The wall that Helios struck with the ginormous cobra gave way, which revealed to be several large metal crates.  At the same time, these crates were being pushed by Henry, causing them to shift and collapse with a loud clatter that echoed against the walls of the labyrinth.  Rabiyu, Henry, Soren, Aura, Rufus, and Bherna would see the cobra fly through the air toward them, Helios in tow.  The opened room would reveal Eclaire, Arthur, and Athena.  One of the other walls, upon closer inspection, had actually been comprised of crates as well.  Could this lead deeper into the maze, or was it another trap?

Regardless, the party had their hands full.  The cobra recovered quickly from the fall, wrapping its body tightly around Helios and throwing him toward a wall.  It hissed at those who'd been in the labyrinth, baring its pointed fangs that dripped with venom.  It charged toward Soren, unhinging its mouth as though prepared to eat the demon whole.  Its body whipped quickly with its movement, thrashing Aura and Bherna in the process.

Athena was shocked at the display, immediately recognizing Aura and Rabiyu.  She laced her fingers within Arthur's free hand, glancing up at him over her shoulder.  "I'm sorry," she voiced.  "But I had to come.  I know that you and father didn't want me to, but–"

*cues moment for Arthur to grasp her shoulders angrily before kissing her Ron-and-Hermione style*

- Soren Monroe, Servant of Shiva's Will - Isopolis, The Second Trial: Cobra Attack -

There was little time to think as, suddenly, the wall ahead gave way, revealing itself to be yet more crates as a humongous cobra came crashing through it, an equally large white basilisk being the perpetrator which, considering the emergence of Eclaire, Arthur and Princess Athena, had to be Helios attacking his prey. The monstrous reptile then hurled Basilisk!Helios across the room with fury, baring its fangs as it began an open-mouthed charge toward Soren, threatening to consume him whole.

"Spread out!!" Soren bellowed, not wanting anyone else in the Cobra's path as he took a sizable backstep, then rolled to the right side and would attempt to stab the Cobra in its left eye, kicking against the beast with great force as to knock it off balance and delivering a slash to the soft underbelly should it be exposed. Soon after, Soren would wreathe himself in hellfire and transform into his Demonic Form, his claymore becoming engulfed in flame and his skin now hard as rock with blood of magma once again.

"I hate to interrupt, lovebirds, but we have more pressing matters at hand!! Arthur, keep the Princess safe!" Soren ordered in a deeper, demonic voice, hurling a fireball at the Cobra's face as he did. "We're not about to let King Alderon down now!" He added, positioning himself to defend those who needed it.

"Henry?! You still with us?!"

- Meksis, the United, Armour of Twilight - Battle of Two Brothers FLASHBACK - Struggling -

He wouldn't admit it and would do his damnedest to not show it, but Meksis was tiring out from the lengthy battle with his blood brother, now chaos incarnate, who's blood-cursed Katana had truly done a number on the otherwise steadfast armour. Even his darkness was feeling the strain, leaving Meksis in a tricky position as Maxis spoke in ever more deranged sentences, his katana at Meksis's throat.

"The dream was indeed lost...but..." Meksis had to stop for a deep breath, showing true weakness for the first time in this fight...doubt had not settled in, for the Chaperone stayed strong within him, but his spirit was showing cracks in its armour. "No matter how impure it became, it was always lost to you, God of Madness. My dream, on the other hand? ...even, even with the Defiled, mine is still mostly pure...and you will never have it." Meksis spoke in defiance, preparing himself for the remainder of the fight that was sure to resume.

But as the United prepared to defend against Maxis's attack, he was accosted by a new fighter; who grabbed his arm and impaled Maxis with a golden-white rapier, leaving Maxis vulnerable.

"Um, greetings. How opportune of you." Meksis replied wryly, then took advantage by smacking Mad!Maxis in the face with his shield, impaling him in the side with his greatsword before dismissing his shield and following up with a few punches to the face, alternating between regular and backhanded, then grabbing his head with said hand, attempting to Dominate Maxis once more as the Stranger restrained him.

"Forfeit your mind!!" He screamed, attempting to attack his mind again.

- Arthur & Helios - /w Athena, Eclaire, Rabiyu, Henry, Soren, Aura, Rufus, and Bherna - Basilisk Showdown in the Labyrinth -

The moment that Arthur felt Athena's hand hold his, he didn't hesitate. With a gentle pull, he pulled Athena into his arms. He let go of her had to wrap it around her waist and pulled her into a kiss. Even with sparks of lightning surrounding him, they did not harm her, and instead wrapped around her as if the power was part of her all along. The kiss was passionate enough, but at least Arthur didn't linger too much, pulling away as he pressed his forehead against hers ever so gently. "So headstrong," He spoke, his voice full of endearment as he smiled at his princess. "But then it wouldn't be you if you weren't." He wasn't mad. He was worried, yes, but he could not be mad at her. She was as brave as the knights she was meant to lead one day, and even braver. "Be careful, and stay close." Arthur warned, looking back up as Helios and the Basilisk were going at it. "This place is full of traps, and we have no idea what will be next." He said, holding her hand as he hurried onto the other side of the wall. It had been made out of crates with a facade of rock. He recognized the ones across the other side, who barely missed the two snakes crashing through. "Sir Soren!" Arthur yelled, walking through the wall, holding Athena's hand before clearing his throat. "So...it turns out we chose the wrong door-"

Helios hissed as he was wrapped around and thrown into another wall. Casually, it was the same wall that seemed to be made out of barrels, breaking through it before standing back up. "(This form is too large. I'll run out of Magik and energy soon.)" Helios thought, hissing loudly. He was quick to respond, shaking his head as he slithered back up at the snake, attacking it from behind as Soren attacked it with the fireball.

