The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted May 25, 2016 Hey everyone, how's it going? I know what you're thinking. "Seriously depressed? Naw, it can't be, you're always such a happy person, Key!" Well yeah, that may be true, but I do go through my depressing times now and then, and right now, I just feel stressed out. First is the fact that Karla, the girl I want to get down with badly, is moving to the US on June 24th! When her Mom told me that, I felt my heart sink! I knew she was moving to the US, but I didn't expect it to be so soon! And well, you can imagine how I felt there...it was heartbreaking. And the fact of the matter is, I wanted to tell her how I felt about her at Comic-Con that same day, but we never had a private moment! It could be said that it was partially my fault, since I could've simply asked to talk alone with her...but yeah, my heart's pumping in my chest greatly, and I'm at a loss! I don't know if I'll be able to see her again before she leaves, and I really wanted to tell her how I felt in person! But seeing as how that didn't work out, I tried to see if I could tell her by the phone, but her phone was turned off...and well, I've been depressed! Over the months that I got to know Karla, I saw that she's an amazing girl, kind and sweet and lovable, and a huge otaku and gamer! She's also so simple and elegant, and just so adorable! (She's smaller than me!) And well, I thought that in Comic-Con, I'd finally get my moment with her...but alas, it did not happen, and knowing that she's gonna leave soon breaks my heart. If I told her my feelings on the phone, and if she accepted them and told me she had feelings for me too...then I would be willing to try a long distance relationship! I was strongly thinking against it though, since I already tried online dating twice, and well, it didn't work out like I hoped it would! But if Karla is committed to trying to make something work out of us, I'll try as well! But...I just don't know what to do! And well, another thing that's got me deeply depressed is the fact that I don't have a job yet! I'm so furious about it! I've been handing out resumes everywhere, but no matter how many I give, I always get the same answer! "If anything comes up, we'll be sure to call you!" It makes me f*cking sick! And it hurts even more because I want to be able to help my parents pay the house bills, because sometimes they get overwhelmed by the things they have to pay! Just today, my Stepdad's car was fixed, but it cost a lot of money! I only had 20 dollars, but I offered the cash to them, and they refused! I wanted to help them so badly! And it doesn't help that the car is messed up again! Who knows how much cash they'll need now? If I had a job, then their minds would be more at ease, since I could help pay the electricity and water, and groceries, too! But, even with my good intentions, even though I always help around the house by cooking and doing the dishes and the laundry and other things, a job doesn't seem to appear! I'm stumped in life, and I want to be able to keep moving forward, but I keep holding myself back, I keep hesitating, I stand in my own way, and I hate it! I want to be able to make something out of my life and accomplish my goals, and I want to be able to help the people that raised me, since they've done so much for me! But alas, things aren't clearing up for me yet...I know that things come when God wants them too...but I get so frustrated! So yeah, girl problems, and money problems...I feel heartbroken and unreliable! I want to be able to have something with Karla, and I want to be able to help my parents economically! But yeah, here I am, with a clown's mask, smiling, even though sometimes the pressure and sadness just gets to me, ya know? But luckily, thanks to God and my friends and family, I've been able to avert going insane...heck, I'm still surprised that I've managed to go through all this without breaking down! X_X But yeah...that's me, the always happy Transcendent Key...with a troubled heart and a sense of uselessness...and on top of that, I'm standing in the way of myself. Whoop dee frackin doo... -_- Sorry for this guys. I just needed to vent. 10 -Justin-, Alicia Maddox, A Heartless Nobody and 7 others reacted to this
KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted May 25, 2016 Hey pal, that sounds a little bit disappointing. Sorry to hear all of this. From my perspective, don't get so depressed and give it time. It probably won't be the first time things like this happen in your life with relationships. Also, just remember, there are bigger things to get depressed and upset about. I am going through one right now. You need some good reading to make you feel better. I will try to post another chapter of my story soon. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
KHlover8 24 Posted May 25, 2016 Sounds like we're in the same situation when it comes to money! D: Also, it sucks that you haven't gotten the chance to tell Karla how you feel. If you ever need someone to vent to, I'm here for you! Hopefully you can find the time to see Karla again before she moves and you can tell her how you really feel. Don't forget, I'm here whenever you need to talk, okay? 2 Shuy and The Transcendent Key reacted to this
