- Sifrei Mond - Royal training grounds of Sondon Castle -

Sifrei stared at the princess while she was speaking. One had to wonder how such an innocent girl managed to get stained by dark magic, her appearence now made some sense to him, but this wasn't something he could heal.

"Do not worry about that, child, it is no problem at all." he answered Visco, "I will take care of your friend while the red haired man takes care of her."

Preacher she said? How peculiar. Sifrei knew about the beliefs of the archangels and other being like him, but he never actually believed in this "God" his father used to talk about. Not that he believed in it either, not after leaving the holy city. Did the humans belived that "God", or gods, were in the sky, how silly. It was to be expected, the last time humans knew about the fey they...well, that was not important.

"Be careful, Little Princess, stay away from danger and take care of your friend." Sifrei said while looking in Everyth's direction, "Now then, the other one."

The Archangel walked towards Everyth while everything else was in slow motion, even then he watched as Roger punched the Fey. He wondered what was going to happen to the man in the end, he was obviously pushing his body way beyond his natural limit, something quite dangerous. Time went back to normal once Sifrei reached Everyth. He didn;t made any sound so it was unlikely that this Everyth knew he was that close to her. He watched her for a few seconds, her face showed many emotions, not all of them good.

"Do not be scared, I will help you. Just don't be afraid of what you will hear, alright?" He said to Everyth calmly, "Just relax, and you will see the light once more."

Sifrei slowly touched the young woman's forehead, and the whiperings began again. They were not coming from Sifrei, but all around the place. If he was right, then this girl would be able to hear them, at least a little, since she had a faint connection with the arcane plane.

Jynn Venas - Kilkes Seres

Thankfully, Maxis lost interest in fighting Henry. As the speaking armor turns away, the aura around Jynn's sword disappears, with the blade's power becoming dormant once again. As the prince sheaths his sword, he turns to the group. "I'm sorry about that. I have no idea what his motives are, but I need to get you guys out of the city before he changes his mind. Also........" He turns to Helios. "If your claims of a giant flying machine is true, which I can't help but believe you, then we're going to have to travel low so these guys aren't spotted." Jynn whistles for Mel to come to him. "We'll leave once I've hooked Mel to a carriage." He takes a quick glance at Henry, not in a threatening way, but out of curiosity. Something seems different about him. Jynn sees Helios next to the human. Maybe Helios could tell me more about Henry. He comes up with an excuse for Helios to come over. "Hey, Helios. Can you lend me a hand? I need to get the carriage out of the shack, and it may be a little heavy."

-Helios - Castle Courtyard - Aura, Aurion, Gel(?), Henry, Prince Jynn, Meksis, and Maxis-

Helios looked up as Jynn called for his help with the carriage. "Coming!" Helios hummed, turning to wave at the trio before hurrying over at Jynn's side. "Right, lets do it." Helios said, glancing over at Mel with a smile. "Mel is beautiful." He added, following Jynn to the shack to retrieve the carriage. "When we reached the Isopolis Shrine the machine was still docked. I don't think Alderon would risk his only way back down by bringing it out of the only exit, but good thinking." Helios chimed up, opening the shack to see the carriage inside. Specially designed for Pegasus, ready for earth and sky travel alike. He walked inside, getting a hold of one of the handles to pull it out. "Ready when you are, Jynn."

-Arthur - Raiden's Villa - Breakfast with Curvis and Midnea-

Arthur watched as Midnea spoke her mind from their comments, before leaving, most likely after the king. Arthur sighed, looking over at Curvis. "Well, we can say that at least we tried." Arthur said as he finished eating up the fruit. He relished the buffet that they were offered for dinner and breakfast alike. He kind of wished that he could bring some of these back to his mother and sister for them to taste as well. Or maybe a potion to help with the infertile lands of their kingdom. He had seen more and more people retiring to the cities from the farmlands, abandoning all hope of being able to make anything grow again. They all tried their best to be optimistic. There still was enough food and fertile land to feed the kingdom and its people, but every passing year it just seemed to get worse. "I wish we could meet this Queen too. At least the King to meet her and have a talk to talk as monarchs. But right now we can just hope that things go on our favor." Arthur hummed, taking a glance out the nearest window, admiring the foliage. "This world feels so much more alive than home."

Jynn Venas - Kilkes Seres

Jynn is quite amused that Helios was acknowledging Melstrome. "Yeah. He's certainly a sight, is he not? He's an exceptionally rare pegasus, only a few pinto colored pegasus' exist." Jynn moves to the other handle and firmly grasps it. He turns to Helios. "Alright, ready? We need to place this behind Mel. One, two, three. Lift!" The carriage was indeed heavy, but with Helios's help he was able to get the carriage out and behind Mel.

As he places the handle down, Mel is looking back at the two and emitted a nicker imitating a laugh, somewhat mocking them of their feeble physical strength (compared to his). Jynn looks towards the horse. "Yea, yea, laugh all you want turdface." Mel stops nickering. Jynn then grabs a draft collar from the shack and puts it on the horse, attaching the carriage handles onto it. Jynn then faces back to Helios. He first makes sure the others cannot hear him. "Can you tell me more about Henry? I understand that he's cursed by a ritual, giving him his powers. Is there something I should keep an eye on? It's not that I think he's a bad person or anything, but I feel like there's something I need to be careful about......."

-Helios - Castle Courtyard - Aura, Aurion, Gel(?), Henry, Prince Jynn, Meksis, and Maxis-

Helios was surprised by the question, but was even more surprised by the fact that nothing came to mind in order to answer. "Henry..." Helios began, looking down before furrowing his brows to think of something he could say that he didn't already know...but nothing came. He felt ashamed, actually, that he knew so little of him despite him going so far to help him and break him out. "I...actually don't know much about him myself, to be honest. We haven't really had much time to exchange such stories." Helios hummed, looking disappointed at himself. "I'm sorry." He hummed. He looked back up, looking back at Jynn. "The one thing I can be for sure, however, is that his brute strength is unparalleled, and  he is determined, he doesn't seem the type of guy to be swayed so easily, as you witness at the grand hall...he is quite stubborn." Helios said, smiling a bit at this, saying from what he could tell from the surface. "I'm sorry I do not know more. I'm actually kind of embarrassed...but..." Helios smiled. "He is not bad. He means well and good. Just...be careful he doesn't get over his head, I guess." Helios said as he gently petted Mel. "You should talk to him. You two seem to share the concern for the world below. That might help him open up with you."

Jynn Venas - Kilkes Seres

Helios recommended that the prince talks to Henry, but Jynn wasn't sure. "Hm. He doesn't seem to have any respect for nobles like me and my mother......." He paused, rubbing his chin. "......but yet again, he was forced into a ritual by Alderon, so I guess I see why. I'll see what I can do." He takes another look at Henry. Jynn was unsure of what to do next. Perhaps he could try to talk to Henry during the trip, as he was with his friends now, and probably wants nothing to do with Jynn. He turns back to Helios. "Hey, thanks for your help."

Dawson - Flowering Hyssop with Alicia

Alicia states that she is a wanderer, taking up any job that will help her earn enough to survive. Dawson could not help but feel sorry for her. "I'm sorry to hear that. It is a cruel world out there, take that from a cat." Alicia then asks about Dawson's latest accomplishment, to which he happily answers. "Well, yesterday I downed a mischievous Tigrex. Has a lot of brute strength, an ear piercing roar, the body of a quadrupedal wyvern, the head of a Tyranosaurus Rex, and a bad attitude. I'll tell you one thing, that thing is hella scary, even to a veteran hunter like me." He pauses, he's gone on for too long, so he turns to Alicia. "So what about you? What creatures have you defeated?"

- Meksis, The Chaperone, Armour of Light - Kilkis Seres -

While he was friends with his fellow living armour, Meksis couldn't help but roll his eyes internally at the antics of Maxis, attempting to set up a fight between him and Henry, the hybrid from the World Below. Maxis was quite enthusiastic about this, having a few clones shoving the unresistant Chaperone towards Henry, the latter being given a sword by Maxis prior to all of this and everything seeming to go his way.

Unfortunately for Maxis, everything came to a halt when Jynn, Son of Shiva, took his blade out and threatened Maxis, ordering him to cease this madness. Luckily for Jynn, Maxis relented quickly, though Meksis knew that if this were a particularly bad day for Maxis, taking away his entertainment would have been...violent, to say the least, especially if Jynn were not a nobleman.

At the end of all the ruckus, Meksis simply shrugged and spoke aloud to Henry. "On the one hand, I would never have killed you, Henry. Unless you gave me reason to. I would have gladly participated in a spar with you, because...well, to be honest; I could have used the warm-up." Meksis mused, a tinge of disappointment in his otherwise calm tone. "But, it is what it is." He concluded before stepping towards Prince Jynn and giving a light bow to the man, who while seemed to be preoccupied, Meksis was interested in knowing more about this man. "Excuse me, I know we've gotten off on the wrong foot here, but I have reason to believe you are a nobleman. You handled the situation very well...forgive me, I didn't catch your name. I am Meksis, a Living Armour like my friend Maxis there. Some call me "The Chaperone". And you are?" Meksis quaintly introduced himself, remaining formal with his arms behind his back.

