Electra didn't hesitate, standing up from her chair. "I will like to check out the Timeless Ruins. I have heard of Team Yami been sighted around the area." Electra said as she gently flipped her hair. "I am going to be a pokemonthropologist, after all. I might as well go to an area that will help me while I stop Team Yami and save the world." Electra said as she nodded her head towards the champion and the rest. "I'll contact you when I get there." Electra said as she began to walk away. "Let's go Selene." Electra asked, Selene following as she waved goodbye to the rest of the group. Electra stepped out of the room and stopped as she turned to look down the hall, where she saw a window. She walked over to it, turning to Selene as she took out her pokeball. "Get inside. I'll get you out when we get there." Elextra asked, getting Selene back into her pokeball. She got it away and took out another one as she opened up the window and sat down on the edge of it. "Eros, come on out." Electra said, throwing the pokeball in the air as Eros the dragonite came out, spreading its wings wide as it began to fly. It flew over to Electra, who looked down at her Holocaster. "Eros, we need to go to the Timeless Ruins. East of here. Ready to go?" Electra ask. Eros gleefully nodded. "Alright. Lets go." Electra said, and just like that, she leaped off from the window into the air. Eros expanded his wings as Electra landed on its back without much trouble. She wrapped her arms around Eros' neck and pointed forward. "Let's go save the world." Electra said, and with that Eros took off.

Ray

"Great to meet ya Electra & Selene I, wait a sec?..." said Ray as he paused for a minute in thought "Did I just hear her Gardevoir speak to me? or did I just imagine that?...ehh?" thought Ray trying to piece the puzzle together. One thing that kinda troubled Ray at the same time was what Electra said before, about team Yami's goal to probably capture a legendary pokemon & make it stronger. Ray couldn't help but feel a bit nervous at that point but he simply shook his thoughts off meanwhile after Jynn introduced himself to those who don't know him Dawn introduced herself too "It's nice to meet a lover of nature & I'll even help ya keep Team Yami from ever even touching nature itself, K Dawn!" said Ray pointing his fist towards her.  After Jynn explained his plan for the team & Alana spoke about protecting her home & others Ray couldn't help but give a nod "YEAH! I totally agree with Alana! I'll do my very best & beyond even that!" yelled Ray "Oh man, I haven't trained with my pokemon in so long... I hope I can do this" thought Ray in the back of his mind.  After Jynn dismissed everyone another newcomer named Aaron shows up & at that time Electra quickly took action leaving the room saying her goodbyes. Ray couldn't help hoping no one gets hurt out there as he feels like he's connected well with this little group.

 

Ray looked at the newcomer walking up to him "Yo man, I can tell you & I have 1 thing in common already & that's being last person to show up to anything hahahaha. But anyway I'm heading over to Pyro Town, if ya wanna come with me I can give ya the heads up with our teams plans man?" asked Ray waiting just outside the room's door for an answer.

 

Kai

"um...sure, I guess. You are the leader after all Quinirus." said Kai a little bit surprised by how childish & little hearted his leader is "What a strange guy, I wonder if he's stronger than he looks" thought Kai. Meanwhile Kai's Vaporeon saw Quinirus's Banette Ceres stick it's tongue out at him "Vapor?! Vap! Vap!" spoke Vaporeon now standing on all fours slightly annoyed at Ceres "Vap! Vap! Vap!" spoke Vaporeon as he looked at his trainer Kai trying to tell him of how inappropriate Ceres was behaving. Kai looked at his Vaporeon "Stop it Vaporeon, can't you see I'm trying to talk to Quinirus" said Kai as he looked back at Quinirus "Sorry for that. But anyway thanks for the permission. Meet me at the front gates to The Badlands with a group of our best grunts okay Quinirus, I'll go grab Noirtier. Lets go Vaporeon" said Kai as he walked out of the room with Vapreon following behind him. But as Vaporeon left the room he looked back at Ceres & Stuck his tongue out at Ceres "Vaporeon" spoke Vaporeon feeling like it got back at Ceres before he quickly ran off to catch up with Kai. 

 

Kai soon found Noirtier "Hey there Noirtier. You're looking well, I've come to grab you for a mission." said Kai.

 

Lexy

As Lexy was warming her hands near the fire she made she suddenly heard someone's voice speak out her name, which Lexy quickly turned around to where the voice was come from seeing a man with a dark look about him "Grr, so that stupid pokemart keeper sends a cop after me ay. Well I know just how to take care of a guy like you, lets go Machoke!" yelled Lexy as she pointed a finger at James "MACHOKE!" spoke Machoke loudly as he started running towards James "Now Machoke! Dynamic Punch this guys face in!" yelled Lexy clenching her fists "MACHOKE! Maaaa!" spoke Machoke as he went for an attack at James.

Suddenly in a flash, James teleported out of the way with the help of Warrior and then reappeared behind the Machoke and Gallade attack the Machoke with Psycho Cut after being boosted by a Swords Dance attack. James turned to face Lexy. "Look, you misunderstand once again. I am not a cop, I don't even care for cops. Plus I wasn't sent here by the market man, I was sent here by one thing, the smell of smoke from your fire. My name is James Rainfall. And let's just say that I have known about you for awhile now, little thief." James said as he looked seriously at Lexy.

 

Dawn looked at everyone, "Well, I have no idea where I am going now everyone, but I think I am going to go around the area and just make sure that everything is fine and there aren't any Team Yami members around. Nice to meet you all. See you later." Dawn said as she walked out of the room.

