- Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Third Trial: Xeno'jiva fight -

Rabiyu moved out of the way as the dragon's powerful beam was fired towards the ceiling above. Her spell, even in ancient draconic, was unable to strike the beast at it's full capacity. The elf quickly flew downwards until she was on solid ground, away from the beast. She was now looking up and dodging the pieces of crystals falling around her.
Sifrei summoned his spear back into his hand, the sword had proven somewhat useful, but it was something he could leave behind if needed. He saw how the dragon's torso suddenly exploded, sending a  shockwave around it. He decided to move further away from the beast, thinking about his next movement.

"What an interesting creature," Sifrei thought.

It came as a surprise that the dragon could speak, albeit using telepathy instead by its own means. Rabiyu listened as the dragon spoke to Rhaedyn, Eclaire, Alicia, and even the prince himself. But whatever it was telling them would have to wait, as the dragon shot more beams towards the ceiling, making more pieces of crystal fall at random spots around the room. Aura was directly below one of those pieces, and while her instinct told her to move away, her body did not listened.

"Stahdim zii meyz un spaan ahrk jaaril mii!" The voice of Rabiyu said behind her.

The falling piece of crystal was close to make conteact with Aura, but before it could reach the target it made contact with a barrier that surrounded Aura and made it ricochet away. Aura let out a deep breath that she, at that point, realized she was holding.

"Stand away from that creature, Aurora. You won't be able to do anything to it." Rabiyu said to Aura.

"But I want to fight. I want to help too." Aura replied to the elf.

"Dragons are too much for you, even in your current condition. Even to someone like us, who have lived longer, dragons are something we rarely fight if there is no reason to do it." She said to the young human, "Hold your ground, if the creature gets close, then move out of the way, but do not try to engage it directly or you will not live long enough to regret it."

Aura did not answered the elf, she just nodded. She realized that Rabiyu was right, even when her new condition allowed her to do things a normal human couldn't do, she still wasn't able to control most of those things. Sure, she could move faster now, and use stronger physical attacks, but against a dragon such as this, that would be almost next to useless, or so she thought.

At this point Sifrei had found a spot where pieces of crystals weren't falling. he touched the tips of his thumbs and index fingers together and spread his hands towards the crystal dragon.

"Ahseih spheles ih heli, siri hilm sihv hesshess mith sihseih phsis zem ri!" Sifrei whispered in enochian.

Many smaller glyphs appeared all around the crystal dragon, but instead of attacking him directly, from the center of the glyphs, chains made of light came out flying directly at the dragon's limbs. If the chains managed to find their targets then the dragon's legs, claws, and wings would be bounded and it would be unable to move.

{Mariel: Isopolis; Xeno'jiiva fight}

As expected and hoped for, the dragon attempted a counterattack versus the screaming angel. Mariel broke off her sonic assault and climbed higher to avoid the creature's tail. She lashed out with her flaming sword, hoping to strike the tail and keep its attention. Successful or not, the Guardian Angel picked up more speed as she circled around Xeno'jiiva. Taking a few breaths, she unleashed another sonic scream at the dragon's head. She tried to position herself so that should Xeno'jiiva attempt to use its breath weapon on her, it would provide an opening for the others.

- Odin, rethinking his strategy against the Wyrm -

A frown overtook Odin as his sword missed its mark somehow, and instead of attempting to strike anew he leaped off of the creature's back with all haste, expecting a counterattack.  He did not expect the beast to leap such a height in an effort to crush him soon after he landed, nor the explosive blast of energy from the creature's back.

Hmm, this creature can produce such energy waves from more than its mouth?  What a terrible beast to fight.  Regardless, the lightning rod Sifrei planted on its back is still there, with the dragon as its grounding source.  This will make killing it all the easier with as many lightning users as we have, he pondered to himself, eyes glancing towards the others as they rhythmically attacked the beast.  Unfortunately, they did not coordinate attacks very often simultaneously.  Odin waited to attempt a simultaneous attack, cutting down crystals that rained down from the ceiling or otherwise dodging them, until he found his opportunity.

Mariel hovered overhead and unleashed her second sonic scream, and Odin leapt for the beast's head at incredible speeds.  Withstanding the sonic waves that thrummed in his ears, he drew his sword back and attempted a single strike at both of the beast's horns, next to its ears or otherwise its brain.  If struck by his lightning-aided blade, both horns would act as a tuning fork, amplifying the sonic damage of Mariel's scream tenfold.  He hoped this might greatly harm the beast, or at least take away its hearing.  Removing any one of the five senses leaves the affected very vulnerable.

"Art of Reverb," he whispered, his words hidden within the scream's cone of effect before he exited and landed safely on the ground.  His ears still rang with Mariel's attack, and it would take a short while before he could hear everything normally again.

- Alastor, Typhon, Mikhail and Alicia - Xeno Battle -

Alicia was more or less surprised and confused as the beast withstood her attack and everyone else's deflecting the blows and nullifying all of their attacks, it not only did that but it began to taunt everyone in the arena, especially Alicia, whose eyes widened as it began to taunt her. As she stepped back in surprise. "I have no family!" Alicia retorted as the dragon soon revealed to her, that it was Alastor, who was her father. The latter was silent after he dodged the beast's attack on him. She looked at Alastor with a hateful expression, before gritting her teeth and looking back at the beast.

On the corner of her vision she saw Raiden, who was most likely waiting for the others to attack so he could take the opportunity to do the same, she was happy to oblige. As she held her hand up, raising it into the air slowly as it crackled with energy, soon enough five orbs of mixed elements, between fire, lightning, water, ice and wind, before swinging her hand towards the beast, as they shot towards it's head, each would explode on impact of their respective element, leaving a lingering elemental effect afterwards, the catch was that immediately after being launched the orbs would reform behind her and shoot again at it, this would repeat five times before stopping as Alicia focused arcane energy onto her sword and thrusted it towards Xeno, shooting a constant magical laser beam at it, to damage it and distract it further.

"Now!" Alicia shouted, to everyone, to signal it was their chance to attack as one.

Mikhail had survived his bomb's explosions with a protective shield of his Quen sign, as he gritted his teeth ,not much he had that could take down dragons. So he'd do something crazy, but hopefuly effective now that it was being pummeled by Alicia, he unsheathed his silver sword, casted a protective barrier around himself, strong enough to sustain one blow, heavy or small from Xeno as he rushed towards one of its legs, attempting to stab it with his silver sword, which would no doubt work well considering Silver was any monter's weakness, at least tempered silver anyway.

