The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted June 27, 2016 Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, as you all know, remasters have been a popular trend going on in gaming for quite a few years now! With that being said, I wanted to offer my thoughts on the subject, and so I, The Friendly Neighborhood Webhead, give my pros and cons on Remasters! I hope you enjoy! So, what's your stance on remasters? I'd like to know! 1 -Justin- reacted to this
RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted June 27, 2016 When it comes to remasters of a game, I don't think I've played any. Just originals.... Remasters are fine to me. I never have any bad to say about it. It kinda serves as a nostalgic thing. Sad to say, I've only played remakes. But it's what you said. The game companies are bringing back games, we've played either in our youth, for newbies to try. Pretty much I consider myself as a newbie when it comes to certain game titles (Example: FFVII). But if the newbies don't think if the game are good, that's on them. It's fine. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
xxClouDxxmoon 901 Posted June 27, 2016 I think it's awesome personally that like, for example, a new generation gets to experience the world off FFVII. But the remasters for games that are only few years old are kind of annoying. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

They're mostly for the nostalgic factor, while said remasters bring in new fans, ya know? And yeah, I can definitely see where you're coming from! I've always heard nothing but praise for VII, and I've seen Advent Children and played Crisis Core, but I've never gotten around to playing VII! I was going to download it one time for my PS3 via the Playstation Store, but with the Remake coming along, I'm gonna wait, ya know? I think it's awesome personally that like, for example, a new generation gets to experience the world off FFVII. But the remasters for games that are only few years old are kind of annoying. Indeed, it is pretty awesome! Also, yeah, I get what you mean! I mean, if the game is like two years old, there's no need to be remastering it yet! I could wait till I got myself a PS4 and try the port version of FF7, but I rather wait till the Remake is finish. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
