- Ruddy Infratel, currently fending off Draksis with the armies of Cosmos and Chaos traitors -

 

Ruddy ground against the harsh, rocky terrain, miffed that his plan hideously failed to act against the spiritual presence of his shadowy adversary.  He rose with a huff and found that the battlefield had changed:  where there was once one enemy there were now two, and a shadow dragon at that.  Ruddy cursed his luck.  Now he was up against a creature with both of his least favourite attributes:  (1) it was a dragon, and (2) it had dark magic.

 

"Thanks, mate and fey creature, but I don't require help or healing.  Not right now, anyway," Ruddy commented whimsically towards Ven and the little fairy that plopped on his shoulder.  "Others need your assistance while I deal with this troublesome thing."  He pointed towards the vortex Draksis had made beforehand.  " 'Tis time to crush this maelstrom!"

 

With Draksis concentrating his ill intent on the rest of Cosmos' party of heroes and even some of the traitors of Chaos, Ruddy piled most of his concentration on the dark, swirling vortex.  He feared that the worst it would do would not be drain everyone's energy but Draksis' own, but rather explode in a violent manner or feed Draksis to greater levels of power, and with everyone focused elsewhere it would be good to defuse.

 

With sharp, swift sweeping motions (after depositing the fairy somewhere safe, Ruddy used a technique called Cleaving Arms of the Windfolk, an antiquated battle dance of sizable strength if uninterrupted and more of a call to arms to the air of the world than actual magic.  Great currents of wind sliced through the corruptive vortex, either disrupting it from feeding for a short time or nullifying its effects.  Furthermore, he used Pounding Palm of the Windfolk, which slammed the dark energies into the ground where it would not harm anyone.

 

He glanced down to his hand, beads of sweat dotting his brow from the exertion of the battle dance.  He remembered why it was considered archaic:  it was more draining physically than magic would from his reserves.  Nevertheless, it was effective, and probably would be beneficial in the end.

 

After all of that, he laced together Haste and Float spells so that he could fly at great speeds, if need be.  Draksis or his pet might have taken notice of his actions, and it was imperative to keep a low profile so that he and the others could take down both.

 

 

- Gau, currently with Locke near Melmond -

 

Gau walked on with Locke beside him, the path trailing on and on as daybreak illuminated the world.  The youth felt discouraged at the thought and imagined it would be far better to take the needles out now rather than wait, but the shrill intensifying sound of a teleportation or warp cut short his mental processes.  Out of a portal stepped a young woman with a long, resplendent robe tore out of a portal with a face somewhere between fear and calm.

 

Gau did not know what to do, scratching his bushy head of hair with his free hand.  After some thought, he turned towards Locke thinking that he would be better at understanding this predicament and said loudly, "Uwao, look, Locke!  A girl!  You think she would help us or we should help her?  She came through air, so maybe need help."

After Lightning started to walk and rejected his offer, Genesis replied: "Didn't you just listen to what I said?  I didn't come on Johnny's behalf. I came for my own reasons. He didn't seem to care the moment someone challenged him." He then sighed, and continued: "Besides, I doubt Chaos and his warriors will do nothing about you, a Cosmos warrior, residing in their territory. When they find that out, they will attempt to attack you, probably in numbers."

After Mog's spells at Kalameet had no effect, the dragon started spinning, attempting to throw Johnny off, which also gave Mog trouble, who was now on the dragon.

As Kalameet spun, Mog used Jump. While in the air, Mog used Holy, a powerful holy-elemental spell at Kalameet, attempting to wound it. After that, he threw his spear at the Dragon's direction, hoping it would injure it, as the throw can be more deadly than Mog landing with his spear. Mog then attempted to land on the dragon, even though it was spinning, in order retrieve his spear.

(Johnny's landed on the dragon, I'll wait until Scrap posts as Draksis before writing Johnny.)~Cosmos and Corrin, Sanctuary~The pain in Cosmos' chest began to wane and she stood up again, "Thank you. My spirit is once again at ease."Corrin smiled and stood up as well, "I guess we should be glad that we got here on time."Cosmos then turned to Serena, "You said you know two warriors of mine. Aqua and...Ventus?" Cosmos shook her head, "I do not know this Ventus. I did not summon him here."

