Veemon 1,540 Posted March 17, 2016 (edited) This isn't for any project or anything, I'm only looking for a few Love stories to read for...personal reasons. I want something short and sweet. And no Romeo and Juliet, for I have already read that. If possible, I would like to be able to read it off the internet, not so much like an E-book, but more like a story made by someone and posted online. Your suggestions will be most appreciated. Rock on! Edited March 17, 2016 by Steven Drake (SteVentus)
catmaster0116 2,676 Posted March 17, 2016 Does Manga or anime count? They are technically stories. You need to be more specific: what media are you after? You mentioned 'read' - which can apply to books, short stories, light novels, graphic novels, comics, manga, magazine articles, light stories, autobiographies, poetry etc

And I am mainly hoping for short stories, however I am willing to make exceptions if those love stories are very good! (I actually mentioned "Short and Sweet" beforehand. That should help give a better idea of the love story I'm after.) Edited March 17, 2016 by Steven Drake (SteVentus)

What the orientation of love story that you are after? you mentioned Romeo and Juliet, but Its better to not make assumptions. Heres a really good anime, its between a boy and girl and will squeeze at your heart (and tear it apart) - its got beautiful art, beautiful story and the director is godly for writing tear jerking plots. On the other hand, a great series (4-5 volumes of light novels), is the series .HACK// Novels; originally about a boy who's crush falls into a coma from playing an online game. In order to bring her back, he plays the game....love triangles form in this series but in the end its a happy ending (although the ending is quite unexpected, but I won't spoil). Its based off a video game mind you. edit: Kobato is pretty good Edited March 17, 2016 by catmaster0116

Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted March 17, 2016 At first I thought you meant real-life experience love stories. : P I wrote a short story on Aerith and Zack on FanFiction.net a while back that I'm rather fond of, and I've read several Final Fantasy VI and Golden Sun fanfics that had some sweet romance, though I am not sure if you would derive enjoyment from it since you may not be familiar with either of those series. I could provide links via PM if you're interested, but beyond FanFiction and good ol' original print I don't have many other suggestions, unfortunately.
