Something wet was washing down my cheek repeatedly. "Huh?" I mumbled, reaching up and finding my dog, Buttercup. "Ah, Buttercup!" I yelped, wiping my face. I pulled my pillow over my face. "No. I don't want to get up."

 

Her tail thumped against the bed, shaking me until I finally sighed, getting up. "Fine," I sighed, and rubbed her silkly head. "Alright, girl, it's another day. Let's get up and face it,"

 

I trudged back to my room, smiling after a long day with my friends. I curled up on the little pillow-covered ledge beside my window. I swung it open, smiling at the beautiful view of Twilight Town.

 

An odd clicking sounded beside me. I turned, carefully examining my wall. Almost like someone was standing there... I stood up, and before I could tentatively poke the wall, someone stepped from it, dressed so they exactly matched my wallpaper.

 

I opened my mouth to shriek, but they pressed their palm against my lips. "Shh! You're going to get me caught!" The girl snapped. I guessed she was probably a few years older than me, maybe fifteen or sixteen. Seeing my horrified expression, hers softened. "I'm not going to kill you. Relax,"

 

Relax? I thought, almost laughing at the thought. I cringed away, but she opened a portal. I stared at the corner of my room, now a swirling hole of purple and black. "Hurry up!" She snapped. "We really don't have long now!"

 

I stared at her, uncomprehending. She sighed in annoyance. "Twilight Town doesn't have long. This place is going to be attacked, and I have orders to rescue you." I bit my lip. What? "You, and ONLY you," She stressed, obviously thinking my thoughts would stray to my family and friends.

 

She pulled her hand away, and I stuttered. "W-What are you talking about? Who are you?" I looked between her and the wall. "How did you get in my house? No, scratch that, you made an outfit just to match my wallpaper?"

 

The girl groaned. "Too many questions. Go!" She ordered. I scooped up Buttercup.

 

"Nuh uhh. You tell me what's going--" She stared out my window, and I followed her gaze. I finished almost inaudibly. "...on?"

 

An army of Heartless marched down the street. I winced hearing the first scream. Not thinking, I turned, starting to sprint for my door to help. "What are you doing!?" The girl demanded. "Are you crazy or something? You'd go out in the middle of THAT!?"

 

I glared at her. "Yes! Now get out of my house, and leave Twilight Town, or help me out here!" She reached to stop me, but I shoved past her, and ran for the street. [/align]
