Endless Thundaga 533 Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) I'm not half correct. 10% maybe. That looks very interesting.Fun fact; dressage actually dates back many hundreds of years ago. It was a skill used in war as well, allowing the horse to easily maneuver around the battlefield. I actually was considering showcasing this with Jynn and Melstrome, but due to time constraints and the fact that the target was Raiden, I couldn't bring myself to do it. Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted September 3, 2017 So much sickness and troubles as of late. This is not the best September of my millennia of living (okay, centuries (okay, decades)), but I am bound and determined not to let it be the worst. Hang in there, my friends. In the meantime, I have a bounty of questions for you all to talk upon if you so wish. I'm always curious about what others think about things. 1.) Since I am pretty sure a good number of people were brought here due to a love for games, what are some old games from your childhood you replay now? 2.) If not where we currently are, what type of fictional universe would you like to live in and be a part of? 3.) What skill would you greatly like to master out of anything? Cooking, breeding a terrifying race of superbats (a cookie for whomever gets the reference), diplomacy, breakdancing, playing chess -- anything goes. It is a bit of a slow end of August/beginning of September, but if this RP has proven to be anything, it is persistent. We'll see this through, my friend. As to your questions: 1.) The Kingdom Hearts games, Final Fantasy X and the Halo Series before Halo 5. 2.) Oddly enough, Overworld is rather appealing, but that might be cheating/bias, so I'd say Overwatch, with KH being a close second and Destiny a close third. 3.) I won't be claiming your cookie I'm afraid, but I can still offer an answer: Writing. RPing here and writing the occasional short story in my spare time is good practice, but I really want to get into it proper. 2 Mystics Apprentice and Sora's Baby reacted to this
Stardustblade358 806 Posted September 3, 2017 1) I will always play the Pokemon series regardless of how many remakes and regardless how old I get. I remember it like yesterday when my dad took me to a store to pick up Pokemon Fire Red for the GBA. Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, Kingdom Hearts and Animal Crossing are also games I love to replay both old and new. 2) I'd love to live in the BNHA world or in the Tiger & Bunny world. I don't know what it is but superheroes and super powers is just so appealing and fun sounding. 3) I wish I could play some sort of instrument, specifically the piano or the guitar. One thing I'd love to master is being able to do decent lineart at a fast pace TuT
Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted September 3, 2017 I must also iterate to Mystics, that yes, Soren did switch flanks in order to attack Helios, who entered Shiva's current flank, to battle Mystras forces as a Manticore before Soren intervened. 1 Mystics Apprentice reacted to this
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted September 3, 2017 Ooh, some fun questions! 1.) Since I am pretty sure a good number of people were brought here due to a love for games, what are some old games from your childhood you replay now? I feel like these answers are going to date us. For myself, though, I love replaying the Super Mario series, specifically the classics for the NES or Super Mario 64. It brings back a lot of fond memories from my childhood, and there is something so cheerful about Mario that I adore. There are other games as well, of course, chiefly Ocarina of Time and pretty much any Nintendo classic for the SNES (I'd say FFVI and Chrono Trigger, but I didn't actually play these until my teenage years, so they don't really count as fond childhood replays). 2.) If not where we currently are, what type of fictional universe would you like to live in and be a part of? That's a tough one, as I'm pretty happy where I am now. A lot of universes that I adore are also those that I wouldn't want to live in, but if I were to choose any fictional world it would have to be the one of Harry Potter. The wizarding world is so fascinating and would be so much fun. Another that I think may be fascinating would be the Golden Sun world, for wielding psynergy would be pretty darn awesome. 3.) What skill would you greatly like to master out of anything? Cooking, breeding a terrifying race of superbats (a cookie for whomever gets the reference), diplomacy, breakdancing, playing chess -- anything goes. Drawing. I would love to become a better artist and be able to create extraordinary digital art. Right now my skills are subpar, and they're really worsening as I get older and have less time to dedicate to the art. Jeez. First Texas had Hurricane Harvey, now we Floridians might get Hurricane Irma. Absolutely no chill this hurricane season huh? Anyways, I'll try to post the next two days. WiFi is acting up again. I fear for Florida as well. Hopefully it bypasses you guys! It's crazy how many hurricanes are hitting North America this season. 1 Nero Kunivas reacted to this
Vaude 536 Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) 1. Kingdom Hearts. 2.Same answer as above! 3. Does it need to be a skill or could it be a trait like beauty or just a superpower of some sort? Traits and skills could be synchronous, so I think that should be just fine. As for choices, nice all around. Kingdom Hearts is a great series and would be fun to live in, provided Sephiroth doesn't bump into you. 1. Legend of Zelda (NES), Super Mario Bros. (Nes) Final Fantasy (IV, VI, VII, etc.) Golden Sun (gba) 2. I have three choices: Legend of Zelda, Rune Factory or Golden Sun 3. This one is tough, but I supose it would be "socializing". I'm awful at that. Very nice choices, all. I considered those three games for the second question as well and resulted in choosing Rune Factory too, funnily enough. Adventure if you want it, peace and interaction when you want it, and so many potential bachelors and bachelorettes -- Rune Factory is such a great gaming series, much like its sister game Harvest Moon. 1. Kingdom Hearts, Monster Hunter, and Ledgend of Zelda BOTW. 2. Not sure. I would say Monster Hunter, but in real life I'm a bit of a cautious man, so I'd say Kingdom Hearts. 3. Dressage Dressage! A fine choice, if I may say so. As a son of a horse farmer and horse showwoman, I applaud this manner of thinking. Do you have a horse or horses? Also, Monster Hunter is awesome as well, though one must always be wary of konchus (*mutters*, those flopping monstrosities . . .). RPing here and writing the occasional short story in my spare time is good practice, but I really want to get into it proper. Those are strong contenders for choices; it seems like you like the action, sci-fi, and fantasy elements to your universes! Also, how very neat! A fellow writer! I should have known about this long ago, but I never really caught it besides through your vocabulary and roleplaying. 1) I will always play the Pokemon series regardless of how many remakes and regardless how old I get. I haven't played that game of Harvest Moon, but I hear nothing but great things about it and want to check it out. As for worlds and skills, good choices there. Artistry is a talent of which I wish I had more, however my greatest strengths lie in literature, so I stick to that. Ooh, some fun questions! I feel like these answers are going to date us. Ain't that the truth. =P If the world only knew how old I was, it would be embarrassed by its youth, but those are good choices for games and universes. Wizardry would be great fun, as well as bending the rules of space and fitting anything into a purse or a briefcase. And flying cars and brooms? Such greatness! Lastly, artistry again! A fine choice as well for similar reasons as before, though I'm sure with practice your skills will result in grandeur again. I loved your character artwork. Stardust's too; I forgot to mention that earlier. Edited September 3, 2017 by Vaude 2 Mystics Apprentice and Nero Kunivas reacted to this

