What are your thoughts on Unchained χ so far?

Pretty lacklustre especially for hardcore gamers/ story lovers like myself, been playing since launch and the repetitveness hits early. It would not feel so bad if i was actually getting story content, but I'm a 100 missions in and i've gotten little to no story that's actually relevant. At this point im just hoping i can see ephemera before i claw my eyes out.

This. It's definitely worth playing just as a fix until 2.8 comes out, but it's definitely 'eh', to me. Which I figured it would be anyway but I was just irritated that it took so long to come out because it's so 'eh'.

Its fun! I'm not blown out of the water, but I never play phone games and this ones got me pretty hooked.Wish I had a party to see how that all plays out but till then its alright.

 

I like how you get to borrow other peoples cards, thats cute. and the avatar customisations cute too.

 

Im just happy we got it at all (says the girl from australia who technically shouldnt have it) so we can understand some more core plot.

All i care about is getting through it for the story, I don't like the game and Nomura should have never made it. It just further complicates everything by having one of the most lore filled games as a cheap mobile FTP and if it's something as important as the beginning of the KH timeline it should have been in a console game with more emphasis put on it. They're too many non numbered games that hold crucial story and lore at this point and it will only damage the series. 

 

Besides my issues with the games existence, it's overly-simple and repetitive but i do appreciate all the art and music put into it.

I have yet to play it, because I encountered some hiccups during the download, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna love it.

The worst part is that I totally won't have enough cellular data to support playing this for every day of the month =P. But other than that, I'm having a blast; playing is fun, I joined a hilarious party (you guys are great) and it's just all around enjoyable, especially for a mobile title.

It's alright so far. I've only got to Agrabah so I'm very early in the game as I haven't had enough time to play it. Nothing has happened in the story so far and based on some of the posts here, I'll be playing a while before anything does.

 

I'm a bit divided on the Medal System. On one hand, it's kind of a throwback to the Card System in CoM which I like... But on the other, the medals are quite grindy to level and evolve. I haven't obtained any medals that can evolve my cards yet, but no doubt I will. Obtaining new medals with Jewels is far too random too.

 

The combat itself is pretty damn easy, there's been one or two quests where I haven't three "Mickey'd" them simply because I can't defeat an enemy in one turn, but other than that I have never been in danger of almost dying. In fact I mostly one shot things.

 

I haven't joined a party or anything, but that's because I don't really get it.

 

All in all, I'm only playing the game for the story. So as long as the gameplay doesn't get too grindy or have an over reliance on me having to buy jewels to get better medals in order to progress then I'll be perfectly happy. The game runs really smooth on my Xperia Z3 so that's definitely a plus

I'm currently waiting for a europe release. I could go and download the NA version but I already have the JPN version so there isn't much of a point. 

From my JPN experience I do know that I love the game though! It's something I can just play when I have some free time!

So. I just finished Quest 200.

Level 74.

 

This game is so slow to start. I haven't used my Jewels yet so I only had my friend-tier Medals. I want my Premium Medals and Attack Up L and Guilt.

But I am biased. I still love this game, becase KH. I know it's going to get better and more interesting in the future.
