{Mariel: Epilogue} Shortly after the restoration of the World Below, Mariel fell ill. She was feverish, delirious, and in considerable pain. Attempts to magically heal her of the affliction seemed to only strengthen it. Then, on the third day, the malady broke. Its symptoms vanished as quickly as they had come, though left her feeling strangely hollow and alone. To most concerned, she put it down as a temporal sickness from the time jump. But this is not what she feared to be true. The Sanguis Vindicta had been awoken inside her. Could she truly believe it had gone dormant again? Fearing the ancient magic within her, the Guardian Angel isolated herself. With the aid of a few she trusted, she tested herself. After several weeks of trials, the blood magic did not surface. While it still worried her, she listened to the council of others and put aside. As Mariel prepared to go to Jynn's coronation, she considered what her next move would be. The story of the Lost Legions had to return to the Hosts, but was she the right one to bring that message anymore? She had fallen to the Sanguis Vindicta on top of her disobedience eons ago. The Hosts could simply see her as a tainted and fallen angel. Would her fallen comrades be honored if she was the one testifying for their memory? Sifrei had offered to stand with her, which was a great comfort to Mariel. She wasn't sure how the Archangel's presence would influence her standing, but at least she wouldn't be alone. Though perhaps it was better to go alone. She fully expected to face some sort of judgement for what she had done. She didn't want to drag Sifrei into that as well. The debate on whether she would take Sifrei on his offer continued inside Mariel's head as she flew to Kilkis Seres on the coronation day. She had lodged far away from others, so the flight was long, but it was better for collecting her thoughts. Along the way, she came across a merchant and his family beset by bandits along the road to Kilkis Seres. Instincts kicking in, she swooped in to defend the innocent. Her duel blades flashed out, driving the bandits back. The merchant was already dead, but his wife and child remained alive. "Drop your weapons or face your judgement here where there is no mercy." She called out. "The local magistrates might cut a deal if you-" Mariel's words were cut off as an unseen archer fired. The other bandits started running again as Mariel whirled around to see the little boy struck by the arrow. At first she was shocked that they could have missed her, but realized she hadn't been the target. The bandit had shot the child as a distraction for their get away. Shot the child. Shot the child. Shotthechild. Shot. The. Child. The red haze enveloped her vision as her eyes fell on the fleeing bandits... During the coronation, the merchant's wife arrived in Kilkis Seres, carrying her child. When questioned, she spoke of a red winged angel saving her and her son's life before charging after the bandits. Sometime later, a scouting party found the site of the bandit ambush. Not far from there, they found a grizzly scene of a group of bandits hacked and torn asunder. There was no sign of the red winged angel, but among the dismembered bodies were found two angelic swords. One with a flaming blade pinned a bandit to the ground, charring the corpse. The other was found a few yards from the carnage, the blade snapped in two.

