Well, dang.

 

Things with Soren and Shiva have become . . . interesting, to say the very least, and I'm especially surprised that Soren has flung his fate into her hands.  It's especially tough because Shiva has her own inner conflict on this war, and wants to believe the very same as Soren.  There's also Mariel, who will probably be beside herself that her ally has switched sides.

 

Things are going to become very intense on this side of things, that's for sure.  I wonder where this will leave Ren and Soren?

Facing Shiva at all brought a crushing reality upon Soren; That he simply could not betray or kill her, even for a species he has such faith in.

 

Ren was the one thing that pushed Soren to Mystras's side in the end. Without him, he probably would've gone back to Kilkis, or just drifted as a wanderer. He treated him well as a prisoner and recently, he gave him something to do, I dare say live for. But, in the face of everything, Soren's loyalty to Shiva trumps all, despite their disagreements, he was always a very loyal Sentinel. He now knows for certain where he stands and even if it won't further his dream of the Overworld and World Below United, it's better than the alternative.

 

I do feel a little bad for Mariel. Sudden Back-up is now a Heel-Face Turner, who knew?

Mariel won't be too torn up about Soren's change in her current state. She will, at best, consider him a fool who lost his nerve in battle, something she doesn't have much patience for. At worst, he confirms what she expects from all demonic races, which is treachery and betrayal. And this was after Soren's actions was having her prepare a grudging thanks and a promise to give more of his kind a more fair chance in future.

Ah, I see.  It's no problem at all.  I did go ahead and post for my other characters, but I don't have plans for Curvis, really, except for him potentially switching sides or going along his own path.  Take your time in responding.

Eh, she's mostly got it on lock. She's survived a long time on her own, so there will be some issues to work through, but her training and devotion will keep her on the straight and narrow.

Basically "Madness" Energy, has a multitude of forms, its a completely unatural and random type of energy that Maxis has almost full control of, for the moment anyway. On its liquid form, upon touching skin it causes the skin to tear itself AND repair itself as long as it remains on contact, the energy also the mind of the victim, tearing it apart, with high risk of permanent damage if nothing is done about it.

 

This is an extension of Maxis's inner Madness (Also mine) combined with his hidden power. It first saps you of your stamina, and then the physical torture begins. 

 

 

Don't worry. Henry ain't dead...can't disappoint Unversed and Midnea (Also Nergal).

The earthquake was not close to where I live, but still, it has been awful to the people over there.

 

The irony of the situation is that a 8.1 earthquake happened on the same day 32 years ago, the one from yesterday was of 7.1. Yesterday was the anniversary of that day.

Oddly enough I've had a lot of bots like my posts in the RP and signups as well.  I cannot begin to fathom why, but something about the RP section seems to attract them.

 

And I'm going to get a post soon.  I just need to put something for dinner together first.  Sorry that I've been so slow; so many things have been keeping me very busy this week (work, birthday, more work, and getting thing situated with a potential house we're wanting to buy).  Next week won't be much better, but after that I should be much more in the clear!  Hurrah!

Yeah, I guess that's true.  I've seen bots create all sorts of crazy things (some of which I dare not repeat), so a thread entirely in Russian doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

 

Also, good memory; I have been moving a lot over the past two years.  Right now we're renting a house, however, and we're looking to actually purchase a home in the same area.  So this time it's not really so much of a change of location as much as permanency (which is fantastic, as moving to a new location every year gets really tiring).