- Henry - Showdown with the snake at the Labyrinth -

"Why does it have to be snakes?" Henry spoke as he saw the snake fly by, flung by what seemed like a basilisk, DIdn't matter, he was still holding the crate over his head as everyone had passed under it safely, but before he could do much, THe snake had thrown the basilisk on a wall, which caused the entirety of the surroundings to shake, unbalancing Henry's grip on the crate. "Oh crap." Henry grunted as he lost grip for a split second, enough for the crate to fall on top of him completely. But after a few seconds, his arm broke out of the crate, as the rest of his body followed, covered in a rock-like armor as it dissolved as he left it, Henry didn't waste any time, immediately dashing at the snake's body as it thrashed around, blocking the blow for Aura and Bherna as he attempted to grab it and hold it still for Soren to land his attacks, as he'd squeeze the hell out of the snake's body in his rock hard grip.

He turned his head with a rather irritated expression towards Arthur...who was kissing Athena. "ARTHUR! You're the last person i'd expect to LEAVE HIS COMRADES FIGHTING TO KISS A GIRL!" Henry shouted at Arthur. "Now...GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!" Henry continued to shout at the boy, as his aura increased in intensity as he'd hold the snake in place for the rest of the party.

{Mariel: Isopolis: Through Malchior Gate - Straight Path}

Mariel quitely followed the others down the straight path, straining her senses to detect anything lurking. She hoped that whoever had designed this place went more into the animal themed death traps. Easier to deal with, in her experience. The next fork in the path was annoyingly expected.

"I'll go right." Mariel volunteered.

She didn't like the idea of splitting up at the beginning of this, but what mattered was that one of them made it to the heart of all this. Taking a breath, she emitted a short, low sonic scream down the right path, using a crude form of echolocation to glean as much information as she could before she fully committed.

- Rabiyu and Aura - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial -

Everyone was ready to cross once Henry was able to lift the crate, but the sudden appearence of a giant snake was very surprising. More importantly was that the other group, the one who went into the other door was there, all of them, except Helios. Aura looked around for a moment and thought it was strange that the giant snake was trying to attack the other creature, this made Aura realize that that other creature was Helios. The giant snake was trying to attack her and Bherna, but Henry managed to stop the attack. The young woman nodded and took out her sword, she was going to be ready once there was a chance to counter attack.

Meanwhile Rabiyu was looking at the giant snake, the excitement was rising as her eyes slowly turned crimson red and a smile appeared on her face. Perhaps this was the perfect time to cause some destruction, if the others were among the victims, oh well. Rabiyu raised her hand towards the giant snake, and pointed at it with with two of her fingers. Magic was gathering at the tips of those fingers, magic powerful enough to vanish the creature from excistance itself, however, something cause her to stop and her eyes return to normal. These were her friends, her allies, she had to help, not hurt them.

"Zii do Felniir, fahraal dii faan. Kuz dii hokoron kotin hin krah mahlov," Rabiyu said as her voice echoed, "Qahnaar niin kotin vozahnil. "

Rabiyu's surroundings began to feel colder, the snake would also feel spots on its body slowly freezing over thanks to Rabiyu's magic spell. The elf was being careful to not freeze spots close to the others, she didn't wanted to freeze them too. Perhaps the ice would be able to slow the giant snake down, at least for a little.

- Odin, within the second trial and maze of Isopolis -

With the din of a shriek and further commotions, it was evident that someone, somewhere, had fallen victim to one of Isopolis' many snares, and Odin assumed that they might very well do the same thing.  Jynn could handle himself and others on whatever path they travel, besides the possibility of his doing poorly at logic riddles, and he trusted in his own ability to handle situations as well, so the answer came clear to him as to which path to take.

"I will take the straight path, in such a case, and leave the right path to you, Jynn," he brought up, the slightest of smiles lit upon his face, even if he was highly skeptical of the path he chose.

If the path was more than a survival challenge, a riddle, or some sort of other grave trap, he did not care to play nice with the possibility of failing at getting to the Source of All Life.  If the suspected culprits of many a crime got to it first, the Overworld will fall into a state of utter uniformity, chaos, or impracticality.  He could not allow this, not without recompense.