Name: Maximilian Strider, Lux Twin Nickname: Max Race: Human Age: 21 Gender: Male Height: 6'3 Appearance: Tall and toned from training and exercise, Max is a physically fit man with neck length styled dark brown hair, which while spiky, is not quite as much as Roxas's and certainly not Sora's but as such, doesn't fall into his eyes, with a short beard along his jaw, chin and upper lip. Max has a small vertical scar along the tip of his right eyebrow, just on the bottom of his forehead and through to the cheekbone and has dark green eyes. He wears a white double breasted tunic secured with a brown belt, a pair of slightly grey slacks and shin-high boots, with a black ring upon his right hand ring finger with special engravings upon it. Personality: Under the tutelage of his lost master, Maximilian has grown over the years into a well-disciplined and rightfully prideful man, aspiring to teach others should they so desire, taking after his master's personality for the most part; Being well spoken and dressed, protective of his friends, caring toward even strangers and being wary of malicious forces, though the Darkness has always been a part of his life, despite his complete focus on the Light as of late. He possesses a dry wit and the gift of the silver tongue, though even he is not immune to the teases of his technical twin sister Weiss Strider, even becoming a little riled in the face of it, but he ultimately loves her like a sister and will go to great lengths to defend her and their friends, expressing his pride at fighting by their sides openly, as a form of encouragement. History/Biography: Born and raised in a distant world, Max was once an unruly child, frequently disobeying instruction from his parents, picking fights with other kids and generally causing disruptions and small scale chaos, preferring the so-called "free life" as it were. In his pre-teens however, after a particularly bad fight with a group of tough kids went south, it was broken up by the sharp whistle from the man who would go on to become his teacher: Keyblade Master Ridley Quinn. Master Quinn saw great strength of heart within Max, but knew it needed tempering and the young boy needing to be taught discipline, aware of his parent's woes with the rebellious youth. It took some convincing, but Max eventually agreed to the training Master Quinn offered him, inside feeling he needed a figure like Quinn and beginning to take a liking to him, for his own father was hardly there, always working away from home. It took a few years, but one day, during training, Max's potential in combat shone through, having taken in some of the lessons regarding discipline and tempering his attitude, though a couple he didn't quite take to heart, becoming too prideful and power seeking after a Keyblade had finally manifested in his grasp, which allowed a darkness to fester within his unsuspecting heart. It was then that during a training session gone wrong, Max almost succumbed to it, his primal instincts almost taking over as Master Quinn resorted to drastic measures: Taking his Keyblade to Max's Heart and separating the Darkness from it, with the risk of shattering Max's heart well known, but one that needed taking. The desperate act was successful, leaving Max unconscious, but thankfully not a Heartless. However, the extracted Darkness took the form of a dark Heart and a female form coalesced around it, creating a new being, a mirror to Max, of what he would've potentially become had it not been for his Master. After a few concerning and bedridden months, Maximilian recovered and took to his training with renewed resolve, his Keyblade returning to him swiftly and the lessons taught were fully absorbed, his Light growing in strength, while his other half, dubbed Weiss, decided to partake in the training as well, both of them proving to be powerful Keyblade Wielders. However, one day, Master Quinn went missing. No one had seen him leave, nor could they help the Strider Twins. Seeking their old Master and a new life, Max and Weiss departed from their world together. Powers and Abilities: Max's heart of pure Light means channeling the force itself comes to him easily, meaning he got to grips with spells like Faith, Salvation and Holy fairly quickly, amongst other basic Light attacks like generic beams and orbs, though he can also create blade-like Light constructs that can fulfill a few purposes: Summoned broadswords that stack in two rows of four, one to his left and the other to his right, to be fired directly at the target in rapid, blistering succession. Keyblade-like blades that spin around him before erupting into several beams of light in a circle around him for a few seconds or three that can be thrown into the ground to create semi-homing Raging Storm fire pillars. Max has also learned how to channel Thunder magic in a unique form: Focused arcs of Lightning directly from his fingers, to stun and harm opponents or knockback weaker, unprepared ones. Primarily however, Maximilian focuses on his swordsmanship with his Keyblade, able to duel one-on-one to an expert level, protect himself with guard or well-timed parries then follow up with a brutal counterattack, switch combat styles from a defensive, refined and slower stance to an aggressive, unrelenting and faster stance at a whim, sometimes enhancing his strikes with various magics to bring the pain on the last hit. Keyblades/Other Weapons: Elegant Execution - A primarily white and gold Keyblade with a unique curved hilt and only one, simple handguard, rather than the standard two, where it is needed to guard Max's fingers, but still retains the familiar profile of a Keyblade. The blade is longer than most with a couple of black highlights here and there to accentuate the previous hues, while the teeth are small, pointed but vaguely key-teeth shaped. Other: Max has considered donning a cape in the past, be it a shoulder cape or a full fledged and elegant one. His favourite food is a medium-well steak and sweet potato fries, served with a pint of stout. Theme Song: When referred to as a pair, Max and Weiss have been known by a few titles: The Unexpected Pair, the Twins of Twilight, the Sun and the Moon, Lux and Umbra, One Who Became Two, just to name a few. Name: Weiss Strider, Umbra Twin Nickname: N/A Race: Human Embodiment of Max's Darkness (Empty creature from Max riven.) Age: 21 (Physically and