Alastor stood somewhat silent as his tatoos began glowing again, as he summoned his sword back into his hands, and summoned his other sword and charged them with draconic energy (dragon element, you could say). Entering a battle stance he began slashing away from the beast's side with a flurry of slices, each sending out a massive, explosive dragon energy wave after the last, culminating in around 10 or so waves, each with enough intensity to crash a small mountain before finishing in a cross slash sending out two joint ones, effectively doubling the potency. It was well known to Dragon hunters that dragons were somewhat weak to their own powers, as none, not even them, were immune to their power.

And amidst all the chaos and mayhem that would ensue, Typhon had been cloaked, running towards the beast from behind, and sliding below it before uncloaking, extending his armblades, coated in debilitating and highly deadly nerve poison, which had paralityc and poisonous effects and attempting to stab the beast's belly with it and injecting the poisons, AND shooting the armblades inside the beast's belly to further amp up the poison intake. If it succeeded, Xeno would suffer a nasty debilitating poison. That would no doubt weaken or even kill it.

Soul Lord Xeno’jiiva, Trial of Might and Self

The beast’s vision returns, and it turns its head to its back, attempting to blast Everynth away. It opens its mouth in preparation for its attack, but Helios, now in the form of a serpent, quickly coils around its jaws, shutting them tight. The fey tells it that the situation doesn’t have to be this way. The Xeno’jiiva’s eyes turn to him. “Then you should’ve stayed in the Overworld, boy! But no, you HAD to meddle in the world below. And what did that cost you? Two deceased friends, and the fey and humans waging war against one another! Needless to say, ALL OF THIS, is because of your mistakes!” The beast then grabs him with its claws and uses its strength to loosen his coils from its jaws. It then readies a energy blast aimed at Helios.

Jynn looks at his hands to finally see that the blight has dissipated, and his powers have returned to normal. But he looks up to see Helios, ready to be blown to smithereens. “Helios!” He raises his palms up and fires a powerful beam of aura at the monster’s head, interrupting its attack. He keeps the beast pinned with his power, along with Mariel’s ear piercing scream. He looks to the others. “Attack! Now!” Xion has slashed one of its eyes, Rhaedyn sends an eruption underneath the beast, and many others bombarded it with powerful attacks. All it could do was take all the damage it was receiving. Jynn finally lets up, and stops firing the beam.

The creature suddenly loosens its grip on Helios, and collapses to the ground, appearing to be dead. The room goes quiet for a few moments. The facade may have caused several to think it was actually done for, but some, like Jynn, could see through it. Unfortunately, Dawson was not the brightest around. “YEAH! WE DID IT!” But a faint laugh emitted from the “corpse”. “Hehehe! You think I would go down that easy?” Jynn draws out La Justiceré. The dragon continues. “You are a powerful bunch, there is no doubt. Perhaps I should up my game.”

The monster slowly rises back up on all fours, and restores its power by making its body “explode”. Those who might have been too close will suffer from dragonblight. The Xeno’jiiva, mouth was dripping poison from Typhon’s attack still. But it did not stop it entirely. The creature rises into the air with its giant wings.

Xeno’jiiva then fires a singular beam of energy, and rotates its head around to make it go haywire. Giant chunks of crystals fall all around the area, with some aiming for Helios, Mariel, Sifrei, and Alicia. Jynn manages to quickly carry Alicia out of the way, but also tries to get everyone’s attention. “Look out from above!” Once he found a small safe zone, he puts Alicia down.

He looks up at the creature. “This would be so much easier if I had my........... wait.” He looks to Rufus. I might have to. Wishing with a djinni, something Jynn viewed very lowly on, but if he wants to take down this dragon, he will need all the help he can get. He looks to Rabiyu. “Rabiyu! I need you to let me borrow the lamp! I have an idea that will make this battle so much easier! I know you might not be keen on this, but I need you to trust me for at least once! I promise, I WILL return the lamp to you!” All he could do was hope she will trust him.

- Helios & Arthur - /w everyone else - Xeno'jiva boss fight -

Helios tightened its grip on the creature, but the words that followed it couldn't help but to ache in his heart...because he realized that it was true. Had they remained in the Overworld, none of this wouldn't have happened. Ren and Arianna might still be alive. All of this happened because of his mistakes. "I..." Helios spoke, unable to find the words. He would find himself being pulled away by the creature, being held tightly as he couldn't slither away, instead a blast aimed right at him. Helios could only prepare for his death had it not been for Jynn and the rest creating a barrage of attacks. Eventually the creature let go of Helios, allowing him to fall back onto the ground, turning back into his original form before rolling back onto his feet. He watched the creature 'die' its words still in his mind...but it wasn't dead yet. Helios was caught in the blast, falling back as the crystals began to fall from the ceiling. He tried to transform, but was unable to. His eyes widened, quickly getting onto his feet as he ran, barely missing a few of them. One hit much too close, the force as it crashed sending even more small crystals flying across, one ended up stabbing Helios right on the leg. He screamed, gritting his teeth as he pulled out the crystal, looking up as all eyes were on the creature once more. "You are right. All of this is my fault." Helios hissed, staring at the dragon. "Had we obeyed and stay put, we would have remained...but I cannot turn back time. As many regrets that I have, I can only consider to make up for them with the actions of the present and future. Yes, much has gone wrong...but the return of so much good has balanced it out. The release of the seal that drained the world below, the uncovering of secrets, the meeting of so many people...those I can never, ever regret." Instead of throwing the crystal away, he held onto it, intending to use it as a dagger. "I am here, Ren and Ariana are gone. The events that have passed cannot be turned back and erased. As much as one wishes to...I refuse to linger on the unchangeable past when the future is still ahead. We will get the Source of All Life and bring back the innocent people of the world from below. If killing you is the only way through to it, then your life will be the one and only I shall take!" Helios yelled, undeterred as he gripped the bloody crystal tight. He would charge back at the dragon again, light on his feet as he usually was. He would, however, use the large crystals to his advantage to jump onto them and leap off them, landing on the dragon's back and stabbing down into its skin.

Henry's trial:

It was time for the third trial, as the room shifted into a mountaineous landscape, a very wide and open area with rocks and little plants around, in the middle laid a rock-like figure, humanoid. Standing still, staring right at Henry.

Henry opened his eyes to stared back at the entity, this was different from the other two emotional manifestations of his, this was different, it was the root of his power. His very essence standing there, with magical earth all around it, in the dreadnought armor no less.

"You are the final obstacle, its useless to talk to you, im taking you down." Henry spoke as rocks began to form around him, but not forming the dreadnought armor right away as Henry sprinted towards his other self. Delivering a crushing punch with massive strenght behind it at the apparition's face, only for it not to move an inch, Instead it delivered Henry a punch to his gut, which even with dreadnought armor forming around the area for protection still made Henry reel, but he quickly recovered and landed another punch to its face, this one even more powerful than the last, with a massive shockwave shooting from behind the dreadnought apparition, but it did not budge. "What?!" Henry shouted in surprise as it then punched him in the face, which he wasn't expecting, his armor that formed around his face to protect it only shattered in half from the power of the attack as Henry was sent flying back, landing on his ass and rolling along with the momentum, stunned.