He took a glance at the golden weapon in his hand, the blade itself flickering ominously in the blue light before maintaining its dull yellow glow.  Lysander was a rarity in comparison to other swords.  It reacted to him as a mirror would, the owner's true emotions and true self being presented to only the one handling Lysander.  It gave him reassurance in the best and worst of times, and other times it gave him the shock he needed to survive tragedies and come out stronger.  Furthermore, it had more than the simple use of rending flesh; it had the ability to make a person's comprehension malleable as well, imparting some understanding to those that it cut, and yet leaving no mark on them while doing so.  It was the perfect weapon for him, one sharp in physical warfare and sharper in psychological warfare.

- Rufus, within a giant mess of a situation in the maze of Isopolis -

Much had occurred while Rufus was hovering about deep in thought.  For one, a giant snake came crashing through the wall in front of the party, landing about three feet away from him with another giant creature tangled up with it.  He looked in its direction, just a casual glance, before winding up and shouting at the top of his little lungs "HOLY CHEESE WHEELS!"

Thankfully nobody seemed hurt, and no matter what it likely a direct hit of both creatures would not have affected him in the slightest, thanks to his intangibility, but it also made him not very effective in a fight.  His usefulness was limited to sealing magic and granting wishes, and tangoing with two massive critters in a group battle was about as sensible to him as mixing up a bowl of fruit punch in the centre of the earth.  As a result, he zipped into the room through the scenario, grabbed his imaginary cheerleader pom-poms, and put on an act.

"Rick 'em, rack 'em, rock 'em, rake!  Stick that sword into that snake!" he chanted, getting very much into the groove of cheering on his compatriots.  In fact, he threw out his arms and legs to the max with every movement, accentuating every motion with his eclectic facial expressions.

Bherna Lao-Isopolis, fighting a big snek

The sudden appearance of a giant serpent almost took Aura and Bherna by surprise, but thanks to Henry’s quick actions, the attack was halted. Bherna spreads her wings and prepares to fight. In conjunction with Rabiyu’s freezing spell, Bherna uses her glaive to create a blistering cold aura to keep any attempts to attack her unpleasant for the monster. The glaive turns into ice, and a layer of frost builds up on her torso, giving her immunity to any misfired ice. She uses her wings to spread a blast of ice at the serpent, making sure none of it hits her allies. She then lunges at it and attempts to perform a swift strike at it with her weapon. She would attempt to latch on to the top of the creature’s head and jab it with icy knives if the attack connects.

- Arthur & Helios - /w Athena, Eclaire, Rabiyu, Henry, Soren, Aura, Rufus, and Bherna - Basilisk Showdown in the Labyrinth -

Arthur jumped as he was scolded for kissing Athena. He turned, glaring at them. "Give me a break!" He yelled, his face turning red. He turned back to Athena, smiling as he rubbed the back of his head. "So, um, I'm going go ahead and help? Be careful, alright? Talk to you later?" He asked, smiling sheepishly as he let go of Athena. The moment he did, his attention turned to the beast. He jumped, disappearing in a strike of lightning. He reappeared at the end of it's tail, running up its body. "Helios!" Arthur yelled. Helios nodded, preparing himself in his basilisk form as he was wrapping himself around the Basilisk, trying to get it down for them to take it down. Arthur ran up the Basilisk, jumping off it before aiming to land on Helios' tail. Helios proceeded to launch Arthur upwards, and right over the Basilisk. Arthur charged up electricity around him, holding his blade as he focused on it. He screamed, feeling the energy run down as he landed on the Basilisk's head. He used the force of the fall to pierce the sword right into its skull, screaming as he unleashed lightning into the Basilisk. Sparks flew from him, hoping to electrocute the beast from the inside. Helios grunted a bit at the sparks, burning his skin too, but damn, he hoped that it hurt the Basilisk more than it hurt him.

Eclaire: Why did it have to be snakes?

Eclaire had reacted quickly. Grabbing Athena and lifting off, she dropped the girl off with Arthur once the hole was made. As everyone began attacking, she summoned In Paradisum, herself now crackling with lightning. Smiling briefly at Arthur and Athena's kiss, she lined up her shot. Everyone was striking it all over, but only Arthur had struck the head. As it coursed with lightning, she breathed.

"Seal of the Goddess of Light: Ruination of a False Sovereign."

A Seal Circle appeared behind the spear, and it too coursed with lightning. "ARTHUR. JUMP!" she roared, giving him two seconds before throwing her spear like a railgun at the Basilisk's head. If all this did not slay the beast, then she had no idea what would.

The second right: (Jynn, Typhon, Mariel, Alicia(?))

So far it seems that you have navigated through the labyrinth well, as you have encountered little resistance up until this point.  It is unknown what is happening to your allies, though various sounds can be heard from other places within the labyrinth.  For a moment you see a face unlike any other appear within the wall to your right: a solid red mask with black diagonal stripes, its eyes wide with what seems very dilated pupils.  Upon another glance, however, the face is gone.  Was it illusionary, or very much real?

You face yet another divergence in your path: shall you go right, or continue straight?

The continuous straight path: (Odin, Sifrei, Alastor(?))

As you continue down this path you find that the grinding sound grows in intensity until you greet a dead end.  The grinding then seems to emerge from right behind you.  If you glance over your shoulder you will find that buzz saws have dropped into grooves along the labyrinth flooring, in a direct path for your ankles.  The open space before you is no longer clear, either, with sharp objects appearing to be guillotines falling from the ceiling.

