"Don't worry, you'll do fine." Quentin said, he usd reflect to blco they're claws and then used blizzaga to knock it off. The Nova shadow runs towards Chris, but Quentin hit's it from behind repeatively. It colapses to the ground and fades. after twomore minutes the other ones fade, Quentin looks up, the shard seems to be in the upper clocks gears.

"Alright Chris, go with Donald and Goofy to the ship, I'll get it out." Quentin said, Chris nodded and left the clocktower. Quentin started climbing up to the sphere, he reached and tok it in his hand, he was about to go back down when suddenly he felt a smash on his back, his hand slipped and he slid down the tower, he caught the railing, he looked up... It was Vanitas, and he had the shard.

"Looking for something?" He saod, he was tossing it around like a rubber ball. Quentin climbed back up the railing, Vanitas walked to the top of the tower, his keyblade formed in his hands.

"Give it Vanitas, you were no match for me back at the world of departure, and now I'm a keyblade master." Quentin said summoning his keyblades.

"I learned a few things as well, and unlike you... I don't fail in my missions." Vanitas said. Quentin felt ngry,

"Why you-." Their blades clashed, it was a struggle to duel and to stay balanced at the same time, Vanitas tried to kick Quentin in the head, but he ducked and slashed at his mask. he screached, they fought for five inutes until Vanitas then threatenned to throw the shard over the tower, he held it out.

"You want it... come and get it." He dropped it. Quentin activated his armor and jumped. This would seem crazy to someone, but Quentin felt that if he failed... he would fail Leslie. He was falling at tremendous speed, but he caught the blue sphere. He was going down so fast that he couldn't summon his rider, he just had to brace for impact. He looked up, Vanitas dissapeared. He slammed on the ground hard, the pain was unbelieveable, Quentin briefly stood up, but fell back down. The shard was okay. He saw Chris, Donald, and Goofy dropping the ship near his position. He closed his eyes and everything went black...

Quentin heard a voice, it was... familiar... It was Leslie's

 

 

He woke up in a bed, his bones were healed, he looked forward to see he was in the land of departure, in his room. In front of him were Master Eraqus, Chris, Donald and Goofy.

"How long was I out?" Quentin asekd.

"Jee about... one day hyuck." Goofy said counting from his fingertips.

"Good work Quentin, you found the first of the five." Eraqus said smiling. Quentin looked towards Chris...

"Hmm....one shard...well i guess you can check 1 off the list right?" Said Chris

"Seriously we were waiting for you while we were all in...this gummi...ship...why is it called gummi?" Asked Chris

Chris looks at the orb, and stares at it for a while.

"Hey um, quentin you use alot of magic....can you teach me the basic level one spells please?" Asked chris

"I know your in pain and stuff...but when you get better can you!?" Chris said this eagerly

"Wait....by the way....why are we collecting these blue balls of shards again?"

Quentin breathe deeply...

"Follow me." Quentin said leading Chris out of the room.

"My... friend Leslie, she got stabbed by Sephiroth a few days ago. She saved my life." Quentin explained, they were walking through the hallway.

"She then fell into a coma... I... blamed myself." Quentin continued,

"Then I learned from Master Yen Sid, thet if we get the protomateria before Sephiroth, or the organization, or Vanitas get's it... We could wake her up." Quentin said as he walked into Leslie's room, the room was the same as it's always been, except the bed seemed thicker. He looked forward and saw Leslie laid there in a comatose state. She seemed like she was sleeping.

"I... wonder if she can hear me?" Quentin said, he looked down.

"Anyways, the protomateria was destroyed a long time ago and was spread between five worlds. Twilight Town was the first, the next is..." Quentin said while pulling out a list.

"Traverse Town." Quentin finished.

"Anyways, sure. I guess I can teach you some magic, I'll meet you outside." Quentin said, Chris nodded and left the room.

Quentin looked around and saw an old book by the bokshelf, he picked up, and looked at it.

'Daddy said someday when I'm big and grown up, I'll get to help people... I hope so.' It read on the starting page, Quentin realized this was Leslie's journal from when she was four years old.

'Leslie thought Eraqus was her father?' Quentin thought while reading the book. he looked over a few pages until he found the last page of writing.

'Daddy said I have to go away for a while... I asked when I get to see him again, and he said "When you're big and grown up Leslie" I cried'

Quentin setted the book down, he felt tears swelling up.

