Tsunamo 62 Posted September 8, 2010 The Weekly Shonen Jump has revealed that Dissidia will finally be getting a sequel. Not much information has been revealed yet, but Lightning from FFXIII and Kain from FFIV have been confirmed to be playable. Nomura has also revealed on Twitter that the game will be playable at TGS this year. I'm so glad Dissdia's finally getting a sequel! I love the original and still play it quite alot now. It would seem to me that this one might incorporate tag team battles judging by Duodecim being in the title, it would certainly seem that the roster of playable characters will be alot bigger in this game compared to the originals. ObsidianEagle 103 Posted September 10, 2010 this looks great! it better not be PSP though, because thats why i never played the first game... they need more FFXIII cameos in kingdom hearts. i would love to be in a world where i could battle with the main characters of it on that subject, a few FF worlds in kh would be good as well... Tsunamo 62 Posted September 12, 2010 Yeah, I forgot to mention that it's on PSP. Sorry non-PSP owners. I'm really hoping for Zack or Tifa to become playable in DD: FF. The addition of Kain seems to hint that they'll be adding one support/other main character from each Final Fantasy game to me, hopefully they do. ObsidianEagle 103 Posted September 12, 2010 Brain blast!!!!!!! you know the thing that connects the PSP to your PS3, does that mean you use your PSP as a controller and the game runs on the PS3? because i have a PSP with a smashed inner screen, which i didn't fix because my warranty was up, but if that works, i could play dissidia (and other psp games)... someone please tell me that could work. She got confirmed about a week ago at TGS. I don't think Yuffie will make the cut though, she's a rather minor charcter to FFVII's story. Still would be nice to see her included though.