- Draksis - The Conqueror - Lufenia. Draksis stood still as they all got into position and battle stances, one of which, Johnny changed forms into what looked like a knight's armor. Who soon charged him and collided shields with him. Who Draksis blocked and held back with ease. "You think a fancy armor is going to make a difference?" Draksis questioned him as Elia fired her Dia spell at him, while it did some damage to Draksis, and a Johhny quickly ran off. "Ahh yes, holy magic...I remember when I was weak to it...now its just another energy source to exploit." Draksis spoke as his power flared a bit after the spell. Draksis had fought so much against holy spells, to the point in which even if they did more damage than anything else to him, he'd charge energy quicker as a result.Seeing some spells being thrown at Kalameet made Draksis chuckle. "Do you believe your puny spells will bring down a mighty elder dragon? whose's scales need the finest metal to pierce? foolishness." Draksis spoke to Mog as he was about to attack, but he saw where Johnny had gone with Terra and Link. Prompting Draksis to grab his sword from the ground and dash right into them.Following the dash he followed with a powerful slam of his sword at Terra, with enough force to do some serious damage. "Not so fast...kid." Draksis spoke as he threw an explosive chaos orb at Link as well. Kalameet felt Johnny landing on its back, It was ready to do a flame breath attack as well, However it now had a...guest...even with its Telekinetic powers it'd take a few seconds to knock the man off, beginning to spin around in mid air as spells were being thrown at it from below, to little avail ,really, as It began charging telekinetic force to throw Johnny off. Johhny would find his scales hard to the point of needing quite a good beating to break through, and they also let out a dark aura...well the entire dragon did so anyway.

(Sorry for the wait. Had to do some chores for my mom, again. >~<; ) ~Terra, Link, Ventus and Aqua~ ~Lufenia~after throwing Johnny on the Dragon's head, Terra and Link was attacked by Draksis. Luckily, Link was managed to dodge the dark orb, however, Terra isn't. He screamed in pain as he fell the Rocky ground. "Terra!!" Link shouted at him. Terra holds his hips, grunted painfully. (damn.... I can't.. let him win... and gets a way with.) he thought while standing up, used curaga on him. Link ran quickly to him and asked him. "You alright?" Terra nodded. "Yeah. Don't worry about me, I've face much worse than this." He transformed his Keyblade into some kind of cannon. Link was about to get his bow, but he just remembered, Serena still had his bow and arrows. He facepalmed himself and said. "Dang it, I forget she still has my bow!" After that, He gets his bombs instead. Link ran to Draksis and throw the bombs at him. Terra shoots at the bombs, then it exploded. Terra doubt that explosion will stop the man. Link used his an iron ball (I forget the name) at Draksis."Well, I guess he doesn't need our help." Ven said to Aqua as she watched Ruddy left them. Both of them goes to where Elia at. After that, Ven saw Terra and Link fighting the man in the dark armor. He looks at Aqua and said. "I'll be right back!" "Ven, wait! He's too dangerous!" She was too late to stop him. Ventus used Fire Raid at Draksis's head. "HEY, TRASH CAN!! OVER HERE!! COME AND GET ME!!" he taunted the man. ~Serena and Xion~ ~Sanctuary~"Oh,I see. Hmmm.... he must of came here by himself." She said to the goddess. Xion was bit curious about Serena and asked her. "So, if you're not Cosmos' or Chaos' warriors, then how do... you get here?" Xion Frowned at her, knowing that she not a warrior and can't fight on her own. Pluto barked happily at Cosmos as he begging her to pet him. Serena gasped quietly when Xion asked her. She gets up, cupped her hands together against her chest and said. "I... I was..." She look down and continued. "I was attacked by a man in a... dark armor...." She said as she's trying to remember the man's face.

Now get somewhere safe! Not sure how dragons are around tiny fairies!""Gotcha!" she cried out before darting into Johnny's pouch.~Elia, the White Mage, Lufenia~This was not going to end well.Her Dia spell had failed, and now the armored demon was running after Terra. Elia decided to follow and give chase.Elia keep trying to figure out some sort of way to stop the man, but she was already out of tricks.Until she came into the dark aura.Elia could feel her muscles begin to ache and grow heavy.She managed to lift her staff, "Dispel!" After, Elia followed by slamming her staff on the ground, "Faith!"She could feel her body's strength return and she continued after the armored demon, hammer held out. If anything, it could deal some damage to that armor.(Fire Emblem Awakening reference. Hammers deal extra damage to armored units)~Corrin and Cosmos, Sanctuary~"A man in dark armor..." Corrin pondered to himself. "Like the armored man I encountered in Lufenia?"Cosmos looked to Xion, "Many people, places and creatures of this world were created from the memories of the warriors who are summoned. Perhaps Serena here came from the memory of her friends."~Xehanort, Vanitas and Garland, Kefka's Tower at the Sage's Cave~The Guardian howled in pain at the Thunder attack. It decided it would be better off rejoined with its master. Disappearing into the floor, the Guardian reappeared behind Xehanort."So that's how it's going to be," Xehanort remarked. The Guardian was not one to trifle with, but the clown and maiden had agitated it enough to have it return to him.Vanitas fell back after the shield struck him in face. He called out behind him, "Master! He's too..."Xehanort sighed, "Fine. We switch targets."At that, Xehanort turned to the Warrior and the Guardian grabbed Garland.Garland tried to struggle against the Guardian, "What is this demon?"The Guardian threw Garland at the clown, and Vanitas teleported above the clown and came down with his Keyblade.Xehanort saw the Warrior's blade glow with light and remarked, "You will not find me as easy of an opponent as my apprentice."At that, Xehanort charged forward at the Warrior, his body covered with fire.~Lightning, Mirage Sandsea~"For the love of..." Lightning began to say, turning on her heels to confront the man who still hounded her. She got as up in his face as she could, "Are all of you warriors so goddamn dense? I wasn't summoned by Cosmos. I'm not supposed to be here. Somehow, someway, I got here and everyone I run into wants me to fight with them or fight for them." Lightning backed off the man and looked down, "Whatever. I'm done fighting for your precious goddess."