 

A little bit later, she appeared inside a huge tree in the park, where no one could find her and had her Noibat out ready to use Screech is Utopia suddenly got near. She pulled out her holocaster and tried to call Quinirus to update her mission status. "Come on, pick up already." Dawn said as she tried to call.

((Phew, time to catch up on matters here.  Apologies for my absence; many things, too many things, are in my path to dominate the world through roleplaying, but I am here now and ready to score my future position as ruler of the earth.  But seriously now, here I go!))

 

 

 

Kai

While Quinirus gave his speech announcing their's big plans Kai was doing some daily tough training with his pokemon nearby in their outside battle stadium which has heaps of training equipment for all kinds of training & also for all types of pokemon & even humans too. The stadium is also the largest stadium they have to allow heaps of trainers to work out. "Alright! Lets go one more round of training everyone, but lets really push ourselves beyond our limits this time OKAY!" yelled Kai to all of his pokemon. Kai's Dragonite was training his strength by wrestling a big strong Nidoking while wearing special pokeweights that can be worn on the bodies of pokemon. Both of them were really getting intense until Kai's Dragonite lifted the Nidoking up & slammed him into the ground hard shattering some of the ground "DRAGONITE!!!" roared Dragonite in victory. Kai's Delphox was training her focus by using psychic to lift & move heaps of heavy objects like big rocks, punching bags & other heavy stuff was around the stadium. Delphox was also doing this with her eyes closed trying to focus even more "Delphox... Del, phox..." spoke Delphox trying to focus more. Kai's Serperior was training his evasion skills by dodging heavy balls of all sizes being shot out from random holes from a nearby wall that rotates. Kai himself was training his Liepard in a speed training program "Okay now girl, lets see just how fast you can go." said Kai as he was all geared up in his gym clothes being a singlet & shorts kneeling down ready to race his Liepard "Okay, on ya marks, get set, &...GO!" yelled Kai as he raced forward. Kai had a good start & thought he was winning but that's what his Liepard wanted him to think as she then quickly took the lead with ease crossing the finish line in no time at all "Lie..." spoke Liepard with a confident smile on her face.      

 

Thats when a grunt shows up "Sir Kai! what are you doing training? your missing our leaders speech. I must recommend you hurry over there sir" said the grunt. Kai gave him an annoyed look before wiping his forehead of sweat with his hand towel "Fine fine, did I miss anything important so far?" asked Kai "So far he's only said our main objective is conquering Ernesto City & that we should try conquering a path towards that city to make it easier for us to launch a strike to capture it. He also said another target of ours to conquer is Pyro Town for it's resources and minerals." explained the grunt "Wait, you said Pyro town?...okay then, I'll go speak to Quinirus right now & ask him if I can capture that town with a group of you guys backing me up. I've been there before so I have the best chance at knowing how to capture it with ease K?" said Kai as he headed for the changing rooms "Yes sir!" said the grunt as he headed off back to the gathering. Kai's Vaporeon stood in his path towards the changing rooms giving him this look of concern "Vap, Vapore..." spoke Vaporeon "Don't give me that look, I know what I'm doing okay. Now I gotta get cleaned up & we'll be taking your training on the road so be ready for it" said Kai as he walked passed his Vaporeon & into the changing rooms "Vapore..." spoke Vaporeon feeling a bit sad.

 

It didn't take long for kai to be ready to met with Quinirus as Kai was already standing in the room where Quinirus was in standing patiently within the room waiting for him to finish his speech on the balcony & come back inside the room were he can speak with him.

 

Quinirus looked around at the crowd. The place was packed. The grunts were in color matching uniforms, or at least wearing clothes that matched the colors. It was something. "Very well. Report to your team leaders for further instructions. Other than that, good luck everyone. You are dismissed!" Quinirus said as he waved at the group and the screen turned off above him. Quinirus turned to Ceres, who gave him thumbs up. "Thank you Ceres." Quinirus said as he turned away, walking over to the room behind the balcony, where Kai was already there waiting for him. "Kai." Quinirus said, smiling softly. Quinirus somehow managed to remember at the vert least 90% of their members. It helped with morale to address to one of the members by their names. But of course there would always be members that he would remember more than others. Kai was one of those. Ceres walked up from behind Quinirus, looking up at Kai as he stood by Quinirus' leg. By this point the mischievous Benette was most likely trying to plan a way he could end up pulling a prank on Kai. "I'm guessing you have more than just a question." Quinirus asked. He had allot in his mind. He also needed to send some members to take a hold and keep watch over Maelstrom Cave, and that would be difficult to do as it was, considering it was on an island all on its own. One thing at a time, Quinirus, one thing at a time.

Kai

"Hey there leader Quinirus. Glad ya still remember my name man, but yeah. I heard that you one of our targets to conquer is Pyro town & i was wondering if you'd let me take a group of grunts to capture that town? I've been there before so I know most of the areas within that town so it shouldn't be to difficult to capture it for me. Also if you don't have any missions for Noirtier at the moment I'd also like to have him join me if thats alright with you that is man?" said Kai waiting for his answers. Meanwhile Kai's Vaporeon was also with Kai while he was talking to Quinirus. Vaporeon was sitting beside kai's left leg slightly tilting his head staring at Ceres questioning what shes thinking "Vapor?..." spoke Vaporeon still wondering.

