is a traitor among us” spreads, and the balance between them is thrown into disarray in a cloud of doubt.

(^) He gives a test to the six Foretellers, but he also seems to be testing their strength? The Master's will is something of concern, too.

Aced

Union: Ursus

A man with a daring personality who wears a bear mask. He is too obsessed with power, as it is the basis of his self-righteousness, and he shows his emotions in a reckless manner. He even confronts his comrades sometimes?

(^) Is he the quick-to-anger type? He seems to be the most upset upon learning of the “traitor.”

Master of Masters

The leader of the Foretellers. We have no real sense of his personality, and no one can really judge whether his offbeat conduct is simply part of his personality, or if it is all premeditated.

Ira

Union: Unicornis

A man with a reliable personality who hides his face behind a unicorn mask. He has been teased by the Master for being too serious.

(^) Is he in the middle of researching the Heartless? There is a picture resembling DarkSide drawn on the page.

Invi

Union: Anguis

A woman with a noble personality who hides her face behind a snake mask. She puts great trust in their Master, and she works as an unwavering Foreteller for him.

(^) As she takes in the circumstances of their surroundings, does she also work to hide her true feelings? She certainly has the atmosphere of that kind of prudence.

Gula

Union: Leopardos

A man with a cool-headed personality who wears a leopard mask. He doesn't have much of a feeling of fellowship, and sometimes he shows a very individualistic side. Is he a lone-wolf type who hates getting caught up in the little stuff?

(>) There seems to be something written in the Book of Prophecies that regards the future of the worlds, but...

Ava

Union: Vulpes

A young woman with a gentle personality who wears a fox mask. She is the closest in age with the other Keyblade wielders, so she can talk to them with the feeling of friendship, too.

(<) Is there part of her that is suspicious of the Master? What kind of ending is she being used for?

Okay I know everyone's probably sick of the comparisons between the foretellers and the current keyblade wielders by now but I can't help noticing that the descriptions of the foretellers' personalities here sound rather familiar. Aced is "too obsessed with power" which is exactly how Eraqus described Terra. Invi is very loyal to her Master just as Aqua was to Eraqus and both tend to hide their true feelings. Ira is reliable and sometimes too serious which also describes Riku (especially in KH2). Ava is gentle and friendly like Kairi. Gula is possibly the odd one out as he's a loner whilst Ventus is definitely a people person. If we extend the comparison to Roxas, however, Roxas greatly valued his friendship with Axel and Xion, as well as Hayner, Pence and Olette, but there were also times when Roxas displayed a lone-wolf personality as well. Like when he stopped trusting Axel and walked out on the Organisation as well as his initial resistance to joining with Sora. Surely these aren't just coincidences?

I'm so intrigued as to why Luxu has been omitted from this. Aside from that, I'm loving the personality types each Forteller has. The Master of Masters is definitely being painted as the instigator for this whole ordeal.

Well the theory actually has Ven as Gula's counterpart, but the same can be said of him.

Has anyone noticed how for Ira and Invi's description, it's "hiding his/her face" behind their masks, and for everyone else, it's just "wears" a bear/leopard/fox mask?

Actually, Gula being related to Roxas isn't as crazy as one may assume... especially when you consider that he's his own being (aka, a "special" Nobody) despite being Sora's Nobody. Plus, if we also "assume" (and I really mean that term very loosely) that Ventus did originate from the X era, the "Reincarnation" theory is still feasible.

Roxas would only be related to Gula the same way hes related to Ven. Like you said, he's his own person, not Ventus or Sora, but he didn't exist until Sora sacrificed himself for Kairi, and thus could not have existed in any way during the era of Fairy Tales. He's a new person born in this era. As I understand it, the reincarnation theory states that the hearts of the Foretellers where reborn into new vessels in this era, meaning beings that only came into existence in this era, such as the Princesses of Heart and Nobodies can't be reincarnations of anyone from before the Keyblade War because their hearts did not exist.
