Sound and Music settings in KH games

Recommended Posts

Hello guys

I was listening to some KH boss-fight music and realized it is a shame that when playing the music gets covered by game sounds and battle quotes.

That's why I think new KH games should have an option to choose how you want to mix up music and sound

Seriously, Who would not like to battle Mysterious Figure with 90% Dark Impetus(love it) and 10% sound :P

Well they have a scale for Music and Effects for KH X and UX, but I think that's something someone would need to ask them about in an interview for them to think about it.

I do like the music tracks in a lot of the KH games, but during a boss fight or something, I'd actually prefer for the battle quotes and sound effects to be there alongside the music while I'm playing. It might sound silly, but to me it just adds to the experience and gives me a sense that what I'm doing is actually having some sort of effect.

For people who would prefer to have the sound effects off and just have the music I think that would be a neat option though, and I'd assume it wouldn't be terribly difficult to implement.

I understand you, in fact in my example about Mysterious Figure I gave a 10% on sound, I believe too that when playing battle quotes and weapons clashes should be there to create the "atmosphere", just music should have the main part and the sound should be in the background not the opposite Edited by MasterLorX

Well personally I've always found the ratio of music to sound effects to be pretty balanced thus far, but I guess it really comes down to personal taste. I do like the idea of having the option to adjust it to one's own liking though. :)

Honestly, if they added a setting in KH 2.8 or KH3 (I've already thought about this) then I would turn the music off and play my own music on it.

In all honesty, I think that the music and sound effects complement each other well, with one not drowning out the other too much, ya know? But yeah, an option to scale sound effects and music to your liking could be a neat feature to put into future entries in the series, ya know? :)