 

Quinirus listened to Kai, and smiled. "You are so excited for this. You are granted permission. I am sure Noirtier would be more than happu to join you with this." Quinirus said as Ceres looked over at Kai's Vaporeon, sticking out its tongue at it before laughing to itself. "Actually, how about I go along with you too? I want to see you on the field if you don't mind. I'll even disguise myself so the others don't recognize me!" Quinirus said rather cheerfully as he covered his eyes with his hands. "I could be like an undercover agent." He said, opening his hands so he could see through his fingers. "What do you say? We'll switch seats for the mission. You'll give orders and we follow your strategy. Oh it sounds very fun!" Quinirus said, sounding rather childish despite his position.

 

Kai

"um...sure, I guess. Noirtier, caught a little unawares as Kai engaged him in conversation, snapped free from a series of deep thoughts and glanced up at the young man, as well as the battle-hardened Vaporeon bounding alongside him.  A smile encroached the sides of his mouth, partially at the Pokemon but mostly due to Kai's wording.

 

"Grab me for a mission, eh?" he asked with a light chuckle, taking off his Team Yami cap a brief moment to sweep a hand through his hair.  "Surely a little excitement lies with this mission if we both are going on it.  What's the objective?  Does this have anything to do with the assembly you almost missed?"

 

Noirtier offered a playful grin at Kai, the comment intended in every way to be light-hearted and conversational.  In many ways, Kai was a friendly rival, and Noirtier would poke fun at him every now and again as a result.  Still, the two were equals in terms of rank, and he kept his professional air up for him as a result.  One can never be too professional in his eyes.

Jynn and Utopia watch everyone leave the room. Jynn then notices that Alana and her Froslass are still in the room. He sits back down and asks Utopia to shut the door. After his Pokémon closes the door and makes sure nobody is around, Jynn then begins to have a small talk with Alana. "Alana, before you go, I would like to have a word with you, if you don't mind." He looks down and sighs. "Utopia says that there is a spy working for Team Yami in our midst, and I have to believe him. He says Dawn is the spy, but I don't know if that's the case." He looks back up. "I KNOW I can believe in you in particular, because nobody in Team Yami can make a remark that brave and inspiring." He sighs again, knowing he is about to ask a huge favor. "I want to tell you something, but you must keep this a secret between me, you, Utopia, and Froslass. I did mention the major part of my plan, but I also have another, in case Team Yami does succeed into obtaining Primal Kyogre. The Timeless Ruins holds a strange mystery. Time slows down, and the land plays tricks on one's mind. I have reason to believe that there is a ledgendary Pokémon that is taking residence there, but I'm not sure who or what it is." He looked down again as if he was disappointed into sharing this information. "Until that time comes, Alana, can you please keep it a secret?"

Aaron peered towards what he assumed to be the figurehead and organiser behind this group of young trainers and said as he chuckled, "Awwww well, it's no big deal really." He waved it off as he introduced himself. "I'm Aaron from Blackthorn City, nice to meet you!" It was amazing to note how many people cared enough to show up in order to protect the region's well-being. It took a special kind of trainer to have the guts to defend their home from what could be the very end of it. And that only meant one thing in Aaron's mind: strong opponents. Creating friendships through battling was what training was all about. Aaron believed that learning from other trainers as well as your own Pokemon were the most important things to become stronger. While caught in his thoughts he gazed off at one female trainer flying on her Dragonite and turned to his companion Crystal as he pointed at the yellow dragon, "That's what you'll end up evolving into one day, Crystal..." His Dragonair gazed in awe. "Wouldn't it be great to have a battle with it?" The young man asked as he patted her head and smiled. Aaron then snapped out of his stupor and payed attention to a fellow trainer addressing him about the team and smiled, "Sure, that would be great to travel together! Uhhhh, what was your name?"

"Oh yeah! I guess I should tell ya my name for starts hahaha." laughed Ray "The names Ray & the girl still in the meeting room with Jynn was Alana, the girl that just left with her Gardevoir was Electra & there was one more girl named Dawn but I think she already left to look around or something. That's everyone in our team & I'll tell ya one more thing dude before we get going, & that is we must remain ever focused on our surroundings, looking out for dange-AHHH!! w-when did that Dragonair get in here?!" screamed Ray taken by surprise by Crystal. Ray quickly regained his cool "Anyways... lets get moving to Pyro Town man!" said Ray as he begun walking outside the building with his fist raised into the air.

 

Kai

As his rival Noirtier always did manage to get a rise out of Kai whenever he would poke fun at him, & it often works. "Anway, you could say it holds excitement. The mission is for us to gain control of Pyro Town & we're meeting another guy at the front gates to The Badlands who'll have some grunts that will be coming with us too." said Kai. Meanwhile Kai's Vaporeon was sitting next to his trainer watching Noitier closely as if he was trying to figure out the type of trainer he was "Vapore..." spoke Vaporeon "Anyway lets not keep him waiting, lets head over there." said Kai as he begun walking towards the front gates with his Vaporeon following him from behind.

 

Lexy

After James teleported out of harms way his pokemon Gallade's Psycho Cut also hits Lexy's Machoke "MA!... choke" spoke Machoke as he hits the ground defeated with dizzy eyes. "Oh no! my poor Machoke...grr!" said Lexy gritting her teeth starting to get angry & annoyed at James for knocking out her pokemon "Return Machoke" said Lexy returning her Machoke back into it's pokeball. Lexy then points a finger at james "Well! James, if your not a cop then why are you after me? & how do you know my name?" said Lexy "Pidgeot!" spoke Pidgeot as he flew towards James Gallade "Pidgeot! use Gust!" yelled Lexy as Pidgeot quickly whips out a gust attack heading straight at Warrior.