"This looks bad, my fellows," Alderon spoke, who had remained close to Raiden throughout their excursion into Isopolis.  "Can anyone stop or saw through a, well, saw?"

What will you do?

The cobra attack: (Eclaire, Helios, Arthur, Athena, Aura, Rabiyu, Henry, Soren, Rufus, Bherna)

The snake fell crippled on the ground with a loud hiss, very much dead from the assault from all parties.  Smoke emitted from where Eclaire's spear struck through its head, and slowly the snake dissolved.  In its wake appeared a key on the floor, made from what seemed solid black scales with an emerald at its center, like an eye.

When Arthur had drawn Athena in the princess gave a start in surprise, though his kiss was quite welcomed.  It was soft, tender, and passionate; everything that she had hoped for in her first kiss.  The human princess returned the kiss, one hand holding her sword out away from them whilst her other hand found its way against his neck.  She smiled shyly as her knight met her forehead.

"I will do as you say," she responded meekly, falling behind him.  The moment ended far too soon, and no one else seemed to be appreciative of their moment of affection.  A deep frown furrowed Athena's brow, though she didn't retort as she had wanted to.

The snake had fallen, yes, though what were they to do now?  A remaining wall of crates was visible on the other side of the room, and then there was the labyrinth halls that the others had emerged from.  Athena addressed Rabiyu, whom she felt that she knew best out of the group.

"Noble Judge," she began, offering her a courteous nod.  "Shall we continue where you came from?  Is there anything there?"

Jynn Venas-Isopolis

As Jynn’s group passes on, the prince can’t help but hear various sounds coming from all around them. “I hope everyone’s alright.......” But as soon as he states his concerns, a mysterious red head appears on the wall nearby. But after Jynn quickly blinks, the face is gone. What the hell? I swear I just saw a head. I must be imagining things.

It is not to long before the group stumbles upon another diverted pathway. “This just keeps going on and on doesn’t it?” He turns back to everyone. “I’m going to take another right. We need to split up again so at least someone makes it to the next trial.”

Dawson-Isopolis

As Sifrei’s group presses on, the grinding sound from earlier is closer. They then hit a dead end and are forced to turn around, only to find the source of the grinding sound. Sharp saws emerge out of grooves on the ground, reaching the height of a human’s ankles, and up to the height of Dawson’s neck.

Alderon asks if anyone can stop a saw. Dawson chimes in. “I could use bombs. But I don’t think it’ll help to be honest.”

- Arthur & Helios - /w Athena, Eclaire, Rabiyu, Henry, Soren, Aura, Rufus, and Bherna - Crate Room -

Smoke emitted from Helios' mouth as he slowly returned to his normal appearance. He panted, sweat on his brow as he used his forearm to wipe it away. "That...that was..." Helios panted, hands on his knees. He needed a breather. He straightened himself up, looking at the group. "So...it turns out that we took the wrong door." Helios spoke, watching as the snake dissolved into nothing. Well, almost nothing. A key was left behind. Helios walked over, kneeling down as he picked up the key. He was careful as he did, making sure that it wasn't coated in poison or anything. Once deemed safe, he picked up the key, staring at it. "Well, we got a key. Now we just have to find a door." Helios sighed, standing up. His attention went straight to the group that they had encountered, smiling softly at them. "I'm glad to see you guys are alright." He chuckled, turning back to Aura. He walked over to her, and quickly, but gently pressed his forehead against hers. "I'm glad you're alright too." He muttered. He held the key up, staring down at it before looking back up at the group. "We have a key, and another wall of crates...I kind of want to see what's behind the wall, but I'm concerned that we are going to find another snake." Helios admitted, rubbing the back of his head.

Arthur jumped off as Eclaire finished off the snake, landing on the floor. He watched the snake fall and quickly dismissed the lightning that surrounded him. He sheathed his sword, quickly turning to the rest of the group. "Glad to see you are all well." Arthur spoke, smiling at the group. He rubbed the back of his head and turned to look at Athena. He walked back to her, a gentle smile on his features. "You're so stubborn, my princess. But you should've warned you were coming with us. To get separated in this place...I would never forgive myself if something happened to you." He rubbed his head a bit, looking around at the room. "Well, at least even if we end up in one place, we can end up reaching somewhere else...sure with more trouble, but we get there eventually."

-Eclaire - with almost everyone else-

Landing, she dissolved her spear back to Armory, and rejoined the others. Her tail flicked a bit, her catlike eyes moving over the crates. As Arthur and Athena conversed with the others, she pressed a hand to one of the crates. Frowning, she looked over them all, then reached back to grasp Shiva. The blade seemed to hum under her hand, and she let go and turned back. She had made a poor decision, but wordplay was never her strong suite....and it seemed a majority of the group currently was here. "Where is Thane when you need a mountain moved." She muttered to herself. Leaning against the crates, she closed her eyes and merely listened to the others, weighing the next move.