"Leslie... Why?" Quentin looked at her, he almost thought he got an answer, her hand was openned up. He closed it... it felt oddly warm. He left the room, Donald and Goofy were having a conversation with master Eraqus.

Chris succesfully summons Brightcrest at his grip for the first time ever.

"Well...thats a first..pratice makes better right?" Says Chris

"Alright Master Quentin, can you teach me a healing spell? I give you permission to hit me and show me how cure works" Says Chris

Quentin agrees and gets into a fighting stance

As Chris nods he stays towards his fighting stance

"You can strike at anytime, i mainly focus on defense anyways" Says Chris

Then Quentin makes his move

"Alright..., but call me Quentin... Fire!" Quentin said firing a weak fire spell at Chris, Quentin then explained the spell and show's how to use it. Chris did so and stopped the burning, Quentin then explained the rest of the spells, like Gravity, reflect, Fire, Thunder, and Blizzard, Chris understood this very well. Quentin then taught Chris basic Keyblade dueling.

"... You learn fast, good work Chris." Quentin said.

Chris unlocked the first tier of all spells

"Well we better get going to....Tra..verse....town right?" Said chris

Quentin nodded

"Well lets go!" Said Chris

Chris, Quentin and everybody else got ready to go

They mounted the ship, Quentin looked out the window, Master Eraqus stod outside with a cane, he smiled and nodded. Quentin unlocked the controls and the Gummi-Ship started out of the Land of Departure. The ship flew through the lanes between, Cbriis looked out te window.

"You wanna learn how to create a rider?" Quentin asked. Chris nodded, Quentin explained how to activate the armor and the flyer. After ten minutes of explaining the technique, Quentin openned the latch, he pressed the armor piece, then Silver and green armor apeared around him, he threw his keyblade out to form his rider, he jumped and landed on it. He looked out, they were nearing Traverse town.

"Alright Chris, your turn!" Quentin called out, Chris nodded.

"GASP! Uh.....alright...lets try...." Said Chris nervously

Chris jumps out of the ship. He presses his armor piece, this forms a light blue and white armor, surrounding his body and head.

"AHHH!!!! D;" Screamed Chris

"HERE GOES NOTHING!" Shouted Chris

He summons his brightcrest and attempts to throw it out.

Quentin sees behind him impressed

The Brightcrest forms into a Light blue and white rider.

Chris hops on gripping towards the handles

"TO TRAVERSE TOWN!" Shouted Chris

Both Quentin and Chris depart.

"alright, Donals, Goofy, get the ship to the port, we'll meet you there." Quentin said.

"You can count on us!" The duck queaked. Quentin nodded then he and Chris started they're way towards traverse town. The landed in the first district, (The theme to Traverse town starts pllaying immediately) the refugees here were still busy. The town seeemd improved. Quentin started asking around for a blue shard. Donald and Goofy finally arrived after ten minutes and joined them in they're search. The four splitted up to find anything thet might lead to were the shard could be. But Quentin found nothing, It became night and they ended up at the apartment building, they were spending the night here.

"Hey can I get four rooms for one night?" Quentin asked the receptionist nodded and then counted numbers into the cash register.

"Of course, thet'll be... 900 Munny, but if you add in an extra 100 we'll add in a free breakfast." She said, Quentin nodded and pulled 1000 munny out of his pocket, she then gave them the four keys.

"Alright, we rest, have breakfast then start searching in the moring. Quentin said, the other three nodded and then went to the room they were assigned. Quentin took his hoodied and armor off, it laid on a chair.

"Night... guys." Quentin said to himself, he slowly fell asleep. He started to have a nightmare.

Chris falls asleep not knowing what's going on outside

He falls into a deep sleep

In his dream he is falling....falling...falling....into a sanctuary....

He lands on his feet, and finds himself in a meadow.

"...where am i?" Asked Chris

"Please...choose your speciality" Says a voice in his mind

A sword, a shield, and a wand appears around him on tall pillars.

Chris decides to pick up the shield

"Ah..the shield...the strength of a guardian....you focus mainly on defensive strategies is see...is this your choice?" Asked the voice in his head.

"..Yeah....." Said Chris in his mind

"You have chosen the defense of a guardian...but what will you give in exchange?" Asked the voice

Chris runs towards the sword.

"Will you give up the strength of a warrior? you will be weaker...but you will be a master in defense." Says the voice

"Yes.." Said Chris

"It is decided. You choose the strength of a guardian...but gave up your power of the warrior" Said the voice

"Alright..." Said chris

Chris starts falling and falling down into oblivion....