mentally) Gender: Female Height: 6'1 Appearance: A woman of a rare tall stature, yet she too nears physical peak just as her twin does. Weiss has shoulder length fully white hair that, to prevent the foremost strands from getting in her face, has been parted into bangs similar to a younger Xehanort's, with pale skin as contrasted to Max's tanned complexion, no scars to speak of, but her entire face bears black markings, which give away her status as not quite as human as one expects. (Think Darth Maul, but with her skin in place of the red.) The markings accentuate her yellow-orange irises and heavily bloodshot sclera. Despite her inhuman facial appearance, Weiss typically wears the outfit she was born with: A black double breasted tunic with a slightly brighter belt securing it, dark slacks and the same shin-high boots, however the tunic is undone and hangs like a battle dress over the still secured belt, revealing similar markings across her body, with her chest covered with a black tank top and her forearms and hands are wrapped in bandages while a bright white ring is upon her left hand ring finger, with similar engravings upon it. Personality: As a representation of Maximilian's darkness, Weiss possesses some less than desirable personality traits, namely and most prominently: Her sadomasochism and lust for battle, the former giving Larxene a run for her money and the latter rivaling the Heartless or a berserk Saix. Her enemies will feel the full brunt of these traits, while strangers are simply unnerved by her appearance, much to her lack of interest, but allies and friends will find that she is just a passionate soul at heart, partaking in much conversation, laughter at jokes and overall having a great zest for life, even if some of her subjects are a bit irregular for discussion, she means well. Her relationship with Max is exactly as her title implies, for she treats him as her twin brother, resulting in teasing, seemingly knowing what he's thinking and a deep bond with him as if he were a sibling and her best friend, reacting with immense anger should he or her friends be hurt or in peril, Max especially. History/Biography: Born during a perilous training incident, Weiss was initially an emotionless, faceless feminine figure, bearing the same clothing, albeit with a darker palette, as her progenitor: Maximilian Strider, who had just had his Darkness extracted from his Heart to save his life. Instead of lashing out like Master Quinn expected, she simply stood there for a few moments, unfazed until she turned around to face the unconscious Max. Several feelings almost overwhelmed her newborn Heart, of which there was shock, confusion and unfamiliarity, but topping them off was a sympathy she didn't understand, but it allowed her heart to awaken and thus, an identity was born from her shadowy origin and the situation she had just arrived in, approaching the boy with concern, kneeling and wondering aloud if he was okay, staying with him as Max was taken away to rest, electing to supervise him as he rested, to which the astonished Master allowed. After Max finally awoke from his long rest, it was soon found that Weiss represented the once rebellious spirit the young man was, hence his change in disposition once training resumed, with Weiss electing to join him despite being...problematic, for Master Quinn at times, she was at least more in control of her Darkness than her brother. For she was once part of the strong heart of a Keyblade Wielder, Weiss took after her brother fairly quickly, manifesting a unique Keyblade of her own: A double-bladed Keystaff, something rarely if ever seen in Keyblade Wielders, but the fighting style that resulted from it allowed her to be an unpredictable, aggressive opponent to reckon with. Now, she wanders with her brother Max in search of their lost Master and to seek adventure across the worlds. Powers and Abilities: Weiss's heart of pure darkness grants her natural prowess over the force itself, her dark powers being very potent indeed and all of her techniques are self-taught, as her time with Master Quinn was shorter. Usually before battle, Weiss will wreathe herself in a dark aura to increase her resilience, as to be able to take more punishment. Using the Darkness, Weiss can perform a dark telekinesis, always signified by an unstable dark energy gathering around her hand(s), to lift objects, compromise the structure of something to make it fall, attempt to push back her enemies or constrict their throats with dark energy, as well as teleport short distances and use the more generic shadow magics like orbs, Dark Firaga, dark energy geysers and create Dark Corridors for long-distance travel. More physical combat oriented techniques she knows are: Dark Splicer; a teleport rush of multiple slashes. Dark Aura; Rushes her enemies multiple times and finishes with a dark explosion followed by geysers. Abyssal Lunacy; By allowing the Darkness to take hold of her mind, Weiss becomes enveloped in a violent aura of darkness while her eyes glow a brilliant violet, attacking with greater ferocity, spreading Dark Fire with each attack and usually shouting and roaring to intimidate her foes, though she lacks the endurance of Saix, meaning she will tire out after using it, leaving her vulnerable to a time. Keyblades/Other Weapons: Twofold Torment - A unique double bladed Keystaff that Weiss wields masterfully, the blades are joined by a much longer than average hilt with wide handguards to allow for enough room for Weiss to spin the weapon in a flourish when needed. The palette of the blades is a combination of red, black and purple, spread evenly across the intricate blades, almost akin to Ultima Weapons, or the legendary X-Blade, but toned down. The teeth are jagged, pronounced and are seemingly bathed in shades of darkness at all times. Other: Weiss has heard of darkness-forged body suits, but hasn't had the desire to wear them over her current attire, feeling it'd be too expected, like her donning a mask. Her favourite food is pepperoni pizza with some cola and she enjoys woodwork. When referred to as a pair, Max and Weiss have been known by a few titles: The Unexpected Pair, the Twins of Twilight, the Sun and the Moon, Lux and Umbra, One Who Became Two, just to name a few. Theme Song: (And they are finally done...sorry it took so long. Let me know if they need adjustment, Warin.)

