Okay, finally posted.  Sorry for keeping you wonderful people waiting!

 

Also, I think we are going to initiate a timeskip soon, since there's quite a few players that can't do anything since they've retired from the feast at Raiden's villa.  How does Saturday at noon EST sound to do this?  Hopefully we can get things wrapped up in the meantime, and anything we don't manage to resolve can be placed in flashback scenes.

 

This won't affect all groups; for instance, Alastor and Rabiyu can still pursue the Knight in Red, and we can continue the mountain range scene with Typhon, Jari, et cetera; it'll just be the next day.  It is mostly going to affect Raiden's villa and the feast, and probably Kilkis Seres, too.

 

The fight with Pracia and the others can progress into the following day naturally, with the fight still progressing as though nothing's happened.

 

Does this sound okay with everyone? : )

Sorry; I didn't manage to figure out a way to incorporate Aqua into my latest Elia post.  Perhaps Aqua can come over and speak with Jari, or perhaps she'd have words to share with Elia or Morana?  Let me know if you need further help and I'll try to figure out something for you to post.

Quick question concerning your latest post for Dawson: how many guards perished, and what do you have in mind for this monster attack?  I'm not too sure about the entire guardsmen for the gate being wiped out, and I don't feel this would be a good time for monsters to attack Mystras, unless it were within a small quadrant that didn't really involve many people.

 

Let me know what you have in mind, though; we can probably work something out.

You'll find out at the end of the RP~!  Nah, you were right on with that guess.  Raiden's the father figure, though he's not much of a father.  It took him two thousand years to find out about him, and it will take two thousand more years before Raiden and Jynn will throw a pigskin (American football) between them.

 

As for Odin, he's like a past personality or name that was discarded in favour of a fresh start.  The book is a reference for the two to follow each other's past actions, requiring a lot of memorisation and a lot of ciphering to prevent others' eyes to see what really is going on.  (Also, no offense to the old girl, but MIdnea would not be able to pick up on that.)  Moving on to The Infiltrator, well, that's actually is something you'll find out at the end of the RP~!

 

The sounds of imminent danger:  scraping cords on marble floors and wooden beams, followed by the sound of a drawn pull cord.  Shuffle.  Grind.  Plug.  Click.  Death.  What established guardian of ancient secrets would not tremble in fear and awe over the power of a reading lamp?  =P

 

haha I can so see a star wars moment happening with Raiden & Jynn. Jynn confronts Radien "I... am your father.", Raiden cuts his hand off, Jynn sreams "NOOOOO!!!", then Jynn kills Raiden out of anger, Jynn seeks out Midnea for guidance on Ruling after his mothers death & gets corrupted thus becomes the new Anakin Ruler of Mystras with an evil smile haha Or Jynn chooses not to kill Raiden & save his mother thus becomes the Luke Ruler of Kilkis Seres with a smile

 

Ah! I see now, thanks for clearing that up for me man, Also Midnea wouldn't really be that interest in the other rulers affairs at this point anyways. So even if the volume was encrypted Midnea would have only seen it as Raiden trash, so it's no wonder she burnt it haha . This sounds great to me, and I'll make an attempt to set the stage for the humans and others inside Mystras (with exception of the Red Knight Manhunt) either this weekend or next week, depending on when the timeskip happens.  I look forward to the RP's upcoming new part!

Former Princess of the Succubus Capital of Mare Luxeria, the sister city to Mare Luxerion, Capital of the Valkyries, Xion has been deposed as ruler by her more cutthroat people after her affair with the Queen of the Valkyries, the light-filled Zion. Seen as more than a lowly Succubus, Xion grew to actually love. Her love bore Eclaire. People called it a mistake.

But Xion only apologized for making a mistake, nothing more.

 

But that was not what disposed her...not entirely.

 

The King of the Archangels, Mycha’el, unleashed a disease know as Etherius. It turned whoever it infected into a consumer of their own kind. Magical Device “Tsukuyomi Unit Khepri”

Created from the tattoos on her back, Tsukuyomi Unit Khepri creates a shield that can grow larger if powered enough. Her ultimate defense. Once per day.

Drawbacks: Cannot move or use any other powers while it's activated. Mondirectional. Without enough power backing it, cannot grow and maintain integrity.

Aka: If used without proper energy reserves, bigger = weaker.

 

Magical Device “Lux Aurora”

The jewel in the guard of Takao’s sword, Reborn, glows. Ironically utilizing the sword, Reborn hovers before Takao and executes a wide range healing pulse. Simplest ability, depends on how many she is healing. More healing, more energy, less uses of anything.

Drawbacks: Can't revive the dead. One hundred foot radius.

 

If she loses any of the items (choker, locket, sword, bracelet) she cannot use her Magical Devices. Only Majestic Zhulong is kept due to it being tied to the runic tattoos on her back.

Personality: Bubbly, energetic, a bit shy at times but true and loyal, Takao (aka Taka) is unwavering in loyalty and the sweetest Succubus ever. She is quite honestly so adorable not even Angels can lift a blade, nor can Ithurians find darkness.

Biography:

When the Izanami family was deposed and exiled from Mare Luxeria, the spirit of a Valkyrie long passed led them to the Parthenon of Mare Aurora - the Sea of Dawn. Drawn into its protection, the Izanami sisters were given shelter by the spirits that inhabited the Parthenon, and they resided there for decades. In that time, young Takao was found to posses a trait rare among Succubi: a heart of pure light, one filled with nothing but love and compassion. Unlike many succubi, who had to hone their abilities to not cause wanton murder, Takao has never had the problem. It was this heart that made Takao the High Priestess of Light, Etain.