Before he could get up the Dreadnought apparition simply waved its hand up, as the rocks below Henry shot him towards it from below, sending him right back to the apparition, which delivered a crushing blow to Henry's chest, stunning him further, and landing him on the ground. This time it waited for Henry to get up, his armor now crumbling from his body and falling off from the damage it whistood, Henry eyed up his opponent, despair welling up. As Henry brought forth every little ammount of energy he had left in him, rocks flying all around him in a powerful aura as he focused it all in one blow, dashing towards the Dreadnought and delivering a series of blows ranging from punches to uppercuts ro elbows and everything. each sending out massive shockwaves of impact behind the Dreadnought apparition, it didn't move at first, but it began to move after a few punches, the last punch, a haymaker to the face succeeded in cracking the armor's faceplate. To reveal an exact replica of Henry, except this one with crimsom red eyes, the crack in the faceplate could only really reveal the left eye.

The Dreadnought apparition took advantage as Henry stumbled back, exhausted from the attack, to deliver his own, first, one punch to Henry's gut, a massive shockwave shooting from behind Henry as he was hit in full, second, an uppercut to his chin, which stunned him and a haymaker, a copy of his own, to his face, which Henry thankfully managed to block with both his arms as he was send flying back, with no chance of recovering mid air, he slid across the floor.

"I get it..." Henry muttered as he slowly got himself up, shacky, and weak.  "I can't beat you...not with your own power...so..." Henry spoke as he then closed his eyes and concentrated, his aura subsiding and dying. He concentrated. If he was to defeat his own magical essence, then he'd first have to reject it. "I don't need your power!" He spoke, opening his eyes as they glew with a faint, redish light. "Earth...I relinquish it." Henry spoke as his aura began to act up, his whole body vibrating and shifting itself as he rejected it conciously and physicaly, and after a few painful seconds, all of Henry's earth magic was seemingly gone. "I don't need your power anymore..." Henry began to speak, as his aura suddenly began to flare up again, except this time it was different, it was pure energy, his aura, made of pure energy, emitted a crimsom color as he looked towards the Dreadnought.

"For I make this power...my own." Henry spoke, as the Dreadnought broke into a sprint towards him, forming a spear for an arm as it attempted to run him through, Henry instinctively dodged the attack with inhuman speeds, leaving a faint energy trail behind him, as he ended right beside the Dreadnought as he then delivered an energy charged punch to its side, which was very effective, with so much energy accumulated from all of his fights, experiences, and developments, the blow was enough to break a part of the Dreadnought armor and send it staggering to the side.

Henry, in surprise, looked at his hands, which glew in power, more so than his body, it seemed as if he could direct the energy flow into wherever he wanted to increased effectivenes.

Henry quickly dashed towards the Dreadnought, without giving it a second to think as he delivered a flurry of lightning fast jabs and punches at its chest, his speed and power increased immensely by the channeled energy as he ended the attack with an uppercut, which not only knocked the Dreadnought into the air, but left a mark of energy in its chest, and a second or two after, the mark ignited into a VERY LARGE explosion of energy, knocking it back down with enough force to crack a mountain in half. It broke the Dreadnought's chest. As it kneeled. Before it could recover Henry dashed towards it, as sonic speeds from the diverted energy, slamming his knee into its face plate, breaking off the rest of it, it seemed like the more Henry fought, and landed blows, the more energy he would store, and said energy would then be able to be used and directed to enhance his physical capabilities and even project energy projectiles and other things he could use.

The Dreadnought began to gather energy, rocks and the earth itself shifting towards it. Henry quickly dashed towards it and slammed his hand into its chest. "Energy Crush" Henry muttered as he chanelled his stored energy into the Dreadnought's chest, and instantaneously the Dreadnought's gathered energy would then crush in on itself, it feeling its own magical power act out against it in Henry's attack as he followed up by extending his right arm backwards, forming a claw of pure crimsom energy as he slashed its chest, leaving  energy trails and markings on its chest, which all ignited and exploded, albeit in smaller explosions on the area of the attack. The Dreadnought writlled and staggered from the blow, slowly fell backwards, now limp. As it simply dissipated and disappeared, along with the illusion of isopolid.

As Henry soon found himself back in the Hallway of illusions again, this time it seeming normal. But something was different, Henry felt lighter, less emotional turmoil within him, and a new, amazing power to boot, replacing his old ones. As his body healed from its mutations from the Fire, Dark and Earth elements, it seemed like a normal human's now, except with an aura of pure energy, which was very notable and extremely powerful when not suppressed.

Henry turned towards the door, finally walking towards it, but before doing so, he turned around. "Thank you, Shrine, for this opportunity." Henry spoke, to no one at all, but he hoped the Shrine itself would hear his voice. As he turned around and opened the door. And proceeded onwards, following the other's footsteps...in what seemed like a hectic battle.

POWER SHIFT: Darkness, Fire and Earth enhancements and magic were converted into Pure Magic Energy.

Through Henry's soul searching and emotional quest in the illusory hall, Henry's power had changed tremedously.

Henry can now generate, store, absorb, stockpile and multiply energy within his body to an almost limitless extent, increasing all of his capabilities, both physical and magical to near boundless levels depending on the ammount of energy directed to said functions and areas of his body. This also allows Henry the power of energy projections and all of its multitude of uses.

Henry can absorb almost any magical element and turn it into energy for him to store and use accordingly. This also includes storing kinetic force from blows taken and dished out, all turning into magical energy for him to utilize.

Henry can only use a small portion of his fully stockpiled energy at a time, however. As too much energy brings unecessary harm to his body, which cannot fully handle the new found power, should he used all of his stockpiled power, the effects would be tremedous in power, but he would only be able to use it without too much harm for seconds at best.

The power also comes with the tradeoff that Henry will not able to exploit certain elements, or use the Dreadnought armors of old, meaning he is objectively weaker in defense than before, much less of a tank than before, but still able to take a hit or two and keep going throughout the fight.

This also means he lacks the sheer strenght the Dreadnought provided him, also making him less physicaly strong than before. This in turn, however, gives him a well rounded boost to all of his attributes, effectively making him a total all-rounder, with no clear weakness and strength.

This power will grow alongside Henry, and will proved very useful for the battles ahead.

- Henry, Alicia, Typhon, Mikhail and Alastor - The Second Phase of Xeno Jiiva -

Everyone paused their assault and recovered their breaths for the few seconds Xeno laid there immobile, however Alicia's hair was still up, she was still uneasy, and her uneasyness proved correct as the dragon quickly jumped to life.

