The 13th Kenpachi 4,279 Posted June 24, 2016 Yep, the In campaign lost by a small margin of about 3 percent. 52% of the country voted out, I'm very scared since this is going to be a HUGE change for everyone living here. 2 quid is good 2,209 Posted June 24, 2016 All I can say is, I'm proud of my areas for voting high levels of remain. The pound is at an all time low, Ireland wants to reunify with Ireland And Scotland wants to go independent again Oh, and so does London. It's hard to get excited about this, when EVERYTHING we do when we go out of our own borders will be so much harder. It's even harder to get behind a decision made mostly by people whose only reason to vote leave was an ill informed view on immigration. Also, 48% voted remain. This is not a massive win. If we do leave these people have to be taken into account because that is practically half the population! This is not going to be pretty 2 Nero Kunivas and Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) reacted to this

2 quid is good 2,209 Posted June 24, 2016 Already the pounds value has plummeted to 1985 levels. There's so much gloom and nothing much to look forward to. If people's only problem was migration we could have made a negotiation deal to restrict immigration from certain countries I.e Poland because for some reason everyone hates them But now we are killing ourselves! Over 400 years of the United Kingdom, more than 800 for great Britain, and now Ireland and Scotland wanna skip it, and honestly, who can blame them? sagman12PC 280 Posted June 24, 2016 (edited) Like it or not, 17 million UK citizens voted to leave the EU. This does not make them racists or bigots or idiots; they simply exercised their right to vote and the results were in their favor. Just because these people have different political beliefs and opinions it doesn't make them racists or bigots. This is how democracy works. 52% voted leave and 48% voted remain. Like the "United" States, the "United" Kingdom seems to be more divided now then it ever was before Edited June 24, 2016 by sagman12PC 2 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) and Hargleblargleboo reacted to this
Setrex 1,031 Posted June 24, 2016 The scaremongering worked. The result was very close, but I do think a lot of people who voted to leave voted for the wrong reasons. It's too early to raise the "DOOMED" flag, but I do think there are definitely consequences to be had in the long run. The split was so incredibly marginal that it shows how much this referendum has divided the UK. I truly think it would be best for Northern Ireland and Scotland to leave the UK. We laughed at Scotland trying to leave the UK originally, but that was because they were better off staying where they were, but now? Scotland as a whole voted Remain which speaks for itself, Northern Ireland was also a majority Remain vote. Now I don't live in the UK, but I know there were a lot of concerns here in the Republic of Ireland over the vote and those haven't changed. There is so much uncertainty about the next step. I better go try and find some pound coins, they might be regarded as fossils in the future. Many of my friends and family I have, both in Ireland and the UK, are both furious and disappointed by the result. I'm the exact same. 3 Nero Kunivas, Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) and 2 quid is good reacted to this

Yeah you're right, it doesn't mean they're bigots, it just means that they bought the poisonous rhetoric politicians on the leave side told them. A hell of a lot of them are prejudiced against immigrants though, you can't hide that. Fact is these 52% of the population are directly responsible for the utter chaos happening right now, all because they never even tried to see the facts, because they were fed lies and believed them and because they let prejudice and hate get the better of them 2 Nero Kunivas and Setrex reacted to this

tysonrss 38 Posted June 24, 2016 So it passed? I'm happy to hear it. Now Britain can redeclare its independence and break free from the shackles of the banksters. I don't know why people are so concerned. They're just misinformed.
AzureAce 544 Posted June 24, 2016 (edited) I'm not too fussed about it because in 2, 3 years time there will be another Scottish Independence Referendum and it will most likely be a Yes vote this time around because we don't want to be associated with the mess that, for the most part a majority of England and Wales have caused. Scotland and Northern Ireland didn't ask for this, we voted Remain. So now is the best time for us to leave the UK, because I know I don't want to be a part of a completely broken economy like it is now, and have a leader like Boris Johnson or Nigel Farage heading up the country. But that's just me. Oh, can I also mention that the majority of Leave voters were voting that because Nigel Farage promised and guaranteed the NHS an increase in £380 million? When this morning Nigel Farage then said that he can't promise and guarantee that anymore? Good luck England, Wales and Northern Ireland because given a couple years, we are out of here. Edit: I also want to say, the pensioners have firetrucked up the futures of me and millions of other young people in the UK. I don't know why people are so concerned. They're just misinformed.I don't know if this is satire or not, but I'm gonna assume no because my trust in people has been diminished greatly since 3 am this morning. Firstly, and I've been hearing this a lot. Britain is not gonna be independent because there's no one to be independent from. This isn't 1947 when India became independent FROM Britain, we are leaving a union where everyone is equal, and no one nation state has power over the other. So you're not getting independent from anyone. Least of all Europe."breaking free from the shackles of the bankers" lol that's cute, you think the UK isn't being controlled by a bunch of bankers anyway! Aww. Newsflash, it is. The EU notwithstanding, we have a big problem with taxing and regulating bankers anyway. In fact the EU probably helps us more with this issue than we do ourselves. "they're just misinformed" Hmm, I think we know who is misinformed mate. 1 Robbie the Wise reacted to this

2 quid is good 2,209 Posted June 24, 2016 Oh, and if you want any indication of how much leaving the EU has firetrucked us up, look no further than this. London, Bristol, Leicester, Manchester, Leeds, Scotland, and Northern Ireland "Desperately trying to swallow the fury I'm feeling this morning. So many people and parties to blame, so much recrimination to come. Scotland to leave, the EU to fragment, Sinn Fein already rekindling the flames of Irish nationalism, sterling tumbling, and the prospect of a power-grab by the most toxic elements within the Tory party. A disaster of our own making. The disaffected, the credulous and the reactionary have 'taken back control' - I fear they will reap everything they deserve." This accurately sums it up for me, and also, London should go independent, we were 60% for the EU 1 Nero Kunivas reacted to this
Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted June 24, 2016 You want my honest opinion on all this? My true feelings? I am firetrucking terrified. My so called "United" country has proven to be divided among itself, clearly having not heard the phrase: "A house divided among itself cannot stand." and as a result, Ireland, Scotland and even London City are planning to become independent, which is basically a splintering. The Great British Pound is borderline worthless now and it can only get worse from here, along with the Stock Market crashing so quickly and spectacularly. And now David Cameron is packing his bags and will be buggering off in a few months, leaving the position of Prime Minister open to the likes of Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson. Hell, this might even lead to future EU Referendums for other EU Members, causing it to fall apart, though now I'm really speculating. And just to top it all off, Donald Trump is looking to be the next US President.... ....can I just move to Canada? New Zealand? Australia?! Can I just get out of here? 3 2 quid is good, Setrex and Sendou Aichi reacted to this