- Soren Monroe, Loyalty Wavering - Raiden's Villa, Mystras -

To say Soren was uncertain would be the monumental understatement of this century. The demonic fey seemed to stare into the middle distance, rubbing his face from his cheeks to his lips, a hand on his hip and pacing around. This, Lord Raiden, had been in talks with Queen Shiva...now he just, wanted the Humans to comply with her wishes? Soren didn't hate Shiva, but he did not believe in compromising ones ideals, especially if they have been followed and their fruits formulated for years, for such simple reasons...unless, there was something more to this? What didn't he know about Raiden, aside from everything? It was during these thoughts that Soren further questioned his decision to come here.

He had to distract himself from these thoughts, lest he end up wandering the plains without reason or purpose and quickly turned his head to a nearby conversation between a few people: Arthur, Curvis and Midnea. Taking a few moments to compose himself, Soren then walked up to them as they ate breakfast, taking a seat in a free chair and straighten up his upper clothing, clearing his throat as well. "Hello there." Soren simply said as he sat down. "My name is Soren. Are, any of you here Humans from the World Below? My attention is usually far better than I'm demonstrating here, but my thoughts have preoccupied me much as of late." He continued in a straightforward manner, all the while picking up a particularly large Apple of a deep red colour, polishing it and taking a bite after his finished talking.

"Eat an apple, it'll make you look like even more of an asshole." *DING*

-Arthur- Raiden's Villa- Breakfast with Curvis and Soren-

Arthur was surprised as Soren approached them, but overall deslighted as well. He'd had a conversation with Raiden, he was more than eager to have one with Soren too. "Yup! That's us! I'm Arthur, and this is my friend Curvis. An honor to make your acquaintance, Soren." Arthur said as he shook Soren's free hand. "I think all of us have our heads in the clouds as of lately, with so much happening in the span of a day." Arthur added. There was so much he wished he could ask still, but he figured, the best and most important thing he could do was to enjoy this world while they were allowed in it, and leave such impressions behind. "The breakfast was amazing. All of these fruits and meats I've never heard of or seen before, it's almost like a dream." He admitted, scratching his cheek slightly.

-Helios - Castle Courtyard - Aura, Aurion, Gel(?), Henry and Prince Jynn-

Helios nodded softly towards Jynn. "No problem. Least I could do." Helios said as he smiled back at Mel, petting it a bit more before letting go. "Henry is quite the rebel. But he means well. I'm sure he'll talk to you freely once he gets comfortable. You two share some ideals, after all." Helios said, glancing over at the group. It ached his chest to think that he wouldn't be able to keep an eye on them, but they would be much safer away from here, and away from Maxis overall. As for him, he would have to wait for further orders...and wonder what would be in store for him as part of his redemption. Soon an armored man, the one that Maxis was trying to have Henry fight, stepped up, introducing himself as Meksis, though he seemed to not know who Jynn was...despite Maxis having almost dragged him to a fight to the death that was only stopped because Jynn stepped in. Helios couldn't help but to smile at himself at that. This armor had a much lighter aura than Maxis. Almost innocent like, or fresh. Though, in his eyes, anyone was better than Maxis at this point. "Sorry to see you getting dragged by Maxis into a fight. Though I did not expect anything less of him."

--Queen Shiva and Yevgeni Malachite -- Kilkis Seres: Queen's Study--

How surprising Eclaire's words were to Yevgeni, and how wise.  The words she uttered were quite on-par with his own ideals, much to his relief.  He'd been involved with the royal court for many more years than he dared to count, and yet his words--though reasonable--fell upon deaf ears when it came to speak with the queen.  It would be useful to have someone echoing his own thoughts that held more weight to Shiva, in contrast to himself.

"Yes, Your Highness," Yevgeni said, placing his palms on the table, fingers splayed.  "She is correct.  While there are those worthy of survival, there are those whose selfish ways will only interfere with the very peace that we've sought and sacrificed.  Your intentions are noble, but it is not possible, nor even plausible in our current situation."

Silence rang throughout the study, the light within the queen's eyes ebbing away.  This burden was greater than any she had previously had to bear.  It had become all the more worse after her visit with Raiden.  She tucked her hands into her lap, stiffness stealing away her posture and gentler nature.

"Very well, it is now clear as to what we must do."  She turned her gaze to both of them in turn, her expression unreadable.

"Yevgeni, I am appointing you as the ambassador of Kilkis Seres, for the time being.  Go to Mystras and speak with Lord Raiden.  Tell him what we have learned of the humans he hosts and how dangerous they are.  Insist that they return to their world, or make them return by force.

"Eclaire."  Her face cracked for only a brief moment, and it was in that moment that you could see her anguish.  The pain she felt in her difficult decision, the ones which she made, not from her heart, but for her kingdom.  For her people.  "I need you to go the augmented human and take him home.  He is too dangerous to have up here.  Should he resist, you have my permission to take his life."

The blond bowed his head upon Shiva's request, though inwardly he thought she was a fool.  Tell Raiden everything?  Surely that couldn't be wise.  Perhaps he was in league with them, or perhaps Midnea would overhear.  No, there were too many risks.  What was she thinking?

And sending Henry back or killing him seemed ultimately unfair.  Besides, he rather liked Henry; he felt that the man, while strong-willed, would potentially be a useful asset to their cause.  However, he was in no position to speak back to the queen; he knew she wouldn't listen to a word.  He could only hope to dissuade Eclaire from obeying, but now was not the moment to do so.

"As you wish, My Queen," Yev spoke evenly, placing a hand on his chest as he bowed his head.  He rose from his chair, towering over Shiva as he looked down upon her.  He only stood there but for a moment, turning on heel and leaving the parlor.

If only he could get to Henry first . . . .

--Curvis Sourati -- Raiden's Villa: Dining room--

It seemed that Midnea was less than pleased with Curvis and Arthur's suggestions.  Several times Curvis opened his mouth to speak, but Midnea wouldn't permit it.  It soon became quite clear that she wouldn't have anything he had to say.  His opinion seemed useless. It took every ounce of Curvis' strength to swallow back his pride and listen to the woman's words.  While she did have a good point, he could never admit to himself that he was right.

She soon left them thereafter, resulting in Curvis stabbing his fork into the table.  It was a childish thing to do, but he felt childish at the moment.  Nothing was going the way he wanted it, and he couldn't help feeling that everything he'd worked for was in vain.  His dreams felt like they were shattering as quickly as fine glass, with him being incapable of doing anything except watching.

He calmed himself, however, especially when Soren had approached them.  The brunet straightened himself in his seat, watching Soren carefully.  He was a man he hadn't quite understood.  Why would a sentinel belonging to the queen employ himself under Raiden?  Did he have enough?  Was she as bad as he thought, or was there something more behind his motives?

"Yes, we are indeed," Curvis responded in conjunction to Arthur, nodding as Arthur introduced both of them by name.  He was a little surprised that the demonic fey was choosing to join them, but who was he to protest?  He attempted to steal a glance at Raleigh from across the room, though could barely make her out from around Soren.  She was being joined by a redheaded man, who casually gestured toward the stack of toast, but he couldn't decipher any of their words.

"Now, if I may be blunt," Curvis added, deciding it couldn't hurt to get straight to the point.  "Why are we being treated with such contempt by Lord Raiden?  Did he send you to keep an eye on us or, worse yet, determine if any of us are murderers like our supposed deserter?"  It was definitely a step out of his circle of security, but he wanted the truth rather than play more political games.

--Ren Mordecai -- Raiden's Villa: Dining Room--

He'd decided to take Raiden up on his offer of hospitality.  He couldn't recall the last time that he had bathed, and surely he smelled frightful.  While the kitchens and dining room greatly called out to him there was no denying the matter that cleaning up sounded highly appealing to him as well.

After only a short hour of dedicating some time to himself Ren appeared in the doorway of the dining room where everyone feasted upon their breakfast meal, looking much unlike the man who'd arrived at Raiden's doorstep.  His hair had been trimmed and detangled, his face whisker-free.  He was now dressed in a clean tunic and trousers, a navy-blue cape trimmed in gold happily billowing behind him.  It bore the Mystran symbol of unity, but Ren didn't mind it.  This was where his alliances stood now; he was now Mystran as far as he was concerned.  His dark eyes scanned the room, immediately taking note of a young woman sitting alone.  It was not her in particular that attracted him to her table but, rather, the mound of food which sat upon it.  A bony hand grasped the chair in front of Raleigh, his face gaunt but strangely not as eery as it had been previously.

"Excuse me, Miss," he addressed her politely and in a pleasant tone.  "Would you care if I joined you?  I am rather famished, and you seem to be in need of some good company.  My name is Ren, and I certainly hope I can prove to be as good of company as any."

--King Alderon -- Suite in Raiden's Villa--

The knock came as a surprise to the king, not assuming that Raiden would seek him out already.  He pushed himself away from his desk and ran a hand through his graying locks.  Did he appear as desperate as he felt?  He certainly hoped not.