-Rhaedyn Thane and Xion Izanami-

The Iron Lord stepped over the bodies of guards and headed inside. Right behind him was the Queen of the Succubi, who was less regal and more...maternal panic. "She had to have come here, I feel her." She looked around, now at the doors. "Why did that damn maid not speak up sooner?"

"Patience, Nightqueen." He intoned. "We are far behind, but close."

"Why are you even here, Thane?" She growled, looking at the damn doors. "I'm here to make sure my idiot daughter doesn't die."

The man was quiet for a moment. "An oath to keep with final breath."

Xion looked at him. Frowning, she headed straight ahead. "I hear people. One of them should know."

Thane merely followed as the sole-minded Succubus just walked straight ahead, and kept walking straight. She was on a mission.

"Gods be damned, a maze." She was pissed. "That damn girl will be lucky if I don't collar her in a dungeon!"

Thane actually sighed. He should have double-checked that Mikhail had a way to keep up. The Witcher, at least, would have been far calmer company.

~Aqua: Isopolis, Shrine of the Holy Plot Device-The Maze, Choice One Right Path~

Aqua had followed the larger group through the Melchior door, but had soon stopped as the path ahead was split. She could stay on the path forward or go right. The seemingly random choice bothered her deeply. A maze was a very clever way to mask the second set of trails, all Aqua had to do was pick which path of doom she wanted to go on and that choice was a hard one. She decided that the right path was her best choice. Of course, the rest of the group had already made their way down one of the two paths. She was left behind, but she was used to that by now. She would run into someone else before long unless everyone else died, after all, they all needed to get to the same place. As she walked down the path she heard quite the commotion started, it mostly involved loud hissing sounds, but before long it died down again.

- Sifrei - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial -

The path had been calm for most of the time that they were walking, although the strange grinding sound was getting louder and louder with each passing second, until the group ended up in a dead end. The grinding sound then sounded even louder than before and Sifrei noticed that there were grooves along the labyrinth flooring, the intent of the trap was fairly obvious at this point. The Archangel took a couple of steps forwards, only to jump back as a guillotine fell from the ceiling, barely missing the fey by mere inches. The buzz saws were coming their way and Sifrei's priority was to protect his allies.

"Ne gah-l noasmi nanaeel blans su!"

Sifrei spoke in enochian, the ancient language of the angels, and reached his hand out with an open palm, and focused his mind. Magical barriers made of light would then appear along the saws's path. Another smaller orb of light appeared in the middle of the group, it pulsated with a low beat, slowly getting bigger and bigger until every member of the group was inside a protective barrier.

"Bombs won't be necessary, they could collapse the path and then we would lose time in trying to get out of this place. Someone else should attempt to destroy this blasted things before we lose a limb, or worse. Don't worry, I'll hold them off for now. "

- Rabiyu and Aura - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial -

The giant snake was dead, that much was obvious, and all thanks to the efforts of everyone involved. the giant creature had dropped what seemed like a key, one finely crafted key in Rabiyu's opinion. The key was made of solid black scales and an emerald at its center, it gave the appearence of an eye of sorts. The elf walked closer to the crates and placed her hand on one of them.

"By the look of things, it seems that ours was the correct answer to the first trial. Going back into the labyrinth would be an acceptable choice. Altough going back would mean wasting time in retracing our steps, and the probability of getting lost along the way would be high," Rabiyu said to Athena while inspecting the crates, "There is also the fact that the size of the group would be a hindrance if we had to fight in such a small place. I am also interested in what the creature dropped just now."

"I'm glad you are alright too," Aura whispered to Helios before looking at the group, " I think the same as Eli. Going back into the labyrinth would be a waste of time. And yet, I'm interested in what is behind those crates and where is the door that that key opens."

The elf was half-listening the group, but she was more interested in what she could do to help with the crates. Henry had been able to move one of the crates, for a moment, she wasn't sure about his current status, but she supposed that he needed some small amount of time to rest after such feat. She could feel a tingling sensation in the back of her mind, whispers, promises of knowledge and power. Promises that she rather not listen. Although, one word stuck out from the constant whispers in her mind, one that made her see glimpses of her lost childhood, but before she could learn it's meaning among the brief flashes of her past, the tingling stopped completely, just like her pieces of broken memories.

"I think the best course of action would be to try and get rid of the crates. Allow me to try something.  " She said as she took a few steps back and then pointed at the crates with two of her fingers. Anyone behind her would be unable to see has she smiled while her eyes turned red once again, "Bonugral!"

Although not completely reverting back to her old being, Rabiyu was excited to see if the spell was going to work. It was no living being, but a single crate would have to suffice, for now at least. If Isopolis didn't interfered with her spell, of course. If the spell was successful, then the spell would allow her to destroy the crate in front of her, it would be completely erased from existence, leaving no trace of every being present in that spot.

{Mariel: Isopolis; Through Malchior Gate - First Straight, Second Right}

"All who came are capable." Mariel said, trying to impart confidence in Jynn she didn't really feel herself. "They'll best whatever traps they come across."

