Keyblade transformations, and their implications

Recommended Posts

Okay, i was thinking about the two shoot blaster, and how it alledgedly comes from that new fangled keychain in the trailers (just like the chariot from the new zeus themed keyblade) if every keychain has a different transformation, then wouldnt that end up being way cooler than drive forms? there is the dilema of ventus coming back taking away the synch blade ability from sora /rucksack, which lots of use really enjoyed. but now when i think of it, couldnt sora just split his keyblade into two swords? kinda like wingblade?

Yeah, I'm pretty much guessing that Keyblade Transformations will be Nomura's way of saying: "Well guys, we may take Drive Forms away from you when Ventus wakes up, but on the bright side, you'll be able to transform your Keyblades into lots of different stuff!"  So yeah, I'm pretty sure all the Keyblade Transformations will be varied and fun, and they'll definitely provide a unique flair to combat, maybe even more so than Drive Forms! :3

Keyblade transformations remind me of weapons leveling up in the Ratchet and Clank series with the five stages.

My concern is that Sora has too many battle options: Attraction Flow, Keyblade Transformations, Summons etc, and with the possibility of Drive Forms returning, it makes Sora far too over-powered.

I agree with you 100%, whilst it's cool to have all these options; Sora is in danger of being too OP. Especially since Nomura already said that at level 85 Sora will be practically invincible. I'm hoping the boss battles match this too; otherwise it will be a breeze