It came as even greater of a surprise to find Midnea standing at his door, looking perhaps even more radiant than he had left her.

"My lady," he said, staring at her and seemingly at a loss for words.  Alderon opened the door wider, granting the witch entrance to the suite that he'd been granted.  Words didn't come readily even still, as Alderon closed the door upon Midnea's entrance.  He held his arms limply at his sides.  He clearly felt like a defeated man, seeing no hope of remedying the ties now lost between himself and Lord Raiden, all for his lack of care when selecting his companions for this journey.  A part of him wished to fall apart, to fall on his knees before Midnea and blurt out what a horrible king and father he was.  Another part of him wished to wring Raiden's neck for sending them home, along with that oaf of a queen that he seemed to worship.

Instead, he sank into a chair across from Midnea and said, "Did you have a fine breakfast?  Your face is glowing this morning.  I am truly sorry for offending you, my dear.  I spoke out of turn.  I hope that I may seek your forgiveness."  Of course, he was skirting around the problem, but it was all he could manage in his devastated state and broken heart.

--Everyth Castanova -- Sondon Courtyards--

Fear rose in the young woman's throat as Sifrei approached her, though he seemed sincere and his voice tender.  She was helpless without him, causing her to relax some, though what came next was far from what she had once imagined.

Her vision went from the black of nothingness to a sudden light, voices going through her head in a language that she didn't understand.  Were there others around her?  Was there more than one savior surrounding her?  And yet when her vision returned she was crouched down on the battlefield, surrounded by none other than a man . . . with wings.

Her violet eyes flickered up toward Sifrei, her brows raises concernedly.  "What are you?" she asked, as opposed to the more common question of "who."  She already understood that he was otherworldly, though it struck her as curious.  First Pracia and now him.  What other sorts of beings would they encounter, now that something had changed above ever since King Alderon had departed?

--Elia Cabret -- Kilkis Seres: Town Square--

Their arrival through the front gates of Kilkis Seres was rather uneventful.  The guards knew that Elia and Aqua were two of the individuals that were sent by Her Majesty to uncover the secrets of Mystras and Lord Raiden and that a party had been with them, though they hadn't assumed that the party would consist of a genie, wendigo, cyph, witcher, and kitsune.  They said nothing, however, except welcoming them to the city and stating that the queen would be gladdened of their return.

"Well, guys," Elia proclaimed loudly, throwing her hands behind her head and gleefully glancing at the tall turrets of the buildings surrounding them.  "We've finally made it, welcome to Kilkis Seres!"

her smile faded, however, as she turned around to steal a glance at all of her new friends.  Would this mean goodbye to them all?  Were their travels done?  She'd been rather interested in them all; they had quite the interesting stories to share on their way to the kingdom, plus she couldn't help but feel a sort of unity as they all had fought the punisher together.

"So, what are you guys going to do now?" she asked, voice hesitant.  "Are you off to go see the queen?"

- The Infiltrator and Nihil, currently taking their leave of Alastor and Rabiyu -

The Infiltrator cursed under his breath at the thoughts passing through his mind.  A Judge and the lack of evidence -- both not good for different circumstances.  It would make Rabiyu that much more difficult to kill, especially if the rumours surrounding her were true.  He had not much time to experience her methods of fighting firsthand, but it would be better not to make an enemy out of her anyways.  For now, he just needed to report this information to Raiden, and maybe find some evidence that would work in their favour and not the witch's.

"What a coincidence it is that you too do not like titles," commented The Infiltrator with a brief glimmer of a smile.  "I have discarded all titles, even my original name, and it is probably better that way.  There are dark magics out there that can be inflicted due to knowledge of a name, and now that the witch is back it is good practise to be cautious of giving one's name.  Until we meet again shortly, Lady Eliltari.  You too, Storm.  Careful not to run into any more revivified creatures thought extinct."

Taking three steps backward as he spoke before flipping around, the Infiltrator took his leave and slipped off down the streets, heading for the villa once again.  Perhaps Rabiyu would have noticed the lamp he had strapped on his back, and the oppressive feeling that engulfed him when close to Rabiyu ceased to weigh him down.  Now, in the silence, was the best time to say what truly was going on within his mind.

"Why did you interfere, shade?" he asked to the resident in the lamp, knowing Nihil could hear every word.

"Whyever did you think I did something?" burbled the darkness from beneath the lampshade.  "Perhaps one could say that it was ulterior or done at a whim of the girl?  Wait, why are you laughing?"

"It's funny because I never mentioned it was only while I was around her.  No need trying to hide it.  You caused that pain.  Why?"

"It is because I sensed the presence of another djinni that I interfered," Nihil spoke without missing a beat, probably sneering underneath that tasteful decorum, "a terrible one but another.  Two djinn are forbidden to get close to each other, an ancient rule constructed to save each other and everything around them.  What I did saved your life.  No need to thank me, even if it would be very welcome right now."

"Thanks, I guess," grunted the Infiltrator begrudgingly.

"You're welcome!  Now, let's see what this new knowledge will grant the original.  I wonder what his take will be on all of this, especially regarding these hidden humans.  They don't sound like much, but he will have a fit, I am certain."

"Yes, he shall indeed 'have a fit'," commented back the spy, breaching through one of the gates and into the next district.  "And do keep yourself hidden even in voice when others are about.  Both of those sentries seemed confused when hearing both of us."

"While I think they would find your taste of weaponry strapped onto your back more baffling, I agree.  Silence is what I prefer, anyway," burbled the dark genie in finality.

"Uh-huh, sure," sneered The Infiltrator, rushing ever upward and forward towards Raiden's villa.

- Raleigh Marin, within Raiden's villa's grand hall with a newcomer -

Raleigh glanced up from the mound of food on her plate -- stress eating was something that haunted her and her wallet every now and again -- and was quite surprised to see the young man she saw escorted in earlier, and as cleaned up as he was to boot.  The rags cloaking him and his filthy appearance was gone, but she still barely managed to recognise him.  However, he pointed towards a nearby mound of food, specifically toast, and she was not willing to part with it in full.

"Take only up to half of it or I'll stick you to the table with a spoon," she snarked, brandishing her scooping device and, after a moment's hesitation, reluctantly pushing the platter of toast halfway between them.  She breathed out a sign and dug into her plate.  "Nevertheless, I would appreciate the company, if only for a little while.  Ren, is it?  What brings you here?  I hear you were a guest, as we are."

((A post for Raiden and the Infiltrator conversing will come up when I have some spare time.))

-Eclaire: Queen's Study-

Eclaire listened quietly, and soon she was given a task. Standing a bit straighter, she waited until Yevgeni finished.

"I will take him back, my Queen." She said confidently. But once the blonde elf left, Eclaire relaxed and came over. Going behind the desk, she knelt and took one of Shiva's icy hands. She gently brought it to her cheek, where Shiva would find warmth.

"I can feel the tempest within you, Shiva." She said softly. "Your face, your wall, briefly cracked as you spoke..." the succubus paused. "When my mother gave me the choice of death or exile, she had hoped that I would take the third option...the one to stay and fight. But for the good of her, for Mare Luxuria, I chose to leave and be exiled from the home I grew up in. I, better than most, know the terrible decisions one must make when they rule. I understand the tempest within your heart." She smiled. "I will stand by your decisions, and you. You do not have to go through this tempest alone. Jynn, Maxis, and I. We will back you, even if we disagree." She let go and stood, before bowing. "I will take Henry back at once and return with all haste Shiva." She straightened up. "So please..." Eclaire looked away while blushing. "Don't get into trouble while I'm gone...I don't h...have...anyone else who...believes in me..." she seemed to grow a bit sad. "I know I sound selfish, Shiva...but please...be safe." She turned and began leaving, before she did something really stupid. Like kiss her.

What is wrong with me...why am I acting so childish...so stupid? She's a queen. I am a mistake...

Then she stopped, hand on the door.

Is this how they felt...when they began seeing each other?

Eclaire was still.

is this how you felt...mother?

-Takao, feeling energetic: Xion, not feeling the love tonight-

Takao dragged her sister along, grabbing Bherna's hand. "Let's go! I have to tell the Queen what my goddess said!" She was less happy though...she grew a bit more serious, despite her energy.

Xion frowned. There was hints, whispers. She could feel a familiar energy that had passed through such doors before her.

"...if it is her..." she muttered.

-Morana - At Kilkes Seres - Rufus, Mikhail, Typhon, Aqua, Jari and Elia -
Morana couldn't help but to awe at the city. She hadn't been in the capital for a long, long time. Years actually. She was too used to traveling from place to place, keeping a distance from the capital to avoid any complaints of the group of Wendigos stinking up the place. Now they had countless of possibilities, including the attempt of gaining an audience with the Queen herself. Morana looked over at Typhon, her voice low. "It is said that the records of your kind have been erased and eradicated, to erase it from existence and history. Though it is impossible to fully erase things from history without any remnants being left behind. Not only might the Queen have answers...but the Royal Library might have some too." Morana offered. The Royal Library might as well be the Alexandria of the Overworld. If there was a book of something forbidden, to be hidden away from the masses and population, the royal library was sure to be one of the few places to hide such knowledge. She doubted that it would be found in common libraries. But maybe in the royal one they could have a chance. "So seeking an audience with the queen might be our best bet to help Typhon here." Morana concluded, though she paused for a moment, looking to the side. "But first. Wait here." Morana said, casually walking into the crowd, as if following something or someone. A few minutes later she came back with a handful of ice cream cones. "We did say we were stopping for ice cream." Morana said before casually handing out the ice cream cones to the group. "I figured since you're a bug you'd like strawberry." Morana said playfully as she handed Typhon his. Ice cream was good for everyone.

