Kingdom Hearts 3D details from Siliconera

DChiuch

Siliconera have posted an article about Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Thanks to KH13's Pandora333 for the find. They have provided some analysis of the recent news from Famitsu Weekly magazine and Square Enix's Jump Festa 2012 website, showing the same screenshot's from the latter and giving the following information:

In past Kingdom Hearts game Jiminy Cricket’s job was to chronicle Sora’s adventures. He has a different role in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Riku will find Jiminy Cricket in Prankster’s Paradise, Pinocchio’s home in the Nintendo 3DS game, taking care of Pinocchio after the Blue Fairy brings him to life.

Kingdom Hearts 3D uses the deck command system introduced in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Each move has cooldown time and the game cycles through special attacks and spells after you use them. As seen in these screenshots, Sora has Ice Breaker as one of his commands. Riku has Dark Breaker and Blizzaga. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is slated for a spring release in Japan.

That looks like a much better article. Thanks for sharing. I was pretty sure there would be deck commands because it's a DS platform. But it's nice for that to be confirmed and a bit more of a confirmation for a Spring release is also nice.

Although you're title is a bit off. I don't think you actually realise that the Jiminy Cricket in this game and the Jiminy Cricket we're familiar with are two different entities. One's a dream and one's real.

Thanks. About the title, I only did copy/paste from Siliconera. Someone should make them notice that the title is misleading.

But this Jiminy Cricket is the dream Jiminy not the real one , but still cool xD

Yeah, I know.

Nice article.

It's fine, everyone makes mistakes!

Deck commands, here we go again :)

I know, but I have to accept that the CVG article was pure garbage, but who knows, maybe the writer knows something we don't.

I'm kinda confused. If this Jiminy is just a fake, then are all the Disney characters fake too? Wasn't the point to save actual characters from the realm of sleep?
