KHUX Guilting medals

Recommended Posts

Can someone explain to me briefly how guilt works? Also, which medals are worth putting effort on guilting them the most?

Guilting is a process where you combine 6* medals which basically adds a percentage to your medals special attack multiplier, or more easily put, it gives your medals special attack more power beyond the 5 special attack orbs.  The medals must be the same Character and Star Level in order to increase your special attack, and once you fill up all 5 yellow orbs, you will be able to guilt.  You will know the percentage range based off of the symbol next to the orbs on your 6 star medal. as shown below:

Guilting is absolutely worth the time if you have the medals, and its best to guilt your free medals (Wakka, Selphie, Tidus, etc.) if you are early in the game (however, you cannot guilt until after quest 200), but you will have the chance to guilt your Rikus and Clouds or what have you when you get enough medals from pulls.

Also, heres a helpful guilting tree I found on KHInsider that shows the best way to combine your medals as to not waste any.  In order to guilt, you will need 7 of the same medal:

                                                                Posted Image

So when you finally guilt your 6* medal, you will be given a percentage in the range based off of the medals guilt level.  If you are not satisfied with the percentage you are given, you can always level up another 6* medal and "Re-roll" the guilt.  This will give you either a higher percentage or the same percentage, but never lower.

I hope this answers any questions you may have

Guilting is basically an effect where your 6-star medal's special attack strength is pushed even further than it's listed limit. If' you've noticed that purple symbol next to the yellow dots on each medal description, that shows the level and percentage you can have your medal's attack boosted. You activate this feature when you fuse 6 of the same medals together. Each medal you fuse fills up a yellow dot, but when you fill all 5 it's not over yet, you still need to fuse one more medal in order for the purple dot to light up. Once you do that you are given a roulette to determine how high the boost percentage will be, but no matter how high or low it is you can always boost it by 1% with a Magic Mirror medal if you have any.

Any medal is worth boosting, as you can get your most with any of them. Yeah some medals are stronger than others, but odds are you aren't going to have too many clones of the rarer medals out there. The best strategy is if you have any clones of any medals, then focus on fusing those medals together whenever you can, and eventually you might be able to guilt them.

Hello everyone, I have a question: Most of the Tier 1 medals are stuck to 21% when guilting and rerolling... Is iit normal?

I used like 5 more medal (6star) to try to raise the guilt of Riku, but it stays at 21% :(

May the chance of rising it lower after a certain %age ? (And then I am really unlucky ...)

Thanks for any responses ^^'

To raise the percentage added to the medal's damage you don't need to use more 6 star medals but yes magical mirrors. You can get them in some quests or in the coliseum, raid boss, and multiplayer boards ~ one magical mirror used on the medal raises the guilt by 1%

I've gotta get on about reading this myself... I stopped playing the mobile ver. so long ago, I'm almost too intimidated to play again.

I have no idea how to guilt, what a good quest to power level is, or what Nova is... or even what my new Pink Fox buddy guy is.

I'M OUTTA THE LOOP.