 - Alastor - The Storm - Streets of Mystras with Rabyiu -

Alastor scoffed at the Infiltrator's statements about titles, as he could somewhat relate, in fact the part about names being used for curses was well known to him, which is why he hid his true name  and used the Alias of 'Alastor The Raging Storm.' Regardless. Their business was done ,and he could see the infiltrator's frustration at the situation even as the man ran off.

"Weirdo." Alastor muttered under his breath as he looked at Rabiyu, still with his helmet on his head, always cautious to take it off. "Come on, lets go. Lady of the mists." he spoke in his usual tone. As he began walking back to Raiden's home.

- Alicia - The Violet Storm - Flowering Hyssop with Dawson -

Alicia shot off a small smile at Dawson's words. "Don't need to feel sorry for me, I Chose this life. I could have become an alchemist or a court mage if I wanted." Alicia replied with a relaxed expression. "Its good work, you'd be surprised at the jobs you find going from town to town." She explained as he took a sip of her drink. As Dawson began speaking about his earlier hunt. Which interested her quite a bit.

"You killed a Tigrex? nice, Must have had quite the strategy to take it down." Alicia commented. "As for me...I killed A rajang a few days past. I got  job to kill it and I needed some of its fur. two birds with one stone." Alicia spoke with a smile. "Quite electric, the fight was. Too bad it has a weakness to ice magic." Alicia finished her drink as she spoke.

- Henry - The Dreadnaught - Kilkis Seres Courtyard -

Henry stood silent alongside Aurion as he watched the events unfold, one would think he was making a plan of escape or something. Some way to not have to go back and get out of Kilkis Seres with least casualties possible. Except he wasn't. he wasn't thinking about escaping. He was more busy thinking about the situation he was in and what Ariana was up to within his mind. Which troubled him greatly, Being posessed was not a very good feeling.

Henry watched as Helios was called by Jynn and the both of them spoke to one another, probably about him. He couldn't hear their talk but it was rather obvious that Jynn was unneasy of Henry. yeah well he didn't do a lot to help it either, since his outburst with his mother probably tainted any first impressions they could have had.

Sighing and shrugging his shoulder as Meksis spoke to him. "You're the first who said that yet." Henry sarcasticatly replied with a smirk as his expression returned to its normal, silently in thought one.

As he decided to begin walking towards Jynn and Helios. Why was he doing this? well, Henry felt bad for calling his mother out in front of him, of course he would've done it again in a heartbeat, but apologies were in order.

"Hey" Henry spoke as he walked beside Jynn. "So, prince...we got off the wrong foot at the hall." Henry spoke as he embarrassedly rubbed the back of his head with his hand. "I want to apologize for lashing out at you and your mother like that, I am quick to lose my temper...especially now..." Henry apologized, sincerity and honesty were clear in his tone. He wasn't being sarcastic or with any rude undertones. He was sorry for what he did back there and how he spoke with Jynn.

"Sorry for causing such a stir for you and your mother. It seems trouble follows me wherever I go..." Henry continued, with a sad tone on his voice. It would be a rare sight for anyone in the vicinity. But it was truthful. As he stood quiet for a second, his eyes gazing at nothing for a few moments, Indicating he was having a small talk with Ariana, not that they'd know.

'Asking for forgiveness?'

'I insulted his mother right in front of him, what am I to do?'

'Stick to your ideals'

'I am sticking to them, I just don't need more enemies'

'And you think the prince will help you?'

'I dunno...'

Shaking his head as he turned to Jynn again as he tried to smirk, but couldn't. His expression would merely return to the apologetic one he had now.

"I at least hope we don't have to be enemies" Henry spoke to Jynn as he extended a hand. For a hand shake of course.

- Rabiyu - Streets of Mystras -
It was certainly interesting watching Alastor and his companion interact, it amused Rabiyu to a point, but she didn't show that. Both were right about names and titles, but at this moment she was an envoy of the North, and speaking falsehood was something she wouldn't do when on a mission like this. Besides, it wasn't like either Eliltari or Rabiyu were her true name, her true name was forbidden knowledge even for her, a name that was locked behind a wall of lost memories.
"Do you really think he is a weirdo?" she asked while looking at Alastor, "I think he is interesting."
Sure, he was interesting, but what was more interesting was the thing he had strapped on his back, or those movements whenever she was close. It didn't matter in the end, she had more important things to worry about. One of them being the Witch, and a memory from a long, long time ago.

Unknown point in time - Location: Northern Continent - Praestigia: The Forest of Illusions -

It had been a couple of centuries since Eliltari found herself in Praestigia, ever since she fought the Heart of the Forest and freed the realm of it's influence. Now the Forest was a safer place for everyone. Not completely safe, but safer than before. It was still dangerous to wander alone or without any knowledge of how the forest worked, which was the reason Eliltari, as the new warden, choose to remain there.
"Why look, lost little warden. Where are you trying to get to?"
One day, one particular strange day, she was found by a couple of creatures from the forest, two very particular cats. She would learn to deal with their antics with the passing of the years, but this one meeting was one that she remembered clearly, even to present day.
"Strange. I've never seen you in the forest before." Eliltari said quietly, confusion evident in her face, "What is your business?"
The smaller cat smiled while floating around the Elf. She had earned the respect of many, if not all, of the dwellers of the forest, but she was a little bland.
"Business? That's such a serious word for such a grave problem," the older cat said while snickering, "It is indeed grave, but it is not serious, nothing is serious, seriously, it's true."
There was going to be a headache later in the day, Eliltari knew this. It had been awhile since the last time she spoke with someone after all.
"If you have no business with me then I will be on my way," she said, " I do not have the time to deal with a couple of cats that enjoy spouting increasingly creepy rhymes for fun."
The two cats smiles and and floated around the Elf. She was going to be fun indeed.
"Run, run, run, fun, fun, fun! Oh, who can you save?" the younger cat said.
"Certainly not the merry old Queen, soon to gyre and gimble in the wabe!" the older one finished.
While Eliltari was obviously confused by the nonsensical words of the two cats, she did listened closely. Perhaps, just perhaps, they would say something important.
"We have seen what was, and also what is," the older one said while slowly fading and reappearing, "And we will tell YOU what will be. Consider it a gift, for helping those who needed to be saved, even if they did not realize they needed to be."
Both cats reappeared in front of Eliltari, and slowly bowed to her.
"My name is Dinn," the younger one said,
"You may call me Devnul. And from the Cheshire race we are, and the Eyes of the Forest will be, "the older cat said. " The Forest requested that you learned of what is to come. A day, which is not today, but one day will be. So listen well."
Dinn and Devnul, those two would later come to enjoy spending time with the Elf, for it was in her nature to push away those who wanted to be near, something that the cheshire twins kept trying to change, for her own good.

The Barrier of Worlds came crashing open, a creak, a groan, a sigh.
Once locked and hidden, till time choose, and oh, now me, oh my.
That sniding pleading Witch does come from the world below.
And now we see, the Maiden of Ice who's World shall be destroyed.
With endless hate and brilliant schemes, the Witch of Worlds devours.
Tick tock, tick tock, goes the clock. There comes Her final hours.
Best use them well, but remember yourself, the words left in her wake.
She galumphs and grows near, be careful don't fear, that could be your last mistake.

Eliltari spend many minutes in silence while listening to Dinn and Devnul, she had no idea what their warning meant, nor would she know until many, many years later. The Elf did thank both cats for their message, but it was not yet time to go, they still wanted to play with the Elf, and play with her for the whole day they did, much to Eliltari's chagrin.

Rabiyu smiled and sighed quietly, she remembered what the Cheshire Twins told her that day many, many years ago, and now it made complete sense. She then looked at Alastor.

"Besides, Master Alastor," she said calmly, "there are others that are far more weird than him. Trust me."

- Sifrei Mond - Royal Training Grounds of Sondon Castle -
Sifrei tilted his head to the side, wondering what the young girl mean by "what" instead of "who"? Then it clicked. She had a weak connection with the arcane, and that only meant that she could barely see the silhouette of his wings, maybe even more.
"A friend, if you want," Sifrei answered with a smile, and offering his hand to Everyth, "and it seems that your savior too."
The Archangel helped Everyth to stand up, he was not going to argue about what she saw, nor he was going to answer her question. If everything was right, then no one would be able to notice that small detail. She was special, in a way, and he was sure that in the case that the girl told others about his wings she would be called crazy.
"And now I would like to ask you to leave. The Princess went that way," he said while pointing at the direction Visco went, "she was going to take your other friend to a safe place."
He looked at Everyth, there wasn't any signs of deceit or bad intentions on his face, just calmness.
"And I suggest that you do the same, or else, something bad could happen to you, something worse than what you experienced before. And I'm sure that the Princess would be sad if you lost your life here." he said to Everyth, "but if you want to keep fighting against that woman, then, by all means, be my guest, just be careful."

