Is valdra gonna make an appearance? In vessel at least, in the RP? She sounds like a great being and i'd love to interact with her.

 

Valdra has appeared both times some of the judges got together. She prefers to stay in the background to let the children play their silly games, but if they get out of control and need a firm hand then she intervenes. The others like to remind her that she is the youngest of them all, but even then they obey her orders without hesitation, usually when she order them to return to their own jobs.

 

But if you have something you want to do with Valdra then I suppose we could work something out.

Higher beings can use vessels in my part of the world. Valdra is such a being, same with Leviathan, who could be a very distant relative of Valdra, she also uses a vessel in the form of a Water Nymph named Uinen, and since Leviathan's real body is under the water of Lake Aelinistil that makes the hair of her vessel looks like it's floating underwater.

Her father was Bahamut so, maybe, both of them are descendants of Valdra. I haven't decided yet.

It be a really BIG deal if Curvis was going to assassinate the Queen of a whole kingdom tho haha That kind of mistake normally leads to BIG punishment, Midnea type punishment haha But since this is Shiva were talking, I'd say just being sentenced to being kept a prisoner in the Isopolis prison for all eternity sounds about right, ay Shiva? haha Luckily Curvis ain't such a coldblooded, heartless, monster within sheep's skin kinda guy as to use the innocent, lovely, tree hugging Aqua haha Right?... right?... Well, she COULD travel to the neighboring continent through the use of the rune, she had been there in the past. Maybe Valdra could pay Mystras a quick visit, but do you want Henry meeting her while he is with Everyth?

Well she can do that after Everyth leaves or he does, seeing through the whole situation with Henry's spirit, she's a great dragon so she could easily detect he has a spirit inside him.

Actually, I've been playing with the idea.

I think Aura will find a few surprises in her future, and while she can't obtain life eternal like normal fey do she could get an extended life, how many years I still don't know, we shall see.

I had Aura's fate already planned, mostly, but that would only be revealed at the end, at least that's what I hope, and her obtaining werewolf traits would fit perfectly into the future I had planned.

 

I was a little frustrated (and sad) that my phone was stolen last monday that I had to vent somehow, so I made a small doodle (and flat colours today) for Rabs' friend, Valdra. Her fey vessel, at least.

 

The Fire Nymph was called Mielinare before being chosen by Valdra as a vessel once her physical body was sleeping, thanks to the bonding of Valdra's soul with Mielinare's body she gained horns and her senses increased tenfold. She is well over ten thousand years old, although her appearence is that of a thousand, or less, years old fey, basically making her the youngest of the Judges of the North, to them at least. Only the Lady Ethiriel and the Lady Eliltari of House of Ear know of the true identity of Valdra, while the rest know her as Mielinare.

 

It took me HOURS just to make the doodle and while I do not have lots of time to practice drawing nowadays I still like this one.

I still think I messed up in some places, like the ear.

 

Cool as! I'll enjoy watching how things unfold for her then. Also, damn man, that sucks your phone was stolen. But hey! You've created a very nice drawing! & yeah, I can see that the ear should've been drawn just under the horn, but that's an easy fix that I'm sure you could make haha & also lowering the nose a bit too. But all in all! Very nice work man. Oh! You should give Aura the werewolf trait - 'Having a big appetite to eat loads of meat' trait! I always find that trait funny.

How are things going for everyone?  Is anyone waiting on me for anything?  (I think I owe you a PM, Unversed; I'll get that tonight or tomorrow).  Is there anything that anyone wants to see?  I'm working on a collab post with Vaude for the Raiden and Shiva conversation, so expect that to conclude sometime this weekend.  The fourth and final arc of the RP is upon us very soon, and I can see things moving very quickly from there.  Lots of twists and turns.  Some will probably be expected by at least some of you, but I hope that others will be very surprising.

 

My goal is to see this RP conclude by Spring 2018, but we will see how things go.  I know that the holidays are also approaching which will likely slow us down, but I think a good 4-5 months may be all we need to get things finished up.  I'm very excited to see how everything plays out!  Thank you all for the ride this far.

 

If anyone has thoughts, ideas, or suggestions please feel free to shout them out.  I'd happily hear them. : )

Awesome drawing!  I think your hard work really paid off.  Do you scan your sketch and then darken the lines before coloring, or what method do you use, if you don't mind my asking?  What I do is draw, scan, darken the lines, and then remove it from the background to color in GIMP, but mine look extraordinarily sloppy in comparison.

A temporary appearance may work for Ariana.  My real aim for Ariana was that she had died, though a connection still existed between herself and Henry.  I didn't really foresee her spirit playing such a role in the plot or for her to take on her own character, but I suppose a temporary appearance for Ariana would be okay.  I kind of was envisioning her character to be one mostly in memory, and not actively participating in a role, if that makes sense.

I've been meaning to post for a while, I'll get around to it soon as I'm very excited to see where we go from here.

 

The only thing I'm a little disappointed with is that Meksis didn't get to quickly speak to Shiva about Soren. Sad face.

Well, I scan the sketch, then in photoshop a make it a little brighter, or darker, if needed. I then make a separate layer above the sketch layer to make the lineart with the pen tool (either path or shapes), later I use the same pen tool to color under the lineart. I use a mouse so I activate the simulated pressure while doing lines.

Mielinare was a redhead before offering her body as a vessel for Valdra, she was a Fire Nymph after all, and just like Leviathan and Uinen, thanks to Valdra using Mielinare as a vessel she makes her hair look like it is a faint flame, which is not, one could touch her hair without any fear of getting burned.

 

I'm very interested in the final outcome of those two.

Current plan is to have Mariel come out of her trance around the time Radian and Shiva met up. Can speed up or slow down the plan as needed.
