KH13 Pokemon Tournament Thread

I've posted on ISaix's profile and on here and heard nothing from him. In about an hour I'm going out (Birthday celebrations) and I won't be back until very late so the likelihood of us duking it out are slim to none...

No worries I'm still here,I'm a bit busy these days so I didn't follow much of the tourney,but I should be able to do my match on monday around 4PM EST

I think in the interest of fairness, I don't see why we can't adjust our sets. You guys are the ones wanted to keep the same teams throughout the tournament. I say we use the same teams, and same Mega Pokemon (If already chosen) but we can adjust sets and items.

Sounds good And imo changing moves, or items is like using a diff strategy, contary to have different teams.

OK, Shulk and I should play today, I asked him and he said he would let me know when he's ready. Tbh he might be ready now, but it's just hard for us to come online at the same time because of timezones, and because it's a weekend.

I wasn't expecting your Venusaur to hold out so long. I never realized how good they are at defense.

I know, Venusaur doesn't look that defensive, but in the long run they can be more resistant than Blastoise

I think you could have won if you decided to use heavy slam instead of rest sometimes. Great battle anyway

His Giga Drain and Leech Seed combo reversed a lot of the damage done by Heavy Slam. Unless I got lucky with Criticals, I'm still not sure if it would have been enough.

I agree with Zimomo in a way, but it's too hard to see "what if's"  here, I had protect and you had rest, it was too close to actually know where the difference could've been

Yeah, that's true. Both of those moves helped us keep our Pokemon alive for a really long time.