The moment the Guardian Angel saw the masked being she had her swords out and in a defensive stance. It faded away, which was almost worse. So, a game master? A ghost? What ever in the hells it was, it was certainly not a welcome sign. Now, if it had indicated a door, that might have been something.

"I guess I'll take straight, then." Mariel responded after Jynn chose the straight path.

Remembering Sifrei's precaution from before, Mariel carved a quick angelic rune in the wall. She spoke something in her native tongue, causing he rune to glow with holy magic.

"Well, that should stay put in case we come this way again."

- Alastor - The Storm - Second trial, buzzsaws -

Alastor stood silent as they arrived at a flat dead end, with nothing to do there, but they soon noticed the trap set in place for them, Alderon voiced his concerns, Dawson did as welll, having suggested bombs for use, which were risky at best.  Sifrei having taken the initiative he was able to hold them off. Maybe it was time for Alastor to whip out the dragon magic, something he's hid from most, even Raiden himself for as far as he can remember. It hardly matters now, anyway, as the world hinges on this.

Alastor stepped beside Sifrei, "Good work archangel, now allow me". He spoke as he extended his arms towards the saws, holding out both his hand's index's fingers forward as the atmosphere around him would quickly shift, to a pure...yet uncanny and different one as the one he normaly carries out it, it was primal-like...pure power in the shortest term.

"Dwiin." Alastor uthered the words as the Buzzsaws and guillotines, once held by Sifrei, would stop in their tracks completely, not even spinning or moving, they had just stopped. As Alastor had just spoke the Draconic word for Metal or Steel, which was what these Buzz saws were made of. One indes finger would turn into an open palm, held upwards. "Du". As Alastor uttered the draconic word for devour, all of the machinations before them would slowly begin to age rapidly...surrounded by a faint, pure pale blue aura as he commanded them to be devoured by the magic, and with another.

With his index finger still pointing towards them, he twirled it as he spoke: "Aak Rii" As he spoke, all that was left of the buzzsaws and guillotines would turn to dust...and would all gather together in a line, traveling to Alastor's hand, "Wahl Tuz" As Alastor spoke the words the essence of the metal from the buzzsaws would spiral around, now onto his palm before taking shape, in that of a sword of pure steel. He effectively devoured the trap's materials, and made a weapon out of them on the fly. But as it was just simple metal the sword was entirely made of metal, and quite unwieldly, still. It was better than nothing.

Holding the newly created sword on his hand, as his Draconic aura subsided. "There. Path's clear, you earned a sword Archangel." Alastor spoke, extending his arm with the sword to Sifrei, hoping the Archangel would take it, and preferably throw it away later as it was in no way a good weapon.

- Henry - Second Trial, Crate wall -

"Nice work, Demon." Henry commented on Soren's performance against the snake, as everyone else was greeting each other, one couple was kissing and the new surprising one consisted of Aura and Helios greeting each other with foreheads. Making Henry feel a tad bit awkward. "Anybody else feel like a third wheel? No? Alright." Henry commented sarcasticaly as he looked at the situation they were in now.

"We'l get there eventualy but we don't have time to spare, i'd suggest going throw the wall of crates there...im sure we can ma-" And of course before Henry could finish his sentence he was surprised, and startled by Rabyiu's sudden incantation, in a language he did not know. He jumped to the side in surprise. "Well...damn..." Henry spoke, walking by Helios and Aura, folded his arms and waited for Rabyiu's incantation's results.

- Alica, Typhon - Isoplotolis - Second Trial -

Soon they came into yet another fork, except this time beforehand, Alicia specialy took note of the face that appeared at one of the walls, she stood silent but unnerved, as that face was like none she has ever seen before in her life, feeding her with some dread before they continued and stopped yet into another divergence.

"Why'd you all stop?" Typhon asked, basicaly unaware there was even a divergence there at all. He didn't hit any walls, but he didn't stop walking forward either. "Come on!" Typhon spoke. Alicia simply sighed.

"Mariel could you go with Typhon and watch over him, I don't think he's fit to be walking this labyrinth alone." Alicia requested Mariel as he walked to the right, gesturing for Jynn to follow. "Me and Jynn will go right." She finished.

- Mikhail - Not paid enough for this - Isopolis Labyrinth entrance -

"I firetrucking hate you Thane." Mikhail spoke grumpily as he had just passed through one of the opened doors by the earlier guests of the Shrine, the Melchior door in particular, he was minding his own business in Kilkis Seres before being approached by Thane, note: someone who had vanished before, teling the Witcher he'd be watching. Draggin the Witcher into yet another mission, except this time in his own words "The fate of the worlds depend on this! Come witcher!". And how was Mikhail going to refuse a walking boulder on wings and giant weapons.

A boulder on wings that didn't know the phrase wait for someone who doens't have wings catch up, as he and the woman named Xion, whom he had no success talking to since she basicaly ignored him the whole way to the Shrine. And lo and behold they stormed in much faster than he did inside the temple and were already gone. Leaving Mikhail by himself, venturing into a labyrinth that was utterly FILLED with magic essence, so much his pendant, which's sole purpose is to detect magic tremble and shake uncontrollably and annoy the shit out of the old, grumpy Witcher.

