Noctis in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Caelum means sky in Latin and

Sora means sky in Japanese

 

Considering the connection between the names of the two characters, do you think Noctis could appear in KH3? I'm not a huge Final Fantasy fan, but I think it would be awesome. What is your opinion?

Noctis will very likely appear in KH3. Tidus made it into KH1 even though FFX and KH were launched very close to eachother, so they'll probably do the same with Noctis.

There's always a possibility. The main numbered titles seem to be when they introduce new Square characters to the series, as well as significant spin off titles like BBS and DDD, so if any new FF characters were introduced, it would likely be one of the more recent ones that Nomura is really familiar with, such as Noctis. Of course, there's also chance for other characters like Lightning to appear as well, so this would be a good game to get as much fan service in as possible.

Yes! I would love to see him in KH3! I would say they could and probably should to bring FFXV fans aboard the KH fan train especially with KH3.

I think at this point, Noctis will be put in KHIII. I'm sure Nomura misses Noctis from not being the developer of FFXV anymore and still loves him very much. Who knows when the next KH game will come after KHIII to put Noctis in, so might as well put him in now, right? With Lightning and Noctis being new additions to KH, a new storyline sidequest could be added where Lightning and Noctis face off :biggrin: Just an idea, since they were both XIII games until Versus XIII became XV

 

I can also see Noctis being as an antagonist or anti-hero kind of thing. Like how Cloud was in KH1

I would love it if Noctis appeared in Kingdom Hearts III!  And it seems very likely that he'll appear!  I'm sure Nomura's already worked on implementing him into the game! We'll just have to wait and see for what happens!

I'd welcome him as a secret boss as I believe he'd be a challenge. Story wise I came up with a scenario that we encounter Noctis and the FFXV gang whilst they are on the road; they drive pass us; comical moment where Donald shouts abuse about nearly being run over. Then a bit later on we find their car has broken down and they under attack from heartless; Sora steps in and helps out before Noctis talks about needing to reclaim the light to restore his kingdom from the darkness. Noct then drives off after either giving Sora a keychain or a summon charm.
