xXMikey1stXx 206 Posted May 19, 2016 Well wait till frozen, and big hero 6 is shown on TV commercials. Or even David Letterman playing it. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted May 20, 2016 Well it's a pretty big game, odds are they're going to push marketing on this thing like crazier than any other previous title. Plus the objective lately has been to attract new fans anyway, so the marketing strategy will likely have that in mind. But yeah, as soon as they get Frozen in there, everyone is going to suddenly realize that KH exists. The Frozen crowd will know....they'll just know......we must be prepared........winter is coming............ o___o""""" 4 xXMikey1stXx, EchoFox23*, The Transcendent Key and 1 other reacted to this
KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted May 20, 2016 Frozen can't be assumed to be in there. There is a chance and if it is, then I see that attracting new fans. 1 Kingdomhe reacted to this
Moochieh32 676 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) My cousins hate the series, and they're into the Musically crap. I tried to play it with them but they're very stubborn They like games though. Edited May 20, 2016 by Moochieh32
WakelessDream 2,286 Posted May 20, 2016 Kingdom Hearts has always attracted different people for different reasons. Some for the Disney aspects some for other elements. So I think it would be pretty much a given that it might attract new fans based on having well known Disney movies like Big Hero 6 in it. As for celebrities playing it, of course if the game gets recognition from well known people some might be more inclined to pick it up even if they weren't fans before. I think that would be pretty normal. 1 Christmas Past reacted to this
Awesome Sauce 634 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) Can't wait for thousands of new fans to be confused upon inmediately starting the game and rush to the internet to complain about the "confusing plot". I need to save popcorn for that. Edited May 20, 2016 by Awesome Sauce 3 Kingdomhe, Seyin95 and roxas_meatloaf reacted to this
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted May 20, 2016 Well, I'm sure many Big Hero 6 fans will get drawn into the game, and if Frozen gets included, then there's gonna be lots of more curious gamers wanting to find out what Kingdom Hearts is about! And well, given the flashy gameplay and gorgeous graphics and whatnot, I'm sure that KHIII will haul in quite an insane amount of new fans! I'm sure that the marketing for this game will be constant once its near release!
Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted May 20, 2016 yea it'll attract them and then scare them right off when it dumps a ton of exposition on them at once. idk why SE are trying to bring in new fans when this is the final installment in the saga and the plot is going full speed ahead. if they really want to attract new fans they could always port the HD collections to PS4. that at least gives new fans a chance to try and understand what's going on. 2 HeyMouseSayCheese and DaxovanHearts reacted to this
HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted May 20, 2016 I dunno, KH has a reputation among video games as having a ridiculously dense and hard to understand plot, and people who already aren't into games wouldn't care for pretty obvious reasons. I doubt a new game that promises to add even more plot will get any gamer who's not already a fan terribly excited. That said, if SE is actually transparent about development for KH3 and they show off the game as it's being made, maybe even release a demo for once, like how they're doing for FFXV, it could get gamers interested. That method sure made me interested in FFXV. I just don't see how it could attract non-gamers.

RuDoe Ry 139 Posted May 21, 2016 Square just has to market and advertise for once.
Seyin95 175 Posted May 21, 2016 Everything in life relates to money. Disney is a huge company with rich properties. You're right add Frozen and you'll attract a certain demographic. It's also one reason I refuse to rule out Star Wars appearing; it wouldn't make sense to potentially turn down a fan base of that magnitude; even if you only add a small percentage to sales. Whilst the majority of us I hope are here for the plot; the gameplay; the aeries overall, there are many people who'd play the game for a specific property. Also worth adding; Final Fantasy attracts people and when ( not a matter of if) FFXV does well; then newcomers might want to see Noct etc again and come to KH. Same with Iconic characters such as Kefka, if I didn't know about KH and was a new comer and was aware Kefka was a boss etc I'd be curious too. Whilst we might get a few odd surprises from character inclusion to world selection, I am fully expecting Square to choose money making properties to increase the odds of increasing sales. So with E3 around the corner and potentially more info......