"God dammit all." Mikhail spoke in annoyiance as he took out a potion and popped its lid open, gulping it all down in one go, it was a sense enhancing poition designed for witchers, since his pendant was now useless, the next best thing was his senses, which were already superhuman, in fact he could hear the pacing of the panicked Xion in the distance and their footsteps on the rather plain floor. Now it was even more enhanced, just in case.

"Hope I don't find underground cheese like last time..." Mikhail commented dryly...but a tone of desperation in his tone, he really didn't want to find underground aged cheese again. Last time was too much.

Jynn Venas-Isopolis

As Typhon and Mariel chose to go straight, Alicia gestures for Jynn to follow alongside her. As they press on, the prince starts to wonder what’s up ahead. “Why do I have the feeling the next trial will not be as easy as this?” He then also starts to think about his motives here. “I have to confess something. As soon as Henry mentioned my mother’s murderer presence here, I felt an appalling drive, and made reckless decisions. I feel the need to kill him, to make him pay for killing the person who gave me life and made me who I am today. She may have made choices that even I argued over with her, but she was still family. But another side of me tells me not to.” He looks to Alicia. “Sorry. I’m thinking out loud too much.”

Dawson-Isopolis

Sifrei exclaims his concerns with Dawson’s bomb proposal. The palico shrugs. “It’s all I got.” But the former creates a protective barrier around the group. But then Alastor steps forward and performs an ancient magic, causing the saws and guillotine to turn to dust, and then he created a sword with it. Dawson’s jaw dropped. “You fey sure have some weird gimmicks to you guys don’t you?”

Bherna Lao-Isopolis

With everyone’s cooperation, the serpent dies. Bherna aura returns to normal and the ice on her glaive thaws. On the ground, lies a weird black key with an eye on it. She remains quiet and follows along with the group.

(Kinda suffering from writer’s block with Bherna)

(I'm riding in the car writing this on my phone, so I apologize for the very poor post in advance)

Third right: (Jynn, Alicia)

As the pair travel further down the path they encounter a swirling vortex for a walk, pooling together shades of blue and green. A figure with a head of icy blue locks stands before them with its back turned, though slowly turns as they approach.

A familiar smile appears on the late queen's face. "Jynn," she greets warmly. "Well done, my child. You have completed the labyrinth. Come, take my hand. I shall take you through this vortex where the Source of All Life awaits."

If Jynn sensed her aura, there was something not quite right about it.

The crates group: (Eclaire, Henry, Rabs, Arthur, Helios, Aura, Rufus, Soren, Aqua(?))

The crate which Rabiyu targeted ceased to be, leaving open a gaping hole. The labyrinth seemed to continue beyond the crates, soon diverging in paths: straight, or left.

Everyth clicked her tongue at Henry's third wheel remark, placing a hand on the dreadnaught's shoulder. " Come now, darling, no need to be like that." She offered him a sideways smirk, her body unnecessarily brushing against him as she moved forward. "I'm going straight this time after Hisie blasts the remaining crates into oblivion. Our prized weight lifter could lift one for us, but I fear he will pop a vein."

Athena, meanwhile, moved toward the crate alongside Eclaire.

"Arthur," she said, "would you be able to give me a lift up? I think I can climb on these crates over to the other side."

The second straight: (Odin, Alastor, Sifrei, Dawson, Rhaedyn, and Xion)

The barrier which Sifrei casted did a sufficient job at serving as protection. Meanwhile, Alastor was able to put the buzz saws out of commission permanently. A path appeared that had not been there before, leading into seemingly another room with an elongated table. Along the table were many vials of different shapes and sizes.

Are you ready for another riddle? :D

The final stretch: (Mariel and Typhon):

Out of everyone, only the two of you have managed to get to the end of the labyrinth. Below you is an image of a dragon upon stained glass, and before you is a set of double doors at least sixteen feet tall. At eye level there is a keyhole but you have no key. The door looks sturdy, but could potentially be broken down.

What will you do?

- Sifrei - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial -

Sifrei's barriers had made it possible to stop the buzz saws in their tracks, and also made enough time for Alastor to use something the Archangel was very familiar with, something he had experienced first hand when his elven friend was casting spells in dangerous situations, the feeling of ancient raw magic. Internally he was impressed, in all his years he had met just a small amount of feys capable of understand and use the ancient tongue. This time, however, was not the time to try to find out how or why Alastor, one of Raiden's soldiers, was able to speak ancient draconic.

"Interesting. I will take the sword, Master Alastor," Sifrei said as he took the sword, "Although in it's current state, I'm afraid that it would be pretty useless. Perhaps the Judge Magister would like to have it to use it at a later date."

When Sifrei turned around he noticed that another path that hadn't been there before had appeared. As he entered the slowly room and inspected it, there was only a long table in the room, and on that table there were many vials with different shapes and sizes.

"I do not see anything besides this table," Sifrei said as he inspected the many vials in the table, "and with all these vials I can only think that this is most likely another puzzle."

