What is (Is there?) the best way to obtain Jewels without paying real money? I made the mistake of spending 1500 Jewels yesterday for Medals. Should of waited untill i had 3k medals.

What is (Is there?) the best way to obtain Jewels without paying real money? I made the mistake of spending 1500 Jewels yesterday for Medals. Should of waited untill i had 3k medals.

So far, the only way is to complete missions that award jewels, usually event missions, log in once every day for free jewels, and wait for Jewel Quests to return again for another week. Those are the only ways unfortunately, though if there has been an error of some kind they usually compensate by giving people free Jewels after the issue is resolved. Otherwise the most reliable way is to just keep buying the 3000 Jewel deal once every week, that at least gets you 3000 for the price of 1700 and unlocks all of the weekly challenges until Monday. You just got to be wise with your spending. I typically try to spend jewels at least once whenever there is a special draw deal going on, like this one or the last one.

Sometimes, when the game goes under maintenance they give us some free jewels too. But it doesn't happen very often. 

 

I know ur struggle man. I've spent 3000 jewels today in the sea-salt icecream trio medal pack and guess what?! All I got is a dang Larxene D:

correct me if im wrong but i think for every 5 story missions, you get 150 jewels

Well, I haven't spent a single dime on the game, and so all the Jewels I've obtained in the game have been with hard effort, ya know?  The three basic ways of earning free Jewels is completing every 5 story missions!  For example, when you reach from Mission 1 to Mission 5, you get 150 Jewels for reaching the 5th mission, ya know? Then, you keep earning jewels for every 5 story missions you do, ya know?  Then there's the login bonus!  As long as you boot up the game, just once a day, you'll get free Jewels, and it amounts to 500 Jewels per week!  Then there's also the jewels we get from getting issues resolved or from special events and special quest events, ya know?  So yeah, those are the three basic ways!

Well, there's still the daily login bonus, and if you haven't done any of the Special Quests that net you 30 Jewels a piece, then go do those!  Otherwise, the only other option is to buy them with cash!  But I ain't gonna do that! X3

You see, that's the problem. I have finished absolutely every quest in this game except for some of the adamanite quests which seem to be quite impossible at times. A week of logins gives you like 800 jewels or something, making it 4 weeks to just be able to make a 3k jewel pull.. It's ridiculous. Squares greed is hard in this one, but as we all now there are enough that spent a living on this game.

I think it takes the fun out of it, but it's completely optional. The servers need to be maintained as well. The people working at square enix need to make and maintain the game, and need to go home at the end of the day. There are probably people working on it who are gamers themselves at square, but they also need to think about things like food. 

 

If people didn't complain about having to buy apps, maybe chi would have been a couple dollars, under ten, and the jewel shit wouldn't be necessary.

 There is no way the prices of jewels can be justified, period. And no, the entire game isn't free and you have to unlock a quest (Daily cid vip) so your argument is invalid. The other thing is, what actually supports my point that SE is greedy (at least for NAux) is that we don't get any jewels compared to the Japanese version. As I said, takes them 8 days there, 4 weeks here. They probably see a bigger market in NAux and force people to pay a load to continue with the game. You know, if the jewels wouldn't be that God damn overpriced, maybe I'd buy some more, but the way they are preferring people who are able to spend more is just ridiculous. Actually I barely saw it that ridiculously in any game so far (except dungeon keeper). Calling this game free to play is a joke. It was meant to be pay to win in NAux and it is how it is. It's always the same trick, make a game with grinding and people will pay for it. It's the same crap with the microtransactions with console games (buying packs on ufc, Fifa and so on). The server costs and a lot more could be covered even when the prices where 1/3 of what they are now. SE isn't stupid, they now a lot of people will spend their money and they're totally milking it. If everyone stops buying jewels for one or two weeks you will see them trying to catch us with the fanciest deals or pulls. Even if chi was 15 dollars, it would have kept a lot of pay to win elements. 100 percent sure about that. It's like saying that Fifa 16 gives you free packs in ultimate team because you paid 60 bucks for the game in first place. (for anyone who doesn't play it, it doesn't give you free packs. The cheapest pack is like 3 Dollars, even though you already paid for a copy of the game)

Well, as long as you manage to play the game without spending a dime, you're really not getting into any trouble, ya know?  For instance, when you can't earn any more Jewels, just wait till more missions are available, plus keep doing the daily login, ya know?  As long as you do that, you'll be fine!  Sure, it takes patience, but you'll get there!

 

And well, to be fair, at least Square made the game to be downloaded for free.  I've had it since launch day, and I haven't paid a single dime for the game, since the purchase options aren't mandatory, ya know?

And don't being able to progress in a game that's all about progressing is quite frustrating, ya know?I have the game since release in Europe (1 month), for one who has only spent 15 bucks I'm doing pretty damn well I'd say, but that makes it even more frustrating.

Japan is more generous with its own users than the rest of the world.(Or Square Enix of NA is running the NA version? Idk). 3000 jewels per week, and it's permanent and completely free! Khux NA is like the ghettos compared to Khux JP. The struggle is real...

Humm. Jewel farming you say? Well, if you don't do you're story quest, you're missing out on big bucks. If you use the Jewel Quest guide on KHUXwiki it'll tell you where the gems are located throughout the many amounts of quest. What I usually do is run through to unlock multiple quest then pick at the ones with jewels in them. You'll see a pattern of jewel quest going by 5, but later on they won't as much which is why you need the guide. Sadly jewel farming does end and right now I'm waiting for new quest to arrive. The 5th anniversary came up and I stock piled on the powerful medals that I got with the jewels that were time consuming to get. It's all worth it because you can advance in a quick amount of time with a good amount of those jewels. You can also do it in proud mode too. It's such a bummer that jewel events don't come out often.

If you finished the quests already then what I said didn't seem helpful. Hahaha.