"Oh firetruck me!" Typhon exclamed as he was hitby the beasts's explosion as it blew itself up to revived itself. Typhon sprawled onto the ground, and stood there for a second as he felt a strange effect on his body...which didn't do anything at all, unlike the others Typhon had absolutely NO magic whatsoever. So he got out scott free, aside from a bit charred exoskeleton.

Mikhail was knocked back, but safely protected by the quen shield, still affected by dragonblight, however. He grunted in frustration as he stepped back and waited the effect out.

Alastor immediately flared his tatoos back up to energize himself and his blades again, but without a real opening, and the creature's beam posing too much of a constant threat. Alastor couldn't do much, aside from steering clear from the laser.

Same for Alicia, whom Jynn had just released, having saved her from crystals falling on top of her. "Thanks, Jynn."  She spoke warmly, as she overlooked the scene.

"Don't listen to it Helios, it's taunting you to throw you off" Helios would hear a familiar voice speaking to him before the following actions would happen.

A figure would appear in a flash of a faint crimsom light, after images from the speed of his dashes as he appeared right at the ceiling of the arena, and slamming down on Xeno's head with a crushing downward slam, if landing it would deal extreme stun damage in order to stagger Xeno, but also open it for subsequent attack from the others. And possible interrupting the beam of energy

"Sorry to keep everyone waiting. " Henry shouted at everyone as he quickly dashed off Xeno's head, directing himself beneath it as he charged a powerful punch to its torso, or at least the area right below the neck in order, a massive shockwave of energy shooting from behind Henry from the sheer power of the punch, to knock it back and stun it further, but at the same time leaving a small energy mark on the area of impact, which would explode in a large blast of energy a few seconds after. "Now's your chance to attack!" Henry shouted at everyone else to do the same.  A faint crimsom aura surrounding Henry all the while. His power feeling different than before, it wasn't elemental now...it was pure energy.

Typhon wasted no time as the chaos ensued. quickly running towards Jynn. And grabbing the man by the shoulder. "I believe I have a plan, say, you wouldn't be willing to stab me in the gut?" Typhon asked him, in a complete deadpan and blank sone.

- Odin and Rufus Contralto, fighting Xeno-Jeeves in the Major Test of Strength -

Rufus frowned as he let down his arms finally, feeling a little drained from attempting to seal the magic of a creature that did not have magic to begin with.  With a pant, he looked around the room, hoping everyone was all right, and caught the gaze of Jynn during the one time the prince looked in his direction.  What were the odds of that?  Grinning maniacally, Rufus felt that much more special and gave it his all with annoying the absolute tar out of the dragon.

"HEY!  LOOKIE HERE, YOU BIG, STINKY, UGLY KOMODO MONITOR!" he shouted, hoping to attract the dragon's attention as he zipped in front of its right eye and smacked his own rump tauntingly.  Still grinning like a fool, he fumbled within his pockets and pulled out a piece of lint.  "I got something for you, something you'll love!  Follow the string, boy!"

Meanwhile, Odin watched as the mighty beast fell under the great barrage of elements being inflicted towards it, his head still spinning from Mariel's sonic scream.  Sound waves, once locked within them, were very hard from which to escape scot-free, but he soon was able to hear more than muffled noises when the beast renewed itself, and stronger, at that.  The grip on his sword tightened as he analysed the situation from afar, carefully observing the strength of the energy beam, and the rain of giant crystals from the ceiling.  Stepping out of the line of fire with the speed of greased lightning, Odin raised Lysander above his head, one hand stroking its golden blade from hilt to tip.

I suppose it is time to use my "Flying General," he thought to himself, his remaining eye narrowing as he surged toward the dragon's chest at incredible speed, neverminding gravity as he moved in a straight line.  Drawing back Lysander in order to do a thrust, he aimed for the area Henry struck and jabbed his sword towards it.  With his gained speed, he concluded that the strike should penetrate the dragon's hide, regardless of the strength of its crystals or scales.  Luckily, Rufus was there to provide distraction, and Helios on top of the dragon to deliver backstabbing blows.  If judging from what happened with others, magic was sealed by the dragon's fire.  If that was so, he had to make sure that he would not be in a bad spot where being powerless would be of great detriment.  Luckily he had much physical training under his belt, enough to provide him good sustainability regardless of ability.

Eclaire, Xion, Thane: Everyone is Mon-ster-Figh-tiiing

Eclaire grunted. Her blade had sunk into the beast's leg, but not very deep. She tore Shiva from it's scales and backed up for another attack, but then it fell. She retreated at once with her mother, while Thane, the wariest of them all, held his spear, aiming it at the beast's head.

Then it spoke, rising up. The blast of dark energy would have struck Thane, had he not been far away, cautious...but Eclaire and Xion were not far enough. But Eclaire was spared, for, as the dragonblight came, Xion spun and used her own magic to throw Eclaire away from the blight, sparing her. The Queen of Lust fell to her knees with a cry, barely able to stay up. Grasping Caladbolg, she weakly tossed it to Eclaire.

"Go, daughter." She began half-crawling. "I will recover." She smiled weakly. Eclaire picked up the greatsword, nodding. Once more taking flight, she landed on a falling stalactite, bouncing off and between them. With Henry engaging, she winged up as he made an opening. Sheathing the silver sword, she grasped Caladbolg tightly, diving down. This time she aimed for the base of the dragon's skull - and took a step into the abyss, letting the darkness wash over her, further augmenting her blade.

"Fall from Grace!" She roared. Crackling with dark lightning, she shot down at his skull, thrusting at the base with everything she had.

- Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Third Trial: Xeno'jiva fight -

The creature was a persistent one, that was for sure. Everyone in the group was strong, some more than others, but the beast had taken all their attacks and was still standing, and yet, it looked like the worst was yet to come. The dragon fired a beam of energy into the ceiling, making giant chunks of crystal fall all around the area. Some of them were falling towards Sifrei, he jumped into the air and pointed his spear towards the falling crystals, using blasts of light to destroy the falling pieces.

Aura was looking at the battle while standing behind Rabiyu, feeling powerless to do much, as fighting such a beast would be, according to her elf friend, dangerous. What else she could do in her state?

Rabiyu was looking at the situation in front of her, the dragon had resisted more than it should, but that was a dragon, a creature capable of holding up in a fight. She could sense that Aura wanted to fight, but how was she going to risk the young woman? this was not a fight she could come out without injuries. After thinking for a couple of seconds Rabiyu heard the voice of the prince making a strange request, to give him Rufus' magical lamp. Why now, she wondered. This was not the time to ask for such thing, a wish against the dragon would be useless in Isopolis, that's what she thought, at least. The elf said nothing, only stared at the prince before feeling a tap on her shoulder.