I always thought while Kingdom key is Sora's base Keyblade. Oathkeeper is the true form of his Keyblade. Because it represents the bond he has with Kairi and he is able to use it because of the good luck charm she gave him.

Ceres nodded “Tea sounds good.” She then turned as Lucia showed at, a small smile across her face. “Sorry, Paladin instict and all. We were about to head to the cafeteria for tea, by all means feel free to join us” she smiles before starting towards the cafeteria, her armor clinking as she hadnt changed out of it yet. ——- Galla continued to stare at the drink in her glass. “I remember everything... I almost died before I came to Haven.... I only lived because of it...” she replied

Alright, sorry for the delay. Work has kept me busier than I had foreseen. To answer your questions, @Warin, I'm all for the basic plot you have so far. The Sages sound like solid primary antagonist. As for worlds, I've always been partially to ones like Treasure Planet and Moana. Might also be fun to stick in a pure FinalFantasy world, most likely one not represented by a character in the KH series yet. As for characters I'd like to play, I'm pretty flexible. There is currently no one I'd like to claim, but can take on what is needed.

I would be up for that. The characters for the most part are set up, and Kuni is still working on his sheet for his character, so this is a good time. What planning do you have in mind for this roleplay? A lot of hosts for roleplays on this site have followed a rough idea at the very start and developed them as they moved along, though I would be perfectly content with a discussion regarding possibilities.

    Light's Ember- A kairi fanfiction

Chapter 5: Alliance The woman continues to examine me, with a look of complete and utter disbelief that I should be here. What should I say, I'm not really supposed to be here anyway. Are they supposed to know I'm from another world? I sit up and begin to look around, taking in my environment. It looks like a beach, almost like my own from home. There's a familiar air of peace surrounding this shore... I begin to explain myself. "Hello, my name is Kairi. I'm sorry to bother you, but could you tell me where I am?" The womans body language seemed to be put at ease, more off guard. Did she think I was here to harm someone? Relaxed now, she began to speak in a friendlier tone. "Hello Kairi, my name is Yuna. You're actually here on Besaid Island. It's good to see that you're unharmed. You just appeared from a cocoon of bright white light and-" Before she could finish explaining she was immediately interrupted. "Hey, Yunieee!" Running at full speed, a woman with Blonde braids, green eyes, and dressed in a yellow skirt and blouse rushed to Yuna expectantly. She spoke with exuberance, and had a spunky personality. Yuna seemed to know her. "Hey Rikku, is everything alright? Where's Paine?" Rikku? That's her name? That's funny, it's such a small world. I chuckle quietly, noting all the similarities and differences between this Rikku and my Riku. Rikku looks toward me and smiles. "Who's this Yunie? "This is Kairi. We just met a few moments ago." Rikku extends her hand toward me and smiles gleefully. "It's nice to meet ya Kairi. Any friend of Yunie's is a friend of mine." I grab her hand as she helps me stand to my feet. "Thank you, it's very nice to meet you too." Immediately Rikku looks behind me and gasps. "What happened, who is that? Are they alright?" I look toward the spectacle and see a small peculiar creature with a red sphere and antenna on it's head, laying face down in the sand, unconscious. We rush to assist it. I begin to pick it up, it's small body limp in my hands, I notice it also has an odd red nose and small eyes... we have to do something for it to come to. "We should do something, it's passed out." The others looked confused, and began pondering solutions. "Yunie, you have any potions on you?" "Sorry, I'm all out at the moment. Maybe we can take it to the ship and see what we can do there." I've got it! Why hadn't I thought of this sooner? "Hey, I have an idea." The two looked to me, perplexed of what I was going to do. If I can remember my training, I was taught two spells by Merlin himself. One was Pearl, and the other..... I extend my right arm, close my eyes, and summon my keyblade. And with it summoned, I hold it to the sky and cast. "Cure!" I watch as a green comforting light emits from the keyblade and shrouds the peculiar creature. Rikku comments on what just happened. "It was that simple? Yunie we could've just used magic? Oof." She facepalmed. I watch as the creatures eyes begin to flutter open. It really is adorable. I whisper to it and smile. "Good morning." Our moment was cut short however, when monsters instantly appeared around us. Yuna and Rikku ready their weapons. "Fiends!" They both shout. But something was different, these weren't regular monsters. These were heartless. Even here too... Rikku looks toward me. "Kairi, I don't know what to call that thing in your hand, but I hope you can fight with it." Yuna looks to me reassuringly. "Can you fight with that?" I place the creature down and ready my keyblade for battle. "Yeah. I can do this."