MythrilMagician 6,963 Posted May 25, 2016 It's okay. You'll be fine, we all go through this hardship. With Karla, just try to tell her. If things don't work out, that would be quite unfortunate because it sounded like you two would have made a cute couple. As for your job search, keep trying! I'm sure you can do it! It is quite tricky to find a job and employers do get rather irritating. You're lucky if you even get a response. It's alright if you need to vent. We all do every now and again. If you do, we will be here to support you. 2 The Transcendent Key and Yuya Sakaki reacted to this
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted May 25, 2016 Tell Karla how you feel. You only live once and you don't want to have regrets. You don't want to think back one day and say "What if?" As for the job situation- don't be so hard on yourself. You are trying the best you can and you are helping around the house as much as possible. You will get a job eventually with all that perseverance so don't freak out yet. It will all work out. Just give it time. 5 Robbie the Wise, MyDixieRect, Aang and 2 others reacted to this
Veemon 1,540 Posted May 25, 2016 I know exactly how you feel, Transcendent! I'm in a super-similar situation, minus actually having a love interest. I don't have a job, and I feel helpless at times. I keep a semi-positive outlook on things, even though my feelings inside are drowned in despair and loneliness. Obviously, it isn't healthy or fun, right? I'm not sure how I can assist you, buddy, but I guess I should give the advice I've been told to follow this Summer: "Get out there and find a job, cuz a job won't just come to you. Same with friends and finding a girl: Express yourself and step out of your comfort zone." I still need to figure out these words myself, but I think what it's saying is that if you want something, you may need to change pace a bit, Well, I will pray for you, Transcendent. Make as much effort as you can while asking for God to work through your life. sam15782008 11 Posted May 25, 2016 (edited) Well Key, I just told a girl that I loved her and I'm not sure where I stand with her, we still hang out and stuff. Now I'm focusing building our friendship with her and see what happens in the future. My advice to you is to focus on your life now and make sure you are happy with yourself before jumping in a relationship. and to continue to build that friendship with her. After all, great friends make some of the best relationships. mag77 405 Posted May 25, 2016 I'm sorry to hear this and I hope you'll feel better and get lucky soon! While I can't really relate to the first part (I'm still trying to find my special one), the second half is exactly what is happening to me. I'm desperately trying to find a job, but I'm not getting anything. I feel like a free-loader at home because of this, even though my parents tell me its okay and that they know how hard it is to find a good job. I especially feel guilty that they're paying for my college, but its either that or go into debt, and my parents refuse to have me or my brother have college debt. One of our cars is also about to bite it, despite the many repairs its gotten, but we can't really afford a new car because we had to replace our other one last year. So, you're not alone in this. 2 The Transcendent Key and Alicia Maddox reacted to this
sam15782008 11 Posted May 25, 2016 Let me tell a little about myself. I'm 26 and I also live with my parents, not because I want to, I'm physically disabled so I can't walk or talk and only have use of my right arm and hand. I want to go out and do things on my own but can't with someone there with me, Sometimes I feel like a burden to others because taking care of me isn't exactly easy. Other than that, I don't let my disability get me down and usually a positive person. 2 PillowHead and The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Plan every detail on how you want things. People with a vision and ambition can get through things as you have the will. And doing housework of chores shouldnt be a way of making money as people think of it as what is expected of you. It's just how it should be. Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted May 25, 2016 A lot of us go through bouts of despair in life, so never feel that you're alone. What is going on in your life right now is very real and huge to you, but most likely in a few years you'll look back and think that this wasn't too life damaging. I don't know if you will find much solace in this knowledge, but I have experienced that myself time and again and it seems quite true. As for your current predicament, I believe there are things that you can do to help somewhat, and I don't believe that all is hopeless just yet. I would definitely tell Karla how you feel, even if you have to drive two hours to get to her house. If you don't tell her now you may not get the chance to, and if she truly means a lot to you I'd say go for it! Long distance relationships are tough but they can work. My relationship (which also happened to be my first!) was over the Internet for two years until we moved near each other and got married. It really can work if both people are dedicated. It sounds like she's a sweet girl, and I think she'd probably only be flattered that you got up the courage to tell her rather than let the opportunity slip by. As for the job situation, I don't know how old you are, but it'll come. Many parents understand that the job market is competitive and don't mind kids living at home for a time, provided that they're productive. It sounds to me that you help out a lot around the house, and if they see you actively trying to get a job that is all you have to do. Trust me when I say that it takes time to find a job--just don't give up! Try new approaches if it hasn't worked out yet. I don't know if you're trying for a specific job, but maybe branch out. Get some smaller job until you can get your desired one. I think a lot of us are doing that. Most importantly, remember that you're trying, and that in time these things will get better and easier. You'll get a job in no time, and hey! If Karla says yes in a few years maybe she'll move back to be with you, or maybe you'll move out there to be with her. There's so many bright possibilities! You just can't give up. Good luck! 2 The Transcendent Key and Alicia Maddox reacted to this
