Niko Collins 83 Posted May 29, 2016 So my idea for a world in Kingdom Hearts 3 is actually seeing the Pride Lands return but use the Lion King 2's story arc. So basically Sora and Co. are now returning to check on Simba after they all last met hearing that Simba was to be a dad soon. They appear during the fire sequence of the movie and have to face heartless galore and help Kovu rescue Kiara. Sora backs up Kovu and even helps him try to earn Simba's trust. The world will be a two visit world where the first time Sora might earn a new element of magic the first time and a keyblade the next time. Anyway, The first visit ends at the ambush bit of the movie and the second begins when Kiara goes looking for Kovu after he's been exiled. After they find Kovu we learn the exlie has made him give in to the darkness and we now have to fight him to snap him out of it. Kiara joins your party and a character you cannot switch out and she plays almost like Simba with something like Riku's Cure Potion from KH2 which takes all but 1 of her MP to heal a party member (Which I'll call Healing Roar for now). After snapping Kovu out of it, Sora remembers how Riku was just like Kovu and Kovu realizes he has to do the right thing regardless of whether or not he get Simba's approval, so the gang goes to stop the battle between Zira and her team of Lionesses and Simba and his group of lionesses. They arrive only to see Zira has given in to the darkness in her heart. Kovu and Kiara try to convince everyone that you don't have to fight as they may come from different sides they are all of the same blood. We are one as the movie puts it. Zira, having completely given in to darkness, refuses to be told this by Kiara and tries to kill her! She's stopped by Kovu, Sora and Simba and the three team up to stop Zira! From here, it kinda works just like the Scar fight in KHII...the ending of it all is actually the best part where Kiara tries to pull ira up but she falls anyway. After the usual events, our heroes travel on to the next world. Allies: Kovu (First Visit), Kiara: (Second Visit), Simba (Both) Abilities earned: Dash (Lion form only), Dark Roar (Sora and Kovu Joint attack), Faith Roar (Sora and Kiara Joint attack), Proud Roar (Sora and Simba Joint attack), Grand Roar (Sora, Kovu and Simba Joint attack) Items/abilities Sora takes with him: First Visit: -Magic Element (Awarded upon leaving) -HP Increased, MP Increased, Air Combo Plus, Combo Boost (Awarded for defeating Nuka) Second Visit -HP Increased, Lucky Lucky, Magic Boost (Awarded for defeating Zira) -New Keyblade (We'll call it Pride Rock for now unless you guys can come up with something better) Well? What do you think? If this is in the wrong spot...lemme know.
BadgerB 15 Posted May 29, 2016 Considering The Lion King is one of my favourite Disney movies, of course I would like to see it as a world. I can see them following the story from Return to Pride Rock, The Lion Guard series, or just creating their own story similar to Big Hero 6. 1 KHUndertaleFan25 reacted to this

It would be great to start off the whole first visit to Pride Lands again with a flashback first showing young Kiara & Kovu playing with each other before both of their prides interrupts like from the film. This can play out without any dialogue and still give an impact on how unfair it is for the cubs living in world full of rivalry. The whole exile sequence is very powerful and I think it would be interesting to see Sora struggling trying to change the pride's mind about the situation but realizing that he cannot always always solve problems on his own. I think it would be good if the second visit starts with Sora and comp returning to Pride Rock when Kovu's being judged.
KH4Real 749 Posted May 29, 2016 Nomura did say that The Lion King was his favourite Disney movie so it does have a good chance of coming back with its official sequel. Yeh The Lion King is very good ofcourse. But TLK2 not as great as the first. It is not KH3 worthy.
IwasBornAsVentus 396 Posted May 29, 2016 (edited) [it is not KH3 worthy]Why not? The sequel is actually pretty impressive and it's getting more appreciation today as a good sequel. They pretty much used the Aladdin sequel in KH2 and it worked even though that movie was not that good. I don't see why Lion King 2 wouldn't work or not be worthy to be in Kingdom Hearts 3. Niko Collins 83 Posted May 29, 2016 Nice to know I got a discussion going about it... As for it not being Kingdom Hearts worthy...I can see your point sorta...It wasn't as successful as its predecessor, but some even say it was good, visual wise! I saw a lot of Reviews of this on youtube and the people love it while some dont hate it it's just you know meh to them. I was about 12 when I first saw this film and I remember crying a little with Kiara. Much like I cried when I saw mufasa die when I was 7...yeah...to this day I still cry at both of these scenes and so I gotta skip them so I can avoid crying in front of my girlfriend. Anyway, while not as successful it was still a good film! I was hoping Kingdom HEarts 2 would use the Lion King 2's story arc when I heard it would be made. But I'l actually happy with what we got. Now Kingdom Hearts 3 has a chance to do so. Let's hope they do another Lion King trip. By the way the game is going to rated T right? if so, the Lion Guard will likely not be in there... I am saying mostly new. The one I see returning is 100 Acre Wood, Hercules (confirmed) and mayby Tron or Fantasia. Aladdin mayby not sure.
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted May 29, 2016 (edited) There's a problem though. KH3 takes place at most a few months after KH2 and Lions take 3 years to mature. As for time moving differently in different world, all that means is that while it's 11:00 PM on November 2nd, 1920 in one world, its 6:30 AM on August 18th, 1892 in another. I doesn't mean time moves any faster or slower between worlds, that only happens between realms. A year is a year regardless of the world, at least according to DiZ in KH2. http://kh13.com/videos/kh2/eng-cut/74-the-end-is-near/ http://kh13.com/videos/3d/eng-cut/97-answering-joshuas-call/ Even here, you can see that while the timers are set to different times, all four are counting down at the same pace. Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted May 29, 2016 (edited) That doesn't really matter I think. They are travelling between dimensions. Still, those two scenes show that there is a universal rate of time, although technically time should move slower in the Riku's Traverse Town than Sora's because of him being in Sora's dream ad Drams move slower than real life, which means time shoudl move slower in the Sleeping Worlds than in the Realm of Light to begin with. Let's put it this way, Time moves at the normal rate in the Realm of Lght, slower in the In-Between Realm and the Sleeping worlds and even slower in the Realm of Darkness, but time moves at the same pace in all worlds within the same realm, meaning time moves at the same rate in Agrabah as it does in Deep Jungle, despite the two worlds being in very different time periods. That's why the number on their hands changed when they got through the portal, cause time moves faster in one of the two Traverse Towns. At least that's how I see it. 1 Exiblade7 reacted to this
downnice 7 Posted May 29, 2016 I think Lion King 2 is one of the few Straight to DVD movies that was actually pretty decent along with King of Thieves. On a concept and story level I do see potential. Biggest roadbloack depends on how many new worlds compared to old worlds they are going to have. Right now the returning worlds are: Hercules Twilight Town Big Hero 6 Tangled Keyblade Graveyard And add the fact that Destiny Island and Traverse Town are pretty safe bets for returning. KH3 is going to be mostly new worlds so Lion King 2 might end up missing the cut. Lean no Lion King 2 happening in KH3. More likely to see a Kovu summon or something along those lines

Three years isn't going to magically pass in Pride Rock in the span of a few months, just like 20 years isn't going to pass in Wendy's England. Niko Collins 83 Posted May 30, 2016 Wow...thanks guys for the discussion on my idea! I feel like this should be on a TheGamersJoint video...but to dream right? For such a good youtuber to use something I've dreamt up as a discussion would make me so giddy I'd explode out of joy...but alas that dream is more likely to me than winning the lottery...
