What awaits the Kingdom Hearts series at E3 2016?

Just as the title reads. Square may not be doing a press conference, but we should at least expect SOME KH3 footage there, as well as 2.8. If you think we'll get anything there, let me know in the reply section what YOU might expect to see for KH3.

Here's some of my thoughts!

 

For Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue: I expect a brand new trailer with 0.2 gameplay and a release date. Perhaps some cover art or pre order bonuses/collectors editions too.

 

For Kingdom Hearts III: I expect to see one of the biggest trailers yet for it, and a release year.

 

I also expect all this to be shown at Sony's conference.

A new trailer for 2.8 at the very least. Its not that unreasonable of a request right? It is expected to come out sometime this year in Japan if I recall correctly so were gonna get information from it sooner or later. E3 would be a good time for them to show what they got.

However it would be handled and whoever would be showcasing it, I would at least like to see a 2.8 trailer along with a demo of at least Dream Drop Distance HD for attendees, and a trailer for KH3...with potentially a release window, but we'll see. A trailer for Unchained X in some form would be nice too, I'd like to know if we're still going to get seasonal events and stuff like for Halloween or Christmas. Either way I hope we get lots of KH footage this E3.

I want a new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer sooo bad!!! But, I'm starting to believe we won't get one. Maybe, we will receive a 2.8 full-length trailer with some of 3's gameplay at the end, just like in Jump Festa. Anyway, what I would like to see is the Foretellers in Daybreak Town and Aqua battling heartless. As for KH3, I'm hoping that two-three worlds will be announced and if we do get a new trailer, I want footage of San Fransokyo.

What I'm expecting/hoping for;

• Some more gameplay and looks at 3DHD, possibly a stage demo?
• Some 0.2 gameplay, god we need to see Aqua's bootyful face, as well as some gameplay anyway to show off what 0.2 is all about.
• Some more story details on Chi -Back Cover- and 0.2
• Possibly a KHIII trailer? I highly doubt it'll be an absolutely huge trailer if there is one given 2.8 is most likely going to be the biggest KH focus for E3 this year given it's coming out this year.
• The full conversation of Young Eraqus and Young Xehanort. I've been curious as to how it all went down ever since we got rumours that the full conversation, or a longer version of it anyway, was shown at D23 last year to the audience and the audience alone. 
• 2.8 WORLDWIDE Release Date. Come on Square. Enough of your Japan get it first bullshit anymore. This is absolutely brand spanking new content for the most part, if it's not a Worldwide release, then I have no hope left for KHIII being the same.

What I think we're likely to get;

• A 2.8 trailer with nothing majorly new other than maybe new 3DHD gameplay.
• Nothing KHIII related other than maybe another teaser like we got with the 2.5 HD ReMIX trailer.

If I were you, I wouldn't expect just because of how unpredictable SQEX is. Also, I would hate to see you ruin your experience. I hope for that stuff too believe me. I am not saying what you should do because that's not my place. Just a suggestion.I for one am not sure what they will do. They could do anything at E3.

I agree, things are way too quiet on Square's end and considering E3 is just 13 days away. Something is up but it would be best to keep our expectations low.

I'm guessing the main focus will be on 2.8. We'll most likely get a proper trailer for it with tons of new footage and a release date. We'll probably get a little bit of KH3 footage as well and maybe a new world. I wouldn't get your hopes up too much for KH3 though. The focus will most definitely be on 2.8.