Quinirus pulled up his hoodie, turning to Ceres as he knelt down to her. "You'll have to hide inside your pokeball so they don't figure out it's me! Otherwsie the surprise will be ruined, you know." Quinirus said happily. Ceres chuckled and nodded, Quinirus quickly getting her into her pokeball. He got it away and stood up. He searched in his backpack and took out a gasmask, getting it on. It was useful and would hide his identity. He had to wear it for the sake of being able to breathe easily when the sand was kicking up around the base. It helped alot. He then skipped over to look for a few grunts, eventually finding those he found to be more useful than most. He quickly picked them out like a bee chose flowers, with a 'Hello fellow members! Let's join mister Kai on a mission!', and so they went with that. They followed Quinirus, going by them as Q, meeting up at the entrance of the base with the grunts, to meet up with Kai and Noirtier. "Hello!" Qunirus said, waving cheerfully as he walked over to the two with the grunts. "We're going to try to take over Pryo Town, right? This should be fun to do." Quinirus said as he clapped his hands together. All together along with the grunts made a group of around 12, the three of them being of course the main characters of the mission. His holocaster suddenly rang up. He quickly picked it up, looking down at it. "Oh I totally have to take this!" Quinirus said as he answered. "Hello?~ How's it going?~"

((Quinirus is like everyone's dream boss.  =P  He's amiable, remembers names, is determined and has fixated goals, and is overall a pretty laughable guy.  As for the lateness of this reply, a thousand apologies are necessary.  On my end there is so . . . much . . . craziness.))

 

Noirtier Bourheur

 

Noirtier maintained a huge grin as Kai delivered his retort, though it waned a little as Kai went into the grits of the assignment.  He always hated to be portrayed as the bad guy, taking territory so that Team Yami would be more fruitful in its endeavours, but as the saying went, "Whatever will be, will be."

 

"Sounds exciting enough," he replied, using frothy enthusiasm in his voice that he honestly did not have before realising that he was being stared at by knee-height, starry black eyes.

 

At least his newly formed smile was genuine.  He liked Vaporeons, the Eeveelutions reminding him of his old home and travels in Johto, and this Vaporeon visibly had a strong tie with his trainer, much like his neighbor Elly's Espeon and Glaceon.  His mind snapped back to reality very soon, however, upon seeing his boss and team leader trudging down the hall to meet up with them, entirely undistinguishable with his muffled voice and face-length gas mask.  Noirtier looked at the happy fellow with abundant confusion and gave him a equally befuddled wave as if he were a fellow underling.

 

"That your friend, Kai?" he asked in a hushed whisper, walking alongside the man and his bouncing Vaporeon.  "He seems cheerful enough."

Alana and Froslass were listening close to Jynn. 

"Dawn might be a spy?" she asked, Froslass shrugging her shoulders. 

"Wow...um...okay. If we have to resort to that...we will." Alana looked at Jynn confidently. 

"I will keep it a secret, Jynn. I promise." she nodded her head, and with that, left the room...headed to whereever she could right now.

Jynn watches Alana leave. He then turns to Utopia. "Are you ready to go?" The Pokémon nods his head. Jynn grabs an indigo arm brace containing Utopia's Mega Stone, the Lucarionite, and clamps it around Utopia's right arm. They then leave the building and head towards Maelstrom Cave. Jynn becomes more and more worried about Kyogre's appearance in the Tamara Region. Utopia notices this. "Sir, cheer up. You are very smart, and anything that Team Yami has in store, you most certainly can handle it." Jynn smiles. "I sure hope so. The question is, have they zoned in on Maelstrom Cave?" Utopia smirks. "Well, there's only one way to find out." They both continue on their journey. They managed to borrow an amphibious car from a friend.

Ray was waiting just outside the building for Aaron & his partner Dargonair "Man, where is he? I thought he was following right behind me?... I'll just wait outside for him" said Ray to himself. Ray took out one of his pokeballs looking at it intensely "I wonder, if I'll see him again..." said Ray deep in thought while he waited for Aaron.

 

Kai

While Kai & Noirtier walked heading for the front gates Kai couldn't help but think "Pyro Town... even though it's my home town I can't help but feel this must happen for me to become stronger. This will be anything but exciting for me...you know this too don't you Vaporeon. That's why your concerned for me" thought Kai as he looked at his Vaporeon as they walked, soon Kai saw his leader in disguise with his hoodie up & a gas mask on waving cheerfully as they approached him "... " the expression on Kai's face was blank until Noirtier said "That your friend Kai?".

 

Kai felt a rise of anger out of that little saying "Heck no! I don't need friends, they'd only get in my way anyway." said Kai in response to Noirtier. As Kai & Noirtier reached the happy go lucky disguised Quinirus "Yep, that's our mission alright. We better get going then if we--" said Kai right before Quinirus's holocaster rang. Kai instantly felt a rise of anger again clearly annoyed by both his leader & his rival now "Why?...why me?!" thought Kai as he waited for Qunirus to finish up his call. Meanwhile Kai's Vaporeon could easily see Kai's annoyed look "Vap, Vap." spoke Vaporeon with an annoyed look on his face annoyed at Kai for being so impatient.

