Name something you hate, but most people love.

Recommended Posts

-Shipping of characters of the same gender. Don't question me, I just don't like it. Sorry Sora x Riku fans.
-Corrin. We have enough Fire Emblem characters in Smash. That creature just is a waste of room for a more awesome character (like Sora).
-Bayonneta (Smash). Mostly for show, she really only has one combo (IN MY OPINION!).
-Cars with loud engines. Sorry bud, but nobody cares about the customized engine in the Mustang GT that you most likely borrowed from your dad.
-Terra (KH). If you've heard HMK's rant about him, you'll know.

Please no one word responses guys. It needs to properly contribute. Thanks!

The Matrix. It's an atrocious movie on every level, but everyone seems to buy into its pseudo messages, not realizing that the film contradicts every message that it puts forth.

Watermelon - I don't know why, but no matter how much I try to like it, the texture is just too much like sand on my tongue!

Star Wars - I will be the first person to admit that I think this series is HORRIBLY overrated!

Shooters - Mostly because they're almost all about the U.S. vs some our old enemies, set in a different time (terrorists, Russia, neo-nazi Germany, etc), which, frankly is purely unoriginal! How about making something else, EA and Activision!

Most Anime/Manga - Much of it still portraits women as either hyper-sensitive and defenseless, or practically objectifies them. I can't even stand to read Fairy Tail anymore because in every battle, the girls, even Wendy, who is like... 12 years old, ends up getting their clothes torn apart! And is almost NEVER happens with the men! You can't deny it's sexist!

Fragrances - I have a pretty sensitive nose, so perfumes, incense, scented oils or anything of the like either burns my nose, or sometimes will even make me nauseous.

Watching movies - Rather, a movie that I feel like I may not like. I would rather avoid the potential that I will have wasted up to two hours of my life watching a movie that I may not like and just end up playing video games instead.

Tattoos/piercings - Call me old-fashioned or backwards-thinking, but I don't really care for tattoos, and facial and body piercings freak me out! I don't know why, but something about both just seems so gross to me! That's not to say I can't accept people who have one or both. But I don't think I could ever date someone with either. Ears are fine, but multiple ear piercings also freak me out.

-Star Wars

I just never liked it. I don't know why.

-Marvel

Almost every Marvel movie bores me to tears, and I don't bother with the comics.

-Final Fantasy 13, 13-2, and FF 5

I'm sorry, I just do.

-Gore in anime/manga

Some people love gory animes or mangas, but they repulse me. Crud like Elfin Lied or Hellsing just makes me ill.

-Disney

As it is now, not in general. Just a giant, money loving crudshack (I'm cleaning up my words) who prefers merch over movies nowadays.

Well, one thing that I hate is Twilight.  Like, I never understood all the obsessive fangirling over Edward and Jacob, ya know?  There's just something about those movies that just never sparked my interest, ya know?  I only saw the first one, and that was that!  I never saw the other films in the Saga, ya know?  I'm sure the books are probably really great, but for the movies, I dunno, they just don't spark my curiosity!  But well, back when Twilight was having its run, there were the Team Edwards and Team Jacobs that dominated in commercials for Subway and whatnot.  Talk about fangirl material! xD

I guess if we're on the subject of Twilight, for me it's vampires. I don't actually hate vampires themselves as much as I hate the overexposure compared to other supernatural things, and how they tend to be used more for sex appeal especially in paranormal romance over anything. Remember when people liked making vampires scary? Pepperidge Farm remembers. I'm more of a ghost fan myself, so that might contribute to things... not that ghosts themselves are used for much beyond being spooky scary, but that's a rant for another thread.
