Awesome Sauce 634 Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) Unlike everyone, I was furious (Wanted it to be a mystery so I can be surprised at the theaters. Seriously, is keeping secrets so hard?). Rest of the trailer was good tho. Edited March 15, 2016 by Awesome Sauce 2 Veemon and The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Rest of the trailer was good tho, Yeah! See, that's my issue too. Can't companies keep surprises hidden? Like, I probably would've been more hyped for Spiderman if they hid him from the trailer or something. But I guess companies nowadays like telling all the best parts beforehand rather than waiting to show it during the actual movie. I understand it's to get more people hyped and all that, but, I dunno. I can sort of see why showing characters that will appear in the movie is a good thing though. Maybe it's a Marketing technique or something? Rock on! Maybe it's a Marketing technique or something? Rock on! well to be fair i feel like Marvel handled this fairly well. it's still more of a tease and it's not as if they showed multiple scenes of Spider Man doing flips and kicks and web slinging. They teased the fans with just enough to get everyone hyped up. As far as trailer reveals go it's not the worst. everyone already knew he was going to be in the movie and based on the teaser that's about all we still know (save for maybe a few things regarding his appearance). i don't think a few seconds will ruin the overall experience in the end. yes surprises are nice but i doubt that this is how Spider Man will be introduced in the actual film. this feels more like an edit made specifically to tease fans. His "Hey everyone" line really seems to suggest that too. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted March 16, 2016 UNDEROOS!!! *Thwip!* Dun dun dun! *Thwip!* Dun dun dun! DUN! *Lands on the truck.* "Hey everyone!" *Eyes squint.* DUN DUN!!! May 6 No duh because you're in the movie turkeybrain! Lol, true that. YHHHEEEAASSSS! I KNOW, RIGHT!? Unlike everyone, I was furious (Wanted it to be a mystery so I can be surprised at the theaters. Seriously, is keeping secrets so hard?). Rest of the trailer was good tho. You know, I also thought this! Before I even clicked on the trailer, I was thinking to myself: "Should I watch it or not? What if they show Spider-Man? I don't want to see him till the movie comes out, cuz I wanna be surprised!" But yeah, I watched the trailer anyway, and when the final seconds came up and Spider-Man swung on the scene, I freaked! I was conflicted! Lol. I was like: "NO MARVEL, WHY DID YOU SHOW SPIDEY!? OMG, HIS SUIT LOOKS AMAZING, THE EYES EVEN MOVE!!! SPIDEY'S SUIT LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! AHHH, BLARGH, BUT I WAS TRYING TO AVOID THIS!!!" xD" But yeah, I figured that it was best that I saw the trailer when I did, because even if I had avoided it, I would've been spoiled either way by people here, or on Youtube, cuz Spidey's reveal is a really hot topic! But yeah, in the end, I'm happy I saw him, he looks badass! Yeah! Rock on! Like with the post above, I also didn't want to see Spidey in the trailer, but I was still happy when he showed up! But yeah, Marvel figured this was a good marketing move, since it'll get moviegoers even more excited to see Civil War! Good marketing garners good money, ya know? well to be fair i feel like Marvel handled this fairly well. it's still more of a tease and it's not as if they showed multiple scenes of Spider Man doing flips and kicks and web slinging. His "Hey everyone" line really seems to suggest that too. Ooh, so in other words, you think Spidey made a 4th wall break with his "Hey everyone" line!? You know, that's actually pretty cool, when you think about it, cuz Spidey's also been known to be funny like that! Heck, his sense of humor is one of his most shining qualities! X3 But yeah, even though I didn't want to see Spidey in this trailer, I'm very happy he did end up appearing anyway! I really hope he's a big part of the movie, or that he's at least in a lot of scenes! 1 TheFriedPopsicle reacted to this