- Rabiyu and Aura - Isopolis Shrine: Second Trial -

It had worked, the spell was a success, but so was the sudden feeling of dispair and dread at the back of the elf's mind. The crate had been dissolved into oblivion, leaving an open path behind it, a path that, apparently, split once more. One path straight, the other to the left. In any case, there were more crates to destroy. One by one Rabiyu pointed at the crates, and one by one they were dissolved into particles of light that dissapeared mere moments later. When the moment came to destroy the crate behind Eclaire, with princess Athena close by, Rabiyu felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, I think that is enough, Eli," The voice of Aura said, " the path is clear and we can keep going now. There is no need to destroy all the crates."

Aura couldn't see it, but Rabiyu's eyes, currently covered by her white locks, were staring directly into the crate, or maybe, directly at Eclaire and the princess. The urge to send the crate, or perhaps both of them, into oblivion receded, her smile slowly faded and her eyes went back the their natural silvery blue hue.

"Of course, I apologize. I think I went a little overboard. Although the path is now open and we can move forward," Rabiyu said as she walked into the path, only to stop at the point where the path split, " straight or left? Which way should we take? Once again, the paths are to narrow, and if there is a fight, then we will have a disadvantage."

"That is a good point," Aura answered, "I will keep going  straight, I think."

"Then I will follow the same path," Rabiyu said calmly, " I do not want you to wander off without someone watching over you."

"Thanks, MOM," Aura said as she gently punched Rabiyu's arm, "Now let's get moving, who knows if the others made it out of the labyrinth already."

{Mariel: Isopolis; Through Malchior Gate - First Straight, Second Right, Third Straight}

Mariel was a little surprised by that she and Typhon seemed to be out of maze part of the trials.

"Count your blessings." She murmured as she looked down at the stained glass dragon.

Striding forward, the Guardian Angel examined the door. Key required, but not found.

"What do we think?" She asked, turning to the bugman. "The key back in the labyrinth, or are we missing something in this room?"

Turning back to the door, Mariel gives it a frown.

"Could try to break it down, but that might spring a trap itself."

- Arthur & Helios - /w Athena, Eclaire, Rabiyu, Henry, Soren, Aura, Rufus, and Bherna - Crate Room -

Helios smiled at Henry, rubbing the back of his head. Oh yeah, Henry didn't know. Whoops. He looked up at the paths, hearing the opinions as they began to decide which path to take. So far, everyone was saying that they should go straight, and seeing that his last decision ended them up in that catastrophe, he decided to go along. "I agree with the fact that we must stick together. So if the majority says to go straight, we should agree on it." Helios said, holding Aura's hand still. He looked up at the group. "I could go in front and transform if needed to be." Helios suggested, looking down at the key. "Maybe we can find a door to match this key." He said. He hoped that the others were alright. They hadn't heard screaming, but then again, these  guys didn't hear their either. Arthur looked at Athena as she called for him, walking over to her before he looked up at the crate. "Alright, though we shouldn't stray from the group." Arthur said, looking down at her. He knelt down, crossing his hands together. "Up you go." He said, pushing her upwards. "Be careful. I can break the crates, you know. Burn them to ash or something." He suggested. "Don't burn them. There's limited oxygen in here and smoke will not help!" Helios called over. Arthur looked back. "Then I'll smack them with my sword!"

Rhaedyn THANE and Xion w/Odin and Company

Thane and Xion caught up. The others had made it past, though Thane stopped. Eying Alastor, he chose to wait. War was hell. War was over. Justice may wait.

"Are you those who seek the Source to protect, or use it? Thane announced his presence with an inquiry, Dawnmourne held in his hand.

Xion pushed past the metal man. "Has anyone seen a pink-haired girl, probably acting foolish?" She demanded, ignoring the table for now. "I know she's here."

Eclaire w/ the Crates people

Eclaire watched her start climbing, then took flight, hovering behind Athena. "Allow me to carry you, ma'am." She asked courteously. "It would be better to save what strength you have." She smiled lightly, offering a hand. For now, reconnaissance.

Alastor, Odin, Dawson, Sifrei, Rhaedyn, Xion: Sub-trial

This room consists of a table, with seven small glass vials, each a different color and size, as per the diagram below:

yZRxCkh.jpg

Flames spring up around you.  Behind you lie ebon flames of darkness, whilst the flames before you are tainted violet.  On the table alongside the vials lie a rolled up piece of parchment, which reads:

Danger lies before you, while safety lies behind,

Two of us will help you, whichever you would find,

One among us seven will let you move ahead,

Another will transport the drinker back instead,

Two among our number hold only nettle wine,

Three of us are killers, waiting hidden in line.

Choose, unless you wish to stay here for evermore,

To help you in your choice, we give you these clues four:

First, however slyly the poison tries to hide

You will always find some on nettle wine’s left side;

Second, different are those who stand at either end,

But if you would move onwards, neither is your friend;

Third, as you see clearly, all are different size,

Neither dwarf nor giant holds death in their insides;

Fourth, the second left and the second on the right

Are twins once you taste them, though different at first sight.

Cookies for whoever recognizes this.

Will update for the others in a day or so to give everyone a little more time.