- Aeternum Siblings - Courtyard of Kilkis Seres -
Both siblings followed Henry and listened to what he had to say. These past few days had been stressful to say the least.
"Please, Your Highness, try to understand, coming here was hard, Henry's life has been hard too," Aurion said, "but knowing that the reason our home is in such state is because someone decided to left a whole world to rot, just for being...well, I am sure you can understand that it as been overwhelming, for all of us."
Aura was next, and she wasn't looking that much happy.
"And we can tell that not everyone is happy with us being here, especially your mother, the Queen," Aura said coldly, " or that other one. The one who keeps seeking a fight. We understand that we are not welcomed here, but I find it ridiculous that your mother has the authority to doom an entire world out of selfishness."
The younger sibling was angry, but her face didn't showed any emotion, she didn't wanted to cause more problems.
"I dare to make the assumption that she is not the only ruler in your world, correct? If so then how is it possible that she gets to decide what to do?" Aura asked Jynn, "People suffer for something they are not aware of, and just because one measly-"
Aurion raised his hand in front of Aura and shook his head, Aura sighed and looked away.
"My apologies, Your Highness, we mean no ill will towards you, or any of your kind," Aurion said while bowing, "It's just that, like our friend Henry here, your mother didn't make a good first impression. No offense, Henry. We too hope we don't have to be enemies."

Jynn Venas - Kilkes Seres

Meksis walks up to Jynn and assures the prince that he handled the situation with Maxis very well. Jynn shrugged. "Did all I could do to stop the madness." Meksis reveals his name and title, then he asks for Jynn to reciprocate the introduction. "I'm Prince Jynn."

Just then Henry appears next to Jynn and apologizes for his behavior in front of the prince. He then extends a hand to Jynn. The prince then shakes Henry's hand willingly. "You know, what she said back there makes me want to punch her in the face too. She kept telling me lies for centuries, and now I finally find out the truth regarding the conditions in your world. In a way, I should thank you." He releases Henry's hand. "Unfortunately, there's not much I myself can do for your world. At least not yet. As a prince there's only some things I'm able to do."

Just then, the siblings approach him as well. Aurion mentions that finding out that Shiva letting a whole world rot is extremely overwhelming. As it would be. For Jynn, knowing that Shiva has lied to him about the conditions of the world below has certainly overwhelmed him as well. Aura then ridiculed Shiva's decision about letting an entire world rot. But Aurion interrupted, apologizing and reminding that they bear no ill intentions to they feys. Jynn puts a hand on one of the siblings' shoulders, and aims a lecture to all the humans. "Guys, listen. You have not made enemies of me. I understand that you are extremely angry at my mother for her actions." He lets go of the siblings' shoulders, and turns around with his arms crossed. "I'm not very supportive of her motives either, as I have learned that she had lied to me for centuries." He turns back to the group and itches his head. "It's kinda...... weird. The fact that she refuses to tell me something I should know in the future." He pauses for a bit. "Anyways, she holds a great hatred towards humans, as the latest king, my grandfather, has been slain by humans during a war. But I don't share that grudge. So you have no reason to be intimidated by me."

(Will post for the other two soon.)

--Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres--

The warmth of Eclaire's cheek seeped into her frigid fingers, easing her tension slightly.  She lifted her hazel eyes up to meet Eclaire's and felt comfort and reassurance in her gaze.  Despite the atrocities she knew she was performing, she was very grateful that someone could at least understand the burden she faced and the pain that her own actions caused her.

"Thank you," she said, voice soft.  "I . . . really needed someone to believe in me, too, after all of the people I've disappointed throughout my life."

Her thoughts painfully shifted to Raiden, to her angry father when she'd initially refused the crown.  She also thought of Henry, the man who both angered and terrified her, whom she also pitied.  Sometimes she even wondered how her own son felt about her, his look of resentment as she'd left the throne room etched in her mind.  Had her efforts been in vain, when all she'd done throughout her life was try to do what was best for everyone?  She didn't know, but she did know that Eclaire understood her.  She accepted her, just as Shiva accepted Eclaire.

This, between the two women, was mutual.

"You stay safe as well, Eclaire," Shiva responded while the rose-haired woman remained in the doorframe.  "Please don't underestimate the human.  He has our power, but I know that if anyone can talk sense into him that it would be you."

--Yevgeni Malachite and Elia Cabret -- Kilkis Seres Town Square--

A part of him didn't know why he'd come back to Kilkis Seres, let alone place himself under the employ of Queen Shiva.  He could've just as easily pursued his long and happy life as a veteran in his manor outside of the kingdom, but instead he just couldn't keep his nose out of political affairs.  Sometimes his own curiosity frustrated him.

However, sitting back and allowing things to unfold was never his way.  He needed to take part in the action, else there were those whose hands could destroy the very work he'd set up for years . . . something he couldn't allow to have happen.

Which was why, much to his disturbance, he found himself preparing the rapier at his belt yet again for another long voyage on the road, down the very path he trekked only the night prior.  It was times like this that Yevgeni Malachite hated being himself.

As he passed through the castle halls he heard quite a bit of commotion, though he didn't have much interest in the goings-ons or those involved parties.  The sooner that he could return the better, hopefully with a cease-and-desist letter signed and accepted from Lord Raiden and the humans that he'd held in his company.  Before long he found himself in the bustling streets of Kilkis Seres, being bowled over by a rambunctious raven-haired youth with an annoyingly high-pitched voice.

---moments before--

"Oh, ice cream!  And my favorite flavor!" Elia exclaimed delightedly, as Morana had returned with her favorite treat that she'd excitedly told everyone of.  Acting like a child, she dive-bombed for one of the cones, tripping over the folds of her cloak that she stood upon and colliding to the ground.  A person broke her fall, much to her convenience, though her face fell when she'd realized her savior from cobblestone bricks.

"Oh, it's you," she said, voice flat, reaching out for one of Morana's ice cream cones and giving it a lick as though nothing had happened.  No apology and no further statement came from the raven-haired girl, as she turned her back on Yev and continued to eat her ice cream.

"As careless as ever, it would seem," Yev returned curtly, brushing himself off and rising to his feet.  He shot a glare at Elia's back and wished to say more about her horrendous manners, but instead thought better of it.  There were some people worth a wasted breath, and Elia wasn't among said individuals.  "And I see that you all have made it back in one piece.  You've even managed to make some new friends along the way."

The stench of the wendigo made him want to wrinkle his nose, but he tried to fight it off for the glory of everything good.

--King Alderon -- Private suite in Raiden's villa--

There was something rather charming about the way Midnea propped herself sitting on the bed.  Had she done her hair differently?  But alas, Alderon was getting sidetracked.  He ran a hand through his graying hair, attempting to collect himself in a way a king should be.  But what kind of king was he, with his dying world and cursed daughter?  He knew that everything Midnea said was true, but he couldn't bring himself to act upon it.

She then asked him the most difficult question: what was he going to do.

He rubbed his short beard thoughtfully with his ringed fingers, gaze fixating into the far wall beyond Midnea.  Finally Alderon turned his gaze upon her, his expression holding something that had been lost since the day prior: determination.

"My decision," he said, voice soft.  "Is to stay, no matter the cost.  Will you help me, milady?"

--Ren Mordecai -- Raiden's Villa: dining room--

The redhead cocked a brow at Raleigh's defensiveness.  He gave her a swift bow before taking a seat across from her.  "Rest assured that I will not devour all of your toast, for being stabbed isn't on my priority list," said Ren, slight humor filling his tone as he reached over and snatched a couple of pieces to butter.  "It does amuse me, however, that you're so protective of your food.  Have you been nearly starved out before?"

Ren snarfed down several pieces of toast in silence as he took in Raleigh's question.  He didn't seem entirely eager to answer her, and perhaps for a moment Raleigh would think he didn't plan to.  Eventually, however, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, his dark eyes boring deeply into hers.  "I am a guest, yes, though probably not in the manner as yourself.  Someone freed me from the dreadful prisons in the depths of Isopolis in the name of Lord Raiden, though apparently Raiden supports the notion that it wasn't one of his men."

He took a long drink out of a jeweled glass, containing some beverage that--quite hopefully--didn't contain alcohol.  Again he began to speak to her again: "Regardless, I am here now to support Lord Raiden's cause, as his interests align with my own, and I can sense that he is a good man worthy of my loyalty.  What about yourself, though?  Are you a part of this group of humans that traversed worlds and found yourselves here?  If so, I greatly pity you.  Your world is a mess."

It wasn't an insult, though it was possible that Raleigh may interpret it that way.  He went on to divert his attention from her again, casually piling his plate with mounds of scrambled eggs and some fruit medley of a varied sort, much unlike anything that the humans would be familiar with.