"Give me the lamp, I'll give it to the prince. I may not be able to do much against the dragon, but I can surely do that," Aura said as she held her hand out.

Rabiyu looked at the girl for a moment, but in the end she took out the lamp from inside her cloak and gave it to Aura.

"I may not trust the prince, Aura, but I trust you. And if you think that, somehow, this will help, then it will be done," Rabiyu said to Aura, "I will protect you as you make your way towards the prince."

The white haired elf then casted the barrier spell around Aura once more. Aura nodded and felt the surge of energy inside her, she then began to run towards the prince, pieces of crystal falling towards her, only to be stopped and destroyed by the magical barrier around her. Rabiyu was focusing on keeping the barrier around Aura that she somehow failed to see a moderate-sized piece of crystal falling towards her. The moment she did, though, her focus on the barrier faltered and broke the spell. She made a backflip to avoid the hit of the falling crystal, but the force of the crash sent shards of crystal her way, effectively send her flying backwards.

"Curses. I need to pay more attention to my surroundings," Rabiyu said as she got up, only to see a crystal shard sticking up from her abdomen, "Ugh...At least it didn't hit something major."

The elf took out the shard without hesitation, the wound would have to wait for a moment. She had other cuts all over her face thanks to the shards, but the dragon had priority at the moment. She infused an arrow with fire magic to make it explode on contact with the dragon. It took a moment to aim correctly, but she fired the arrow towards another one of the creature's eyes.

While all of this was happening, Aura was running towards the prince, dodging the falling pieces from the ceiling, some of them would come close to hit her, but the barrier made by Rabiyu protected her from getting hurt. Until the barrier was gone, that is. Aura was taken by surprise as the barrier suddenly disappeared, making her turn around to look at Rabiyu, who was currently on the ground. The urge to go back and help her friend was there, but she had another thing to do, and that was to give the lamp to the prince. As she turned around to reasume her way Aura saw a piece of crystal going her way, in a quick reaction Aura managed to jump out of the way, rolling on the ground to avoid the shards that were sent flying after the giant piece crashed.

"That was a close one..." Aura thought, as she got up and ran towards the prince.

It took a moment in which she had to quickly, but carefully, move around the area to dodge falling crystals on her way to her objective, but in the end she made her way to the prince.

"Here. I brought you the lamp," Aura said as she offered Rufus' lamp to Aura, "We really hope that you know what you are doing, prince Jynn."

Jynn Venas-Vs Soul Lord Xeno’jiiva

Typhon was quick to ask if Jynn could stab him. What an odd request. “Why would........... never mind.” There must’ve been a reason he was asking. Jynn offers his knife to the cyph. “Here, use this. Unless it has to be someone else doing the impaling?”

It was painfully obvious that Rabiyu still did not want to put her trust in the prince. Aura, however, seemed to differ. She tries to transport the lamp to him as quickly as possible, dodging a few falling stalactites along the way. She manages to reach the prince, and offers him the lamp, hoping whatever Jynn plans on doing benefits the group. Jynn gently takes the lamp. He looks at it for a moment. This is completely against my ideals....... using someone to benefit from. But, at this point, I must use all the help I can get. He faces the djinni. “Rufus! I am ready to make my wish! I wish for you to restore a power I lost some time ago!” He raises the lamp. “The power of flight!”

(Will post for Xeno’jiiva immediately after Vaude posts.)

- Rufus Contralto, against a Komodo Dragon -

Rufus' ears shot up, perked and primed, as he zoomed out of the dragon's visage and toward Jynn.  Regardless of his loss of memory with every wish, he was ready to grant his allies' wishes if it meant something to them or someone else.

"Okay!" he voiced in a very Mokuba-esque manner, whoever that was.  "I will grant you a better digesti--oh, flight?  That'll do!  Zippy-dippy, pasta salad, presto!  YOUR WISH IS GRANTED!  The wish granter is not responsible for fraying, tattering, or disappearance of clothes in part or in whole.  Standard wish making applies.  Liking of results may vary."

In a sudden flash of phosphorescent cookies being dipped in radioactive milk, and with the ever-present smell of scented candles, Rufus' hands and eyes lit up in a blue aura as he transferred the equally hued magic to Jynn.  The magic would flood into his body before pooling into the area where his wings would have been, and spread outward in a great arc, with wings sprouting immediately behind.

((And with that, Jynn has flight again!  Before you reply, Endless, please wait for Mystics to post before you continue with the Xeno'Jeeves post.  Time was not an ally to Mystics as of late.))

--Alderon, Athena, Everyth, and Elia -- Xeno'jiva battle--

The dragon's attention fell upon the dark sorceress.  She had to get away.  Locks falling over her face, she took a side leap off the dragon's face and plummeted for the ground, landing sprawled on all fours, though thankfully managed to sustain herself from any injuries.  Her left shoulder stung painfully, however, arresting her attention to it.  The exposed flesh seemed burnt; apparently she hadn't succeeded at escaping the blast from the dragon.

Gritting her teeth, she whirled around to face the dragon, bearing her palms together to form a ball of energy. Everyth was taken aback, however, when nothing happened. "Why can't I . . . ?"  She then overheard Arthur mutter something about encountering the same as her, his abilities being rendered useless after taking damage from the dragon.  It must've had special abilities granted to it by Isopolis, she assumed.  Regardless, she still had her strength and her sword.  She raised her weapon, charging toward its rear and striking at its tail.  It probably wouldn't be enough to take it off, but hopefully it would be enough to at least attract its attention.

"I can help, too!" Elia cried, extending her palms over the prince.  Her arms began to glow with an amber light, an aura which coated over Jynn.  She had casted a haste spell on Jynn, so that his movement would be hastened and would make for an easier time skirting damage.  "Please be careful.  I hope that your plan works."

Meanwhile, Athena stood shielded by Arthur from the falling crystals, shooting him a glare that would've frozen lakes in July.  "I want to help!  You all are my friends!" she protested.  "The very least I can do is do my part, and–"

"The boy is right," spoke up the king, nursing his wounded arm from the dragon's blast.  "Athena, daughter, this is no place for you to be fighting.  Even the Mystran lord has his work cut out for him, much less a human princess from our human world.  We need you to protect yourself.  Can you do that much for us, please?"

Athena opened her mouth to retort, but closed it again, taking note of the dragon letting out another array of blasts, though none were directed toward them.  After his parting words were made, King Alderon charged toward the dragon, his massive claymore overhead.  He leapt up and attempted to burrow his sword into the dragon's underbelly/chest.

