The D23 Expo Japan takes place between February 10th - 12th 2018. The official D23 Japan website has recently been updated and has confirmed that the 'Kingdom Hearts fan event' (temporary name) will take at 02:00 - 03:20am (EST) on February 10th! Sorry most of you will be in bed. Which means we don't have to wait until the end of the D23 expo for the news! In other news Disney have teased the possibility of the first Incredibles 2 trailer dropping tomorrow on their twitter account.

Yeah I feel that too to be honest because it's been in development for so long but the website all but confirms that a new world will be revealed. It says something like "what new worlds can fans expect?"

I think we may get something for Jump Festa like proper Tangled footage or maybe a first look at big hero 6 but I'm not too bothered if we don't.

In July 2017, the official Japanese Disney website confirmed that Kingdom Hearts will be making an appearance at D23 Expo Japan 2018 in the form of the Kingdom Hearts Fan Event (tentative title). D23 Expo Japan 2018 will take place from February 10th, 2018 to February 12th, 2018.

Now, the official D23 Expo Japan website has revealed the Kingdom Hearts Fan Event's date and time at D23 Expo Japan 2018. It's confirmed to be a part of the Disney Magical Theater program on Saturday, February 10th, 2018. It's planned to be from 16:00 ~ 17:20 JST, which is 11:00 PM - 12:20 AM PST, 1:00 AM - 2:20 AM CST, and 2:00 AM - 3:20 AM EST.

It's currently unknown what the Kingdom Hearts Fan Event will be about, what will be shown, and if Kingdom Hearts III will be shown or not.

Kingdom Hearts had made an appearance at D23 Expo Japan in 2015, showing off a new Kingdom Hearts III trailer and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. This event was called the Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater.

2-3:20 in the morning?! Oh hell no! I love KH, but not enough to be up that late at night. I’ll wait until the next day thanks.

Although it's not confirmed what will appear, chances are fairly high KH3 will make an appearance. The event is over an hour long and with everything else out of the way, I can't really imagine they'll spent all that time to celebrate past entries and KHUX. I mean, they could potentially fill that time effortlessly, but it's the release year of KH3. If it was still 2015 or 2016 it would be a different matter.

Let's just hope it doesn't become the disaster of the last fan event at D23. I think at this point, so close to release, exclusive info provided only to attendees should be kept to a minimum or I'll seclude myself in the mountains from the raging fans on the internet.
