HD 2.5 ReMIX to contain Kingdom Hearts II, Birth by Sleep & coded

okay my theory is kh hd 1.5 =2013 kh2.5=2014 kh3=2015 obvious it is like a ps3 exclusive remake series so it feels like kingdom hearts (kh3) was meant for the ps3

Total lie. BBS does have online, there are even videos of it. There is also the fact that PSP games are extremely easy to port to PS3. Its almost like they were built to be ported. The perfect example is Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. Its a masterful PSP to PS3 port and is only hindered by blurry textures but that doesn't matter because Peace Walker didn't look that good normally. BBS actually does look good, better then KH2 at times.

Partial lie... BBS was designed only for ad-hoc multiplayer. You can make it work online but the actual game wasn't designed to be played like that. It's like using Hamachi to play pirated games online: you shouldn't be able to but you can... Also, some 3DS games are being ported over to ps3/360 now. Eg: Resident Evil Revelations.

No, it uses the PS3 ad-hoc method of using your PS3's wifi to get full online. Peace Walker does the exact same thing and the HD port of that has perfectly normal online play like any other game. Considering how much effort they put into 1.5, if they just got lazy with 2.5 it would look really bad on them.

Why would they include a brand new game in 2.5? I mean yes by the time this is released it will have been out for almost 2 years but it's on very popular handheld system, not a dead one like birth by sleep....

Irrelevant. Not every KH fan owns a 3DS (I don't) but I'd bet most of them own a Playstation.Also, it didn't stop Capcom from releasing their 3DS game RE Revelations on PS3/Xbox360 (and standalone, to boot!)... :PIt doesn't matter that the title is recent and that the 3DS is not a dead platform...the market for a console port is still there.I still think that KH3D is gonna be released in some form. Possibly they'll make it a standalone release as well...who knows. I kinda had the feeling it'd be a little to utopian to have *four* titles in one collection...

Coded's a waste though. wonder how they'll pull it off.

probably the same way they did 358/2 days. due to the drastic difference in engine capabilities of the DS and PS3, it will again be easier to make the DS game into cutscenes. And to be honest, it might end up being better than the game in the first place...

As for why DDD isnt in it, there are only a couple possible reasons I can think of:

1. its too new. Its only been out for a year in japan, only 8 months in other regions

2. they need more time to figure out the touch screen transition, since the PS3 obviously does not have one.

Its not an issue port over games from the 3DS, as mentioned above, Resident Evil Revelations is in that process now. The difference between DS and 3DS is greater than people realize, considering the 3DS can utilize game engines that are equal to and more powerful than those on both the PSP and PS2. So its just a coding architecture change for PS3, and remaster of graphics. The 3D can even be kept since PS3 can have 3D. 

Honestly I just think the game is too new.

Expected the exact line-up.

Kingdom Heart 2 Final Mix and Birth by Sleep Final Mix are gonna be games and Re:Coded is just going to be a bunch of cutscenes. Which is weird because how Coded barely had a story...

And KH2FM it's not that new to me, but it still will be awesome on the PS3 ;D

KH2 and BBS to be Final Mixes, while Re:Coded will be HD and Additional cutscenes.

Maybe we might get KH3D cutscenes in HD if Squenix is generous enough to include it in.

I may have to guess that Re: Coded not going to be playable just like 358/2 Days? And yeah Final Mix 2 is going to be there along with BBS Final Mix. I'm also guessing Dream Drop Distance isn't going to be on 2.5 HD Remix because its up-to-date (I guess...) with the quality and plus DDD explains every thing of whats has happen in the previous Kingdom Hearts games? I don't know why but that secret message from DDD is in my mind right now (despite I have the game now and I haven't played it yet and I've only seen the English gameplay and cutscenes)... I know the secret message is involving 3 but something tells me there is more of what they are doing when it comes to making 1.5 and 2.5 HD Remix other than just HD-ing the old games.

I'll pull another random guess out of my butt:KH3D gets a Final Mix version and it will be exclusive to the HD consoles (standalone retail release), giving people who don't own a 3DS a chance to play it on home consoles and owners of the 3DS version even more of an incentive to buy it again....at least, that's how I'd do it.

I'm personally starting to think coded might actually be playable for this one. It's story isn't really the greatest in kh and not nearly as much happens as in days. If they were to do it in the same format as the days scenes it would be a loooot shorter. Though, due to time  chance of it just  being cutscenes.

Seems a bit early. I personally think it'll get it's trailer at TGS (same as 1.5) but E3 could happen.

This is a good idea! I think that would make a lot of sense. Gives it more time as a newer game, and also gives SE time to figure out how to move over the touchscreen functions to a console without a touchscreen (unless they release it on playstation 3/4 and wii u). Cool thinking!

3d as a remaster by itself? i doubt that...since it would remain awesome as it is with the 3ds. i mean, the touch screen reality shifts were very creative. and it would tkae the fun out of it all. so the first one you suggested would be more likely. and i think i heard somewhere about nomura going to remake 358/2 completely including gameplay after kh 3 is done...