    Light's Ember- A kairi fanfiction

Hello everyone, This thread is a condensed version of the various posts as I've decided it's better to update you all under one thread as opposed to various. If you all haven't heard before, I'm sharing a fanfiction story of what happens to Kairi after the events of KH3. It's pretty interesting I believe and would love to hear your thoughts about it. The Story will Start in this thread from chapter 1. Chapter 4 has just been released and any updates will be posted in this thread! My twitter: @FruitPaopu Thank you for your patience and understanding~ May your heart be your guiding key~ Chapter 1: Rest I can only remember closing my eyes, barely conscious and faintly hearing my name from a distance. My body felt suspended, I couldn't feel the ground beneath my feet. I couldn't move....only listen. "Kairi!!" "You require motivation." Immediately I felt a sharp pain then soon after the pain stopped and my body filled with light. What happened between then and now I can't quite recall. I could just remember feeling my heart drift into a realm of emptiness. It was a scary yet familiar experience. This wouldn't be the first time my heart has drifted away, leaving my body in such a comatose state. This time is no different. Here I am again, in this beautiful yet desolate place full of hearts from those who have also fallen. The vast and expansive blue waves touch my feet. The clouds above me are still. Time is weird here. My form still retains, but I feel empty inside. Maybe Sora still believes we'll be together again. Is that why I haven't faded away? Just as I saved him, he's doing the same for me. Nearby I could hear quiet weeping. Who could be here crying, is it another person? Following the voice, it led me to one of the hearts floating around. It doesn't even notice me, continuing to cry and moving aimlessly. "Um...hello?" The crying stops. And the hearts movement slows as it floats toward me. I should say something. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt but I heard you crying...." A gentle voice emanated from the heart as it spoke to me. "No, don't be sorry. I apologise, I really shouldn't be here, I just....I don't know how I ended up here anyway. I was separated from my friends and loved ones and the last memory I have is seeing the face of the one I care for the most." She needs someone to talk to right now. We're both in the same boat. "If you need someone to talk to right now, I understand. I'm Kairi, what's your name?" I could hear her sniffling starting to stop as she spoke. "Hello Kairi, my name is Aerith."

I'm being careful. I actually love the first Frozen movie, but I also felt it ended perfectly fine and didn't need a sequel. The trailer looks interesting and I certainly want to see it. But I hope it actually adds and feels needed and not just made because they need a sequel. Crossing my fingers.

    Overworld RP *COMPLETE*

    - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis - Aura was waiting for Alastor's response, whatever he needed the lamp for should have been very important for him to consider using a wish, but they had to leave, and Rabiyu knew that. "Maybe this could wait until later, Alastor?" Rabiyu said calmly while looking at the man, "If it is important enough for you to try and use a wish to, well, wish for something, then it must be important and, perhaps, better told in private." The young human woman looked between Rabiyu and Alastor for a moment, so did Sifrei. Both agreed to the elf's words. This had been a rather exhausting quest, one that they had managed to pull, even if it requiered a few sacrifices. "Let us leave this place. Perhaps we could talk about this once we arrive at, well," Sifrei hesitated for a moment while looking around, "whichever place we go. Kilkis Seres or Mystras." Without waiting for a response Aura looked at the white haired elf once more before running to Helios' side. Rabiyu gave Alastor a nod while Sifrei offered a small bow before following the rest of the group outside. -------------------- - Kilkis Seres - Three weeks later - Today was a beautiful day, it was a momentous day, for it was the day of the prince of Kilkis Seres' ascension, to finally be crowned king. Aura had arrived from Mystras with Rabiyu and Sifrei earlier in the day, She was wearing a black dress with golden trims and complicated beautiful patterns in gold threads, Rabiyu had asked to have it delivered from somewhere back in the north, or so she said. It was beautiful, and far more expensive than she could imagine, if the looks of jealousy coming from some of the fey women was to be believed. "Was it necessary for me to wear this dress, Eli? I mean, I AM grateful that you got it for me, but," Aura hesitated for a moment, "isn't it expensive?" Rabiyu, who was now wearing a gold and silver armor, was walking next to Aura, and by what she could tell, maybe some of the locals thought that young Aurora was part of human aristocracy, as she was currently being followed by two important looking people wearing armor. "This is a momentous occasion, Aurora. It is to commemorate the ascension of the prince, his ascension to be the rightful ruler of Kilkis Seres," Rabiyu answered, "I think you look good on it. And besides, money is of no consequence, it possesses no meaning to me." "Just enjoy the moment," Sifrei said while smiling, "this is the start of a new era." How could she enjoy such moment when she had lost two of her loved ones ever since she came to the Overworld, how could she be expected to deal with the pain of being left behind by those two? A few nights before, she had a dream, a dream in which her brother asked her to live life to its fullest, for both him and Henry. She deserved to be happy, and it would make him happy to see her that way. That dream made her realize that Aurion was right. She was going to live, and she was going to remember those who didn't make it. It was the least she could do. The trio made their way into the palace of Kilkis Seres, people were already gathered there. They had seen some familiar faces among the crowd, both human and fey. Aura had found Helios moments after they arrived, but he was quickly spirited away by his parents. Aura decided to give him some space. She remained still, looking around the palace, it felt like it was the first time she had been there even when the last time was not the best. Helios's voice brought her back to reality. "And thank you for helping me find the strenght to keep moving forwards, Helios," Aura said as she intertwined her fingers with Helios', "I lost so much ever since I came here, but having you by my side gives me the strenght to keep going. I am sure both Henry and Aurion would give me a lecture if I gave up, but with you by my side, I know I can conquer any challenge." Both Rabiyu and Sifrei left Aura with Helios as they felt the deserved some privacy. So they walked back a few meters and waited for the ceremony to start. "Any news back home?" Sifrei asked, "None. It has been a couple of days, but the more I try to use the astral projection, something dispels the spell. It is quite strange." Rabiyu answered. "Well, the Tide Mother and the King of Kings are aware of what happened in Isopolis. Our report was very detailed. Or at least yours was. I was not aware once we arrived at the last part." he said while rubbing his cheek. "Do not worry about it. They were informed of everything I remember, and what little I don't, I do not think it is that important, we were fighting at the time, after all." Rabiyu said calmly, "I do have a question. I learned that you were planning to help Miss Mariel face the Heavenly Host. Do you realize that we have to go back to the North, right?" "I know, I know. And my offer for her still stands. I have no authority with the Heavenly Host, as I am not part of it, but that doesn't mean I cannot help a friend in need," Sifrei said while looking at the elf, "We will go back home, but if she indeed goes to face the Host, then I will return and be at her side. You know, for support." Rabiyu stared at the archangel for a moment, trying to find out what was going through his mind, but she didn't. Besides, she understood the feeling of wanting to help someone. Yevgeni had been abscent ever since they came back from Isopolis, and that was expected, he had conspired to kill the Frostbearer and destroy the world below. Forgiveness was not something that he could expect from Kilis Seres, or most individuals for that matter. But she knew that he needed someone, a friend, to be at his side, and she had decided to be there when he needed her.