As Jynn and Utopia reach the shore of Maelstrom Cave, they notice two Team Yami grunts guarding the opening to the cave. Jynn and Utopia quietly converse with each other. "No! They are here?!" Utopia plays it cool. "We can drive them out. Surely they're just checking the area out." Jynn nods and he parks the borrowed amphibious car near the back of the cave. They then quietly travel towards the entrance and the two grunts. One grunt stops them. "Oi! You're not supposed to be here! Turn back to where you came from, or else!" He takes out a PokéBall and throws it near the champion. It releases a bright light containing a Houndoom. Jynn just looks at the grunt and the Houndoom. "Sorry, but I'm not in the mood for your attitude. Let's make this quick."

 

Utopia prepares himself for a battle. "Utopia, prepare yourself with Bone Rush!" The Lucario calls fourth a blue bone (like in my signature). The grunt is baffled by the champion's bravery, confident to pit a Lucario against a fire type, but the grunt's loyalty and cockiness overtakes him. "Hah! You think a weak Lucario can defeat my fire Pokémon!? Houndoom use Fire Fang!" The Houndoom then charges at Utopia with its mouth filled with flame. Jynn remains calm and sees an opportunity to quickly take out the Houndoom. "Block his bite!" Utopia then runs up to the Houndoom and swings the weapon in between the Houndoom's teeth. "Now use Aura Sphere!" Utopia lets go of the weapon and uses the Houndoom as a catapult. He then charges a blue orb of energy in midair and releases it at the unsuspecting Houndoom. It was over just like that. The Houndoom was defeated due to it's type being half dark, which is weak to a fighting attack like Aura Sphere. The grunt calls back his Pokémon and cowardly runs away.

Eros landed in the ruins, Electra on his back holding on. "Good job, Eros." Electra said as she jumped off, glancing up at the ancient ruins before her. They had always been there, and had always been full of mistery. All expeditions had always ended up in either people going missing for months, or simply being unable to explore them in general as it always seemed that something mystic simply wanted to keep them away. Knowing all this, Electra couldn't have been more excited. Maybe she would end up finding something that no one had ever found before. Best way to kick her future career as a Pokemonthropologist. She turned to Eros, raising his pokeball to him. "Thank you, Eros. You deserve some rest." Electra said, Eros nodding happily as Electra got him back into his pokeball. She then took out another one. "Selene, we're here." Electra said as she had Selene come out of her pokeball. Selene blinked a few times and glanced up at the ruins. "This place...feels very strange." Selene said, getting closer to Electra. "I know. But there has been activity found here from Team Yami. We need to investigate and hopefully find out what they are looking around here specifically." Electra said as she began to walk off along with Selene. "But...where should we start?" Selene asked. Electra turned on the flashlight of her holocaster, pointing it at the entrance of the ruins. On the outside there were reminants of what seemed to be a camp. There was a tent set up, with some backpacks and equipment, but no one around it. "We follow everyone else, and go as deep as we can." Electra said as she walked into the ruins.

Ray

"Oh yeah! I guess I should tell ya my name for starts hahaha." laughed Ray "The names Ray & the girl still in the meeting room with Jynn was Alana, the girl that just left with her Gardevoir was Electra & there was one more girl named Dawn but I think she already left to look around or something. That's everyone in our team & I'll tell ya one more thing dude before we get going, & that is we must remain ever focused on our surroundings, looking out for dange-AHHH!! w-when did that Dragonair get in here?!" screamed Ray taken by surprise by Crystal. Ray quickly regained his cool "Anyways... lets get moving to Pyro Town man!" said Ray as he begun walking outside the building with his fist raised into the air. 

 

Ray

Ray was waiting just outside the building for Aaron & his partner Dargonair "Man, where is he? I thought he was following right behind me?... I'll just wait outside for him" said Ray to himself. Ray took out one of his pokeballs looking at it intensely "I wonder, if I'll see him again..." said Ray deep in thought while he waited for Aaron.

 

"Ray," he repeated and smirked. "Got it!" Aaron gave a hearty laugh at Ray's reaction to Crystal. "Well, in regards to danger I can safely tell you that Crystal here is no danger to us," the young male reassured his new companion. "She travels alongside me outside her Pokeball most of the time. I guess she just likes being with me outside which is fine." Aaron's Dragonair then gave him a look which he recognised and smiled, "Hungry, again? We just ate before we got here. Oh well, I guess you need to keep your strength up." He reasoned as he fed her a handful of nutritious Pokemon food. "There you go, eat up." After Crystal was satisfied Aaron noticed Ray gone and saw him in the distance. "Whoopsie, can't straggle behind. We have duties to fulfil!" He caught up to Ray, "Sorry about that, dude. Crystal here got hungry." He laughed and shook his head, "Even though we ate just before arriving here. Now let's go!"

"Nah man, it's alright. I've also got a pokemon that gets hungry often too haha" laughed Ray as he put away his pokeball. Ray then started to walk with Aaron & his Dragonair heading to Pyro Town "So Aaron, how long have you 2 been together anyways? & how many pokemon have ya catch so far?" asked Ray wanting to know more about Aaron.  

 

Kai

While Kai & Noirtier waited for Quinirus's phone call to finish up Kai had clamed his mind to be a bit more patient & turned his head towards Noirtier "...Noirtier, I know your my rival & probably the closest person I can call a friend here in team Yami. Which is why I'll telling you this... Pyro Town is my home, I just don't know how I feel about taking control over my old home town is all & well... I don't know it yet but I feel as tho doing this mission will help me achive the strength I've been looking for all this time." said Kai as he put his left hand on Noirtier's right shoulder "& you'd better not go thinking I've gone all mushy just cause I felt like telling you this ,okay!" said Kai slightly twitching his eye feeling like a big softy while his Vaporeon just sat there with a smile on his face looking at both Kai & Noirtier seeing them both as good friends rather than rivals.

