I honestly despise the turn based gameplay from these series but the stories are great. I don´t remember if this one also has that kind of gameplay but because of the environments, graphics and story it´s hard not to be excited

Yes, yes I am! I began to be excited about it once I got to try out the Final Fantasy "eXVee" Demo. It felt so smooth and thrilling running up to some random enemies in the fields and initiating combat... And the realism behind falling Damage is marvelous, even if it is a bad thing.

 

I hope to play FF eXVee without any more pain for anyone.

I would very much like to be, if for no other reason than it symbolizes Square moving away from FFXIII and doing one of the things that made FF great: giving you a new world and characters to interact with. At the same time, I'm not a huge fan of the direction of this one to a more modern setting, and the characters thus far are honestly too pretty for me to the point where I have a hard time taking them seriously. The combat and gameplay aren't necessarily up my alley, as I am a fan of the turn based system of old, but I recognize the need to do something different and more action oriented in order to appeal to the modern gamer, so I'm willing to make peace with it.

I'm excited, just not as much as other people might be. I've never been too much involved with the Final Fantasy series. Only ever played the first game of FF13 and rented FF10-2 from a friend. I'm still really curious about this game though and I do plan on getting it.

I haven't been following this game's development since the beginning, so if I say that I've been excited ever since it was Versus XIII, then I'd be lying, ya know?  I mean, I knew the game was a work in progress, but I never really payed much attention to its development, as I was busy with other games and school life at the time, ya know? But lately, with all the news we've gotten on the game, and seeing how beautiful the game looks, and how promising the story could be, I'm definitely excited for it! I'm obviously not gonna get it on the first day, but I will get it when I'm able!

I'm excited about it, Nomura himself said the spirit of the final fantasy series is change, this game has bravely broken everything that xiii was criticised of and is trying something new, I have a lot of faith in this newest entry.

Not as much as I used to,but I'll still get the game when I get my PS4.I was very excited back when it was VersusXIII,but all those years of silence really killed my hype for the game,in my mind that project was cancelled and I accepted it and moved on.Even now when I see new gameplay footage of this game I just don't care for it.