    Light's Ember- A kairi fanfiction

Chapter 2: Mirror I'm so glad she stopped crying, something tells me she's not the type to do so very often. In fact, I have a feeling she's normally a cheerful person. "Kairi.." Oh, she's opening up to me. "Yes." "I don't know how much time I may have in this place. But if I could.. I'd like to tell you a story..." A story? I love stories, they're always fun to listen to, but most of all I know... they're always somehow important. My grandma used to tell me stories when I was younger... "Absolutely, I'd love to listen." And so she began "Once upon a time, in a world very different from yours. There was girl who loved to sell flowers. She would sell them everyday as much as she could. One day she met someone. This person was filled with sadness and hurt, yet there was an unexplainable kindness that emanated from him. After a while they both began to care for one another. However, not much like any fairytale you've heard before. The world they resided in was a powerhouse of greed and corruption. People wanted a resource, an energy and would pursue it at any cost. The Girl enjoyed her time with this guy. She even decided to go on adventures with him, to help him stop what the powers that be would do to the world they lived in. She grew to care for this man who initially was distant and full of despair. Watched him bloom into a leader of compassion and strength, even though his past haunted him deeply. She became his guiding light. However, tragedy struck and she perished. One by one, all of her loved ones gathered around to mourn her passing. Yet she made a promise. She promised to keep them all safe, especially the one she cared for most. Even if her body perished, her spirit would watch over them all. She would always be with him; they're destinies were forever intertwined. He hasn't forgotten her either, everyday in a church they pay respects and visit her flower bed in memorial of her. She watches from above, and continues to smile down at them." This story feels so familiar yet foreboding. I want to feel happy, but somehow I'm not sure if I should cry or smile. "That was a sad yet beautiful story Aerith. Thank you for that." "Kairi, is there anyone you've ever cared for. Someone who you've vowed to protect?" Of course I have, I think about him everyday. A part of me knows he thinks of me too. Sora's probably out there somewhere, searching for me. But I know I'll make it back to him..someday. Suddenly, the star that contained Aeriths spirit began to fade away. "Aerith!" I need to ask her something, I need to know this isn't the end of the story. There has to be more. "Kairi, it seems my time has come to pass on." I need to ask. "Aerith... The story you told me, about the guy and the girl. Is it.... Is it your story?" Did you promise to protect someone?" "Yes, it is my story, and I can tell you've made a promise to someone as well. If I could do things differently I would, but know that you have the strength to change fate, especially if your destinies are intertwined." "Aerith... who is the one you cared for the most? Who did you promise?" She chuckled a bit before answering, I can tell she's smiling. "His name...was Cloud. And you?" I wish I could tell her all about my journey, about my constant separation and reunion with him. But all I can say is a name. "Sora." I watched as the star began to completely fade away into the atmosphere.... Chapter 3: Cross-Over After Aerith's departure, the environment around me shifted. The clouds that were once still have dissipated, with an urgent darkness consuming the once peaceful landscape. The ground beneath my feet began to falter to darkness, dragging me down... I tried to fight it, but ultimately it consumed me, forcing me into a deep slumber. Somewhere I could hear a voice amidst the noise and darkness. "Don't be afraid. Only now have you truly awakened. Inside your heart is the purest of light, darkness cannot extinguish it, only renew it." Who's speaking to me? It can't be Sora...Namine? I need to know what's happening with me. Why do I feel so... strange? "Please, who are you? What's going on, what's going to happen to me?" Immediately I opened my eyes. I could feel a cold surface underneath my body. It's odd, there seems to be darkness, an absence of light, yet somehow a violet light shines. Not from the sky, but emanating from the ground... Managing to stand up again, I take a good look at the floor. It's not dirt, concrete, or even the sand from my island, but a stained glass... Something is different. I take closer look. It's me! I'm on the glass and so are Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Riku.... It portrays me holding my keyblade, with flowers and paopu fruit decorating the edges of the round portrait. Somewhere off in the distance, the voice speaks again. "This is The Station of Awakening." Station of awakening? The voice continued "You initially resided in the place where sleep and death touch, however... you're not meant to pass on. Not yet. There is still someone keeping you here. So instead, you've been swept to a place connected to The Final World: The Station of Awakening. Although you seem awake, you are still very much in a deep slumber." The Final World? Is that the name of the place I spoke with Aerith in, and the same place where I saved Sora before? And now I'm here. In deep sleep. How do I get out of here? How do I wake up? "But how can I wake up? How can I reach the outside world again?" The voice replied one last and final time. "Similar to grasping onto consciousness, like waking up, you must struggle and fight." Suddenly, a path of stained glass steps appeared, leading to a higher platform where a silhouette stands...waiting... I begin toward the steps. And with all of my strength, summon my keyblade in hand, walking towards the upcoming silhouette... Chapter 4: Wake Up! As I walk toward the silhouette facing away from me I begin to realize that it's no monster but instead a figure donning a black