Jynn laughs as he watches the grunt flee. Utopia lands back on his toes. "I'm pretty sure there is more grunts inside the cave. Must be why those two at the entrance are guarding the cave. Should I Mega Evolve?" Jynn looks at the two grunts. "I don't see why not. However, I think we should use some extra help." He pulls out a PokéBall, and opens it. A large beam of light crashes into the ground, with a Garchomp appearing from it. "Slash, me and Utopia can use your help. There are Team Yami grunts in this cave." The Garchomp, Slash, gives an excited roar. "GRAAAHH!" The loud noise alerts the two grunts in front of the cave. One of them begins to threaten Jynn. "Hey! You! You are not allowed here! This cave is now property of Team Yami!" The two grunts throw their PokéBalls containing a Metang and a Luxray. "Jynn raises an eyebrow. "I'm sorry, "property"? You are mistaken, my friends. This cave does not belong to anyone!" A grunt laughs. "Of course it belongs to us! This is how the world SHOULD work! Now scram, or let us destroy your Pokémon!" Jynn remains unfazed. "Slash, use your Sand Veil ability to your advantage. Use Sandstorm!" Slash then roars and begins to kick up a sandstorm. Jynn then places a Key Stone on a slot of his arm brace, and presses it. "Utopia, Mega Evolve!" Utopia is then covered in a bright pink orb. The orb then breaks apart, revealing Utopia's Mega form.

Warrior simply teleported out of the Gust attack and when he reappeared used Stone Edge on the Pidgeot while still being boosted by the Swords Dance attack. James looked over at Lexy. "Oh let's just say I have my own special way of knowing what I need to know. Honestly, I know just almost every thief in this region, except for a lot of Team Yami members, but I don't worry to must time to learn the enemy's henchmen. Now, can you please stop attacking me and just listen up. I think I have something you want, and you have something I want. So I think we should calm down and talk about how we can both get what we want." James said as he took out a small picture of an Eevee which had to earrings on its left ear. "I may or may not have a lead to this Eevee. And honestly, I think you should know of this lead to help save this Eevee. It may not be the Pokemon itself that I have, but you get me what I want and I can tell you of this Eevee." James said with a smirk.

 

Dawn finally got through to Quinirus. "Leader, hope this isn't a bad time, but I must update you on my progress. I have gotten in to Team Valor and haven't been caught as of yet. I am sending you a message of their plans as we speak. However, I must say that there is an actual Lucario that can talk called Utopia in the group, and as we both know Lucarios are known for their aura senses. So just a warning that I am going to have to be extremely careful to ensure that we can get enough inside information on the team as possible." Dawn told the leader of Team Yami as Emma kept watch to make sure no one heard them.

 

Spark was still in the Team Valor meeting room in the camera when everyone left. "The Timeless Ruins, eh? Sounds like something I should inform James about. And a legendary Pokemon messes with time there, that is interesting. Oh well, time to go." Spark said as he went out of the camera and started heading towards James using nearby wires to stay out of sight.

Noirtier was admittedly a little taken aback by Kai's brash and fiery response, sinking into a mental slump as he thought more and more on it, but as the disguised Quinirus worked on his phone call things Kai continued talking with him.  Things made much more sense now that he got to know a little more about Kai's background, and it baffled him that he did not know his home town before.  Then again, they were not very communicative beyond mild jabs and competition, something he might have to work on.  They've been rivals for a while now, but what is the harm in being pals too?  Noirtier wondered about that.

 

"You'll always be mushy in my eyes, friend," Noirtier commented after a short pause, grinning mischievously equally as long before the expression faded.  "But seriously, Kai, that's . . . tough.  It isn't right to conquer your home for any cause.  I know I wouldn't feel right about it myself.  That's why I ask you this:  how about you sit out on battles against people you recognise, maybe avoid them entirely?  Seeing them would only worsen your feelings there."

 

He scratched the back of his head in disgruntlement, letting out a groan, and brought his monologue down to a hushed whisper only Kai and the Vaporeon would hear.  Thankfully their pace slowed so that they were the last of the group, and barely out of earshot.

 

"Between you and me and the floorboards, I never liked this part of the job -- taking territory, I mean.  I never cared for this team or its goals and could care less whether they win or lose, but I want my parents happy in the end.  You may have your own reasons or you may not, but if it'll help you I'll conquer Pyro Town in your stead and be gentle about it."

 

((To save them both face, Noirtier is thinking about taking lead on the sly and saving Kai from disastrous broken bonds with people he knows. 

 

Something tells me, however, that Ray and Kai are going to meet nonetheless.