Then he lands in a dark place.....

As rupert emerged from the light suddenly he found he was in the Land of Departure "what, how on earth did i get here" rupert said as he rubbed his eyes in amazement he remembered that he had that star shaped object in his pocket "hmm i wonder what it is, i think i will ask master when i see him" Rupert headed down the mountain towards the main building but he could feel darkness appearing behind him, rupert turned around suddenly but saw nothing "odd i thought i sensed someone behind me" but as he turned back the feeling appeared again "this is not right" rupert said as he turned around slowly and thats when he saw the mysterious man "ah, who are you?" rupert demanded

"someone like you does not deserve to know, now disappear like the rest of your weak race" the mysterious man said as he summoned two ethereal blade like weapons and lunged towards rupert, before rupert had time to summon his keyblade he was sent flying in to the air than a blue whip wrapped around him and brought him back to the ground with a loud crash

Rupert just managed to get to his feet but was in agony but he suddenly felt the rush of the darkness in his heart flare and he flew towards the mysterious man but left a frozen copy of himself he kept doing this till the mysterious man couldn't move, rupert than lunged and scored a hit than the frozen copies started to move the hit the mysterious man in to the air and when each did one attack than vanished the mysterious man was in perfect position and rupert did the finishing blow and the mysterious man disappeared in to thin air, "now who is weak" rupert said exhaustedly he than saw a keychain and a small green orb " i wonder what this is" but as soon as rupert picked it up the star thing started to glow "no, not now" rupert said but i did nothing and he was off again when he got out of the light he was in Traverse Town

When they arrived all they could see was rumble of th desamated world sora walked forword then spoke "Dam this place has changed alot since my last visit" Joe turned to Sora "What when were you here before" "That time you first disappeared me and riku went to all kinds of world just like this one but Axel hid you well" Stich began to growl joe bent down to him "Hey stich whats wrong" "Ick ick" Stich was pointing into the distance then ut of the dust a bolt of lightning come "Woo whos there" Joe said a voice emitted from the distance "Who do you think you ideat" Joe summoned his keyblade "Vanitus I though Quentin delt with you" "Hu a wickling like that defeat me he was lucky he was able to defeat a pathetic heartless never mind me" "Shut up vanitus he's stronger then you think" "Enough about Quentin I'm here to deal with you two and while i'm at it i might as well kill the blue fur ball to" Stich spoke "Not fur ball Cute and fluffy" Stich said as he picked up a huge steel piller ten times his size "What how can he lift that" Sora spoke while summoning his keyblade "You should never judge anyone by appears Vanitus" "Owe well you still stand no chance against me" Dont be so shore of yourself Vanitus and when where done with you will restore this world to what it use to be and find Terra Aqua And Ventus" "Owe you mean them fools" Vanitus pointed to a tower "Vanitus what did you do to them" "Simple gave them a leason in respect for the darkness" "Vanitus you'll pay for this" "Joe ran at Vantis at lightning speed slicing right through him then sora did the same and finally stich smash the huge metal piller right down on top of vanitus "Not so tuff now are you" "Dont be so shore of yourself Joe" Next second Vanitus struck Sora and Joe from behind leaving only stich standing "Now its your turn fur ball" "No not fur ball Cute and Fluffy" Stich said as he began to run rings around Vanitus "Hold still you little pest" "No" Vanitus began to shot randomly trying to hit stich "Joe nows are chance lets finish vanitus once and for all right here right now" "Ya lets do it" Joe and Sora stud up keyblades at the the ready "Hey Vanitus" Joe yelled "Go to hell" "What" Stich jumped over beside Joe and Sora then both Joe and Sora used there most powerful attck together the two roared "Trinity Limit" There was a bright flash and a roar of pain "Your time is up vanitus now go to hell and take them dam unversed with ya" "No impossible how could i be defeated"

Quentin first saw darkness, then... light. hr lookrf out and saw Ricahard, Chris, Joe, and Yaney, they seemed happy, suddenly he saw great flashes, and darkness clouded up his vision. They're forms chanfed... into thingd thst weren't them. He saw master Xehanort and Eraqus pointing they're keyblades towards Quentin. In the real world, Quentin was tossing and turning, until he suddenly woke up.