Wol terra and kefka at kefkas tower

 

The clown was suprised to see Garland tossed at him "watch it ya tin metal trash can! Kefka then was slightly caught off guard by vanitas kefka took the blow but Terra used her flood magic to propel vanitas upwards then followed suit with her tornado magic to trap him. Kefka staggered from the double team of the guardian and Vanitas. He launched a chunk of ice towards Vanitas hoping to shatter it into the boy. The warrior finally face to face with the darkness he tracked. " Finally you face me and you better be because I will hold nothing back! His sword shining even brighter he entered his ex mode his body covered in an aura of light charged right back at xehanort full force

Lightning's words greatly interested Genesis, wondering into thoughts about them: "She wasn't summoned by Cosmos? Interesting...if she was summoned by someone from this world, then there is more for this war than meets the eye..."

He then talked back to Lightning:  "Sorry about that. It was a misunderstanding. But aren't you interested about it? This means that someone other than the gods wants you here...and the person is either someone from this world, or someone from your world who doesn't want you to be there, for whatever reason. And I do have a question- what do plan on doing when you will reach the place you are walking to? What will you do if Chaos attempts to recruit you, and tortures you in order to reach that goal?"

-Elsa and Lisa, northeast of Lifespring Grotto-Lisa looked warily to her mother, who nodded and said, "It's alright, Lisa. He's a good guy. I can tell." The little girl hesitantly got up from her mother and walked toward the stranger, letting him pick her up. Elsa listened to what Squall said to her and replied, "Well... It was from a very bad man named Xathnan. I don't know much about him, but he threatened to hurt my child and i couldn't have that, so i just ran with my child. I kept running until i fell. ~Terra, Ventus, Aqua and Link~ ~Lufenia~After Terra's Keyblade turned back to normal, he saw Ven joined the fight. He worried for him that Draksis will kill him. Ventus activated Cyclone as he attack the man. "C'mon, is that all you got?" He continued to taunt him as Aqua ran into the battle. "Ven please, me and Terra don't want to lose you, again..." "Look Aqua, you have to accept it that I'm helping you, Terra and everyone else! Just like Johnny said, we're in a war and we can't let Chaos or Xehanort win! I'm not a little kid anymore! Just trust me, please.." He said with a determined look on his face. She frowned after what he just said. Link used his bombs at Draksis, then dodge roll and slash his back.

"Hmm..." Corrin thought to himself. "If he's not the man from Lufenia, then he's no one I know. I hope Chaos didn't summon him."
Cosmos nodded, "Indeed. Such a man does not sound like he would be a noble adversary."
Corrin then addressed Xion's question about Serena, "Well, it seems to me like Serena seems to hold a powerful light. I don't know what anyone could do with it, but its power could be manipulated."
Cosmos looked to Corrin and let out a small laugh, "You are very wise beyond your years, Corrin. Indeed, Serena does hold a great power. The forces of evil could easily use such power for twisted desires." Cosmos looked to the blonde maiden, "What else do you know of this man? What could he desire?"

Lightning stopped cold in her tracks.
This guy is good.
Lightning turned to look at Genesis, "Honestly, I don't know. I'm just looking for a way to get back to the mainland. Maybe I could find some sort of teleport stone." Lightning then thought to the man's arrival. He could fly. Maybe he could help her.
"You wouldn't by any chance be willing to give me a lift back to Cosmos' domain, would you?" Lightning said, walking back to Genesis.