--Everyth Castanova -- Sondon Courtyards--

The raven-haired woman accepted Sifrei's hand as he aided her to her feet.  She swayed on the spot, but quickly regained her composure.  She eyed him skeptically.  There was something very strange about this man, something otherworldly and yet quite human, too.  A part of her wondered if Sifrei was in league with Pracia, though she had no evidence to point at this possibility.  He'd saved both her friends' lives as well as hers, where he'd have no reason to if he was allied with the Punisher.  One major question formed within her mind, which immediately rose to the tip of her tongue without a moment's pause.

"Why are you helping us?" Everyth demanded, hands clasped around her elbows.  "How did you know this battle was taking place?  Do you not fear for your own safety, stumbling upon the battlefield like this?"

Maybe the man simply had a good soul with pure intents, but rare were those in the present day.  She glanced over in the direction that Visco and Effie had disappeared; they had been granted leave, but was Sifrei giving them false security so that they'd walk right into his trap?  She couldn't be sure, and she wouldn't play right into his hands without feeling more confident that his intentions were good.

- Lord Raiden, The Infiltrator and Nihil, shortly before the breakfast feast and conversing in the reading study -

"You are certain that this is the case?" Raiden spoke, exhausted from coming back from the trip to meet Shiva.  "There is no possibility for error in this assumption?"

Lord Raiden was seated in one of the leather armchairs, his head perched on top of a fist.  The Infiltrator, maskless and almost perfectly mirroring Raiden in appearance, sat opposite him in the other armchair.  The second was writing in another of Raiden's journals with surprising ease, considering the entirety of it was in code.

"I'd vouch entirely on it," commented The Infiltrator without his eyes peeling from the book, "even though I have no proof beyond eyewitnesses.  Perhaps the humans are stowaways or spies for Alderon, but I have no clues as to why they were unaccounted for.  In addition, the creature was genuine, but the company, including Alastor and this envoy of the North, had wounded it to the point of death.  Long enough did I see it to observe that it burned away, leaving little trace of its existence.  Even the human armour in which it had concealed itself had burned away.  How can such metal burn away?  Either these doom hounds are capricious creatures or there is dirty work afoot or both.  I'm willing to bet it is the last of the three, especially concerning the return of our disreputable adversary."

"Midnea," Raiden groaned, rubbing his eyes in annoyance.  "To think she would have such creatures at her disposal means that we must be wary of the next strike she has planned against us.  Sadly I doubt we can do anything to counter her."

"We can kill her," replied the spy with a shrug.  "I can make it look like a complete accident, and I was about to take the liberty of interrogating her with our shadowy friend when the commotion happened.  Perhaps it would have been better to put the knife to her throat then and there than--"

"We must not do any such thing!  We have our great plan, and doing such will weaken it to dissolution.  Our human allies will suspect, and the hope of uniting the efforts of humanity and all fey will shatter like a mirror.  The king Alderon is being advised by the woman.  Her death will ruin all possibility of peace."

"But you are playing a heavily weighted game, and not in our favour," continued The Infiltrator, snapping shut the journal.  "Her return is dangerous.  She will be attempting to return to her station as a ruler by using our situation in her favour, and so far it is working.  Better it is to cut our losses and end her life than continue to risk."

"While that may be the case and I want her dangerous presence to be removed entirely, it cannot be done by our hand, nor the queen's once Alderon is informed of Queen Shiva's and my understanding of matters."

The Infiltrator scoffed and rose from his seat, every motion he made in lack of deference.  Raiden followed him on his feet shortly thereafter.

"Teshub, listen to me," he called out from the front of the chair, only the crackling fireplace being heard otherwise.  "We cannot do anything here, but it doesn't mean the North cannot aid us.  If this envoy wants to know our side of the plight, I can only agree to share with her what we know.  Unfortunately any resulting action is theirs to decide, but I feel that Asura's and Leviathan's help will result in the culmination of all of our aspirations and dreams.  Midnea will be either banished, dead, or worse.  Shiva will not have to step down.  Anarchy will not reign after a tumultuous shift of power.  Our plan will be resolved with the unification of the worlds without the destruction of either or both.  Is that not betterment?"

The Infiltrator revolved on his heel, eyes aflame.

"It is betterment, yes:  betterment for you.  But what about me and my desires?  I gave up everything, all individuality, to be your pawn, and even now I am not sure of what I crave.  You want peace, you want Shiva, you want unity, and you want salvation for all.  These are desires without backing.  Actions must be made to change situations, not inaction and scheming to get everything perfectly situated."

Raiden was struck speechless, unsure of how to put any of his thoughts into words, and The Infiltrator took his silence as a reason to leave.  Putting his mask on and tying the blue ribbons strapped to it around the back of his head, he left the reading study.  The cone of silence which was fielded around the room to prevent descrying was disenchanted by the open door.

"You sound like quite the tyrant," crooned Nihil, appearing from his lamp in a sea of black mass and a grin of the brightest white.

"It's not my intent," voiced Raiden, morosely trying to stare into the fire.

"And yet," spoke on the dark djinni, whirling in front of Raiden's visage before reentering the lamp, "for all intents and purposes, it is the truth, isn't it?"

- The Infiltrator, meeting up with Alastor and Rabiyu in Mystras' streets -

The Infiltrator needed time to clear his thoughts, and the open air of the streets, as well as the peoples littering the streets, made the perfect setting to relax and unwind.  Outside of the villa, The Infiltrator felt free, or at least freer.  He still shouldered the responsibility of delivering a message, but luckily he found the two within a short period of time.  He came to a stop upon coming close to them and offered a bow.

"I informed Lord Raiden that you both would be coming.  He will be ready for you shortly."

- Rufus Contralto and Jari Coriander, mixed in with an ice cream party -

Jari, broken from his concentration on Aqua's situation, was more than happy to accept the ice cream from Morana, accepting the cone with abundant thanks.  He took a number of laps from the delightful frozen treat, and it was as it always was:  better than he could have imagined previously.  Foxchildren had a deep love for ice cream, so much so that they made their own variant out of frozen yoghurt, but nothing could replicate the sweet taste of heavy cream.

"So good," he replied dreamily between licks.  "Thank you very much, Miss.  I don't get much of this where I'm from.  Heavy cream is sanctioned for the cat races for the most part in Mystras, and we foxchildren have to get our fix of ice cream elsewhere."

Rufus wanted to grab an ice cream as well, following suit of everyone else in the group, but once again he found himself slipping through everything and unable to eat.  Pooh-poohing over the lack of handling any delicious-looking objects, he thanked Morana for thinking of him and slipped upwards.  Now up in the air, he "seated" himself on a nearby sign and kicked his legs out like a child, humming as he did.  The area about him was bustling with people and activity, and he loved it.

-Morana - At Kilkes Seres - Rufus, Mikhail, Typhon, Aqua, Jari, Elia and Yev-
Morana watched as Elia did her best to ignore the same person that had caught her fall. They knew each other, and for whatever reason that she would most likely pry into, they did not like each other. Morana glanced up at the elf. His stature and overall aura carried a sense of dignity and elegance that seemed to fit with the capital itself. "We all encountered a very unruly being that had to be out down for the sake of the safety of everyone else. Prince Jynn was there too, though he seemed to have been injured. Hopefully he got back here safe and sound." Morana explained as she ate her ice cream, staring up at Yev as she tilted his head. "Due to the circumstances we have all returned together...so, who are you?" Morana asked, pointing her ice cream at Yev before continuing to eat it. "We're here to see the queen by the way, so you're in the way. Shoo shoo." Morana added as she waved her hand playfully at him.

-Helios - Castle Courtyard - Aura, Aurion, Gel(?), Henry, Meksis and Prince Jynn-

Helios sighed in somewhat relative relief. Henry apologized, Jynn declared that they would be friends, Meksis was not trying to murder people, everything was going great. All of this stress would have turned his hair white if his hair wasn't already that color. "I'm so glad." Helios said, with a soft smile. Though his concern for the world below was equally as concerning as everyone else in the group. The world below was dying, and the Overworld continued to live on without any consequences. All because of a war that happened much long ago. "(We should of looked more into the history of the world below back then...)" Helios thought, biting his bottom lip slightly. Ren was always the historian and scholar, and it was through him that they discovered these ancient scriptures describing the world below. But were there more? Could they still be there? Even if he looked, what could he possibly find? Maybe the make up of the barrier, and maybe, a way for it to be taken down without sacrificing one world or another. Maybe he could find it out after all. "(To finish what we started.)" Helios thought. That was a thought. To not let the deaths be in vain. That, he could fight for as well. "We will figure something out. By this point in time, after witnessing so much...I don't believe that the impossible is unattainable any longer."

- Aeternum Siblings - Courtyard of Kilkis Seres -
The Siblings, mostly Aurion, nodded at the Prince. He looked like a nice guy, nicer than the Queen, at least.
"Just don't go against the Queen's orders, Helios" Aurion said, "you just got back and I am sure you are not in a good place in the Queen's eyes right now."
Aura was still slightly mad, but while the others were talking, her mood changed.
"Be careful, Helios, whether you like it or not, you will be treated like a stranger now that you are back. " she said calmly, "But we have faith in you, we know that you will try your best."
Whatever was that would happen in the future the siblings would be ready, even if they had to return to the world below, even if they had to return to their normal lives after witnessing a whole world different than their own.