- Soren Monroe, The Sentinel Renewed, Human Form - Isopolis, Trial of Great Strength: Xeno'jiva -

A little later than most, Soren finally emerged into the crystalline caverns hosting everyone else who had lived through Isopolis thus far, his eyes immediately greeted with the sight of a grand scale conflict: A Xeno'jiva of all things, locked in battle with Fey, Humans and a Cyph, some of them clearly under the effects of Dragonblight, negating Soren's need to explain it, particularly the most recently affected; Xion, who was now weaponless and crawling away as the aura of the ailment settled around her.

"I knew there were talks about a Xeno'jiva being used for the Great Strength trial, but I never thought it would be a reality...well, that's all doubts dissuaded." Soren thought to himself, eyeing his surroundings, the Fey unleashing their power upon the great dragon if they were able, the humans fighting valiantly and the Cyph, Typhon, was with Prince Jynn, who held out a dagger seemingly in offering and...now had wings? The dijinni lamp that Soren spotted on closer inspection would explain this development.

Deciding to make good on his oath, Soren rushed over to Xion, his currently human features would likely do nothing to hide his nature as a Demon to the Queen of Lust, yet still he knelt down to her level and offered a hand. "Are you all right? What have I missed?" He asked with a tinge of urgency, though he also sought to comfort, if only a little, as to not be condescending, even in this hectic time, though it was also clear that he had missed a significant portion of this battle and whatever events that might entail.

(It's a smaller one, to be sure, though here's hoping Xeno will notice dear old Soren's arrival.)

- Helios & Arthur - /w everyone else - Xeno'jiva boss fight -

Arthur looks at Athena, eyes softening even with the whole war going on around them. He knew that telling such a thing to Athena was no less than bringing a war to her. The proud princess was strong and mighty as she was beautiful and kind. To tell her 'don't fight' might as well guarantee her to kick your ass and send you back to where you came from. But this was different. This wasn't a strategic war. This wasn't her leading an army, or fighting against an opponent. This was a creature beyond any of their abilities...but who was he to judge a princess to want to fight for the people she had lost. "If you want to fight, Athena, then I won't stop you." He whispered, staring at her with a glow in his eyes. "But if I see you in danger, do know that I will come to your aid, and give my life for you, my love. This fight will determine whether our kingdom, our world may return...but I refuse to lose you in return." He whispered, staring at her. He leaned in, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead before backing away. To lose her would not have been worth it. What was worth saving a kingdom if they would have no ruler to guide them back to prosperity? He could feel the energy returning to him, sparks of electricity surging across his body as he was ready to fight again. He could not waver any longer. Without much of another word, he disappeared into lightning, reappearing on the beast's side. He would charge his sword with electricity, the lightning covering the sword before he would disappear into lightning again, reappearing high in the air before he would slam the sword down right onto the beast's wing, right in the spot where it would connect with the rest of the body.

Helios would be holding onto its back, using the shard that he had held to stab the creature on the back over and over again. The shard alone began to cut into his own, unprotected skin, crimson blood dripping down the makeshift blade and onto the beast. Yet the pain didn't sting as bad as it should. The adrenaline was rushing, and after a certain point he didn't even feel it, only annoyed that it was getting slippery because of said blood. He could feel his energy returning to him from the blight, a soft sigh escaping his lips as he opened his eyes. He couldn't possibly transform into something bigger...could he? It could drain him of energy and leave him running only of adrenaline...ah. But there wasn't much he could do. So he went for it. He took another drink of the blue potion, his eyes glowing as smoke escaped from his lips. From the smoke, something would wrap itself around the large beast. A white, slithering body of a Standard Basilisk would wrap itself around the dragon, trying to bring it down to the ground as Helios bit down right onto its neck. It was as if it was a reenactment of how a snake tried to eat its prey, except of course, Helios would not and could not eat this dragon. But he could at least help bring the damn thing down.

{Mariel: Isopolis; Xeno’jiiva 2nd form}

Mariel’s aerial maneuvers slowed to a hover when the dragon seemed to succumb to wounds. She heard a cry of victory from one of her comrades, but she was wary. It seemed odd for such a beast to go down so fast.

“Why did I have to be right?” She muttered to herself when Xeno’jiiva spoke.

With a flap of her wings, she began a dive to renew her attack on the creature. The crack of the crystal overhead caused the Guardian Angel to snarl something entirely unangelic as she desperately tried to roll out of the way of the falling attack. Swooping close to the ground, Mariel stabbed Bright Guard into the ground, using it as a pivot to adjust her course. Diverting her forward momentum, she hit the ground with her knees and slid, pulling her sword with her. The crystal hit the ground inches from the Guardian Angel, throwing her further back. She ended up on her back near the wall of the cavern, but she popped up fast, Bright Guard up in a block in case the dragon tried to take advantage of her situation.

Soul Lord Xeno’jiiva, Trial of might and Self

The Xeno’jiiva mocked Helios’s attempt. “Kill me? As if!” It performs a barrel roll in midair to try to get Helios off. But suddenly, Henry appears on top of it’s head and deals a powerful blow, breaking its horns. But the dragon remained in the air, dazed. “If it isn’t the one who killed one of the boy’s friends.” It was quickly interrupted by Rufus’ pestering. But it was a ruse, Odin took advantage of the situation and dealt a series of blows with his sword.

The beast started to become frustrated, regaining his consciousness and backing away from Eclaire’s attack. “You all are starting to GET ON MY NERVES!” Suddenly, the Xeno’jiiva abruptly hovered higher, causing Alderon to whiff its back leg. Finally, it slams down on all fours and creates fissures on the ground. They then abruptly explode with incredible force. Helios manages to coil himself around the monster once again, but the Xeno’jiiva lifts itself back into the air once again. It tries to whack Arthur away with its wings, but the human at least manages to create a huge tear in the webbing. It staggers for a moment and growls. It fortunately takes no notice of Mariel.

As soon as Rufus casted his magic, Jynn starts to feel his wings materialize on his back, extending outwards. Dawson takes note of this, and laughs maniacally. “Oh boy!” He faces the Xeno’jiiva. “YOU’RE SO SCREWED!” The beast peers over to Jynn, noting the wings. “Ha! You think those puny little appendages will make a difference in this battle? You really are soft!” The prince returns the lamp to Aura. “You might be surprised, monster. Let us dance!” With incredible speed, Jynn takes to the air, lunging at the elder dragon while calling fourth his darkness. The Xeno’jiiva follows suit, and lunges at the prince midair.

The beast tries to snap its jaws on the prince, but the latter hovers higher and grasps onto one of the monster’s horns. He lashes a few powerful strikes with La Justiceré before piercing the blade through the dragon’s skull, injecting massive amounts of dragon element in the beast’s bloodstream. The beast finally drops from the sky and on to the floor with a large tremor.

