Hello pals,

I accidentally gave Alice a skill from which I assumed it would be second chance, but since this is jpux I was obviously mistaken and now I'm wondering what the heck of a skill I gave her. So anyone here who speaks Japanese and knows what

アビリライ2 means?

The Ability is 'Reset +4'

So I gave a reset skill to a character that has the reset skill by default? Fml..

Ok now I'm confused. What does it do actually? Remove all the buffs from the enemies?

Ah ok now I understand. With reset +4 you were referring to Alice normal skill. Yeah, so what does ability +2 do? I think the text below explains it but unfortunately I don't understand a word.

Alice's base ability is 'Reset' according to KHUnhainedX Wiki

 

BUT I noticed she has a skill (bottom box) that reads 'Ability 2'

according to this page, its got to do with the amount of skill consumed by your skill gauge when you activate this medal.

I searched in on Square Enix's website

 

※スキル「アビリティ1」…アビリティの消費ゲージを1に固定する。100%発動。

※アビリティの消費ゲージが元々「0」のメダルに「アビリティ1」を上書きすると、消費が「1」となってしまいますのでご注意ください。

 

It reads:

※The Skill 'Ability 1'...Fixes the consumption of the ability gauge by 1. 100% activation..

※ If the ability cost of the medal was originally 0 and you apply this ability to it, the ability cost of the applied medal will become 1.

 

in your case you have スキル「アビリティ2」

Therefore the ability cost will become 2. It sounds like it'd be useful if used on medals whose cost is 3 or more. I.e. To use Sono Arcana by KH3D sora, the consumption gauge is 4. If you applied this ability to the Sora medal you could pull off a Sono Arcanum while only using up 2 ability points.

 

Alice originally had an ability cost of 2. So when you applied this medal, nothing changed.

Yeah it makes a lot of sense and I just wasted a pretty good skill.. Wouldn't be half bad if I didn't need that Alice. But I'll figure something out. I think I'll get a ability 1 skill in the current event, I'll use that for schoolgirl selphie I think. 3 gauges are a bit too much for a buff If I don't. You helped me a lot here. Would you mind if I message you every now and then when I have an understanding issue?

I played a bit of the Japanese version when it came out but I didn't get too far. I am active on the English version tho, I'm an amateur Keyblader from Vulpes.

The game proceeded so much that it is very easy to surpass your naux account in a week. In only 2 weeks I got twice as far as my naux account that has 55 days on his account. It's all about finding a decent party (which is very easy on jpux) and the party medals are really overpowered. You should consider giving it a second try buddy, especially because you have the advantage of understanding one of my favourite languages and thanks for the offer and your kindness. I'll go back to sleep now, it's late here in Germany. Take care buddy
