Hey there everyone! I just thought that it might be a good idea to make a dedicated Pokemon Sun and Moon discussion thread for all the news and discussion that will eventually come out about these games. Feel free to use this thread to your heart's content for discussion and news you pick up on.

 

To start with however, only moments ago, we got news from Serebii.net on the CoroCoro scans that were leaked this month.

 

This first scan shows the two box arts blurred out with text saying that you cannot see the Pokemon, there will be massive news to be out next month

 

This next piece of information confirms to us that Magearna/Magiana is in fact, like we all expected, a Fairy/Steel type.

 

That is all the news we have for now.

During the Pokemon House event that trolled us all, I think Mega Weavile was hinted at because I recognized a word and it sounded awfully similar to "Mega" and they were showing a picture of Weavile at the time so who knows.

I hope Pokehuman fusion isn't a thing. The symbol is not helping many say otherwise.

TPC has been particularly trolly in regards to releasing information on these games. At first on that Pokemon show in japan they teased the "First showing of Pokemon Sun/Moon on TV," or something along those lines. The thing is they meant exactly that, meaning they showed the Nintendo Direct video on TV for the first time, with no new stuff. Then Corocoro teased info for April last month and this month we got this.

 

I think they are enjoying this as well. Heh.

I'm psyched up for these upcoming Pokemon games, and I can't wait to explore the new region we'll be getting!  I just hope we get lots of customization for our avatars, and hopefully, we'll get an awesome story and more new Pokemon!  And let's hope the designs are badass!

All I want for Pokemon Sun and Moon is to have a longer post-game event. I hope the new post-game is similar to Alpha Sapphire: Delta Episode, because that was the best post-game I ever play in the entire Pokemon series.

I dunno how it's silly when it's strongly hinted at via the symbol. I mean I doubt it it will go that way, instead go the anime-way (with obvious game mechanics involved), but it's too much of a coincidence the symbol is almost, if not the same as the one in the manga.

From what I've heard, CoroCoro leaks usually hit the internet around the middle of the month. We've probably got another week or two before we get more news.

 

I'm not expecting a whole lot this month, though. If anything, we'll probably just get boxart and a look at the new legendaries. When E3 comes along, we'll likely get a trailer showing off more new features/Pokemon.

Junichi Masuda, himself, has announced that there is information dropping on May 10th at 21:00 JST. That's 9 PM for those who don't know Military time. 

 

So the hours are:

9 PM JST

8 AM EDT

5 AM PDT

It better not be a troll like the last time. Because that was just dumb. At the Pokemon House, they should us nothing. In the April CoroCoro in which they promised us new info, they never gave us any. So we better at least get the mascot legendaries in this CoroCoro.

The information releasing in just 8 hours will be put up on The Pokemon Company's YouTube. That's the kind of announcement we're getting trainers.
