Kingdom Hearts III shown at SCEJA Press Conference (with old footage)

DChiuch

Today, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan held a pre-Tokyo Game Show 2013 press conference. Here, upcoming PlayStation 4 titles were shown. Kingdom Hearts III appeared in a montage of PS4 titles, with a short clip. This clip is the same footage from E3 2013, so don't get too excited-- but it is still notable that this is the first time Kingdom Hearts III footage has been shown in Japan. You can see the clip below.

There are 9 days left until Tokyo Game Show 2013 officially begins (on September 19, 2013), where Square Enix is likely to reveal new Kingdom Hearts III information. Stay tuned!

Update: Following the official showing of the PlayStation 4 in Japan at the SCEJA Press Conference, Sony have created pages for many upcoming PlayStation 4 releases-- including Kingdom Hearts III! This page does not yet reveal any new information, but it should see updates sometime in the future. It also shows that a downloadable release, multiplayer and online support are still undecided. Again, no new information or confirmation either way, but it is better than nothing! Thanks go to @aibo_ac7 for the find.

It won't be. That'd be way too early.

I need new info on KH3!!!  I've read every interview of Nomura since KH3's announcement, and I want to know new things like worlds!!!!  I'm desperately hoping that Treasure Planet, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Pocahontas, and a few other of those films get made into worlds for KH3!!! D:

Sorry, I tried to avoid that by including "with old footage" in the title.

Fool. Ha, why doesn't the firetruck work when you're quoting someone?

And was KH3 really announced in the U.S. before Japan?

Yes, or we would have gotten a notice on this site about KH3 being announced before E3. Which we didn't.

It's because the wordfilter doesn't apply to Admins :P

KH3 was announced at E3 2013 with the E3 2013 trailer + press releases in USA, and also announced in Japan via press releases on the same day. They only announced it though, with some screenshots I think... they hadn't shown the trailer in Japan until now.