Quinirus listened, smiling softly. "Be careful, Dawn. Right now you are the closest to our enemy. I wouldn't want you to get hurt." Quinirus said in a sincere tone. So they had a Lucario. Well that could pose a problem, as equally as it couldn't if it was taken care of properly. "Thank you very much for the information. I hope for your safety in such a dangerous mission. Know that if you feel in any danger you can always contact any of us, and we can head over to provide help for you. Maybe we should find a way to get 'rid' of that Lucario while we are at it. Though it would be a shame to quiet down such a prosperous pokemon. We'll have to see. Do what you must, and as you do. Get as much information as you can, but do be wary of your safety. Good luck, Dawn. I'll talk to you soon." Quinirus said as he smiled, hanging up on the call. He glanced over the information, his eyes narrowing. "They're already getting on their way to become trouble for us. What an annoyance. Well, one thing at a time. There's only so many of us that can watch over so many errands." Quinirus told himself as he smiled over at Kai and Noirtier. "Well then! Let's get going shall we? If we don't move on now we might get caught in a very bad sandstorm! You guys know how terrible those can be!" Quinirus said as he happily began to walk with the two and along with the grunts. They could only handle one thing at a time, and currently, their priority was Pyro Town. He couldn't help but to internally awe at the two of them at the attempt at becoming friends. They were already allies, and it was good to see them being wonderfully nice to each other. Nothing makes a great team like friendship!

Kai removed his left hand from Noirtier's shoulder turning his back to him "No can do Noirtier. I'll Thank ya for the offer but, I didn't become strong by avoiding my fights." said Kai. Then when Noirtier whispered to Kai & his Vaporeon kai whispered back saying "I see, we have more in common then I thought. But I can't back down now since not only is our boss watching us but he also put me in charge of this takeover, How about I just let you take on those that get in our way & I'll handle the takeover part where the source of the towns minerals are, K?" whispered Kai to Noirtier "Vapore, Vapore" whispered Kai's Vaporeon as if he was trying to be in on their whispering plans. That's when Quinirus's phone call finished & he looked to both Kai & Noirtier with a smile on his face "Sure do Q, That's why I have these" said Kai as he then put on a pair of goggles "Lets get going then" said Kai as he started walking with Quinirus, Noirtier & the grunts heading out into the sandy sand lands with their destination being Pyro Town. Kai then took out one of his pokeballs pointing it at his Vaporeon "You'd better get inside Vaporeon, I have someone else for this part of the journey" said Kai sending his Vaporeon back into he's pokeball & bring out another one of his pokemon, that pokemon being his Serperior.

 

Lexy

"Look out for the stones Pidgeot!" yelled Lexy as her Pidgeot quickly then saw the stone edge attack coming at him managing to dodge most of the stones but still got hit by some. Pidgeot was slightly still managing to fly about "Team Yami?... something I might want?" said Lexy alittle bit confused about what James is going on about. Then when James showed a picture of an Eevee with earrings telling her he might have a lead on the Eevee Lexy's attention was dead set on james "Sneasel!" yelled Lexy as she pointed a finger at the picture of the Eevee "Sneasel, Sneasel" spoke Sneasel as she jumped out from a nearby bush near James where she was hidding swiping the picture from James hand bring it to Lexy. Lexy looked at the picture with shocked eyes "Th-this is my, Eevee... Pidgeot! hold on!" said Lexy as her Pidgeot stopped fighting & quickly flew down near her. Lexy looked at James with dagger eyes "& what is it you want?..." said Lexy.

One of the grunts begins to attack. "Metang, use Meteor Mash on that GarCHUMP!" The Metang begins to charge one of its arms to attack, but seems to have difficulty locating Slash in the sandstorm due to his Sand Veil ability. However, the Metang sees Slash's silhouette and attacks. Slash gets hit, but he keeps his ground (haha, get it?). Jynn retaliates. "Slash, use Crunch!" The Garchomp lunges at the Metang and grabs one of its arms. Slash then throws the Metang in the air. Jynn sees an opportunity. "Now use Dragon Rush!" Slash's head begins to glow blue and he then charges at the Metang, leaving a dragon-like trail behind him. The Metang, still having trouble seeing Slash is then taken by surprise, and gets head butted by him, knocking the Metang to the ground, but still conscious. The grunt looks angrily at Jynn's silhouette in the sandstorm. He then thinks of an evil idea. "Metang, use Meteor Mash on the trainer!" The Metang gets up and looks at the grunt, questioning his master's logic. "I said do it!" The sandstorm subsides, with Jynn in clear view of the Metang. Reluctantly, the Pokémon charges up an attack and dashes to Jynn. Jynn, seeing this, grabs a PokéBall out of his belt and whispers to it. "Sarabi, use Flamethrower." He then throws the ball on the ground and it releases a bright light containing his Pyroar, Sarabi. She sees the Metang, and she opens her mouth and releases a stream of flames at the enemy. The Metang is launched back towards the grunt, KO'ed. The grunt angrily calls back the Pokémon and grabs his Holocaster. He then flees into the cave, leaving the other grunt behind with Jynn. He begins to talk to someone. "Lord Quinirus! There is an extremely powerful trainer here at Maelstrom Cave! He is taking us out with a Garchomp and a Lucario with very little effort!"

