Apologies are in order for my sluggishness; it is shameful, but I have had little energy to expend for this RP as of late, though it shall be fixed now.  I'm thinking that Raiden has enough information to fill out a character sheet, even if there is a lot of hidden details for now, and I can probably do the same for Jari and Raiden's shadow pet.  If all goes according to plan, this'll happen tonight or tomorrow.

 

Now, I cannot remember where I saw this beforehand, but to answer your question, Mystics, Raleigh is most probably not the captain, though I can fix that if you'd like a captain who is not an NPC.

 

Since Kunivas has not posted for a while, I'm ret-conning the Infiltrator's scenario so that he had not met the shadowy character just yet.  This can be patched up when he posts, of course, but I want to get things to where they should be and open the Aegis.

It's not said but I would think the prison block would be above the ground, that's how I'm viewing it anyways. I believe Helios's cell would be within the middle area of the block too, so I can say I can see Henry just ramming himself through a bunch of stone walls making his way out. but then again that just allows Effie & the Everyth to follow him from behind haha

As for the infiltrator scenario: we may have to continue moving that forward, as you had mentioned, since the infiltrator will have to move on in order for King Alderon to arrive in the Overworld.  Perhaps you can go ahead and move forward, ret-conning as you had mentioned, and then when Kunivas posts again we can make changes as needed.

It happens; I completely understand. : )  Unfortunately to keep the plot moving forward we will have to press through the events with the infiltrator, as King Alderon cannot arrive to the Overworld without him and things will pretty much be at a standstill.  I still want you to be able to post, but simultaneously I am worried about not keeping things going.  Perhaps Vaude should still proceed with his post, but then whenever you're ready to post we can make adjustments and changes when needed?  That way you are not rushed to post and we can keep things in a forward momentum for everyone else, if that would work for you.

Sorry, I completely forgot your dungeon question until The Unversed mentioned it again.  I have no concrete idea on the design of the prisons, so I do not mind if they are partially underground.  I think most would be above ground, but it would make partial sense if Helios was being kept underground, where it would be more difficult for him to break out of windows, et cetera.

I have no excuse for it, it is simply not acceptable on my part at all and as a result I have caused problems with the story, resulting in retcons needing to be made. I'm developing a reputation as an infrequent poster and I hate that, yet I still do it. You would not be out of the realm of reasoning to throw me out of the RP right here and now and I would deserve it.

 

I made the promise to post frequently and I have broken it. No amount of apology or posting from me can make up for that.

Biography:  Little is known even to Raiden about Nihil except that he is a necessary evil, one which must be tethered or otherwise free to roam as he pleases.  Many years ago he was forced into a standing lamp by a hippie (just like Rufus), and he craves for freedom more than anything else, something he must not have.

Hey, I don't blame you at all nor do I think badly on you for infrequent posts, and I think MA would think the same, so please don't worry too much over this.  Furthermore, I don't think I mentioned that the infiltration and unlocking of the Aegis was a critical part of what is to come, so the fault doesn't lie on you purely but rather is shared by myself.

 

I would happily go over the Isopolis meeting with you via PM, if you'd like.  I'm curious as to how you intend to have the two interact.

I feel like you should think badly of me. I am capable of producing posts that meet the standards of this RP, promised to be frequent, but have broken such an oath for no discernible reason of any fairness or integrity, creating an expectation of laziness or inability to deliver around me. People who hold back RPs like that have no place participating in them if they can't get their act together, which evidently, despite stating that I will, I can't. I'm probably just venting my frustration about myself at you though.

Now, now, I would not be so heartless as to kick you out of the RP for a pause in posting. : P  As you know, I am not one to give people the boot so readily, nor would I ever do that to you.  We all have personal lives and things that come up, so I understand your inability to post right now

 

The main reason I was agreeing with Vaude about the possible retcon was because I didn't want to rush you to post.  Of course, you are welcome to do so before we move on to the next stage, though I am planning to move things along by tomorrow night (EST), so it is up to you as to whether you feel up to the challenge of bouncing back in or not.

 

If you would like to take some time before immersing yourself in the RP again I would be entirely understanding, and we would all help you get back in the waters when you are ready.  I am sure that you have a lot going on your end and other things to tend to, and please know that I do not think horrible things nor am I offended by you, okay? : )  While I understand what you are saying and I appreciate your concern about not being one to hold back an RP, I don't want you to take this too greatly to heart.  Stuff happens, and I too have done the same thing in the past.  Many of us probably have at some point or another.

Hey, I don't blame you at all nor do I think badly on you for infrequent posts, and I think MA would think the same, so please don't worry too much over this.  Furthermore, I don't think I mentioned that the infiltration and unlocking of the Aegis was a critical part of what is to come, so the fault doesn't lie on you purely but rather is shared by myself.

The main reason I was agreeing with Vaude about the possible retcon was because I didn't want to rush you to post.  Of course, you are welcome to do so before we move on to the next stage, though I am planning to move things along by tomorrow night (EST), so it is up to you as to whether you feel up to the challenge of bouncing back in or not.

So, I think everyone will be relieved that I have finally taken an updated character list, provided to me countless times by Endless Thundaga and The Unversed, and updated the front of the RP.  I apologize that I've been so negligent to update that until now.  Thank you both for providing this to me countless times!  I don't know where I'd be without you. ; )

 

On another note, we have a few inactive players that I've reached out to today via PM.  Another big event is going to take place, hopefully either the middle or end of this week, and I want to give everyone a fair chance to catch up before this occurs.  If I don't hear back we may move forward anyway, as I don't want to keep everyone else waiting who is eager to progress to the next stage.  I feel this particular stage has dragged on long enough as it has, to which I apologize for.

 

Are there any characters that you're uncertain on what they should do, or currently need a role to play?  Originally I tried to find something for each character of the original cast, but I know with all of the additions I have failed to include everyone.  If you have a character that doesn't really have a direction or are unsure of how to proceed with please let me know and I'll try my best to integrate them into the story (totally not Calculus-style) or find something that they could be doing.

 

Sorry that I haven't been on top of things as much as I would have liked.  A few unexpected events have taken place on my end, both good and bad, and thus I've been much busier than usual.  I do want to stay more on the ball with things, however, because I really do want to continue this and see where things lead.
