Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted May 4, 2016 Welcome one and all to the 'actual' official KH13 Movie Night! Some of you may be familiar to a fun but brief event I did over the summer two years ago where we would go inside a chat room and watch a lovely movie. Sadly it was stopped, but I've asked lovely Flaming Lea and I decided to give this thing another go~! Here's how it's going to work. Every Friday at 12:00am EST at Midnight, I will post a link to a chatroom (before it was tinychat but I found better sites to use) where we will all meet up. Here, I or any 'Ushers' I will appoint will play movies that have been uploaded to YouTube. No pirated movies or anything is allowed. Only things that have been uploaded onto YouTube. Before every Friday before Movie Time, I or another Usher will call a vote on what movie to watch on that Friday from suggestions from you guys and take suggestions for regular videos. These movies could be Pokemon movies, or Sonic movies, anything you'd like’ it doesn't even have to be a movie. During Holidays a playlist will be created and played to watch a series of YouTube videos centering around that Holiday. Because Summer is coming up, feel free to suggest summer related videos like ‘Surfing Fails’ etc. Give all your suggestions and I'll definitely add it to the list! We will also have themed nights, revolving around a certain theme so I'll talk to my fellow Usher friends and Admins here to pick a fun theme! Now, I'm gonna explain a few things. Ushers- I will pick a few lovely people here on KH13 to be second in command and whatnot. Basically Admins. As we all have our own lives to attend to, sometimes I can't attend a Movie Night. Plus, it's more fun if this event is a community run event no? Also, I am working in the mornings now, so I will be unable to stay up late when I have work. As a result, I will not be able attend certain movie nights since I have to work the next day at times. As a result please understand and be nice to the Ushers ya? Time Zones- because we all live in our own time zones, many of you will not be able to make it to Movie Night because it's 12am EST. Since this isn't fair and no fun, if anyone wants an alternative Movie Night can take place at a time convenient to those who can't make it due to time zone issues. (If anyone wants to volunteer go ahead!) I will need some Users for the alternate movie night and a first in command for that alternate movie night. 'Movie Night?'- Despite this event being called Movie Night, not all that we watch will actually be movies. Sometimes we may all want to watch cutscene movies of a video game, or funny Lets Plays or even funny reaction videos or fail compilations. As a result, feel free to suggest anything you'd like! After we watch a main movie, we can always watch extra videos that are suggested in the chatroom. 'I don't want to watch that'- There are going to be times where there's a video or movie we don't want to watch. If you don't want to watch what is on, don't watch it~! You don't have to force yourself to watch something you don't want to watch. Feel free to leave and come back after it's done, or come back next week. There's many reason why someone doesn't watch to watch something. It's no big deal! This goes for Ushers too. There may be a time I may not want to watch something as well. If a majority of you guys don't want to watch something, we can change it so don't worry. Here are the rules; -No arguing -No spamming chat -No changing or pausing the movie/video without permission from an Usher -No demanding to change a video if you're the only one who doesn't want to watch it. -No movies/videos that are graphic/heavy in violent or sexual themes. Obviously this varies, so if you're unsure if the video you want to suggest is okay, just suggest it anyway! The worst we could say is no! -Unfamiliar videos/movies must be reviewed if there's questionable content in it. -Keep it PG-15 folks. If you wouldn't show your grandma or watch it in school, then odds are it's probably a no. (Feel free to suggest it just in case!) -No weird side of YouTube. Just saying this right now. Don't be that person. -No fanwars. Don't insult someone just because he/she doesn't want to watch your video. This is a friendly community. -MythicsApprentice is awesome This thread will be the hub for movie nights, to make sure you follow this thread! I will post the links to each movie night in this thread and I will also post it in statuses on here. Feel free to give suggestions for what you'd like to watch in this thread prior to movie night. If it's during go ahead and say it in the chatroom. Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted May 4, 2016 Aww, was MythicsApprentice meant to be me?! Okay, even if it's not, this is a great idea and I'm psyched that you're doing this! Is this that big super secret surprise you had for the summer that you were talking about? ; ) On the downside, I probably will not be able to make it for midnight showings, so if we could alternate movie nights with earlier showings once in a while that would be sweet, and I would try to join once in a while.