Felixx 6,646 Posted May 25, 2016 Sorry to hear that man! Like others have said, just tell her how you feel, before it's maybe too late. As for the job part, just don't give up! I'm sure you'll get one sooner or later. And it's absolutely alright to vent here man! Awesome Sauce 634 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) No. This isn't the Key I know. Right now you might feel helpless since you don't have a job and your friend is leaving, but eventually you will sort it out and be happy again. You just have to keep looking. What I'm about to say might be cheesy, but: Remember at the end of KH1, how Sora wasn't able to go back to Destiny Islands with Kairi yet and ended up going to somewhere else? Remember how after travelling a lot and beating the Organization in KH2 he eventually returned to Destiny Islands? Think of his situation. Everything will be right again in the next months. Look at 0:42-0:45. Hope you get better. Edited May 26, 2016 by Awesome Sauce 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

As for when it comes to girls, I'm good at talking to them, and heck, I have a lot of friends who are girls! If it won't work out that'll be heartbreaking, but at least you know you did everything you could and won't be asking yourself what could have been, and have regrets. As for the job part, just don't give up! I'm sure you'll get one sooner or later. And it's absolutely alright to vent here man! That's why this place is so amazing, because whenever you have problems you can talk to the people on here. I hope you will feel better soon, and that everything works out for you! Indeed, indeed, I don't want to have any regrets lingering in my mind, ya know? I want to be able to feel that I did all I could, without leaving any feelings concealed, ya know? Heh, and well, I won't give up on finding a job. I have to keep looking, and I will keep looking! Yeah, this site is truly the best! That's why I love being a member here! The fact that this community is so embracing and accepting of each other makes me love the Kingdom Hearts fanbase so much! This site is amazing, and you people are amazing! Thank you so much! :') No. Yeah...you know what? You're right! It is like in the first Kingdom Hearts! Sora and Kairi get separated, but even with time and distance keeping them apart, they eventually reunite! Wow man, that's definitely something to keep in mind! "If life pushes you down, you gotta push back!" Wow...that's a damn inspirational quote if I've ever heard one! I'll definitely keep that to heart! Thanks for this, man, it cheered me up! (Plus, Danny DeVito's voice is badass!) Not to be off topic, but Shige, could you check your PM I really think you should look at it. Please? Okay Alicia, sure thing! Just give me a few minutes! And well everyone, thank you so very much for your support and your kindness! I actually feel a lot better now! It feels much easier now, and I feel less depressed, and it's all thanks to God and to all of you! So truly, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all! I just need to stay strong and persevere, and hopefully, I'll get the job and the girl! It's like good old Shia says... I just have to do it!!!! 10 Felixx, MythrilMagician, Mystics Apprentice and 7 others reacted to this
Alicia Maddox 2,141 Posted May 26, 2016 Yeah, it does sound disappointing, of that much I can assure you! But yeah, I just have to be strong and keep moving forward, for there are indeed worse things that could happen, but I can't help but feel sad, ya know? But thanks for making me feel better, and I'll definitely look forward to the next chapter of your story! And hey, if you need to talk, you know I'm here, so all you need to do is talk to me on the PM, ya know? ^_^ Yeah, money problems are always the worst! D: And yeah, I really hope that I get to see Karla again before she leaves, so I can tell her how I really feel! If I can't see her, I could talk to her on the phone, but it wouldn't feel the same as talking in person! But, if I have no other option, then the phone is the only way I can tell her! And thanks sis, thanks for having my back! Love ya! *Hugs.