hooded trenchcoat. Is this an organization member? I thought we defeated them along with Xehanort, why are they here? As I approached, the figure began to speak. It wasn't the words that shocked me, instead it was the voice carrying them into the atmosphere that made my body weak, almost dizzy with confusion. It was a voice I've heard many times before, a voice that makes this moment very bittersweet... "You're too late. The end of the road is already here." The figure turned around to face me, and revealed himself. It was an intimately familiar face, the face of someone I care about most. Someone with brown spikey hair, and a smile on his face. "Sora!" Yet something was different about him, his usual cheerful blue eyes were no longer blue, but yellow. And this smile... It's not from the heart I can tell. It's a smile of malice, one that enjoys destruction and darkness.. This isn't him, I know it's not. The Sora I know wouldn't give himself to the darkness so easily, he's still out there somewhere, I know it. He spoke once again. "You never change do you? Always waiting...never taking action. And now, the one time I needed you most, you weren't there." His words were poison to my spirit. Even though I know this isn't the real Sora, why do his words hurt me so much? He continued speaking. "You promised you would keep me safe. We intertwined our destinies, but how long do you think it will last if only one of us is the initiator? How can you believe I'll make it back to you, when you can't even believe you have enough strength to search for me yourself!" Why does my heart ache... It's true I do believe he'll come back, but everytime he's shown me that he does....eventually. What if he's right? What if this time, he may not come home? I may never see his smiling face again, or race with him and Riku on the beach. I constantly bait him into danger, because I'm unable to believe in my own strength. I thought training with Axel under Merlin was enough to prepare me, but sadly I was wrong. Somewhere deep inside, I can remember Aerith's departing words to me: "Remember, you have the strength to change your fate." Believing in Sora to come home isn't enough anymore, I have to apply actions behind that belief. I will bring him home! His voice became stern as he scolded me. "Don't you have anything to say for yourself!" His eyes grew cold and malicious as he glared at me. This isn't the real Sora, I'm only dreaming and now more than ever it's become clear that I need to wake up and find him. I believe not just in him now, but also myself! "I may be your weakness, but I will still prove to be your greatest strength." He seemed surprised as he replied in a condescending tone. "Oh really? Well just remember this, as we both succumb to darkness. Since our destinies our intertwined, there is only one sky, one destiny." Sora, I don't want to hurt you...but I need to wake up! I ready my keyblade. The platform beneath our feet began to shake and tremble, I watch in horror as the imposter begins to transform. Darkness starts to emanate from the figure then envelopes him completely. He sinks into a puddle of darkness onto the floor then sprouts from it as a colossal heartless! In it's right hand it holds a pocket watch ticking backwards as though there's a countdown. Within the palm of it's left hand are orbs which loosely resemble other worlds and between those orbs are my memories of the journey I've had so far. It's face shows a mask with a smile writhed in pain and despair, while it's eyes ominously glow yellow.. It doesn't stand on feet but instead there is a spiral of darkness keeping it suspended in mid-air. Alright Kairi, remember your training. Merlin taught you two spells: Pearl and Cure. The Monster winds up for a strike. Let's use a spell. I lift my keyblade into the air and begin to cast fervently. "Pearl!" I watch as a bright sphere of light emits from the keyblade, and hones directly toward the creatures face. It flinches and staggers from the pain. One more time! "Pearl!" I cast the spell and the sphere of light emits toward the creature. The Creature swings the pocket watch in a counter-clockwise motion. And it sends the sphere back into my keyblade. Is this...time magic!? I've never gone against this before. Maybe I should use physical attacks. I dash toward the creature, and it attempts to strike me with the pocket watch. I evade quickly, and jump onto the watch. I begin to attack it's mask as it brings the watch closer toward it's face. It staggers once more and the mask shatters to pieces, falling from its face. Revealing nothing but void darkness as it's true form. It's weakening, I can tell! Maybe now I can cast Pearl once more! "Pearl!" The sphere of light emits immediately from the keyblade and hits the exposed face of the creature, causing it to move around and roar in pain. Suddenly, I hear that strange voice speak to me once again. "Raise your keyblade and with the strength of your heart, summon a beam of light to come out!" What? A beam of light, I've never done anything like that in training before. What if I fail... The creature begins to rush toward me in one last act of desperation. The voice urges me. "Now!" I raise my keyblade to the rapidly approaching monster and close my eyes to focus. Instantly, a massive beam of light ejects from the keyblade, and penetrates the creature made of darkness. I watch in terror as it collapses to the ground and darkness consumes the platform, breaking the stained glass I stand on. Now falling, I begin to lose consciousness. Yet the mysterious voice speaks as I drift. "You'll be alright, your journey is just beginning." As I begin to close my eyes, a radiant white light consumes me..... Much later, I find myself regaining consciousness again. I can feel sand underneath my body. My eyes open slowly to reveal a woman with blue and green eyes staring directly at me. Her brown hair is cut short, and her voice is calming as she speaks to me. "Who are you? What are you doing here in Spira?"

