Then we see that shot of Aced looking at Ava, who has her back turned towards him.  She seems like she's desperately searching from someone...or maybe running away from someone?  Aced may have wanted to attack her!  And let's not forget that scene where he was fighting against Invi!  Rather viciously, I might add!

That was Gula.

Like a lot of you here, i don't think these is a traitor.

It's unicorn man, he just doesn't know he's being manipulated into becoming the traitor.Big, tough, angry guys being manipulated is kind of common in the KH series

♪In the end nothing really matters because the paranoia is tearing them apart anywaaaaaays ♪

I fancy the idea that there is no traitor and these dumb kiddos are just becoming a self fulfilled prophecy. Though it seems a bit early to make firm theories yet. Regardless this is just my own opinion.

I mean, straight up this though. There isn't one. Granted, I'll wait and see as to how the plot actually unfolds, but more than likely it's just a big old misdirection.

To me, it feels like a betrayal to make us pick Unions and then make one of the leaders be a bad guy. People from that Union must feel bad.

So I don't really think any of the Foretellers are a traitor. But to be honest, I don't really know anything about the story.

If there is a traitor amongst the five foretellers, I'd say Gula. Otherwise, it's probably a lie made up by the 6th apprentice to try and turn the foretellers against each other or something like that. If that's true, it seems to be working.

I'm going with the obvious one, the super shifty sixth foreteller guy, because when has KH ever been secretive about who the bad guy is?

The first game they were a bit secretive about it, because up till the end it's thought Maleficent is the main villain.

There may be spoilers for Kingdom Hearts X[chi], Kingdom Hearts Unchained X, and/or Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover in this post.  So, just to be safe, I will mark the explanations for my theories as "spoilers."

I think that the traitor is the man in the black coat, because I don't think that one of the Unions we can join would end up being led by the traitor (if we did find out that one of the Foretellers was the traitor, who would want to be a part of that Foreteller's Union?).  It has not been revealed who the man in the black coat is.  However, I have two theories as to who he could be:

1.  The man in the black coat is the sixth apprentice.

This would explain why the Master of Masters only gave a copy of the Book of Prophecies to five of his six apprentices, because he knew his sixth apprentice was the traitor.  The Master of Masters trusted his other five apprentices to use the information in the Book of Prophecies to stop his sixth apprentice, but his sixth apprentice tore out the page that reveals that he is the traitor.  Since the Foretellers are missing the page that tells them who the traitor is, they stop trusting each other and start fighting each other, thus starting the Keyblade War.  However, the sixth apprentice being the traitor seems a little too obvious to me.

2.  The man in the black coat is the sixth apprentice, who is possessed by the Master of Masters.

We know that the Master of Masters has disappeared, but we do not know where he disappeared to.  Maybe he only gave a copy of the Book of Prophecies to five of his six apprentices because he planned to use his sixth apprentice as a vessel.  Maybe he gave the Foretellers a copy of the Book of Prophecies after ripping out the page that reveals that he is the traitor.  Then, he disappeared into his sixth apprentice, so that he, in the words of Master Xehanort, "would survive...and be there to see what awaited beyond the Keyblade War!"

No matter which theory I end up going with, I think that at least the physical body of the man in the black coat is the sixth apprentice, because, if the Master of Masters truly did disappear like we were told, then who else would the Foretellers trust other than the sixth apprentice?

I have an idea that the sixth apprentice is actually the traitor (It may have some aspects from one of my fanfiction, but please hear me out). I mean, think about it: this "Master of Masters" they mentioned has an "eye" that allowed him to "see the future", and he may have saw a vision of his sixth apprentice causing a horrendous battle we all know as the "Keyblade War" by having his fellow apprentices turn against each other. With that vision, he wrote down the warning within the five copies of the Book of Prophecies and gave each copy to the Foretellers. He even took the sixth apprentice's Keyblade and hid it away in a world that will evenutally be known as the "Land of Departure" where, from one generation to another, Keyblade Masters watched over (originally the Keyblade of the Sixth Apprentice, but that reason/purpose was lost/forgotten as time passes: much like how the story of the Keyblade War faded away into legends) to prevent the history of the Keyblade War from repeating itself due to the vision regarding the Sixth Apprentice coming true. Which explains why Eraqus reacted the way he did and this following quote "There is a reason the precepts bar us from such knowledge." in this cutscene:

(Courtesy of Everglow and KH13)

As for Eraqus and Xehanort's Master, he/she may have been a Keyblade Master who watched over the Land of Departure without even knowing the world's original purpose. And Xehanort took the Keyblade due to sensing a connection/feeling that the Keyblade is his destiny when he looked up at that Keyblade during the KHIII trailer (Due to the reason that Xehanort is the reincarnation direct descendant of the Sixth Apprentice (if you consider the following theory from HMK:

))

So what do you think?