Quinirus blinked as his Holocaster rang again. He picked it up, hearing the distressed voice of one of the grunts. "What?!" Quinirus asked. Damn, had they been caught up that quickly? "Hold on and keep him at bay as much as you can. Stall him." Quinirus asked as he looked up at Noirtier and Kai. "There has been...a rather unfortunate disturbance with the people I sent at Maelstorm cave. You two are to take the grunts and go ahead with the plan to take over Pyro Town." Quinirus ordered. They were basically already half way there. He took out his pokeball. "Minerva, come on out." Quinirus ordered, his Noivern coming out of the pokeball, screeching proudly as she stretched her wings. Minerva was a grand Noivern. Larger and stronger than most, even for her species. "I will join you as soon as I can, if possible. I will meet you all in Pyro Town. Maybe by the time I get to you you have already taken over the town." Quinirus said as he crawled over his Noivern, holding onto her neck. "I'm sorry that I won't be able to help you guys out with the start. I'll come back as soon as I deal with the rat. Be careful, and call me if anything. Good luck." Quinirus said as he gave thumbs up. He looked over at Minerva. "Maelstorm Cave. Let's go girl." Quinirus asked. Minerva screeched, expanding her wings and taking off into the sky. She rode up and out of the sands before taking a turn and speeding off to Maelstorm Cave. Maybe after they had taken over the whole primal evolution thing they could think about genetic cloning so he could be in more than one place at once. That would be pretty cool.

-Electra-
The ruins were as magical and as old as the books always said. Dust. Dirt. Pieces of ceilings and walls and floors falling apart. Not the place you'd take someone on a date but it would do. Electra used her hand to feel the walls, the carvings of ancient civilizations as they set a permanent reminder of their daily lives and pokemon. "I don't know about you, but I'm not feeling the whole 'Timeless' effect at all." Electra said. "Be careful what you wish for, Electra." Selene spoke, following her trainer. Electra moved her flashlight around, stopping at a three way fork in the ruins. "Great. Where will we know where to go?" Electra muttered, looking around. They all looked exactly the same, except for one, which had a staircase that was leading down. "Maybe we just need to go in deeper." Electra figured as she began to walk down the stairs. "E-Electra! Wait up! You don't know what's down there!" Selene said as she followed. "Maybe we'll find a Pokebucks!" Electra said in her most sarcastic tone. Selene sighed. She just hoped they didn't encounter something that they couldn't handle.

- Noirtier Bonheur -

 

Noirtier blinked as well, smiling at Kai's hardy response.  The kid certainly had gusto, that was certain, and Noirtier felt that he picked an excellent rival.  He was, however, taken aback when he heard the mentioning of "Q," something he caught quite often when Kai talked about Quinirus, and he looked at the disguised leader in surprise and interest.  Yes indeed, from the height to the mannerisms to his speech pattern, that was Quinirus, but it took a lot of concentration to strip the mask from the man mentally.

 

Shortly thereafter, Quinirus answered an emergency call and took off with the unveiling of his prized Noivern, rushing towards Maelstrom Cave with all haste, and the company was left with only Kai and Noirtier as its commanding officers.  Noirtier turned toward the assembly, shielding his eyes from a flurry of sand and tried the best motivational speech he had practiced.  Granted, it was his only one he practiced, but he hoped it would work nicely.

 

"All right, you lot, gather round 'cause I'm only going to say it once.  Beyond the horizon of this scape lies victory.  Pyro Town will fall to our might, and through our control will this land flourish as greatly as Team Yami will, but I do not want anyone breaking the code of conduct.  You are men and women I have watched blossom into who you are today, and I intend to make you stronger, better individuals yet that will exceed even my position.  Prove the greatness of your effort on the field of battle, share the ecstasy of victory alongside me, and know we shall make this world a better place!

 

"Battle plans I shall leave to Kai for the most part, but I will scout ahead of the team and survey the town from above."  With that, his hand went to his belt and withdrew his Skarmory's Pokeball, unleashing it soon after close by.  With a powerful bellow, Gervais stretched his wings and leaned his head towards his master.  Noirtier stroked the rounded bill of its beak with fondness.  "Gervais and I will take on any potential great threats in this town, preventing them from assisting in fighting you all.  Good luck, you all."

 

With a smile and a nod, Noirtier rushed onto his Skarmory's back and, together, ascended into the sky through a billow of sand.  Since they were about halfway already, it was going to be an easy flight and almost just as easy of a walk to get to the contested town.

Ray

While Ray waited for Aaron to answer his questions he noticed just on the edge of his vision, it was Dawn's pokemon Noibat up in a huge tree in the park where the 2 trainers were walking passed. "Oh cool as! it's a Noibat! Hold on a minute Aaron, I gotta catch this pokemon real quick like!" said Ray with excitement as he took out an empty pokeball rushing over to the park area. Ray quickly was in range to catch Dawn's pokemon "All righty! now lets make this an easy catch okay you little Noibat. NOW GO POKEBALL!!" yells Ray as he throws his empty pokemon at the little Noibat pokemon in hopes to catch it right away without fighting it.   

 

Kai

Kai, Noirtier & Quinirus were about halfway to Pyro Town until Quinirus got another phone call on his Holocaster. Apparently something had come up & in no time at all Quinirus was off flying on his Noivern heading to a cave "Hm... Maelstorm cave ay, whatever Q. By the time he comes back I'll have already put Pyro Town under our control." said Kai with much confidence. Then just after that Noirtier gave a much inspiring speech to the grunts getting their spirits up & ready for battle against anyone who would dare appose them in their goals with Pyro Town. As Noirtier ascended into the sky on his Skarmory going on ahead of the group to take out any potential great threats before they could cause any real trouble "Well, you heard him right guys? follow me as we move towards the gates of Pyro Town! Yelled Kai as he walked on with the grunts following him "Now, heres the battle plans your to follow when we get into Pyro Town" said Kai as he explained his plans with his Serperior close by him.

 

Lexy

Lexy looked at James with an even sharper dagger eyes than before "WELL!... WHAT IS IT YOU WANT?!" yelled Lexy starting to lose her cool.