~Laguna and Squall, northeast of Lifespring Grotto~

Laguna laughed at the little girl as he swept her up in his arms, "Hey, hey! You're a little cutie, aren't ya?"
Squall thought a bit about what Elsa before addressing her, "It's not a problem. We've got to save and protect the people in this world. No one else will."
Squall walked over to Laguna and motioned to him to have a quick conference.
The two talked in quiet whispers, so that Elsa could not hear.
Squall began, "She says that Xathnan did that to her."
"Xathnan?" Laguna was surprised to hear that name. "The guy Cosmos told us was on our side?"
Squall nodded, "Yeah. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm not if we can completely trust her or this Xathnan guy."
"Well, what do you propose we do?" Laguna asked, knowing Squall had some sort of idea what to do next. Mercs like him did have that tendency.
Squall looked up and over to Elsa, asking her, "Where exactly are you planning on going? We'll go with you, but we just need to be sure."

- Draksis - The conqueror - Lufenia

 

 

Ruddy's attempt at disabling the vortex proved partially succesful, the vortex's power diminished for a time, but not before letting out a small shockwave of energy from the hit, possibly causing damage to those nearby it (no one, but ruddy, possibly : P ) 

 

"You have faced worse than me? then why is it that you were damage by that so easily?" Draksis openly taunted Terras as Link began throwing bombs at him, albeit it allowed Terra to escape, it didn't do much to Draksis aside from creating smoke around him, as he shielded himself from the explosions, link quickly followed up with his iron ball, which managed to hit Draksis head on, knocking him back a small distance but not really doing any noteworthy damage to his armor overall.

 

What followed after was...an annoyiance really, a boy throwing fiery keyblades at his head non stop, the first two hit, to marginal effect, other than just make Draksis's helmet vibrate from the impact, which was kind of annoying in a sense as it could disorient him. But Draksis quickly caught on. Shielding himself with his sword from the raid and coming closer, Link threw more bombs at him. And attempted to slash his back, Which actually worked as Link's sword slashes at Draksis, which was  blocking Ven. Not only that, Elia's hammer hit him on his side too, staggering him somewhat.

 

"Annoying." Draksis spoke as he began to gather energy around him, quickly dashing towards Ven, and ending up behind the boy, And beside Aqua who was at Ven's side, who has not attacked him yet, and as such, Draksis did not see fit to try think of her as a threat, Until she attacked first.

 

Taking the moment's opportunity he attempted to Grab Ven's hand as the boy was probably still doing his raid, if he managed to catch Ven's hand, he would follow up by throwing him straight towards Link. And sending out a dark orb towards  the two with his free hand. 

 

He turned his head to Aqua, looking at her with no emotions, well he was a spirit inside an armor, he could not express emotions even if he tried. "Do not interfere if you do not wish to get hurt...woman." He spoke before grabbing his sword and dashing at Elia. Following up with a crushing downward slash at her. 

 

 

Kalameet felt both the excalibur and Mog's spear damage his scales, albeit not piercing them entirely, they managed to go through somewhat. Weakening his scales, However Kalameet had already finished charging his telekinetic attack to shake Johnny off. Kalameet's eye began to glow very brightly, as a blast of energy was released from it, covering a large area around it and the air, anyone caught in the blast would find themselves being lifted into the air, alongside any belongings they were holding. As Kalameet had now grabbed hold of them. 

 

Quickly pushing anyone unlucky enough to be caught in the blast (only Johnny and mog, and mog might not have been hit at all, up to you Shun, that and Johnny suffered no damage from the blast, it was purely a means of Kalameet getting him off). Kalameet quickly began charging his dark fire breath into a fireball, firing it at Ruddy's location, the fireball would explode violently, covering a large area, possibly damaging others in the blast.

His sword shining even brighter he entered his ex mode his body covered in an aura of light charged right back at xehanort full force

~Garland, Vanitas, and Xehanort, Kefka's Tower~Garland collided with a wall, scoffing at Kefka as he got up, "Damned jester! Do not assume fault in me!" Garland then charged at the Guardian, who met his attack by blocking his massive sword with both hands.Vanitas, cast into the ceiling after the water spell tossed him up, barely managed to cut the Blizzard spell while caught in the tornado. Vanitas tried to focus on the girl. Taking her out would make this fight a lot easier for him."Try this," Vanitas said as he fired a beam of blue energy at the girl, hoping to strike her and incapacitate her."Come at me then," Xehanort taunted, meeting the Warrior's charge with a wall of Dark energy. "Your petty light means nothing to me. In the end, all hearts return to the darkness." Xehanort cracked a smile, "Even yours."