- Rabiyu - Streets of Mystras -
The walk towards Raiden's Villa had been a quiet one, apparently Alastor wasn't much of a conversationalist, which Rabiyu wasn't either. Instead the High Elf was wondering her future course of action would be. One one hand the North would help Raiden in whatever he was planning to do to fully open the barrier. Second choice was to simply return home and continue like nothing happened. The third and final option was the least expected of all, help Shiva. The Tide Mother was pretty reluctant to engage with anything involving Shiva. Apparently something happened in the past, something that the Tide Mother always avoided to talk about. The King knew, but those were private matters between the couple, something that neither Rabiyu or the other judges wished to intrude. After a few minutes the Infiltrator came back, and apparently Raiden was going to offer an explanation.
"You have my thanks," Rabiyu said politely, "I fear that the longer we postpone this, the Witch will make more moves against anyone who stands in her way."

- Sifrei Mond - Royal training grounds of Sondon Castle -
"Why? Why not? Anyone would help if they saw people dying left and right, "Sifrei replied, " I was just passing by, when I had an encounter with a group of gentleman who wished to take my belongings. The mentioned a battle at the castle and here I am. And what reason is there to fear? Death is inevitable, death is just another path, one that we all must take."
That was true, to a point, he was also investigating the human world, but she didn't had to know about that.
"I prefer to help those who need a hand, and I think that is the reason the Princess and your friend are alive right now, and your eyesight is back," Sifrei said to Everyth, " I'm just a traveler, and apparently Destiny wanted me to come here, at this specific moment."
The Archangel heard the noise made by the two fighting, but after a few seconds he could feel the other fey moving away. He then looked at the red haired man and looked around.
"I think you should help that man," he said while pointing at Roger, "I need to make sure of something."
Sifrei watched as Everyth blinked before he slowed time and began to fly towards were the punished was moving, the young girl would be surprised to see that Sifrei was gone. After a moment he found the Princess, her friend and the fey, apparently she was being stopped from attacking the Princess. After landing, and summoning her spear, Sifrei picked the Princess up and moved her a decent distance away from Effie and the Punisher before making time flow again.
"And here I thought you were safe," he said to the Princess, "But apparently troubles like to follow you."
In one quick movement Sifrei was at Pracia's right side, who was being held by Effie, with his spear being thrusted towards the Punished in an attempt to stab her through her ribs.

-  Henry - The Dreadnaught - Kilkes Seres -

'The last king was murdered by humans?'

'Well it certainly explains the hate'

'But...how?'

'I wonder so too, how does a being as powerful as an overworld king be slain by such feeble beings.'

'Either she's lying. Or the king intended to be slain'.

'I like the former'

'More questions unanswered'

Henry stood quiet and with a melancholy expression on his face as Jynn spoke back, while he was glad to not have made enemies with the man. And glad that he didn't hold any ill feeling towards him or his friends. What he said puzzled him. How could a king, a being as magical as one in the overworld. Be slain by humans? He expected to get answers from this world. Not more questions. But alas. It didn't surprise him that the queen was witholding information from her own son. Normal for royalty to keep their own secrets.

Henry nodded at the Siblings as they shimmed in after Helios. Who tried to cheer him up. To no real avail.

"I would also like to give a piece of advice. You, Aura and Aurion know i've worked for Alderon in the past. When I was a Royal knight." Henry began speaking to Helios. "Follow the queen's orders. but never stray from your own path. Never stray from your own morality remember that no one, never, regardless of what anyone says, has the right to take a life. If she asks you do something you feel you do not wish to do. Don't do it. For you will live your entire life with regret if you do" Henry spoke to Helios, locking eye contact with the boy. As Henry gave a small smile. if Helios paid attention, he would notice Henry's eyes shift colors in a split second, quite literaly a blink and he would miss it. To a color reminiscent of a woman Helios knew...Ariana's.

"I've done horrible things in my days as a royal knight. Things I wish I hadn't done." Henry explained with a regretful tone. Before turning to Jynn. "Take care of Helios. At least make sure his moral compass stays the way it is. Its all I ask of you before I go. Prince." Henry asked Jynn, Henry's tone sounded very depressed at the end. Almost as if he was sure the queen wouldn't just let him go safely back into his world...but it was the contrary. He wasn't going to let himself go back, before having the means of stopping his world's demise.

- Alastor - The Storm - On his way to Raiden's study with Rabyiu -

"He has until I step foot inside to get ready, this cannot wait." Alastor spoke plainly to the Infiltrator as He ans Rabiyu kept a good pace until they reached Raiden's home. The guards at the front soon spotted Alastor walking alongside Rabiyu. As all they needed to know that she was trustworthy was a simple, yet effective nod from Alastor. As they soon approached the door.

"Piece of advice, Raiden does not like useless talk. Try not to gaze off into the myriad of books and stuff on his study." Alastor gave a dry piece of humor at Rabiyu and Raiden's expense as they went inside. As he motioned for Rabiyu to follow him to Raiden's study. avoiding the other guests and officials so as to not  delay this meeting.

It didn't take long for Alastor and Rabiyu to arrive at the door to Raiden's study. Alastor simply knocked three times, the usual. Three knocks. And the doorknob turning open. "Raiden. I bring the guest from the north." Alastor spoke as he slowly opened the door.

As Alastor entered the room, he examined the surroundings, nothing out of the ordinary. As he began taking off his helmet. Revealing his face. And looking at Raiden with a smirk. "You stare too much into that fireplace. Did I ever tell you that?" Alastor spoke in his usual way. With complete disregard for formality. One of Alastor's more endearing traits, if he could say so himself.

- Typhon - The Last Cyph - Ice cream blues -

Typhon could only stare blankly at the ice cream in his hands. He didn't know if he should eat it. Lick it. Or just swallow it. either way his lick would melt it, as his saliva was acidic. And swallowing it would be too out of place and horrendous for onlookers. ANd he had this damn wooden mask which not only was making his face itch but also made it hard to do anything else other than talk.

Seeing Elia's reaction to Yevgeni bumping into her. He chuckled. "ooh, the cold shoulder..." Typhon sarcasticaly spoke, for all to hear. Whether this was good or not remained to be seen.

"Acquaintance of yours, Elia?" Typhon asked the girl. Nonchalantly. Trying to mask his voice and make it sound...normal. But he was clearly not very good at it. With the ice cream cone on his hands the entire time, untouched. And in perfect state.

--Elia Cabret and Yevgeni Malachite -- Kilkis Seres: Town Square--

A "no" and "yes" echoed from Elia and Yevgeni's mouths respectfully upon Typhon's question on whether they were acquaintances.  Apparently that matter changed depending on whom you asked.  A grin curved the edge of the elf's mouth as he turned his attention upon Morana, addressing her question casually.

"Milady, Prince Jynn has returned safely, though not without his own share of losses, I'm afraid.  He has lost sight within one eye.  Her Majesty the Queen is searching for a reputable healer capable of remedying his eye, though I do not know where she stands upon this matter at present."

This attracted Elia's attention immediately, her tongue frozen before her ice cream cone mid-lick.  "I may be able to help," she piped up.  "My time magic is meh, but I am a practiced healer.  I should at least try."

Yevgeni shrugged, not even looking at her as he responded.  "Speak with the Queen on this matter.  I have other matters that I've been appointed to."

"On another note," he continued, holding his elbows as he eyed Morana curiously.  "I am impressed that you took down this menacing beast and all of you emerged in one piece.  Or were there others that fell?  Regardless, these are dangerous times in the Overworld, and I would recommend high caution if venturing beyond the city walls."

Elia seemed slightly perturbed by Yev's words, but didn't much express it.  She turned around and faced her new friends.  "I must see Prince Jynn.  If I'm able to heal him I simply have to try.  The longer we wait the worse his injury may become, and the more permanent said damage will be.  I can probably secure an audience with the queen for you, for those who would like to see her."

The blond elf considered her briefly, emerald eyes fixated upon her before darting over to Elia's friend.  This was the same elf that he'd seen with Elia during their initial fight with the trolls.  She seemed rather unscathed, and he could only hope this meant her magic was of superior quality to her raven-haired counterpart.

"My name is Yevgeni Malachite," he said, tearing his eyes from Aqua and back over toward Morana.  "I have been appointed as the ambassador for Kilkis Seres for now, though I have held other positions in the royal court in previous times.  I have no intention of holding any of you up any longer, as I best be on my own way.  Good day to you all."

He gave a slight bow, getting ready to take his leave and deliver Shiva's message to Lord Raiden.  Or, at least something similar to her message.

--Everyth Castanova -- Sondonian Courtyard--

Everyth's violet eyes frantically searched Sifrei, fearing that she was missing something critical yet his words rang authentic.  It was possible that he meant well, but why put himself in harm's way?  Were there really those out there who were truly that altruistic?  She hadn't thought so, but perhaps he was just one of those rare souls.  Regardless, she, Effie, and Visco had been saved, and there was no point in denying his gift with more questions.

