Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) Okay so although I've loved Pokemon since I was a kid, I never got the opportunity to play the games back then since I don't own and never owned any Nintendo consoles. Thus when Sun & Moon were announced I decided to go ahead and download an emulator to play every Pokemon generation in order in anticipation for them. Hopefully I can get a 3DS by then but I digress. So I've just beaten the Fuchsia City gym in FireRed. Now I'm just obtaining certain Pokemon from the Safari Zone like Scyther, Dratini, Chansey, etc. Anyways I want suggestions for my current team. So my current team is: SPOILERS: Click to reveal Charizard LV44 (I obviously chose Charmander ) Ability: Blaze (typically) Fly Wing Attack Flamethrower Slash Gyarados LV41 Ability: Pressure Hydro Pump Twister Bite Surf Dugtrio LV41 Ability: Arena Trap Dig Slash Mud-Slap Sand Tomb Nidorina LV42 Ability: Poison Point Bite Fury Swipes Helping Hand Double Kick Pikachu LV45 Ability: Static Thunderbolt Thunder Thunder Wave Double Team Paras LV10 (my HM slave) Ability: Effect Spore Scratch Stun Spore Cut Flash I've been debating whether to add Pokemon like Lapras, Snorlax, Hitmonlee, Dratini (to evolve into Dragonite) and Rhyhorn (to get Rhydon), or even one of the Eeveelutions like Jolteon. If you have any suggestions, fire away. Peace! Edited May 30, 2016 by Yuya Sakaki

Shimmy 458 Posted May 30, 2016 The Pokémon already mentioned are fine suggestions, but I mainly recommend Pokémon you like. The main story in Pokémon is never hard and can be beaten with any team to be honest. So what better team then the Pokémon you enjoy? It makes it more fun in my opinion! 1 Yuya Sakaki reacted to this
VisitJoan 2,713 Posted May 30, 2016 Does your Pikachu really need to know both Thunderbolt and Thunder? My advice would be to get rid of one of them and give Pikachu a more diverse move set. 1 Yuya Sakaki reacted to this

My Gyarados learned Rain Dance by forgetting Twister so I can combo that with Thunder to guarantee it hits. Peace!
DaxtotheMax 193 Posted May 31, 2016 Try the manga team: Poliwrath Pikachu Venusaur Snorlax Aerodactyl and the other doesn't specify so I guess a fire type would be good...try Arcanine On 5/31/2016 at 2:05 AM, DaxtotheMax said: Try the manga team: Poliwrath Pikachu Venusaur Snorlax Aerodactyl and the other doesn't specify so I guess a fire type would be good...try Arcanine I didn't see you said Charizard...whoops, so replace Arcanine with Charizard and Venusaur with Dratini 1 Yuya Sakaki reacted to this