We've got to save and protect the people in this world. No one else will."Squall walked over to Laguna and motioned to him to have a quick conference.The two talked in quiet whispers, so that Elsa could not hear.Squall began, "She says that Xathnan did that to her.""Xathnan?" Laguna was surprised to hear that name. "The guy Cosmos told us was on our side?"Squall nodded, "Yeah. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm not if we can completely trust her or this Xathnan guy.""Well, what do you propose we do?" Laguna asked, knowing Squall had some sort of idea what to do next. Mercs like him did have that tendency.Squall looked up and over to Elsa, asking her, "Where exactly are you planning on going? We'll go with you, but we just need to be sure."

Lisa giggled happily, trusting the new face well. Elsa felt glad that they could help her. But when they backed up to whisper something, she could barely hear a single thing they said. The only one who could hear them was Lisa, though she didn't really understand what was going on. When Squall asked Elsa where she was going, she said, "Well, i was going with a friend to find a village around here, but i got separated from him when i ran from Xathnan..." While it wasn't a lie, it wasn't entirely true. She ran because Cosmos and Noel lied to her, in her point of view, about Xathnan being on the good side. He was the man who had clearly threatened her child. It was something she could never forgive. Not now, not ever. I bet he's enjoying the pain i'm in right now..., she thought, feeling nothing but hatred for him.

"You wouldn't by any chance be willing to give me a lift back to Cosmos' domain, would you?" Lightning said, walking back to Genesis.

Genesis was satisfied when Lightning changed her mind: Well, she should safe, for now.

"Sure, I don't mind. Hold tight" He said, as he summoned his wing, scattering black feathers all over the place. He then took Lightning and flew back to Cosmos' domain.

As he reached there, he noticed Cosmos and some other warriors who were in Lufenia, landing there.

"Sorry to interrupt. She wanted to come here."

Mog managed to land on the dragon and held his spear, the throw caused some damage on the dragon's scales.

However, the dragon released a blast of energy from it, lifting Mog along with his spear and summonstone and then pushed him.

Mog suffered no damage from the blast, but was still in the air, so he used his spear to land safely, trying to land on Draksis, in order to damage him, attempting to take advantage of  the dragon's blast.

After the attack, regardless if Draksis dodged it or not, Mog quickly used Jump, got up on the dragon's back, attempting to make his spear stick on the dragon, hoping it would damage it further.

 

(in short, Mog landed with his spear at Draksis' direction, then immediately used Jump to get on Kalameet's back, trying to damage its scales)

After being thrown to Link, Terra manage to ran to them and reflected the orb at Dragon. Link grumbled in pain as he fell down with Ven. Aqua gasped when Draksis throws Ven at Link. She got angry at Draksis. "No!" Luckily, Terra save them from the dark orb. Aqua was relieved that They're okay. She look at the man and said. "I'm not weak as you think!" He slashed his sword against the ground sending beams of light that slowly tracked xehanort and continued to charge xehanort.

He had kept his cool watching everything unfold that had happened. He wasnt deployed like the other chaos warriors. Chaos had kept him in reserve for when the time came and his skills were needed. "So things are looking gloomy yea? All these traitors. You sure know how to pick them huh Chaos?" he smirked. "Anyhow xathnan betraying you was a heavy loss. Do you think dragon guy can handle him alone?

A red and orange-ish hair man with a black armor approach outside of the tower as he cracked a smile. Before he's about to go inside, he saw several people fighting each others. He chucked quietly and a dark aura glowing around on his hand. "I would joined," after that, he disposed the aura and continued. "But, let them have their fun." He decided to wait until the battle is over. He chucked again and was thinking about her. (you cannot hide from me, child. I'll will find you...") he thought about the girl in the white dress, laughing as she believes that she'll be safe with Cosmos' warriors. He leaned into the wall with his back and crossing his arms.