* Yeah, I need to tell her as soon as possible! D: No matter what, I need to express to her how I feel, no matter the outcome! Ha, and you're totally right about the job part! Employers can get quite irritating when all they say is that they'll let me know if something comes up! I know I'm not the only person in the world looking for a job, but come on, I've been searching high and low for quite some time! D: And thanks, I appreciate it! Usually, I don't talk about my problems here in the site, but well, I felt like I needed to talk about this, ya know? Thanks Lea, your words mean so much to me! You're right! I should tell Karla how I feel, otherwise I'll regret not telling her! I need to get all of this tension off of my chest and be straight with her! And yeah, I'm always hanging in there, and I know that with faith in God and perseverance, I'll gain a job! But it sometimes gets stressful, ya know? But you're right, it'll all work, with time! Yeah...feeling useless and drowned in sorrow and despair is pretty darn awful...but you're right! I just have to keep looking for a job, for a job won't come looking for me! Truer words have never been spoken! As for when it comes to girls, I'm good at talking to them, and heck, I have a lot of friends who are girls! So it's not a problem of talking to them, it's more of being straight to a girl with my feelings, ya know? But I have to pull myself together and tell Karla what I feel, without any hesitation! Thanks for your support, brother! With God's help, I'll keep pushing forward, and I'll get what I want! That is true! And that's been the case with me and Karla ever since we met on December 17! We've gotten to know each other slowly and surely, and I think she's an amazing person, and one whom I would enjoy being with in a relationship! It all just depends on whether she harbors feelings for me as well, ya know? Thanks for the advice, Sam! ^_^ Well hey, whatever trouble you're going through, just hang in there! If you want to vent, we here at KH13 are ready to support you! Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear that, Mag! Wow...so your parents are paying for both you and your brother's college studies, huh? That's pretty admirable! It just shows how devoted and caring parents can be to their children. Sometimes it makes us, the children, feel guilty though, since we want to be able to help, but jobs become slimmer in obtaining, ya know? We are in a similar situation indeed, you and I! Let's hope that we can come out of this stronger, am I right? ^_^ Oh wow, I see! Sam, you're an admirable person! Even with your disability, you keep pushing forward and keep living life, and that's something not everyone is capable of doing, ya know? I'm glad you don't let your disability get you down! That's the fighting spirit you got right there! I wish you the best of luck with college when the time comes! But yeah, I've been doing my absolute best in obtaining a job! I've walked to supermarkets, pharmacies, gas stations, department stores, fast food restaurants, you name it! But still, nothing! But I can't give up! It's stressful as hell, but I can't give up! I want to be able to accomplish my dreams, so I need to keep looking for a job! And yeah, I do the house chores because its something that was taught to me at an early age, and I'm happy to help around the house, especially given the fact that when I live on my own, I won't need to worry about myself, since I know how to cook, clean my clothes and organize my things, ya know? But yeah, thanks for your support, man! Yeah, you got that right! I need to tell her! X_X I need to do so before she leaves! D: And no, I live in Puerto Rico. It's technically a part of the US, but it's more of a colony than a state, ya know? And yeah, I'm going to keep my eye on the places I hand out resumes to so that the employers see that I'm insisting on getting a job! With my insistence, they'll have to hire me! D: Yeah, you're right! I need to do this! I can do this! And thank you very much, Nep, I appreciate your kind words! Thanks brother, I appreciate your support very much! *Hugs.* ^_^ Thanks, friend, I am grateful for your words! I just need to weather the storm, so to speak! And hey, if you ever need to talk about what's got you down, you can PM me, ya know? Yeah, I need to be straight with Karla! I don't want the "What If?" thought gnawing at my head when I can just tell her! I have to let this out of my chest, and even if she doesn't feel the same way for me, at least I'll feel relaxed and satisfied knowing that I didn't remain silent about my feelings for her, ya know? I just really hope I can get the chance to see her in person at least one more time before she leaves! If I can't tell her in person how I feel, the second best way is by phone, though I'd really prefer if it were in person, ya know? X_X And yes, I'm always helping out around the house, and my parents know that I'm doing my best to get a job! I'm 21 by the way, since you asked. And well, I've been depressed at times at not getting a job, but my parents always support me, and they tell me to keep hanging in there, ya know? I'm fine with any job as long as I get paid! I want to be able to help my parents with their bills, and I want to be able to save money for my goals! I need to keep moving forward, even if frustration comes in the way! But yeah, I hope I can get the job, and the girl! X3 And you're right! A few years from now, I'll probably look back at this as a life-strengthening experience, ya know? We're not very lucky and stuff seems to break all the time; our dishwasher just broke a few days ago. And right now, I'm the only one in college. My brother plans on graduating high school next year, and is hoping to get a scholar ship. And yeah, we just gotta keep on looking and hopefully we'll both get an awesome job that we enjoy and pays decently and has nice, friendly coworkers. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Aw, well hey, keep your spirits up and don't give up! Things may be looking grim and bad now, but I'm sure that solutions to your problems will come in due time! You just have to keep it together and keep studying, and try and help your parents out with things as much as you can! But yeah, let's hope we get some jobs soon!
