KH3 needs it's own 'Uncovered' event

DAMN! Square Enix are going all out with this FFXV Uncovered event: release date reveal, a livestream in multiple languages, a full blown trailer, a playable tech demo and tons more stuff. Tabata also said there is a FFXV playstation in the works .

 

If you guys don't already know, during a monthly livestream or something with Tabata he said that they aren't allowed to reveal release dates until the game is nearing completion.

 

FFXV is constantly getting news through it's own blog, interviews with Tabata and frequent trailers (he said himself they are expensive to put together since the devs have to take different parts of development and put them together). There's even been a 'behind the scenes' video. We've also gotten the lengthy duscae demo of course. 

 

 

As you can see-FFXV has a TON of build up to it with all this different stuff going on. I DEFINITELY DO NOT want this much stuff to be thrown out on the road to KH3-it'll just spoil the game. However, since XV is nearly done (85% I think?) they can release more information and put more trailers together. I would like something similar to this for KH3-but obviously they need to livestream the event so we can see it. FFXV has had private events in the past so it's not as if KH3 is alone when it comes down to that. 

 

If you don't know already-The uncovered event is being hosted in the USA (I think it's San Diego? Somewhere sunny at least.) So of course they want to cater to their fans worldwide rather than it being it a Japan based event.

 

I would definitely like a KH3 'Uncovered' where we get the release date, I think it's definitely a big possibility.

It won't happen because of Disney and Nomura.

FF XV sharing so much info was because Nomura barely made anything for the game, just a few trailers in all the years he was the director of FF Versus XIII.

Or I could be wrong.

I'd be more inclined to blame any refusal to let fans look behind the curtain on Nomura, who played coy with FFXV for years, and seems to be doing much the same with KH3 now.

Disney says what they can and cannot do because they own KH, i'm pretty sure nomura would have tried to do something by now. the only reason there was an event for 3D was because it was also the 10th anniversary of KH.

You are all aware that Disney hosts D23? An event dedicated solely to the upcoming content of all of Disney's subsidiaries?! A KH3 uncovered will happen!

 

Here's what I want out of a Kingdom Hearts III uncovered event.

• Kingdom Hearts Anime (A summary of KH1/Chain of Memories/KH2/358/2 Days/Birth by Sleep/Coded/Dream Drop Distance/X (Chi))
• Kingdom Hearts Disney Infinity Figures (specifically, Kingdom Hearts III orientated characters like Young Xehanort/Young Eraqus)
• Kingdom Hearts Tsum Tsum (Tsum Tsum's are made by Japan so it's not out of the realm of possibilities)
• A Kingdom Hearts Demo like Final Fantasy XV platinum edition. Maybe something along the lines of Ventus whilst he is comatose in "sleep"?
• A revived Kingdom Hearts Manga Series. I understand that the Manga was dead long ago but a revival with revised arcs would be cool
• An actual Kingdom Hearts Ultimania. Please, this would cement the seriousness and complexity of the Kingdom Hearts lore!
• Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 bundle together: call it 'The Dark Seeker Saga' and have it for PS4/Xbox One/NX (if it's a home console)

I think there is a misunderstanding here, based on a comment made a while back. Something about how KH can't have Active Time Reports like FFXV because Disney of Disney. This is true, but understandable.

 

Square can do whatever they want with FF, and so those FFXV reports can be done whenever they want and it can be casual if they want. Because KH is a Disney product, all information has to be approved by them first (which is understandable). So it's not so much that Disney doesn't want KH events, there's just so much extra tape to go through, it really isn't worth it for just a smidge of info. Better to save up for events like E3, TGS, and D23.KH3 is most likely coming out next year, and that's when the news will come. It is completely obvious there will be a Sora Disney Infinity Figure planned to coincide with KH3's release. Since there is attraction flow, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of interaction within the parks.

Just imagine if Disney allowed SE to do this. The FFXV Uncovered event was filled with hype and I can't say anything negative about it. Hopefully Disney will take notes and maybe do this real soon.

That would actually make a hella lot more difference than marketing for KH right now. I mean, thousands upon thousands head to their parks.

This would be extremely more effective than what Square Enix could ever do. But Disney won't likely do it because REASONS!

I hope your right. And it seems likely since Disney's been more interactive with Kingdom Hearts as of late.