That turn was more than enough to make the Warrior's wave of light strike Xehanort, sending him upwards.Xehanort fell to the ground and looked to the Warrior, "Your precious light...will be consumed!" He began firing a volley of dark blasts at the Warrior, sending them all around him.~Chaos and Xemnas, Edge of Madness~Chaos looked down to Xigbar, "Enough talk of traitors. I choose ones who are powerful. They fall and I can correct them. This much I knew of the war going in."Xemnas appeared at the top of the steps, "Chaos, I was unable to stop the warriors at Elfheim."Chaos looked over to Xemnas, "Indeed, but unlike Caius and Mateus, that failure was not your own. A being like the Genie does not make this war an even playing field."Xemnas looked up to meet Chaos' eyes, "Then what do you ask of me, my..." ~Cosmos, Corrin, Lightning and Sora, Sanctuary~"Ganondorf..." Cosmos mulled over the name. "That name does not sound familiar to me.""I..." Corrin began to say, struggling to think of the man through his memories. "I seem to remember a man by that name. A dark king, bent on taking over a kingdom..."This was quickly interrupted by Genesis and Lightning's arrival.Lightning's feet splashed the water as she tried to stop her forward momentum."Well, that's one way to get around," Lightning said as she stopped and turned to Genesis. "Thanks for bringing me here. I mean it. Are you going to go back to Johnny and his merry band?"Meanwhile, Sora had started to make his way north after being left behind when the other warriors had left for Lufenia to chase after Elsa's kid.Sora had noticed the man in the red coat fly back overhead, carrying someone new. A pink-haired lady.Sora ran back to Sanctuary, following the duo."Hey!" Sora called out to Genesis. "You left me behind!" Sora then noticed the others by Cosmos, none of whom he recognized. He decided to introduce himself, "Oh, hi! My name's Sora!"~Vanitas, Garland and Xehanort, Kefka's Tower~The smoke from the explosion had barely cleared when Vanitas again was struck, this time by a strange magical attack that cast Vanitas downward.At least now he was free from the tornado.Vanitas scowled and shouted at the clown, "You and your damned puppet!" He disappeared into the floor and then reappeared behind the girl, holding his Keyblade in front of her. "Go ahead, try to hit me now."Garland still struggled with the Guardian, but laughed at Vanitas' comment. He then shouted to Xehanort, "How ironic that your puppet complains of someone else's!"Xehanort turned and shouted to Garland, "You stay out of it!" That turn was more than enough to make the Warrior's wave of light strike Xehanort, sending him upwards.Xehanort fell to the ground and looked to the Warrior, "Your precious light...will be consumed!" He began firing a volley of dark blasts at the Warrior, sending them all around him.~Chaos and Xemnas, Edge of Madness~Chaos looked down to Xigbar, "Enough talk of traitors. I choose ones who are powerful. They fall and I can correct them. This much I knew of the war going in."Xemnas appeared at the top of the steps, "Chaos, I was unable to stop the warriors at Elfheim."Chaos looked over to Xemnas, "Indeed, but unlike Caius and Mateus, that failure was not your own. A being like the Genie does not make this war an even playing field."Xemnas looked up to meet Chaos' eyes, "Then what do you ask of me, my..." Xemnas shuddered at the thought, "...lord?"Chaos gave a crooked smile, "Cosmos' warriors and the traitors have gathered at Lufenia, but one of my forces has been fighting them. I need you to go to Cosmos' domain and track down her other warriors."Xemnas nodded, "It shall be done." Xemnas then turned to Xigbar, "And what do you intend to do, Xigbar? I thought I knew you better than to stand by as battle raged on."(Will wait to post for Johnny and Elia)

~Xion and Serena~ ~Sanctuary~"I... never heard of that name before..." Xion Frowned when she place her hand on her left arm. Before Serena was about to ask Corrin, Two familiar people just landed next to the group. Serena look at Genesis and Lighting and said. "Oh, you're here. What happened to Johnny and the others? Are they alright?" She was scared and worried for them. After a boy approach them, at first, Serena was frightened of him, believing that he's Vanitas. However, when she look at him again, she noticed that he's completely different from Vanitas. instead of having black hair and Yellow eyes, The boy has Brown hair and blue eyes. his behavior is different too, instead being cruel and heartless, He's cheerful and kind. After Sora introduced himself, She gasped and shocked when he said about his name. "Wait, you're Sora?! The boy who saved all the worlds?!" She smiled as she continued. "It's really nice to meet you! I heard stories of you from my mother's friends!" She shook his hand with both of her hands. Xion was shocked when she finally meet him in person. "Sora?" Serena was ashamed of herself when the way she behaves to him. She took her hands away, then she apologize and bow down continually. "I'm so sorry about that. Please forgive me." Xion giggles at her and started to think. (if he's here, is it really possible.... that Roxas is here, too?) her thought was interrupted by Pluto's barking. He jumped on Sora, begin to licking his face happily.

- Ruddy Infratel, currently fighting Draksis and his pet -

 

Ruddy was caught quite unawares when the shockwave burst forth from the dark vortex.  Thankfully he was far enough to not withstand too much injury, but he certainly could have been farther.  The corrupting magics left a number of dark burns on exposed skin, whereas on his already ragged cloak he did not suffer any further noticeable damage.