"Rupert... Joe... Leslie?" Quentin said to himself, he asked looking at a green charm he found back in Gaia. He looked out the window, the sun was rising high in the sky. Quentin putted thw hoodie on,, and added the armor pieces in on they're rightful places. They all met for breakfast, and then each went into the town to start learning the location, after about an hour, Quentin walked into an alley and saw that... Ruper? Was sitting tere, Quentin quickly woke his friend up.

"Rupert, can ypu hear me, where were you?"

After vanitus disappeared joe ran over to terra and the others to make shore they were okay joe and the others could see they were all uncoiucices sora stitch we need to get them back to the land of departure let master eraquas look after then after that joe carried terra sora carried ven and stich carried aqua joe spoke "How come he gets the light one when hes the one with super streagh" "Stop wiyning joe after all terras your brother" "Ya i know but i wish he would eat less he ways a tone" They all laught When they arrived back at the land of departure they head straight to master eraquas and gave him terra aqua and ventus and then explained want happened after that eraquas told the three to go and get some food so they did when they arrived in the kitchen they saw quentin and the others "hey guys"

Chris looks around in the dark place.

He looks around and looks to the edge...nothing but an abyss

He then sees a girl in a black hoodie right in the center of the area.

"..?"

Chris runs after the girl but she fades away

"She is the one you must save" Said the voice

Chris woke up in disbelief

"Was that Leslie?" Said Chris

Quentin asked, "hmm, oh it you Quentin" rupert said as he woke up "i needed to find somewhere so i could think, in short it is a long story", after rupert explained what happened to him involving the incident at the world that never was, meeting Yen Sid and fighting the mysterious man at the Land of Departure, "it has been hard for me and i think the darkness is slowly taking hold in my heart, i try not to think about it but it does cause immense pain if i am not careful and by the way what happened to you, i last saw you in Radiant Gardens"

Chris -- after listening to Rupert's story -- wondered why darkness is taking over his heart.

" What were you doing by the way? What exactly where you doing at...this....Radian Gardens? Did you provoke the heartless there or something?" Chris Asked

Chris looks away getting unusual headaches

"...."

The headaches get worse and worse by the second

"...Quentin....what's going on?"

Chris falls to the floor in excruciating pain

"Donald, goofy, take him somewhere safe." Quentin said, he then looked to Rupert.

"Rupert, I'll tell you, later after Raiant gardens, me and Joe met up in this space ship, and then made friends with this alien named Stich... Then we went to Gaia, we found Leslie... but Sephiroth came." Quentin's breathing went heavy.

"He put her in a coma, then we went to The land of departure, Joe left, and Eraqus made me a master. He said, if I find these shards of protomateria... Leslie will be alright." Quentin said,

"So I found the first shard, there are five, and they are light blue. There's one in this town somewhere." Quentin said, Rupert listenned intently.

"Would you have any idea where it would be... Rupert?" Quentin asked, he kept thinking back to Leslie.

Chris--with donald and goofy-- kept having massive headaches

".....uhhhhhherrrrrrrhmmmmmm....." Chris moaned

He starting having an image about a 15 year old.

"WHO ARE YOU?????" Asked Chris

The image walks closer to him in his mind

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD.....WHO ARE YOU......"Demanded Chris

The image faintly talks "Get up kid! i'm in your mind cause im your other! NOW GO HELP YOUR FRIENDS! ;D" Said the image

".........WHAT IS YOUR NAME!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY OTHER!? D;" Shouted Chris

"My name? .....well......my name is..." The image stopped

"...the headaches..its gone....who was that...?" Asked Chris

He turned to donald and goofy

"YOU TOO! WHO WAS THAT!? HE'S MY OTHER? WHAT DOES HE MEAN!?" Asked Chris

Rupert shook his head.

"Damn, alright, we might here something at the local tavern." Quentin said, he and Rupert walked into the building they sat at a table. He looked at another table suspiciously, the bartender was whistleing a tune. He over heard talking.

"So Xiggy, Larxene and Lexaeus re al down, whose next?" A man in a black cloak sighed.

"Hopefully no one. As long as we got this shard, she'll never wake, and sephiroth will never complete the materia." The other one said. Quentin approached him.

"It's the kid, RUN!!" Luxord said. He and Demynx ran out of the building, Quentin and Rupert chased them, Quentin saw a gleam in Demynx's pocket, the shard.

