Dagesh Lene 366 Posted July 7, 2016 (edited) Major spoilers for Kingdom Hearts X [chi]: SPOILERS: Click to reveal In the latest update for Kingdom Hearts X [chi], we find out that the man in the black coat is the sixth apprentice, Luxu. However, not only did Nomura hint that the man in the black coat is the Master of Masters in an earlier interview with Famitsu, but Famitsu also recently asked Nomura directly if the man in the black coat is the Master of Masters, and Nomura said that he was! So, either Nomura was leading us astray, or the Master of Masters possessed Luxu! This is the only thing that makes sense to me right now, but what do you guys think? Or there are two guys with black coats? I don't know why everyone is jumping to these conclusions, more than one person has had a black coat in KH and since both of them are somewhat in hiding it would make since that both have these coats. 3 Greg Stewart, PrinceNoctis and khsg reacted to this
ShadowKeyblade 219 Posted July 7, 2016 Or perhaps the original MoM passed down his will to Luxu, thus becoming the new "Master of Masters." So what Nomura said is true, from a certain point of view. I seriously doubt he's straight up lying, that's for sure.

It could be morally grey, but most likely he wanted access to Kingdom Hearts' power. So yeah, he's probably evil.

Dustin Newton 60 Posted July 7, 2016 i like (not really) how every one assumes that there is only one black coat. When it really wouldn't be that hard to make another one (it's also smart to make another one). What if it's just what the master wanted his apprentices to wear? Now that 5 of them are foretellers, they don't have to wear it. Yeah it's possible that 6th took over the MoM, but the MoM doing it to the last apprentice is stretching it pretty far given that he cares for his students. Essentially wiping one from existence doesn't quite fit. 1 Kingdomhe reacted to this

While it is a definite possibility that there is more than one person in a black coat, we have gotten no hints whatsoever to there being more than one. Therefore, I personally do not think that there is. However, I could be wrong. Major spoilers for Kingdom Hearts X [chi]: SPOILERS: Click to reveal I don't think that we are ever told that the Master of Masters cares for his students, are we? If I am mistaken, please tell me. However, even if we were told that, in the latest update, it seemed to imply that the lost page revealed that the Master of Masters wanted all of this to happen, even though the Foretellers thought that he wanted them to stop it all from happening. So, as of right now, it seems to me that the Master of Masters is the main villain of the game, and it doesn't seem like too far of a stretch to me that the Master of Masters would possess Luxu, especially since Luxu apparently vanished around the same time that the Master of Masters did. Hallowseve 143 Posted July 8, 2016 I originally believed two people wore the black coats, then I was convinced otherwise, and now I will return and firmly stick with the "two coats" belief. 1 Kingdomhe reacted to this

I really think that there's a lot of mystery in regards to the Master of Masters for that very reason. I imagine that if there isn't much more information divulged within X, Unchained X, or Kingdom Hearts III? Then yeah, he's probably the next big bad for the series. It's a little too early to tell, though.
Henne 150 Posted July 10, 2016 How about this: Neither Luxu nor the MoM are evil but the keyblade they(?) and Xehanort use posesses an "evil" will. After all, it is the oldest keyblade for some reason.

Or because he think it's fun!(PSYCHOPATH! ) Okay, it's stupid "Xehanort want to see what happen after a Keyblade War." in short. Soooooo... Why did you think it's him again?