 

"Clever girl," he complimented, grinning through the slight pain as practically the entire world started to fight Draksis and his pet.  It was amazing to see one person fend off so many, and the secret to this spiritual form tantalised him so much that he licked his dark-burnt lips.  With that kind of power, he could become that much closer to his longtime goals of perfection and true immortality.  Even twelve centuries of on-and-off fighting experience could not match the damage such a man, if he can still be considered a man, was able to wield.

 

Shortly thereafter, the dragon let fly one or both of its assailants -- it was difficult to tell at the distance and with the white teddy bear (Mog) matching the sky--and launched a menacing fireball in his direction.  Not much could have been done regarding them, but the fireball was easy to deal with.  Utilising the enhanced speed and levitation, he sped from the ground and into the air with a rush of wind, spiralling away from the fireball at a frenzious pace.  Once the fireball had struck the ground, he twirled mid-flight to launch a swift, powerful gust of wind to counteract some of the explosion, or at least push the majority (all of it in his case) away from him and some of the others.  He needed them alive to get to Draksis, and to get to Draksis to ascend to near godhood.

 

In the meantime, he prepared to activate the charm around his neck once more, another short burst of energy to use Enaero again and disrupt Draksis' armour, or maybe Kalameet's dragon scales if it weren't impervious to imperiling spells.  Magic poured into his amulet swiftly as his concentration built, one hand on it and the other pointing up to the sky in hipster fashion.  It would take some time to focus, but he hoped his actions would be less visible to both assailants now that he was airborne.

--Noel -- Lifespring Grotto--

It took Noel a moment to process Xathnan's words.  People could certainly change, that much was true.  He just never saw it to be true yet, regardless of how much he wished it.  Noel barely nodded, sheathing his sword and turning to walk in the general vicinity.  He let out a long sigh, resting his hands on his hips as he gazed out at the glistening water.  "I'll trust you,"  Noel said at last.  "If what you say is true, then I could definitely use your help.  First, though, we need to get out of here."

 

Painfully his thoughts strayed to Elsa, thinking about the terms on which they parted ways and how she could be doing now.  The woman had been very distraught, and, while she was indeed a fighter and survivor, he couldn't help but wonder how she would fare without him.  True, she had made it quite clear she wanted nothing more to do with him ever again, it still pained him.  For some reason he had genuinely cared for her and wanted her to be safe and happy.  Perhaps a part of her reminded him of Serah . . . another friend he'd failed to save.

 

--Locke and Schala-- Near Giant's Cave?

A weary sigh escaped the treasure hunter, and he'd nearly fallen over when Gau moved from their happy positioning of supporting one another.  His attention was immediately arrested by the young woman that was approaching them, his expression apprehensive.  Of course she appeared harmless, but most of the great assassins did.  For all he knew she could be a part of the Warring Triad or something (his mind sometimes jumped to the most ridiculous of conclusions).

 

Schala blinked, watching as a feral youth with a grassy mane seemingly referred to her with his equally rough-looking companion.  After observing them more carefully, however, it seemed that both were indeed worn, perhaps from traveling for quite some time.  There was also notably dried blood upon Locke's clothing that she took notice to, and she couldn't help noticing Gau seemed injured along one of his sides in like.  "Um, excuse me," she said, voice soft as she rushed over to them.  "Maybe you could help?  You see, I am trying to avoid someone who wants to harm me, and--oh!  Goodness me, what ever happened to you two?"

 

Indeed, the two were rather injured, and it appalled the young woman to see them in such a state.  The blue-haired mage knelt before Gau, offering him a gentle smile as her pale-blue eyes shifted to his.  "May I?" she inquired, extending a palm to reach for Gau's hand.

 

The treasure hunter, with his very keen instincts, snatched Gau away by the shoulders before he could even attempt to accept her invitation.  "Don't listen to her, Gau.  I've seen her before.  She was there with the Chaos warriors during the destruction of Melmond.  She's nothing but a witch trying to trick you."

 

--Caius -- Whisperwind Cove--

A deep sigh escaped Caius as he stood rooted on the spot.  A gentle breeze kissed his face as he overlooked a dark, barren land below.  The ground was hardly recognizable from where he stood, but he liked it that way.  It gave him a sense of emptiness and control, two emotions which he heavily craved now more than ever.

 

If there was anything that could heavily eat at him it would be remorse.  Yes, the dark guardian was filled with the raw emotion, to the point which threatened to overwhelm him.  That was why he had to come out here, to this spot.  Yes . . . her spot.

 

Many a time he would find her sitting on that very cliff, singing to herself as she would watch the sunset.  Often he would stand a short distance away, smiling, watching her be her childlike self before her life, as always, was cut tragically short.