Luxord Fled while Demynx kept running, Somehow Rupert dissapeared, so it was just Quentin and Demyx. He ran up a ladder, Quentin followed, they were on top of the buidling near the bell.

"Alright, it's go time." Demyx said summoning a blue Sitar, he tried to slam on the ground and crush Quentin but he was too fast, Quentin got behind him and then slashed hard, Demyx fell to the ground, Quentin caught the shard that fell out of his pocket.

"Alright, you got the shard, let me go." He said, his sitar faded.

"After all your people have done to me, you expect me to let you live?" Quentin asked, his eyes turned yellow. Just then Rupert finished climbing up the ladder.

as rupert got to the top of the ladder "Quentin, calm down, no need to do any thing stupid" rupert called but he saw Quentin's eye were yellow so rupert summoned he keyblade and stopped the attack on Demyx "let him go, you got that shard now leave it, (rupert turned to demyx still blocking Quentin's attack) go now before i change my mind and let him kill you, do you understand" rupert said "y-yes i do, i-I'll go" demyx said as he summoned a dark corridor and left.

joe rubbed his eyes then he saw that quentin and the others were not there "Owe man i'm halusanating again i hate when this happens" Sora turns to joe "Ya but back when that first started happening to ya it saved my life remember it was a halusanation you had but it was of the future remember" "Ya i saw a vision of four darksides attacking you at once so i got riku and we came and helped you out" "excaly if it wasnt for you i'd of been killed" Stich began to growl and sora and joe heard a voice behind them "Remembering old times are you" Sora and joe summoned there keyblades "Marluxia i though you were destroyed" "Owe you should of known i would not be defeated so easyly" Joe and sora summon there keyblades and stich takes out a plasma gun "Now no need for violince i'm only here to pass on a message" "And what would that be" Joe asked "To say thank you thanks to you and all your keyblade friends over the last year you've all destroyed so many heartless that kingdom hearts is ready to over flow" "What no we never even though about kingdom hearts" joe turns to Sora "Sora we have to get the others and the master we have to stop the organization before Xemnas use's kingdom hearts power to take control of all the worlds" "Even if you gather all the others it's to late the entire organization has gained new powers thanks to kingdom hearts we couldnt waste are time fighting you now that we have infanit power" "I'll show you infanit power" Joe runs at marluxia full speed and slices right through him "Not so tough now are ya" "What you though that would hurt me" Marluxia summons his sythe "What" "Joe look out" Joe turns as marluxia gets ready to strike "NO" Stich roars stich jumps at marluxia and grabs hold of his face not letting go "Get off me you insect" Sora Joe get him" Stich says "Sora lets do this" Joe leaps into the air for an air attack and sora goes low both yell at stich to jump and start to shot so he does then both sora and joe use all the streagh on one attack and slice right throw marluxia, Marluxia begins to cough "What but how kingdom hearts gave me all it have to give and still i am defeated by you three impossible" "Not so powerful now are ya marluxia" Joe says as marluxia fades away "Its not over yet there is still many of the organization members reamaining lets see you beat all them" "Just watch us" Joe says as marluxia disappears completly "Joe come on we need to go find Quentin and the others and tell them whats happening" "Ya lets go"

Quentin felt the darkness slowly evaporate.

"Fine Richard, C'mon, let's go." Quentin said, Richard nodded and they were about to leave the building when suddenly the floor shook, they looked back and saw a large heartless that looked like pieces of armor asemble. The duo summoned they're keyblades and jumped down to face it, they kept fighting until it lost an arm, then a leg, then another arm.

"C'mon Richard, just a few more."

When joe sora and stich found Quentin he was with richard and they were fighting a heartless straight away joe roared "NO stop your helping the organization" Joe jumped down infront of the two and so did sora both blocked there attacks they were about to use to defeat the heartless "Stich you finish it" Stich bagan to start shoting at the heartless till it disappeared "Guys we have a problem the organization is trying to take control of kingdom hearts again so no more defeating heartless with keyblades"

"What... Damn it." Quentin cursed to himself. Joe explained the whole thing.

"Well, sounds like we need to return to the LOD." Quentin said, Joe agreed, they found Donald, Chris, and Goofy, then they mounted the gummi ship, Donald was flying, Rupert was looking out the window, and Chris was talking to Joe.. Quentin rested his eyes, the protomateria shard was safe in his pocket. He slowly fell asleep, he saw himself loking at someone... Leslie, she seemed, shiny.

"Leslie?"