"Very well, you have my thanks," she said, bowing her head to her chest.  "I am grateful that you've saved us.  I promise you that your actions will not be in vain."

About as quickly as he'd told her to help Roger, Sifrei was gone.  Everyth blinked several times, wondering if her vision were somehow still flawed, but despite her gaze darting along the hedges and trees of the courtyard, there was no trace of the archangel to be found.

What a very odd fellow he was.

There was little time to question it, however, as the punisher thing was still out there, and as long as it drew breath all of Sondon and her friends were in danger.  She retrieved her longsword and made her way over toward Roger, who seemed both confused and at a bit of a loss.  His hand had been heavily wounded with deep gashes, and there was rubble surrounding him everywhere.

"Where is the monster?" Everyth asked, not entirely certain on what else to call that monstrosity thing that had attacked them.  "Did you finish her?  We should go find Visco and Effie; they might've returned to Effie's old home by now."

Little did she realize that Roger could no longer hear here, nor the fact that Visco's very life hung by a thread in that moment.

- Soren Monroe, Loyalty Wavering - Raiden's Villa: Dining Room -

Soren gladly reciprocated Arthur's handshake, nodding to both him and Curvis as he spoke. "The pleasure is mine, Arthur. Curvis." He then listened to Arthur first, who spoke with glee about the cuisine of the Overworld, seeming oh so delighted with everything around him. Soren couldn't imagine the state of Arthur's world, though in all fairness, the World Below wouldn't have to be ruined for Arthur to enjoy a new world thoroughly, he was only Human after all, but not to be looked down upon for it. "I'm glad to see you like our food, Arthur. If you want my recommendation...just try a cupcake, by the Iron Lords of old, they are...scrumptious." Soren spoke, his tone almost one of gushing as he mentioned the cupcakes he had a soft spot for, but he nonetheless retained his cool.

Curvis then interjected, electing to go straight to the point with the Sentinel; questioning Soren as to why they were being treated with contempt by the very man who invited them to his world and villa with such enthusiasm not a day earlier, also insinuating that Soren was sent to keep an eye on the Humans, just to make sure they didn't misbehave. Soren thought for a moment, stirring the apple in his hand before leaning forward and inhaling deeply. "Believe me when I say this, Curvis, I would very much like to answer everything you have to say...but the truth is, I cannot pretend to understand the enigma that is Lord Raiden. I've hardly known him and he's already done a 180 degree turn so fast and sharp, he could cut the air around him in the blink of an eye...and his servants just stand there and watch." Soren calmly spoke, yet his frustration and anger was palpable by the further pronounced gravel in his voice, shifting in his seat as he continued.

"If I were sent to keep an eye on you, I wouldn't be so forthcoming, nor as courteous to a guest such as yourself. I am here as a fellow guest to Raiden's villa, not a man under his services. I take whatever job I'm assigned to seriously, as I am required to do, so when I realize that I've effectively abandoned my post at the mere notion that Lord Raiden was somehow better for me, it is an offense to anyone else of my conviction...and myself." The fey's anger was evident, but after he had concluded, Soren's voice was much calmer in the following words.

"Raiden is his own man, but he surely cannot think his sudden shift is acceptable. Sending you back home, treating every single one of you as murder suspects? Such behaviour implies a disturbed mind...or a recent encounter that has shifted his perspective. If Queen Shiva has that kind of effect on him, she is truly quite the Queen...forgive me, I've been thinking far too much recently, my words are spilling out of my mind like water." Soren then took a bite of his apple, his composure returned as he gestured to Curvis. "You strike me as a respectable man...what are you thoughts on all of this?" He posed this question, wishing to make his conversation less one-sided, but his gaze wandered to another table, two people sat around it...a woman...and a man with a familiar aura.

- Meksis, The Chaperone, Armour of Light - Kilkis Seres, Castle Courtyard -

Prince Jynn was an interesting one, as after he'd introduced himself to Meksis, he then spoke with a few others who were present about Queen Shiva, Henry and something that occurred between the two, the details not sitting lightly in the Chaperone's mind. From what he could gather; Shiva and Henry had quite a disagreement, Henry has had a lot go on in his life and has made many mistakes, Shiva hates Humans greatly, the World Below is in peril and Jynn doesn't seem to know who his mother is anymore. Meksis continued to be formal and attentive on the outside, but inside:

"Five thousand years...has certainly changed the worlds...a ruler who hates the Humans, her son who holds contempt for her, a Human with the might of a Fey in his blood...the World Below in danger?"

Meksis kept his ears open and his attention full after his pondering, listening to Henry advise the others in a melancholy tone, yet for a brief moment, Meksis caught something: A change of eye colour, just for a moment. Henry's Irises suddenly blinked a different hue entirely, then back to normal... There was more to Henry than met the eye. Turning to face the Hybrid, Meksis tapped his shoulder blade once with his left hand. "Henry, was it?" He initiated, looking down for a moment before attempting eye contact with Henry. "I won't pretend to understand your situation, nor do I know much of anything right now. I've been sleeping for five thousand years and I'm, a little behind, so these tidbits of news are a surprise to me...but I admire your conviction. To advise these young people despite your own mistakes...that takes a man with integrity, with valour...somethings I believe you possess in great quantities. I have a respect for you, Henry. Take that as you will, but my word is true." Meksis's words were completely serious and honest, the Armour truly held a belief in Henry, in spite of knowing him for merely a few minutes, he could feel much from him.

Content with his speech to Henry, Meksis looked to Maxis and rose his voice to him. "Maxis! We need to talk! Take me to Ivany and we'll discuss on the way, comrade!" His powerful voice boomed, yet there was some cheer laced in his authoritative tone.

-Morana - At Kilkes Seres - Rufus, Mikhail, Typhon, Aqua, Jari, Elia and Yev-
Morana watched as he walked away, before looking over at Elia with a small smirk. "He seems nice." She joked before nudging at Elia. "Well, your skills might save the prince's eye sight, so let us head over and see if we can help before its too late for him? Yes?" Morana suggested, glancing back where he had gone. An ambassador of Kilkes Seres? He had the delicate and rustic aura for it for sure, but his attitude...well, he seemed rather nice. They would need more time for her to judge fully to be honest. So she couldn't hate him or love him just yet. she turned to Typhon. "This can be your chance to speak with the Queen. Better not waste it."

-Helios - Castle Courtyard - Aura, Aurion, Gel(?), Henry, Meksis and Prince Jynn-
Helios smiled at the twins. "I know. I'll be careful, don't you worry about me!" Helios insisted. He knew as much. The traitor of this world, who dared to venture to the world below and return! He had to be careful regardless of what he did. "Like I said. I don't believe the impossible is not impossible anymore." He added. He turned to Henry as he gave him much cherished advice, catching for a single second the color of his eyes changing to those of a familiar color. One he had seen many times before a long time ago. He felt his chest ache at the thought, at the memories and insistence of possibilities, but he remained quiet of it. Instead, he nodded at the three of them. "I'll be wary...but I won't allow the Queen to divert my judgement so easily either. I know that us heading down to the world below was a mistake in many ways, but I also now believe that it was the right thing to do to bring the attention of both worlds to each other. I wish that it could have gone differently. So much more differently...but the past can't be changed. So let's focus on attempting to fix the elephant in the room that has been long overlooked." Helios said, frowning slightly. "Every life is precious. Whether it be human, fey, or animal. I will be careful, but I also refuse to go down without a fight. If I were to give in so easily...it wouldn't be me." Helios added, smirking to himself. He wouldn't waste the chance that he was given. He would embrace it instead, and hope he could make up for the errors he had made.

-Arthur - Raiden's Villa - Breakfast with Curvis and Soren-

Arthur's eyes gleamed at the conversation with Soren. However, he didn't expect such interaction from someone usually as calm as Curvis, but he didn't interrupt, instead listened while he reached one of the cupcakes that was settled around the middle after Soren's suggestion. In response Soren spoke his mind rather roughly, but understandably, angry, before calming back down. Arthur munched on his cupcake as he felt the tension between the two grow a bit too quickly for his liking. But this was to be expected, with such manners of topics at hand and all. He ended up unconsciously picking up like 3 more of them because Soren was right, oh god, they were perfectly scrumptious. He finished eating up one of the cupcakes as he listened. He decided to speak up a bit, to give his own opinion. "If I may," Arthur began, glancing between Curvis and Soren. He cleared his throat. "I like to understand that Lord Raiden is in a...tough position. He has been gracious enough to invite us and host us, despite there being an obvious law and hesitance against us humans due to the history...the word of a ruler just as a Queen is usually law, and I can understand that he would feel pressured to please one party over the other. He has his job cut out for him, for being only one man who has just brought two worlds together that many others would have wished to have remained separate." Arthur said, speaking his thoughts on the manner. "I think we should respect his decision, and if we are to do a decision on our own, to make sure that it does not affect Lord Raiden, as an independent party." Arthur said, smiling a bit. "At least, that is how I see it...if I were Raiden I would worry for myself and my people as well." Arthur said, before sitting back down and resuming to eat some cupcakes.
