Elfdemon_ 695 Posted April 11, 2016 This is just a minor theory I thought of and have not put too much thought into yet, but I thought I should share it. As we now know, each of the 5 Foretellers are named after 5 of the 7 Deadly Sins. Master Invi, of the Anguis Union, is named after the word "Invidia" which means envy. Master Gula, of the Leopardos Union, is named after the word "Gulam" which means gluttony. Master Ira, of the Unicornis Union, is named after the word "Ira" which means wrath. Master Aced, of the Ursus Union, is named after the word "Acedia" which means sloth. Master Ava, of the Vulpes Union, is named after the word "Avarice" which means greed. There are two 7 Deadly Sins missing here. Pride and lust. My theory is that the 6th Foreteller and the Master of Masters are named after these two Deadly Sins. Which one is named after each Deadly Sin? I'm not too sure. On a side note, it is very obvious that Xehanort's Keyblade fits right in with the Foretellers' Keyblades. And from the E3 KH3 trailer, we can tell that Xehanort's Keyblade most likely didn't belong to him originally as we see it hung up on a wall. I think it's very possible that his Keyblade originally belonged to Xehanort and Eraqus' master. Could this mean that Xehanort and Eraqus' master was related or somehow connected to the 6th Foreteller that we currently know little about? Who knows. What are your thoughts and opinions on this? 4 The Transcendent Key, Shimmy, ShatteredGem and 1 other reacted to this
Shimmy 458 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) I think this is very possible. Goats are associated with lust blah blah Xehanort's keyblade. Of course as I'm sure many people have pointed out the main thing in chi is that we need to collect Luxuria, which means lust in latin of all things. Kind of hilarious because that would imply lux/their lust for power is whats driving the foretellers apart. I'd like to pin the Master of Masters as pride, as Pride is often considered the deadliest of the sins. Interestingly enough pride is associated with Lions and Lions and Goats go together to create a chimera... But that bit is going nowhere, anyways I think the sixth apprentice representing lust is highly likely, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Master of the Masters is the supposed representation of pride. TheKingdomkid 1,194 Posted April 11, 2016 How do you know the names of the Foretellers they never revealed that have they? Besides the Fox one they rest of them are still unknown right?

While luxuria means lust, lux means light. Latin is weird like that. But, yeah goat=lust and lion=pride. While the chimera may not come in to play, there is a known character who happens to be associated with lions. The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted April 26, 2016 (edited) This is a very interesting theory! When it comes down to it, what sin would the Master Of Masters and the Sixth Foreteller bear? It's intriguing to think about, ya know!? I think we'll get more information on this in the coming months and in X Back Cover! But yeah, this is the only thing I spoiled to myself in advance about Unchained X/X's plot, so I ain't prying further! I'll play the missions in Unchained X till I've caught up with the current story update! Edited April 26, 2016 by The Transcendent Key
Jiminy's Journal 13 Posted April 27, 2016 I think Lux/goat is the sixth apprentice (and the traitor), and Erbi (as in superbia) is the master. I agree with Isamu about the lion.
Hoshiko Hikari 300 Posted June 15, 2016 I think Lux/goat is the sixth apprentice (and the traitor), and Erbi (as in superbia) is the master. I agree with Isamu about the lion. Erbi sounds much better than what I was thinking he'd be called, which is Super or Superb That would be a funny introduction.