He was a great all around horse, he could do elementary level dressage, and he could jump four foot fences at max. Melstrome is heavily based off of Celtic and the only difference between the two is that Melstrome is 18 hands tall, with a black and white overo color, while Celtic was 16 hands and gray (and Mel has a bit more sentient intelligence). I am incredibly pumped for Monster Hunter World next year! Hopefully those g'dang konchus won't return. Photo of Celtic. Vaude 536 Posted September 3, 2017 Ooh, that is a gorgeous coat on Celtic! My mom was very fond of Lippitt Morgan horses, a lovely and proud breed that has good stature and performance, and I went into a few shows too when I was young. Good job getting the blue ribbon, if that is you in the picture! As for the plague of the Monster Hunter universe, I certainly hope they don't come back. So much pain and agony and turmoil have been caused by the carapaced, flopping lobsters already, and we don't need more. 1 Endless Thundaga reacted to this

Kingdom Hearts is a great series and would be fun to live in, provided Sephiroth doesn't bump into you. Then for three, I'd say learning things at a faster pace. I'd love to learn a skill after watching it one time. It's kind of a cheat answer, so for a more realistic choice, I'd go with having a better short term memory. It always is so hard to remember names and dates for me! Vaude 536 Posted September 6, 2017 I wanted to let everyone know (a little late, I know) that I will be unable to post until tonight. Work and the holiday weekend has been a little action-packed, so I haven't had much time to do a post. As for Hurricane Irma, good grief, it really is a Category 5 . . . this will be a terrifying storm, and I'm hoping that the hurricane will just turn around and return to the depths of Hades from whence it came. Barring that possibility, I am entirely understanding about your potential leave and wish you, your family, and the rest of the hit population the best. 3 Mystics Apprentice, Endless Thundaga and Nero Kunivas reacted to this
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted September 6, 2017 Is everyone having difficulty keeping up with the three day posting restriction? Should we bump it to four days? I feel like there's many of us who are barely making the three day mark (myself included) and would consider bumping the posting to four days instead of three if there's a pretty good consensus. Would it be easier if we all try to shorten our posts? On a side note, I'll be posting later today. I have to do some stuff around the house first. Thanks. He was a great partner. I've not had much trouble with it, since im unemployed now so I got some free time to post. I don't believe anyone is waiting for me at the moment. The only way we get strong ones is when they spawn from hurricanes. And in regards to heat, it's almost always 80 or 90 degrees, and the humidity makes it feel like 110. Just step outside for at least ten minutes and you'll be sweating like crazy.

There had been like one or two waterspouts and they've only been seen in coastal cities and usually off the coast. Maybe one Earthquake or two but never something really big. Ever since moving to Texas though, tornadoes have given me a crippling fear of rain. Because they're so sudden and there's no warning of where it will show up and when I can't sleep on rainy nights anymore. It's 100 degrees out here lately~ Though, there's no humidity like in Puerto Rico, so there's that. Edited September 7, 2017 by Stardustblade358