The Xeno’jiiva tries to get up, but Jynn was quick to grasp onto Sifrei’s sword still jabbed into its back, and surges black lightning into the blade, and into the beast, paralyzing it. Jynn jams the Leviathan into its back as well, injecting even more black lightning into its body. The creature was utterly taken by surprise. “What............ is this............... power?!” It was clearly unable to move. Jynn calls fourth to everyone. “Everyone! NOW!”

- Helios & Arthur - /w everyone else - Xeno'jiva boss fight -

Helios hissed, coiling himself around the body as he pulled on the wings. As the beast soon became paralyzed by the numerous of attacks on it. They saw their chance. Helios had clung onto the beast for dear life, refusing to give up easily. As it landed, shaking the cave with it, he eventually let go, but not to run away. With smoke covering him once more, he transformed into a bird and flew as high as the cave would allow him. "May you find peace with your kind in the world beyond this one, Xeno'jiva." Helios whispered, allowing himself to drop from as high as he could, right towards the beast. His eyes gleamed, the sting of his bloodied hand no longer there, smoke covering him up once more. "Forgive us!" And with that, Helios re-emerged from the smoke, once again in his large, Basilisk form. He had spun as he fell towards Xeno'jiva, creating a calculated attack as he proceeded to slam his tail and body right into Xeno'jiva, slamming the grand beast right back onto the ground as hard as he could. Pain surged across his own body, Helios hissing in pain as he swore he heard a few bones pop. His body against the hard exterior skeleton was going to end up leaving him black and blue for a whole month...but he wouldn't have had it any other way in the end of the day. As Helios slammed the beast into the ground, Arthur saw his chance. He followed behind Mariel and Jynn, jumping onto the beast's head. "My prince, if I may!" Arthur hurried to the wound on the creature's head. He carefully stabbed his own sword into the wound, sparks flying across his body as he had been charging one big blow. With a deep breath, Arthur unleashed it all. Using the opening, he proceeded to unleash the jolts upon jolts of electricity that he had been charging up right into the beast's body, wrecking it from the inside. His eyes merely glanced up at Jynn for a moment, staring at him as his own pupils were crooked and moving, lightning strikes of their own as he offered the prince a smile. "Lead us to victory, my king!"

Eclaire, Xion, Thane

As Eclaire backwinged away from the thrashing dragon, Thane was already moving. Tossing Caladbolg back to Xion, she watched as Jynn launched his attack. With the dragon stunned, Eclaire dived once more. Around her crackled lightning.

"I see my foe before me. He is not good, nor evil - nor am I good, or evil. Like him, I see fear, I see hope. Before me I see not a foe, but an equal. Not an equal, but a better. I am the steel that creates my blade, the leather that wraps the hilt, and the song that sings through the wind." He glowed. "Noblesse Oblige - Anti-Foe Ancient Magic: Kugane Tragedy!" The silver blade in her hand glowed as she pierced the dragon's back. "Shiva, herald the frost!"

Ice pierced into Xeno'jiva, crystalizing and putting out, forming jagged crystals within him around the point of contact.

Kugane Tragedy...for it is the nature of the blade that dictates it's power...and the heart of the wielder.

Thane, meanwhile, had leapt with a mighty roar, bringing down his axe on the joint that connected Xeno's right with with the body.

Xion stayed away. Panting, she did not risk entering combat so early from dragonblight...not that she was truly needed for this one

--Alderon, Athena, Everyth, and Elia -- Xeno'jiva battle--

How Alderon's attack landed upon Xeno'jiva's hindleg rather than his chest, he did not know.  Apparently he had underestimated its immense speed.  Even still, his claymore came back bloodied, so some damage must've been dealt.  He craned his neck to get a good look at it; it had risen high, with others in close pursuit.  It slammed down about as quickly as it had risen, fissures splitting from the ground and threatening to consume them all.  The king had managed to sustain a good distance, though Elia had managed to fall into one.  A scream filled the air.

"Someone, help!" Her nails clawed at the smooth ground, though nothing was appropriate for gripping.  All of her abilities had been rendered useless by being caught by Dragon Blight, otherwise she wouldn't have hesitated to fly away from harm.

Everyth, unaware of the trouble within Elia's fissure, took this opportunity to charge the dragon.  With a flick of the rest she discovered that her magic had returned, causing her to crack a wide grin.  "You're in trouble now, Beastie!"  She charged forward, leaping into the air and rising much higher than what should've been humanly possible.  Her body glowed with a violet aura as she ran a palm over the length of her sword.

"Get up from this!"  She attempted to plunge her sword deep into the back of Xeno'jiva's back before backflipping away, falling alongside Xion with her arms at her sides.

{Mariel: Isopolis; Xeno'jiiva fight}

Mariel took the reprieve from the dragon's attention to get airborne again. She called upon the powers of Light and Holiness that were at her call as an angel. She would have to move fast, but a blitz of the dragon's head to try to blind it should get its attention. Jynn's attack caused a grin to form on the Guardian Angel's face. This was going to be good.

Glowing with power, Mariel prepared to unleash a powerful attack when a cry for help reached her ears. Training kicked in, allowing her to pinpoint where the cry came from. Elia was falling! It took less than a second for the Guardian Angel to make a decision and expended her Light Magic charge to streak across the sky towards Elia Dropping Heaven's Flame, she reached out and grabbed the nearest of Elia's limbs.

"I've got you!" Mariel yelled as she pulled up hard, her wings flapping hard as it fought momentum and gravity. "Hold still!"

- Odin, combining an attack with Eclaire against the Wyrm -

Odin felt rather triumphant about somehow delivering multiple attacks with a single thrust, withdrawing his sword from the weakened area that Henry created and tearing away from the dragon when it seemed to be readying a counter towards him and the others, rising up into the air with speed.  He was just a moment faster than the Xeno'Jiiva's descent towards the ground, dodging the crushing blow of its massive forefeet, but not fully escaping the explosive shrapnel of the detonating fissures.  Several marks and jagged sections of earthen floor gashed exposed flesh, whether it be his face or his arms.  He held back a grunt of pain as he withdrew one particularly deep piece of shrapnel from the flesh of his right upper arm.

Glancing over to the others to see how they were faring, he noticed the friendly face of Soren in the background, having just reunited with the gang after completing the labyrinth.  He seemed to be ignored, the poor gent, but sadly this was no time for Odin to cheer him up with a bit of immediate recognition.  Instead, it was time to finish this creature.

With lightning-aided speed, he jumped onboard the creature with several other members that had pierced the hide of the creature.  Eclaire was using a significant-seeming power of cryogenesis which garnered his attention, the crystalline blossom of frost and ice delving into the creature along with her silver sword . . . or was that Shiva's?  It looked remarkably similar.  Whether or not this was the case, he landed close to her and held out his hand, touching the foil of the blade with electricity dancing around his fingers.