Very well, an initial conflict in which the characters gather is excellent. As well as having known of each other before to not have to go through an extended introduction and just know a bit about each other already. I have something of a plot in mind, though it mostly involves a counterpart to the Organization of my own creation, The Sages of Darkness going to worlds creating plans to consume the worlds in darkness. The Sages being the Heartless of powerful individuals as they appear humanoid. I figure the Organization can be the masterminds behind a few schemes as well to eventually get the groups to clash. I figure between currently the three of us we can decide who will play each character, The Organization being a simple matter and a bit for the characters in the worlds they encounter as well but I can provide a brief description of the Sages to see if either of you would like to play them and orchestrate their plan for any given world. I would like for the worlds they encounter to be a mix of original ones and Disney ones, though I highly favor ones that haven't been in the game yet. As for additional character selection, for the Organization I usually enjoy playing Larxene. Excellent, he seems like quite the remarkable character and I can't wait to have him in the plot. I'd like to hear your take on what I have in mind for the plot as well and if you have any preference for worlds you'd like to play in or characters you'd like to play.

Well, folks, this is it. It's hard for me to believe it, but we are finally in the epilogue and the closure of the RP. It is three weeks since the events of Isopolis, and it is during the coronation of Prince Jynn. Feel free to insert your character(s) however you wish, filling in what happened after Isopolis, if you desire, or skipping right to the present day. You can even write *after* these events, if you wish. I'm thinking that this scene will be brief. Your characters also do not need to be present for the coronation. They could have gone their own separate ways after Isopolis. It is entirely up to you. This has been amazing, you guys. Thank you so much for being involved with this and participating!

    Opinion on Kairi in KH3

Personally I'm saddened by what Nomura has done to Kairi's development, hyping her up only for stuff like that to happen again. My concern is that he listened to the more vocal part of the fanbase who seem to dislike her and took that as 'Ok, they want more bromance so I'll give them that then.' This is basically what I can hope for. C'MON NOMURA, SOME OF US ARE HEAVILY INVESTED IN HER EMOTIONALLY!

I agree with practically all that's been said on the topic, but let's not forget the other KH girls and their treatment in this game.

    Opinion on Kairi in KH3

She has character, just Nomura does not want to expand on it cause he want's to focus on the "bromance". Which in itself is fine but it's annoying when one of the literal MAIN CHARACTERS gets shoved to the side for it constantly. It's not the characters fault, it's Nomuras. She has a personality, it's just not expanded on.