 

Why, he couldn't help asking himself in the bitter darkness, was life always so unfair?  Why did the innocent always have to suffer and endure hardship?  If only he could have taken her place he would've died a thousand times for her, but alas he was cursed to his fate, just as she was.

 

But this was Caius' chance.  He was going to set things right.  He tried to bring the end of time before and failed, but now he had a different strategy.  He was going to save her once and for all, but he couldn't do so without Schala.  She was his key in his ultimate plan, even if it meant betrayal to Chaos.  "Just a little longer," he murmured softly, shifting and turning to leave the summit.  "Soon I will save you, and free you, my dear child."

-Elsa and Lisa, northeast of Lifespring Grotto-"It's just swamp? Oh dear... I wish I could tell him." Elsa said, feeling bad that Noel didn't know. Maybe i shouldn't have been so mean to him..., she thought, upset about losing a friend. Hopefully, she could apologize to him if he let her, though she was pretty sure it would be for nothing since he most likely took it hard. Lisa giggled at Laguna, almost wanting to play around with his hair, though she decided against it. "So... Where are we going, my friends?" Elsa asked, wondering about what location to go to.

Xigbar edge of madness"Well see heres the thing. War is ok. I got no problem jumping thru hoops. What do you need me to do? As you know intel is my strong suit." Xigbar scratched the back of his head. He knew old acquaintances of his were on the other side and there was xathnan. He wanted to take him out. "Chaos just say the word and im gone."Wol kefka and terra at kefkas towerThe jester laughed hysterically. "Is she playing too rough? Don't be a softy! Let's throw him like a rag doll!" Terra cast multiple thundagas at vanitas hoping to knock him back while kefka fired his wibbly wobbly firaga at him. The warrior readied his sheild to block some of the blast while cutting down a few shots but got hit by a few in the back. The warrior brought down to one knee slowly got up scringing. "Was that your best? Disappointing." he then smiled at xehanort his sword brimming with light. "My turn."

Sooner we get there, sooner we can rest and decide what we do next."Squall nodded, "Fine. Let's go."~Chaos and Xemnas, Edge of Madness~"Go with Xemnas. Scout for him," Chaos commanded Xigbar. "Do what you do best and keep your eye open."Xemnas looked to Xigbar as he prepared to open a dark corridor, "Where do you suggest we start, old friend?"~Vanitas, Xehanort and Garland, Kefka's Tower~Vanitas saw the Thunder begin to surround him, as well as the strange Fire spell."If that's how you want to play it..."Vanitas dropped to the lower levels as the fireball came close, letting go of the girl, hoping that the fireball missed him and hit the girl.Xehanort was tossed back by the attack from the Warrior, staggering afterwards and clutching his chest."I'd show you, whelp, if I were not so grossly outmatched and exhausted," Xehanort said, as his attention turned to his Guardian.The Guardian had now been overwhelmed by Garland, who had just taken his second wind."Ha! You are giving up already?" Garland said, as the Guardian flew to Xehanort's side."No, father," Xehanort said, taking a small bow as a dark portal opened behind him. "I'm merely leaving to fight another day and bide my time until I act again." His attention then turned to the apprentice, "Vanitas! We've done enough here."Vanitas ran back up the wall and to the portal, "Gotcha."Xehanort then turned to Kefka as he backed into the now closing portal, "Frankly sir, your use of that puppet disgusts me. A Cosmos warrior used for Chaos..."With that, they were gone.Garland scoffed as he dismissed his sword, "Those two are now enemies to Chaos. They no longer belong to us."~Sora and Lightning, Sanctuary~Sora was taken aback by the girl's sudden approach and her comments, "Whoa! I'm not sure all that's necessary!"This much was true. While the accomplishment was true, Sora had yet to learn to humble himself after failing his Mark of Mastery.Sora looked over and saw a girl who looked like..."Kairi?"Sora was quickly tackled by an all too familiar dog, "Pluto! Where have you been? How'd you get here?"Lightning scoffed at what had just happened, "Of course. We've got another legendary hero here."Sora got up after getting Pluto off him, "Well, I mean, it is true."Lightning laughed, "Name's Lightning, kid."Sora then turned to the others, "And who are you guys?"

She said, and, with Lisa in her arms, quickly ran back in the direction where Noel and Xathnan were. "Noel! Noel!" She shouted, the tears streaming down her cheeks. Lisa was confused as all heck wondering why her mother decided to run from those nice strangers. Please still be there..., Elsa thought, looking around until she saw two figures. She smiled and ran to Noel.