"Electric Minefield," he muttered under his breath, a glow of St. Elmo's fire unnaturally forming around the blade before a great surge of electricity entered through the sword and into the dragon.  Paired with the ice that already existed within the dragon, these explosive mines nestled around Eclaire's attack will launch the crystalline shards within the dragon's flesh in every direction, likely cutting through the innards and muscle like butter.

- Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Third Trial: Xeno'jiva fight -

Aura watched as the prince's wings materialized on his back before giving her back Rufus' lamp. She said nothing about the wish the prince had asked for, he had his reasons. Before she could voice her thoughts the prince took into the air with incredible speed. Aura didn't had much time to think since the cracks on the ground caused by the dragon were threatening to swallow her if she didn't back away. She focused on her surroundings as she began to run in the opposite direction of the dragon, jumping over any crack on the ground.

Sifrei had managed to destroy most of the falling crystals that were coming in his direction, and turned just in time as the prince called for everyone's help to finish the dragon. It was time to unleash everything he had against the creature to finish it off.

"Under the shining name of the Creator, may the light of judgment fall as rain upon those impure souls who crawl in the world. Sacred powers, cast your purifying light upon-"

At this point Sifrei heard the cry of one of his allies, which quickly made him fly towards the source of the scream. Apparently he was not the only one who noticed, as Mariel also came to help Elia, who was falling in one of the cracks on the ground caused by the dragon.

"Don't worry," Sifrei said to Elia, "we won't let you fall."

Rabiyu reached both hands out towards the dragon and focused. The prince had given them the chance to strike the creature and there was no way that they would miss that chance. The elf noticed that the Frostbearer's retainer's sword was creating ice around the spot it made contact and she decided to do the same but from underneath the beast.

"Heed my call, Spirits of the north. Let the flame of life be extinguished, and the cold embrace of death fall over the living!"

From beneath the dragon a glowing glyph began to glow with a pale bluish light, glowing brighter and brighter with each second. If the dragon didn't manage to move in time then it would be impaled by the several ice spikes that would come out of the glyph and would freeze it completely from the inside out.

- Henry, Alastor, Alicia and Typhon - JOINT ATTACK, GO! -

Henry gritted his teeth as he saw the chaos that emerged as the beasts powered up again, this wasn't good, but he needed to do something. First, he saw Helios lunging at the beast, holding it still in its basilisk form, it was then Henry thought something up on the fly, if his new power was energy projection and storing...could he change the energy projected for multiple needs? "Helios! A boost!" Henry spoke as he used energy to dash towards him, jumping into the air and placing his hand, the crimson energy aura turned blue as he transferred some energy right into Helios's basilisk's body, which aimed to empower him, hoping pure energy, converted into empowering energy would help him push the dragon back. If it did work, Helios would be enveloped by a dark blue aura of energy, empowering him greatly both magicaly and in strenght, as well as give him little resistance to damage.

Henry soon afterwards spotted Raiden and Eclaire on top of the dragon, doing a joint attack of their own. "Let me in on that..." Henry muttered as he changed his vision to the dragon's stomach, taking the opportunity as the dragon was possibly stunned by everyone's attacks, or at least distracted, he unsheathed his sword, which was currently broken in half...from a longsword it made more of an arming sword at best, a short sword at worst, either way, the blade was still sharp, as it crackled with energy as he dashed right below Xeno, right opposite of the spot Eclaire and Raiden were attacking.

Sliding during his dash as he stabbed the dragon's stomach with full force on the spot, channeling massive ammounts of energy onto his sword and onto the dragon as well. It aimed to meet the ice and lightning, and empower them with pure magic energy, increasing their powers massively, which would result in a massive internal explosion of ice and lightning, both empowered, from within it. Raide and Eclaire would also feel Henry's empowering energy reaching them, as it traced the current of magic right back to them, the casters of said spells.

"You. Grimoire girl." Meanwhile Alastor spoke to Alicia, who simply stared at him. "Empower me with your elements, I will assist them in dealing the final blow." He ordered her, which she gritted her teeth, almost retorting back angrily, but recomposing herself before doing so, in such she began to concentrate and gather energy, as well as Alastor, whose aura was fully cloaked in draconic energy and lightning.

"The fury of fire, The Endurance of Earth, The Sharpness of wind, and the Tide of Water, come to me!" Alicia chanted as four orbs, of their respective elements formed around her hand, floating around it with runic-like glyphs binding them, as she swung her hand towards Alastor, the orbs flew towards his back, all of them hitting it square on, Suddenly Alastor's energy was enhanced with the four elements, lightning and draconic energy. Alastor didn't mince words, he simply vanished in a bolt of lightning. And reapearing right at the ceiling of the arena, right on top of Xeno, as he launched downards in a spiral of energy, his twin swords aimed at Xeno's neck. "Northern Stinger!" Alastor shouted as he boosted forward, aiming to impale the dragon's neck with all elements he had been enhanced with.

All the while Typhon just sat in a corner and just watched the scene unfold. "Im not getting anywhere near that mayhem of magic and destructive energy...Even with my exoskeleton i'l be evaporated.". He said, shrugging.

Soul Lord Xeno’jiiva, Trial of might and Self

Everyone took advantage of the situation, and started attacking the Xeno’jiiva with all their might. Bherna contributes by hurling her glaive at its eye, while Dawson slashing down along its spine. The incredible barrage on the beast was too much for it, causing it to collapse to the ground. Jynn lifts off of its back with his sword and Silfrei’s sword in his other hand. He lets loose four powerful explosions of energy on the beast before landing back to the ground.

The dragon was unable to stand up or even move. It’s breathing intensified. It makes one last attempt to mock the group. “Heh. You may have defeated me............ but let’s see how well you can figure out a way forward.” It’s breathing stopped, and its eyes shut. It has given in to the embrace of death.

Jynn’s darkness dissipates, with the sudden decrease of his senses exhausting him. He sat down, while letting everyone know he’s alright. “Sorry. I just need a minute to recover.” He tosses Silfrei’s sword in front of the owner’s feet. Dawson chimes in. “So, how do we get out of here?” Jynn takes a glimpse at everyone before making a suggestion. “Everyone split up, there’s got to be an entry to the next area.”

Dawson and Bherna split up to search. If everyone looks hard enough, they will find a formation of crystals appearing as a table, as well as a text on a wall, written in draconic language, translating to;

“Brave souls who completed this trial, to open the next path, one must sacrifice the gem of the slain beast to the pedestal.”

Jynn looks to Alicia. “Alicia, may I.......... have a moment with you?”