 

It was a fancy title. Really...No one visited. She would pray and pray, but the answer was all the same.

 

Soon.

 

And soon enough...it did come true. Soon did come, and to them came. A single gilded feather fell, and with it came a vision. Fire. Sorrow. Death. Nothing could stop it.

Of course Taka 5ook a wrong turn at Mermaid Island and accidentally ended up with a mermaid harem for a bit, but they're almost to the Beach!

Biography:

Former Princess of the Succubus Capital of Mare Luxeria, the sister city to Mare Luxerion, Capital of the Valkyries, Xion has been deposed as ruler by her more cutthroat people after her affair with the Queen of the Valkyries, the light-filled Zion. Seen as more than a lowly Succubus, Xion grew to actually love. Her love bore Eclaire. People called it a mistake.

But Xion only apologized for making a mistake, nothing more.

 

But that was not what disposed her...not entirely.

 

The King of the Archangels, Mycha’el, unleashed a disease know as Etherius. It turned whoever it infected into a consumer of their own kind. Infected, Xion was deposed and thrown out as a Devourer - one who devoured her own kind. Ever since that day she has gone alone. Ever since Zion disappeared from Mare Luxerion, amidst a turmoil of betrayal and subterfuge...she is alone. Her, her sister, and her hate.

 

But not a day goes by that she regrets her choices. Not a day.

Magical Device “Silhouette of Atum”

Silhouette is kept in a choker. It summons a massive magitek mecha. Controlling it, Magical Device Silhouette is unable to function for more than seven minutes. Can only be used twice per day.

Drawback: Slow and tanky. Fast glass cannons can take it down without trouble. Stands 13 feet tall, sword is 7 feet long. Used for fighting monsters, usually.

 

Magical Device “Majestic Zhulong”

Majestic is kept within Takao locket. Upon activation, the locket opens and detaches from the chain. Floating, Takao can fire one Majestic Beam a day, or risk draining all her magic.

Drawbacks: only about a five foot circumference. Cannot level anything bigger than a barn. If that.

 

Magical Device “Tsundere Epona”

Created from a braclet. Literally just a boat with magic cannons. Only useable on water. Cannons take Takao’s life energy, meaning she has to store up beforehand. 99% just here to explain how they get across the sea fast.

Also a horse. Because walking and flying is tiresome. No cannons on the horse, that's just silly.

Boat mode: one time activation. Reasonably fragile if not reinforced. Once a day, weapons can drain her and force the boat to disappear. Weapons act like volleys, not beams. Easy to dodge if you're smaller than a galleon.

Horse mode: any time. It's just a horse.

 

Magical Device “Tsukuyomi Unit Khepri”

Created from the tattoos on her back, Tsukuyomi Unit Khepri creates a shield that can grow larger if powered enough. Her ultimate defense. Once per day.

Drawbacks: Cannot move or use any other powers while it's activated. Mondirectional. Without enough power backing it, cannot grow and maintain integrity.

Aka: If used without proper energy reserves, bigger = weaker.

 

Magical Device “Lux Aurora”

The jewel in the guard of Takao’s sword, Reborn, glows. Ironically utilizing the sword, Reborn hovers before Takao and executes a wide range healing pulse. Simplest ability, depends on how many she is healing. More healing, more energy, less uses of anything.

Drawbacks: Can't revive the dead. One hundred foot radius.

 

If she loses any of the items (choker, locket, sword, bracelet) she cannot use her Magical Devices. Only Majestic Zhulong is kept due to it being tied to the runic tattoos on her back.

No magical devices can be used directly in random or she will become drained too fast and be helpless. This can also cause death.

 

Personality: Bubbly, energetic, a bit shy at times but true and loyal, Takao (aka Taka) is unwavering in loyalty and the sweetest Succubus ever. She is quite honestly so adorable not even Angels can lift a blade, nor can Ithurians find darkness.

Biography:

When the Izanami family was deposed and exiled from Mare Luxeria, the spirit of a Valkyrie long passed led them to the Parthenon of Mare Aurora - the Sea of Dawn. Drawn into its protection, the Izanami sisters were given shelter by the spirits that inhabited the Parthenon, and they resided there for decades. In that time, young Takao was found to posses a trait rare among Succubi: a heart of pure light, one filled with nothing but love and compassion. Unlike many succubi, who had to hone their abilities to not cause wanton murder, Takao has never had the problem. It was this heart that made Takao the High Priestess of Light, Etain.

 

It was a fancy title. Really...No one visited. She would pray and pray, but the answer was all the same.

 

Soon.

 

And soon enough...it did come true. Soon did come, and to them came. A single gilded feather fell, and with it came a vision. Fire. Sorrow. Death. Nothing could stop it.

But even after the darkest of nights, morning would come.

 

And so Takao, known as Etain, the Priestess of Light, set off with her sister to Kilkis Seres to warn them of the impending sorrow...so at least the last words would be ones of love, and not mistaken anger.

 

Of course Taka 5ook a wrong turn at Mermaid Island and accidentally ended up with a mermaid harem for a bit, but they're almost to the Beach!
