Elfdemon_ 695 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) This is a very minor worry, but at the same time, it still worries me. From what we've seen so far in the Kingdom Hearts III trailers, the Attraction Flow rides' names don't seem to be set in stone yet. For example, the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters are called "Shooting Ride" and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is called "Big Magic Mountain." My worry is that these might not just be placeholder names. I'm assuming that these are placeholder names, but what if they aren't? How would you all feel if these weren't the placeholder names and what they are actually going to be called? What's your opinion on this? I personally would be very upset. I absolutely love the Disney Parks and the attractions there, and I always thought incorporating the Disney Parks into Kingdom Hearts would be an interesting idea, so I was very excited when I first saw these attractions in the trailers. I hope that these aren't just placeholder names. I hope they actually get the rights to use their actual names. The Big Magic Mountain should be called "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad", the Shooting Ride should be called "Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters", the tea cups should be called "Mad Tea Party." This also brings me to side note. What Disney Park attraction is the Pirate Ship from? There are many different ships in the Disney Parks. Off the top of my head, the two of them that I can think of are Sailing Ship Columbia and Captain Hook's Pirate Ship. It's called Pirate Ship in the KH trailers, so I'm assuming it's Captain Hook's Pirate Ship, so I hope it's actually called "Captain Hook's Pirate Ship" in-game. Anyways, I know it's a minor thing, but I would actually be very upset if they didn't get the rights to use the attractions' actual names from the Disney Parks. EternalReckoning 1,135 Posted March 22, 2016 Yeah dude, I totally get where you are coming from, the original names sound far more epic, especially "mad tea party" IMO, as a great man once said, "this party's gonna get crazy!" 1 Shard the Gentleman reacted to this
Felixx 6,646 Posted March 22, 2016 To be honest I think those names are fine Also "Big Thunder Mountain Railorad" and "Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters" are kinda long, they wouldn't fit on the screen 1 Lubellamy reacted to this
Heartless Plush 177 Posted March 22, 2016 I figure it's owned by Disney, if they really wanted to use the names of the rides and if Disney WANTED to let them use the names of the actual rides, it would happen. If it ends up that they're not the original names, imma guess there's a reason for it on Disneys side
KeybladeMasterBalo 504 Posted March 22, 2016 Putting them exactly as in the parks seems pointless and somehow unoriginal, I do think the as-far-as-of-now given names don´t sound too great but I am hoping they are placeholders. It´s like if the command styles in BBS were called something as "the ice commands" or "the fire commands" or even "the ice cream cone commands" instead of "Diamond Dust" "Firestorm" and "Frozen Fortune". So putting them as "The Pirate Ship Ride" "The shooting ride" looks odd. I think "The Big Magic Mountain" it´s more of a better name but still doesn´t sound too epic. But you know what!? Who cares! Just give us KH3 already! 1 Joey_XIII reacted to this
Guest Posted March 22, 2016 I'm gonna be optimistic and consider them as placeholder names.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted March 23, 2016 Well, honestly, I wouldn't be bothered if Square ends up not putting the original names of the Attractions, ya know? But that's probably because I never had an experience on them when I was a kid, so since I don't have any fond memories of that, and since I've only been to Disneyland once, the whole thing with the Attraction names doesn't faze me, ya know? If they put the original names, great! If not, then I don't really mind! ^_^ 1 Lights_Guardian reacted to this
lehahiah81 60 Posted March 25, 2016 I'm ok not using the official names, but they should be more creative with them. I'm ok with Big Magic Mountain, but the others really need work.
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted April 17, 2016 I don't think they're necessary think they're from rides, I think they;re from the Parade of Lights or whatever they call it. At least that seems to be the inspiration for the ship.
clatter411 75 Posted April 18, 2016 I'm sure they'll include the real names, if not in the Japanese version than at least in the localized version. But then again I don't really care. I think the attraction flow looks extremely lame.
